Consumer Complaints & Reviews

We purchased a new 40' motor coach in 2011. The dealer sold us a policy with Automotive Warranty Services of Florida, Inc. It's called "The Plan" and covers the tires on an RV. "The Plan" is a work of art! We had a trucker pull beside us in very heavy traffic and warn us of a huge bubble that had formed on our tire. He suggested that we replace it soon before it blows.

We pulled over and a tire service told us the same thing. So I followed the directions (you have to call "The Plan" before you can use "The Plan" to get an authorization #) and we got the tire changed... to the tune of $688.00. Don't get sold on this scam! They have done everything they can to intimidate and be flat out rude in their attempts to not pay. It is pretty evident that they had no intention of paying from the start. I will notify the State of Florida and do hope that someone comes down on them so that they can't take advantage of others.

My daughter took her Dodge caliber into the Don Jackson Chrysler Dodge Jeep, 3950 Jonesboro Road, Union City, GA 30291-2258 for a noise coming from her alternator. After some test work, the technician "Stacey **" came back with a price quote of $1009. I thought this was too much for an alternator and told the technician not to do anything.

I had her take her vehicle to AutoZone and had them run the same test, and to my surprise, my alternator wasn't bad but the pulley was. And the cost for the pulley was $65 which is a far cry from what she had been told just moments ago at Don Jackson Dodge.

This is an example why most hard-working Americans don't want to buy the US product because of crooks like this shop. A young lady is at the mercy of a thief, and the dealership license should be pulled and it reported to the BBB for their dishonest practice.

On 12/5/2011, my check engine indicator came on. I took my car to Darcars of New Carrollton to check to see exactly what the problem was. I was told that a head cylinder, timing belt and water pump needed to be replaced. I called my warranty company, was told that I had the "Platinum Plan" and that those repairs was covered under my plan. The dealership was authorized to send the heads to a machine shop for repairs instead of being replaced. All other work was performed by Darcars. I picked my car up on 01/03/2012 and my car has been running hot every since.

I dropped my car back off at Darcars on 01/11/2012 for the same issues, the head cylinders. I called my warranty company to inform them of these issues and they refused to have the work done. I was told by two different customer service reps that they were not authorizing any work to be done on that vehicle. They also only paid for 15 days of rental when the car was in the shop for 28 days.

I was contacted by Steve **, sales representative who informed me that he was following up on the quote I was given by a supervisor. I informed him that won't need his services and he asked why. I informed him that I went with another company. Steve then asked "what company?" I told him and he immediately told me that that company is a "broker". Steve did not know that I did my research, and the company was not. He then told me the company was not rated with the BBB, which they were and had a A+ rating. The Steve then became argumentative, rude and disrespectful and told me I don't know what I'm talking about. I told him I was going to end the call because he was insulting my intelligence then he hung up on me. I called Manager Marcion **. He said he would handle the situation.

I bought a vehicle at Sharpe BMW in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The dealer provided a power train warranty on this vehicle. The dealer claimed that the transmission gasket was leaking and wanted a lot of money to have it fixed. I had the repair done at another repair facility, saving hundreds of dollars. Four months later, the torque converter goes bad and the dealer claims that the fluid was short one quart of fluid. The warranty company denies the claim, and now, it costs $2,500 to have it replaced.

I had some front suspension components fail on my 2007 Dodge Ram. They denied my repair claim saying I was responsible for the failure due to components added to the truck that had no relation to what failed. They are trying to claim I have a lift kit, which I dont have on the truck. The worse part is the Dodge Dealer Service Manager even agreed that the extended warranty should cover the items and they still are denying the claim. The Service Manager says the components on the front of the truck that failed are notorious for failing on all Dodge Ram 2500/3500 pickups. These guys are just out to make a buck, and are screwing over their customers.

I was sold over the telephone a 12 month policy costing $650 for 12 months premium. I was then horrified that auto 1 were then trying to make deductions of $56 every month to turn this warranty into a 2 year deal, which was not what I wanted. I wrote my cancellation letter and was promised that once they ensured I had not made a claim, then I would get a full refund. That was in September 2009. After various e-mails and telephone calls, I'm told they are looking at it and no I cannot have a name of an individual with whom I can take this forward with. I lost my initial #650, however it is disappointing to see a Company like this being able to continue to trade, when they are obviously dishonest.

