Intimate Image Removal

ConsumerAffairs strictly prohibits the posting of nonconsensual intimate images on our platform. If you have been victimized by someone sharing your intimate images without your consent, this page explains how to submit a removal request.

How to Submit a Removal Request

If you believe an intimate visual depiction of you has been published on ConsumerAffairs without your consent, you may submit a removal request by emailing compliance@consumeraffairs.com. Please use "Intimate Image Removal Request" as the subject line of your email. Your request must include the following information in writing:

  • Your full name and electronic signature
  • A description of the content and a URL or other information sufficient to locate it on our platform
  • A brief statement that you have a good faith belief the content was published without your consent
  • Contact information where we can reach you

What Happens Next

Upon receiving a valid request, ConsumerAffairs will remove the identified content and make reasonable efforts to remove any known identical copies as soon as possible, and no later than 48 hours after receipt.
