Axcess/ILD Teleservices

Consumer Complaints & Reviews

This is one of many questionable services that uses ILD Teleservices to suck money out of consumers.

I received a bill from a third party payer sent to my phone company AT & T for 16.91 for so called services from an internet site called family contact 911. I was told by AT & T that I would need to contact ILD teleservices. AT & T had to have AUTHORIZE ILD to send the bill there in the first place!!!! Trying to pass the buck off that they had no control on that company placing charges to their company!!! okay does that make sense? I told ILD if they did not remove those charges I would contact the attorney general and turn them in for FRAUD. I was told the charge would be removed from the bill, given a person name and confirmation number.

AT&T better get it together as a reputable company, because what they are ALLOWING these companies to do is illegal. I also had to put a block on the phone to keep this from happening again, What A JOkE and another example of the FLEECING that is going on in the good old USA.

On our phone bill for August we had a charge added on in the amount of $15.32( $14.95 plus 37 cents tax) that we couldn't figure out. I called the 800 number that was with it and asked what the charge was for. David, the rep. that answered the phone, explained that we had signed up for their service. He said that they were a fax & voice-mail service that allowed you to send faxes without a fax machine & have a voice-mail service not thru your phone company. When I told him that we had a fax machine & we didn't want voice-mail so we wouldn't want his service & we wouldn't ever signup for a service like that he said that he would give us credit for the charge in June & also a credit for the July charge that we would get next month.

Something needs to be done about these kinds of things that have been happening to people a lot more in the past year or so. If I hadn't happened to notice the charge how long would it have gone on being charged on our bill before it was caught. This kind of thing has happened to us before & I know other people it has happened to, also.

I have been billed by each of these companies for one collect call. ZPDI billed $24.50 for an 8 minute call and then tagged on an additional $10.59 in misc. charges. ILD billed $45.61d for a 9 minute call and tagged on an additional $12.57 in misc. charges. I was never given the opportunity to consider what the charge(s) for these calls would be prior to accepting a collect call from our son. I suspicion the misc. charges are bogus. Perhaps I should be reporting this to the FCC.

I called both companies with my concerns and neither offered a satisfactory explanation, nor did they offer to reverse any of the fees.

Our phone service was mailed to a home office in another state. I took over paying the bill at my location and realized we had been paying $29.95 per month for over a year for web hosting. When I called to inquire about it, they played a recording of my secretary giving her name and confirming the company name and billing address, which was different then the name and billing address of our phone bill. They did not record the questions my secretary was asked.

We called and spoke with numerous people to get a credit. They credited us for only one month. We called back and were told the remaining $329.45 would be credited within two billing cycles. Seven months later and numerous phone calls have gotten us nothing. After four months, no one has ever heard of the original person we spoke with at the company.

I just started handling our bill and I noticed a charge on our Cypress Communications telephone account - $40.43 as a rebill item. I found out from Cypress that it was Axcess...when I got in touch with Axcess, they told me that we did agree to the charges and played back a recording. THE RECORDING WAS NOT ANYONE WHO WORKS AT MY COMPANY!

The woman I spoke with tried several times to tell me that it was my voice. I told her it was not my voice nor was it the voice of anyone I work with - we only have 6 employees - I know what they sound like. The voice on the message said they were a receptionist and gave their title as something we have never used and would not use...it also had the person confirm their birthday - July! No one in the company has a July birthday! After arguing with her for a while, she agreed to cancel the service and give us a credit.

They supposedly are giving me a credit for two months, not the 6 months that we were charged for...the charge was on our May phone bill too and when I called to confirm, they said it had been cancelled. I'm not very optimistic.

I noted charges totalling $35.31 on our business BellSouth bill. They were billed by ILD Teleservices on behalf of Axcess Internet Solutions, Inc. for Web hosting monthly service fee. Our business has no need for a website. Through BellSouth's assistance, we were able to finally get to Axcess via ILD and cancelled the service.

Here's the best part: When I told Axcess they had not been authorized by us, they said they had a verbal authorization from A.T., the Vice President. and played it for me. I called my boss, A.T., and asked why he ordered web hosting if we didn't have a website and he stated he hadn't.

We figured it out that a couple months ago, a guy called stating he was with the phone company, and was at the office to install our free line. A.T. said it will have to be reschedule during office hours. The caller transferred the call to the scheduling department. The taped message was of the schedulers asking totally different questions to the answers that A.T. gave (authorizing the scheduling of the installation of our free telephone line).

We are just amazed at this scam. It's almost worth the $70 we were cheated out of!

Highfield Youth Baseball's Sprint telephone bill was erroneously billed $32.62 via ILD Teleservices Inc. for unauthorized Web Hosting Monthly Fee on February 16, 2006 by Axcess Internet Solution. ILD contacted to remove charges. Axcess Internet Solution was contacted to find out how these charges were added to bill - on hold for over 30 minutes, no call pickup - Message left to cancel this service which was not authorized.

$32.65 was erroneously added to our non-profit organization's telephone bill. We do not have long-distance service on this telephone bill. Exacted a lot of paperwork and telephone calls to erase this charge.

They have, for the 2nd time, charged my phone bill through Bellsouth for fraudulent web hosting fees. The first time I paid and asked that they quit billing, and they agreed. Four months later it happens again.

Now the 800 number refers you to a 900 number that charges $9 for a call or a minute.

Unauthorized calls billed since July 2005 on Bellsouth bill @ $30.85 per month. Was told yesterday and today by Axcess that they would fax a refute certificate and I should fax it back to them disputing the charges. Listened to tape of person in our tennis shop that was telephone solicited. He stated that he was a tennis shop desk worker. That title certainly does not sound like an authority to make decisions to order web hosting services that we already had. Another charge for internet services began in November and they said they can give me two months credit.

$219.97 in bogus charges

Axcess had called our business and asked if we would like a free listing in the business yellow pages. My husband accepted their offer. At no time did they mention any charges. I received a bill on my local telephone bill for 2 months of service at $29.95 per month, plus taxes. When I called to have this cancelled and credited, they played the verification tape which includes my husbands voice. I cannot have the charges credit because of his verification, but he knows that he was not informed of the portion of the tape that describes the charges. He was scammed!

$65.01 in fees and taxes