I purchased automotive extended warranty for my vehicle, It seems that every time I experience a problem and take my car in for repairs, they find some reason to not pay for repairs. Once they said I didn't have coverage long enough. The next time, it wasn't a covered item. Most recently, my alternator went out. Although it was a covered item, they now say I didn't have the transmission serviced so they won't cover it, even though the transmission has nothing to do with the alternator. I provided proof that the transmission have been serviced; they still won't cover.

Even the claims adjuster stated they are doing me wrong, because this claim should be covered and he referred me to complain to you. The company repaired the car after they were told this is a covered item. Now, they are coming after me for the cost of repairs, which I don't have money to pay. I am stressed out and depressed worrying about this.

My husband, Ronald, bought an extended warranty from this company on 10/17/2005. We received a price refund certificate stating that if we did not use the warranty at all, the full price of the warranty would be refunded. That price was $2739.00. We are seniors, living on social security and that amount could be used for other expenses. I was leery all along, but my husband insisted. I realize this is not the address that is listed now. I wrote to the above address requesting a refund (I had already called them), but the letter came back. When I talked on the pone, the lady answered US Fidelis. She said only a few had gotten the service contract price refund guarantee, and to go ahead and submit it. I guess we've been scammed, like all I've read on the computer. My husband has been very upset. Being seniors, we could use that money.

After months of paying $108 a month for an extended warranty on our 2003 Nissan Sentra, this company denied our claim when our engine was found in need of repair. They said it was not covered because of lack of oil as the cause of the problem, when in fact, there was sufficient in the engine. The engine will cost over 2 thousand to repair. Car is not drivable.

I purchased a 60-month, 75,000-mile extended warranty from Automotive Warranty Protection for $2100.00. The policy was issued by American Auto Shield of Arvada, CO. As per the contract instructions, I cancelled the policy in writing to American Auto Shield. By March 1, 2010, I had still not received a notice confirming the cancellation or any form of refund.

So I phoned American Auto Shield on March 1, 2010 for a status update. They informed me that they had cancelled the policy on January 19, 2010 and notified Automotive Warranty Protection. I asked about my refund. I was told that I would have to get that from Automotive Warranty Protection, since they sold the policy.

I called the customer service of Automotive Warranty Protection. I asked about the cancellation and refund. I was first told that the cancellation had to be made in writing to them. I proceeded to read the cancellation policy from the policy itself. Nowhere does it mention contacting Automotive Warranty Protection, but rather notifying the policy issuer, American Auto Shield. The response after that was "We have no record of the cancellation. I'll have to check into the cancellation policy. I'll have to check with American Auto Shield and get back to you."

I then asked about the amount of the refund that should be forthcoming. I was told that the refund would be prorated. I repeated the information from American Auto Shield: Since I did not have any claims against the policy, I should receive a full refund.

The cost of the policy was $2100.00. I made an initial payment of $295.00 by using a Visa Debit card. Two additional payments of $75.21 each, one on 1/04/2010 and the other on 2/01/2010, were charged to the same debit card. The total paid to date has been $445.42. I was told by the representative of Automotive Warranty Protection that someone would get back to me within the next day or two.

I purchased an extended warranty for my 2000 Land Rover Discovery II on March 1, 2004. The warranty, which was underwritten by AUIC, was for full coverage for six years expiring on 3/01/10 or at 100,000 miles for a total cost of $3,302.00. The agreement number is ARA-06.1892. I chose to purchase this specific warranty because it was underwritten by AUIC and re-insured by Hartford Insurance. I thought they were reputable companies and therefore there was less chance of being scammed. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

I experienced my first major problem with the car on Saturday, January 16, 2010 (water pump). In addition, the passenger side rear door power lock had recently stopped working. Both of these items were covered under the warranty. The contract directs you to take the car back to the dealership or an authorized auto shop (but does not specify which shops are authorized) so I had it towed to Land Rover. When my dealership (Hinsdale Land Rover) first contacted AUIC, they were told my insurer went bankrupt and the contract was no longer valid even though they were the underwriter.

When I contacted them directly to investigate (and informed them that I would be contacting the BBB and the Colorado Attorney General's office because I felt I had been scammed), I received a call back from Kelly (male) explaining that they had looked at "the wrong batch of policies and in fact my policy was still in effect. " I then put Kelly in touch with my dealership. The dealership called shortly thereafter to inform me that although I had "full coverage," AUIC refused to pay the full cost. They only agreed to pay $663.13, which would leave a deficit of $441.66.

After making numerous calls to AUIC, I received a call back from Randy M. He informed me that the company would only pay $60 per hour for labor. When I informed him that I couldn't get a certified mechanic in my area for that amount, he insisted that the contract states that and pointed out the item in the contract where he felt it was explained. In fact, the contract item he directed me to states: "'Diagnostic time' means the time required to determine the part(s) that have failed and is limited to one (1) hour of labor time per repair visit and a maximum of sixty dollars ($60) per repair visit."

This contractual item specifically states that the company will pay $60 for diagnostic services. It does not state that they will only pay $60/per hour for repairing the vehicle. I reviewed this contract thoroughly before purchasing it and would have never purchased a $3,302.00 contract from a company that stated they would only pay $60/hour for labor on covered repairs. The cost of a certified mechanic was more than $60/hour in my area at the time of purchase. That means I would have committed to coming out of pocket with money to repair my car even though I was purchasing a full coverage warranty. That would not have made good business sense.

Randy also stated that they would pay 20% over a cost they deem reasonable for parts. As a consumer, I have no control over what parts cost. If you apply Randy's math, the repair shop would have to agree to take a 35-55% reduction on their labor cost and make 20% over the cost of parts (less than 20% if AUIC feels that the parts cost are more than reasonable). Add the two together and the shop would lose money repairing the car. This is absolutely absurd.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau and asked for their assistance with this matter. Of course, AUIC sent it to their legal department, and I began working with Mr. Al G. Mr. G. started by saying I would not be reimbursed for towing and car rental if I had incurred some expenses (further evidence that their first reaction is to deny payment on covered expenses). After learning that I had in fact verified that towing and rental car charges were covered per my executed contract, they agreed to pay it.

Mr. G. went on to say that the car could have been transferred to another service shop and repaired. In all of my talks with Kelly and Randy, neither made that offer/suggestion and I didn't know that I had that option given the fact that the car would have had to be towed again (towing had to be approved by them).

After going back and forward with the company, they still refused to pay the remaining balance. So in the end, although I paid them for the security of knowing that my car could be repaired in full if I had car trouble that did not happen. It turned out that the fan was damaged when the water pump went out. So in total, I was charged $1,316.65 for repairs and towing and AUIC only agreed to reimburse me for $836.64. Their "full coverage" warranty in fact was a "60% coverage" warranty for the cost of $3,302.00. I ended up having to pay out $480.01 in addition to the original $3,302 I paid for "full" coverage.

On 12.12.2009, I bought a warranty program `Drivers Choice` (which is administrated by Warranty Administration Services) at Affordable Auto Sales, 1066 E.Lincoln Highway, Langhome, PA 19047. Contract agreement number of this program is 3B041187. Unfortunately, this service was inadequate because warranty company denied a claim for the transmission problem happened with my car (claim # 43454 from 01.14.10) and refused to reevaluate my case with a reference on exclusions which are not in our agreement.

This warranty company sold their product with eventually hidden conditions for consumer. They did not disclose all exclusions on the contract and trying to take advantage of me in this case simply denied claims. I am disappointed because Administration Services customer service representatives weren't cooperative and all the time during telephone conversations did not want to negotiate the problem. Their emails were deceptive and did not answer straight on my questions. I was misled and misrepresented. To resolve the problem, I would appreciate your specific actions to make this company cover the claim on my car. I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem. Paid $2,000 for fixing transmission.

Letter I wrote to the company:

I am writing in regards to my Car Warranty Policy that was mistakenly cancelled. My concerns are that this policy was cancelled without my knowledge, no written notice, no phone call, nothing. I think this entire process has not been handled in a business like fashion. I myself deal with the public all day long and if this was the way that I treated customers or cancelling something that was not in writing or verbal conversation with the customer and not noted, I would have been fired.

Let me tell you how everything transpired here in regards to my car warranty. I purchased the car warranty over the phone and provided them with all my information, including sending a copy of my registration card with the VIN # of the vehicle. I was on a payment plan for $115.00 a month (around that don't have the actual number in front of me at this time). My payment was to be paid off in March, which is fine because it was on auto payment directly from my checking account.

So, I ran into a situation with my vehicle in September and brought it to David Dodge to see if they could find out what the noise was on my car. They came back to me and said it was the transmission, so I called the car warranty company and gave them the information of person to contact at Dodge. So [Dealer Services] office (Don) contacted Bob at David's Dodge and we scheduled a time for office to come out and do their inspection on the vehicle. It was set up for one day during the week (can not remember the actual day) but Don never came out on the day it was scheduled and showed up 2 days later.

When Don came out, he inspected the vehicle and agreed that a new transmission was needed. Don called Bob at Dodge and told him that [their] office had my car listed as a Charger! A Charger, I don't know where they got a Charger out of a Caliber? I come to find out that the VIN# that [their] office had under my policy was for a Charger. I have never owned a Charger and I am assuming someone punched in the incorrect VIN# in system.

So Don said we will get that number fixed and if I could send him a copy of my registration card with the VIN# on it. So when the VIN# was corrected, Don called Bob with the pre-authorization number for the vehicle so that he could get started. So they did. Come to find out a week later that I had to put the money upfront and [Dealer Services] would reimburse me the money I had to pay upfront to get the vehicle fixed. I was told that I would be reimbursed the money after [their] office deducts the remaining balance of my policy ($710.00) which was fine with me. I did not have a problem with that at all.

So after the vehicle was fixed and about 3 weeks later, I faxed over the invoice so that I could be reimbursed as I told I would be. Then, I see money put back into my account from [their] office and did not know why. I assumed that this was a portion of what I was getting back and maybe the rest would come in a check. Well then a few days later, I get a letter with a check for $115.00 as another part of a reimbursement which I thought for the money I put out of pocket.

So I called [their] office to find out why I am being reimbursed this money in portions and not one lump sum check. Come to find out from this nasty male on the phone that my policy was cancelled. It just seemed strange that [their] office cancelled my policy after [they] already approved it to be fixed. I ask the man on the phone who cancelled this policy, he said that I did. I told him I absolutely did not cancel anything. I told him I wanted to know who they spoke with when it was cancelled. He told me to hold on. So when he got back on the phone, he said that your office cancelled this policy because the VIN'S# did not match up.

Well them I was [upset] and still am. I feel that these people know that I am a single mother who probably needs a man to take care of her and stand up for her but believe you me, I don't. I don't like being taken advantage of and would like to get this matter resolved with [them] ASAP. The policy was cancelled, now I have not extended warranty on my car. Time that I have to take to deal with this company on a weekly basis since August. This is just mentally frustrating since they leave you on hold forever and then no one ever gets back on the phone and no one ever returns your phones that you have made. I have been calling them at least once a week since September when I received the letter that my policy was cancelled after submitting my bill for reimbursement. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that I can get my money reimbursed and my policy reinstated with no cost out of my pocket.

Me and my husband purchased out truck about 2 years ago thru Vista we added a warrenty since they vechile we purchased was used. After about 3 months of having the truck we cancelled the warranty which the warranty was cancelled and they sent Vista a check for $1307.46 which was suppose to be applied to our loan since we no longer have the warranty.

Called my finance company which they never recieved the check and we no longer have a warranty. Now we are paying on a warranty we don't even have and are out $1307.46 I have contacted GM and the warranty company and no one can help me get in contact with someone or direct me to the right person to get my money back. I need help on finding out I can go about getting this taken care of. This has been going on for 2 years now..

aaautowarranty.com autowarrantyresearch.com aaautoprotection.com aa auto warranty aa auto protection and possibly other names are one and the same. This company wrongfully deceived me by lines like "Just like a new car warranty, only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", and other lines. The truth is, the "product warranty" they sold me was so restricted. and would never pay for anything when breakdown occurs. The reality hit me pretty badly when my engine failed.

I purchased an agreement from them with good faith on 9/16/2009. I was in the market for an extended warranty for my truck as my warranty at the time was expiring on 11/11/2009. I first looked around in the web and quickly discovered that, there are many fraudulent companies like US Fidelis out there. I knew not to contact US Fidelis but I didn't even dream that AAAutowarranty.com was selling me an identical "product warranty" by same provider also sold by US Fidelis.

I shopped around, and asked many questions. I first received a quote in an email by AAAutowarranty.com. It wasn't too expensive or the lowest, I decided to give them a call. They offered me 2 plans to choose from. They were both from same provider. I asked about a coverage on turbo charger, as I had a turbo charger failed on me previously. I was told that one of them listed turbo charger in covered components, but the other one didn't list turbo charger. but in event, if turbo charger was damaged due to failed covered component, it will be covered.

I asked about hub bearing, and the sales guy couldn't answer. I was connected to his supervisor, The supervisor said front wheel hub bearing would be covered as all internally lubricated components of axles are covered. The sales guy continued to tell me about how great this warranty is. "Just like a new car warranty, Only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", "15 days and 500 mile activation period", "No limit on each claim, up to actual cash value of the vehicle", "Just keep up with the oil change, at any service facility", "5 year 150,000 mile coverage", "If something happens to your car, just take it in to any ASE certified facility. 'we' will take care of the rest" and others.

I called around and found other warranty companies that were offering the same coverage from the same provider. I didn't care for them as they were high pressure sales. A lady from one warranty company asked me what I was considering. I told her about this great coverage offered by AA Auto Warranty, 5 year 150,000 mile coverage, activation period 15 days and 500 miles and so on. She said she didn't have anything with 15 days and 500 mile activation period, and it must be some kind of a product warranty that requires additives added to engine, transmission, gear cases and others or it's a scam.

I called back AA Auto Warranty and asked if it was a "product warranty" with some kind of additives. He said "No, it's a regular warranty". I felt like I did enough research, and I gave the guy my credit card number. I worked as a business development manager and other positions in sales field. I always presented our products with truth, never withholding negative info on anything. I had no reasons to suspect AA Auto Warranty. I received a small package from the provider in what seems like couple of weeks later. I never really looked at it. I even felt comfortable enough, and canceled my real warranty in early October after I reached 500 mile and 15 day activation period.

In mid October my truck started to smoke badly and lost power on freeway. I was so glad that I renewed my warranty policy with AAAutowarranty. I looked for a service facility that would work with an aftermarket warranty company, and took my truck in. They said it seemed like cracked piston or broken piston ring. They said warranty company should cover such damage, they got an approval for teardown from the provider and took the engine a part. They found a wrist pin circlip came off of a piston and damaged the piston and the cylinder wall badly. This was an instantaneous damage.

I got a call from the repair facility a day before Thanksgiving day telling me that provider denied the claim. I was shocked. I failed to understand the reason for denying my claim. The guy from the repair facility emailed me a pdf attachment he received from the provider. It had many misspellings and most of the sentences weren't even complete. I couldn't believe the level of the response I received from this company. I found out soon later that I wasn't the only one experienced the same situation. A fact is, all of the policies or agreements from this provider is so strict.

They will always find 10 reasons why they won't pay for the claim, pre-existing, worn components, parts not actually broken to pieces, one of the oil change record was hand written, not covered part or condition, and many other ridiculous reasons why they won't pay for the claim. This provider is a scam, so is AAAutowarranty that sold the coverage to me knowingly and willingly. And they count on you NOT to read or understand the policy, otherwise they wouldn't be selling such ridiculous insurance policy.

I filed a complaint with BBB. The first response from AAAutowarranty was that they don't process or approve any claims. But the real problem is the fraudulent misrepresentation of the selling broker, in this case AAAutowarranty. Maybe it's my fault that I trusted them so much. but I'm not the only one. I didn't even find out until very recently that there were tablets and battery terminal protectors in the box I received from the provider. also, there was a "information" on the warranty with all the exclusions and conditions in the box. I was never asked to read or understand any of this by anyone. I never acknowledged any of this.

Troy N. from AA Auto Warranty tried to tell me that I acknowledged all the fine prints when I give them the 3 digit security code from back of my credit card. I told him that has nothing to do with the fine prints I didn't even know existed. Marc K. from AAAutowarranty agreed with me that all of the calls are monitored and AAAutowarranty knew every details listed in conditions of all the agreements. Marc K. told me that this provider only started to behave in such manner within last couple of month as economy took a deeper dive. I disagree. There is no evidence of them changing their coverage information and there are many people complaining about this provider for years.

The truth is, nobody sane would purchase such agreement or policy if they knew all the restrictions and conditions of these warranty policies. AA Auto Warranty also violated insurance regulation and state laws by selling disguised insurance policy.

All victims should contact FTC, Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies of each states. AAAutowarranty has locations in NJ, PA, MD and DE. I believe Baltimore office is the most active sales location as they are currently looking for more sales/telemarketing position for that office. All of the victims should contact AG, DOI and others in each of those states.

All the victims should also file a claim with BBB, I don't know how they ended up with an A+ as they only had a rating of B- when I looked them up back in September. They do have 50 complaints on the record. I know of a business that had no complaints ever and has a C rating. BBB isn't a reliable source after all. They recently changed their company name to AA Auto Protection to avoid some investigations.

Please contact me if you have a class action lawsuit against AA Auto Warranty or AA Auto Protection. I like to join or possibly start one if I can't find one already started. My truck is sitting in the shop, I can't afford the repair. It would've been covered by another warranty company if it wasn't for fraudulent misrepresentation of AA Auto Protection.

2/27/09 i purchased (2) warrantied for two different automobiles. This consisted of giving them $495 up front for each warranty, and financing the difference with their company $155.56 x 18 months. I canceled the very next day one of the warranties. I kept the other for now. I was told then, they would reverse the $495 from my citibank Master card. No big deal. I have had 2 promises now that they were going to credit me back the $495. One was a voice mail I let citibank listen to. Well to this date they have not refunded my $495, I contacted my citibank manager and they have not been able to talk to a real person.

The other warranty i wanted to use it for transmission failure and they would not cover the repair. I read the fine print of the actual warranty and they make sure you will not get a transmission repaired from the warranty. By the way i recieved the policy or the actual warranty 30 days after i paid for it. So I canceled this warranty and stopped making payments. I asked for my money back because of misrepresentation, false advertising...etc...of course I have not heard from them.

I purchased a 3year extended warranty on my car over the phone from a call from this company. I put $2700 on my discover card and hve nor recieved a policy or any information as to caverage. This ws done on Sept 12, 2009. I have made numerous attempts to cancel but they say it can't be done because I signed a paper I recieved in the mail and had to send back so I have nothing to show for my money.

When I try to call it says the call cannot be completed as dialed. I am a 73 year old widow and never thought I would be stupid enough to fall for such a scam but I guess I was proven wrong. I think a class action law suit should be brought against this business. I have only my social security and a very small retirement $189 a month to live on and I am still paying on my home. I would wecome any assistance from you. Thank you.

I have already put into a complaint to consumeraffairs.com in regard to the phone calls that I receive almost on a daily basis from the above listed companies. Last week after making my complaints about the above listed company, and after having asked multiple times to be removed from this companies phone list (last week, it was requested on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) I received another phone call from the same robot on Friday afternoon, then another phone call from another company called vehicle warranty services, and today Monday Nov 16,2009 I have received another phone call from them.

On Friday afternoon Nov 13, 2009 I spoke with Tom M. who stated that he was a supervisor, he refused to give me the name of the company he was working for, refused to give my information to the owner of the company for a phone call back, as well as would not give the name of the owner of the company. Tom hung up on me and I called back and spoke with another sales rep Kathy. She stated that they were called Vehicle warranty contract services and that they also go by other names as well, but would not divulge.

I also requested that she give my information to the owner of the company for a courtesy phone call back. Nothing. Except I get another robot call today. When I called back to speak with them today I was told basically that I could complain all I want and that the owner would not be bothered with my issue of repeated phone calls.

Puschased a warranty program after I listed off potential parts / or problems recommendded by my repairman that might happen with my 1998 Volvo wagon. I was told that each of these items were covered, so I bought the program. Six months later we took the car in started to look at doing some of the work. They sent out a guy who told the mechanic none of the requested work would be covered.

I have since (11/1/09) cancelled my policy and asked for a complete refund, based on misrepresentation of what I was told. I now have found that the company is no longer in buisness. What I'd like to find out is if there is a lawsuit happening against this company? (class action suit?) $500.00 deposit and $86.00 a month for the last 6 months.

Recieved a call from Direct Protect warranty, about my warranty running out on my vehicle, They wanted to sell me a extended warranty, with no deductible, sales pitch was with coverage for everything but electronic switchs in the cab and radio was not cover basically everything else was, repairs could be done anywhere as long as they were ASE certified shop,No aftermarket parts all oem and no deductible, this sounded to good to be true, I explained I would like to think about it for a day or 2, salesman explained it was only good for the time we were on the phone. I could not call back in a couple days then start it because they would have all sorts of people waiting for there car to break down then put a warranty on them. I understood that theory, and decided to purchase, I explained I was going on a trip and would not be back for a month, they explained I could review it when I get back and if decide to cancel I could.I actually got stuck out there for work reasons and did not get back for 2 months, And on the way home My alternator went out, I had looked up direct warranty on line, called them to let them know my situation, they gave me my member number and contact info to the company I got extended warranty thru, gave this info to shop that was doing repairs, they denid claim, I called them to ask why, they said they do not cover batterys, I explained it was not the battery it was the battery light that came on the dash, letting me know something was not right, shop had diagnois alternator.

They explained they would look into it, 5 days later they had made decision to pay for it, this is when I need to review the policy. As soon as i got home I looked over the policy, it was not even close to what was told to me over the phone. I called to complain and asked to speak to my sales person, eron, Manager explained he had been let go. After speaking with some other person in customer service , they reassured me that it was a good warranty and worth having, they knocked $100.00 off if I decided to keep. Iexplained I would like to here the recorded call with my sales person, I was told as soon as they dug it up they would let me know, 3 months later no call, So I called them back. They explained we thought that I was happy after cutting $100.00 off price. I said I was but still wanted to here tape recording of call, they explained because the person that was my sales person was no longer there, there was nothing they could do about the differences in policy.
I explained that I may want to cancel my warranty if I didnt get to here recording of sales call.

What are my options, Can I sue for the money already paid because they defaulted on a verbal binding contract. Or due they have to honor what was sold to me over the phone.

I had bought an extended warranty contract from Warranty Americas Inc. thru Triple A Warranty, a company in Coral Springs, South Florida for my Toyota Corolla. The warranty contract cost me $2100 which was paid in full on May 21, 2008. The vendor for
this transaction was Dealer Services, Inc. in NJ. I decided to cancel the contract in Oct'08 after dismal experience w.r.t. the services. I tried reaching the service provider,
Warranty Americas, to cancel the policy and get a refund. I was directed to contact the vendor (Dealer Sevices) to do the cancelleation. After numerous phone calls to Triple A Warranty and Dealer Services Inc, I was asked to send the contract documents with a request to cancel the

contract to the office of Dealer Services, Inc.

Upon calling Dealer Services Inc. after sending the documents, I was informed that the contract was cancelled on January 02, 2009 and I would receive a refund in 30-90 days. No refund is received till date. Triple A Warranty phone # 866-945-9255 (mentioned on the contract documents sent to me in an e-mail by Paul B/ Paul D) is now a

number for Frontier Airline. No one from the company answers any communication. The vendor Dealer Services denied a refund stating that Triple A Warranty should pay me the refund amount.

I have written letters to Triple A Warranty Inc., Dealer Services Inc. and Warranty Americas about the refund and also tried reaching them via phone and e-mail multiple times without any success.

I tried registering my case with BBB of South Florida as Triple A Warranty did not respond to any of my
communication since Oct'08. I tried communicating via phone calls and letters to both

Triple A Warranty and Dealer Srevices, Inc. about the situation. Dealer Srvices has flatly refused to pay a refund and Triple A Warranty does not respond. BBB of South Florida closed the case stating the business did not send any response.

I've been getting cell-phone calls from various phone #'s claiming to be some auto service warranty co.several times per week! When I tell them "not to call anymore",I get another call 2 or 3 days later from a different person and # !Are they selling my # to different companies?..

This organization continually sends correspondence to my mother who is very senior in years advising her automobile warranty is expired and she cannot afford to be without coverage. Most of the correspondence content is scare tactics and they request immediate action. My mother gets very distraught about these continual correspondences thinking that something may go wrong with her car and she will lose her mode of transportation as she will not be able to fix her car.

I signed up with a warranty with this company because I received a notice that my warranty was going to expire. When I signed up with them, I realized with my bank that I already have an extended warranty that I'm already paying for on a monthly basis. I tried call back Dealership Warranties to cancel this transaction, but after 30 minutes I received the run around. They already charged $395 to my bank and expect to receive $208 monthly for 12 months, which I've already closed my banking account to avoid any further transaction.

I'm already paying $300 monthly for my car loan which already includes the extended warranty. By including Dealership Warranties, my monthly payment will go to $500, which I can not afford. I'd like to stay with my current plan with my bank and cancel my transaction with Dealership Warranties, but I don't know how. This has created a financial hardship for me.

I ordered a warranty for my 2003 F350 on Apr 5th. I work 21 days on and 21 days off as a medic on offshore drilling rigs. I returned home on Apr 8th. I had to return to work Apr 29th and had still not received my warranty information. I called in on Apr 29th to cancel because it only came with a 30 day cancellation period I was told in the initial call. I explained that I waited 3wks for the packet to arrive and I still had no information about their warranty and would not be home again til May 20th and would be outside the 30 days so I wanted to cancel. The lady advised that since I hadn't received my information to look over they would extend my cancellation period until I could look it over.

I arrived home on May 20th and took a couple of days with everything else going on and decided their warranty wasn't for me and wasn't what I was verbally told. So, I called in again to cancel and was told I was outside the 30 days. I advised of what the previous lady told me and that it was in my notes and the conversation was recorded. She went to speak to a mgr and returned and advised that If I would fax a letter with specific information on it THAT DAY, they would cancel for a full refund.

I typed the letter and they refused to accept it via email, and I had no fax machine so I emailed it to a friend who faxed it and received a comfirmation letter. I waited about a week for my refund, but instead was billed for another month. I called in again, and was told they never received my letter and it was now outside the 45 days and I could not get a refund. I said how convenient.

Finally Allison said that if I would re fax the letter she would honor the original date and cancel the warranty and issue a refund. I re faxed the letter, twice, and called back to confirm receipt. She did receive the letter and said to wait on my refund. I waited another week and called in to check the status and was informed I would not be receiving the refund because I was outside the 45 days and nothing she could do about it.

I have paid a total of $360 to this warranty company and received nothing from them but lies. Them debiting my acct for $105 in June, upset my balance making it negative, when I was expecting a refund instead!

These are the worst. We have been harassed for months with robo-calls: This is your final warning! Your warranty is about to expire! Etc. With nothing to even identify the vehicle they're calling or writing about!

When we've tried to play the game punch a button to speak to someone," it's a morass or a hangup in our ear when it becomes apparent we're not calling to buy.

Is there some way to get some compensation for the time and heartburn they've caused me? (That's semi-rhetorical; we do believe in the right to privacy, though it seems we're alone in that.) Short of that, how about getting them merely to leave us alone?

We have 14 warranty policies that were to be canceled and the unused portion rebated to us at Capital Finance. It is supposed to take 4 to 6 weeks and it has now been 6 months. The owner of the company says he will not pay! Also I went on the web and there are many complaints against this company. We quit doing business with company because the do not pay claims. We are a Finance company and when we repossess cars we cancel the soft adds such as gap policies and extended warranties to reduce the amount owed by the consumer to the company.

Absolutely cannot get anyone to speak to on the phone. I was put on HOLD for about an hour yesterday; still no person answered the call despite numerous attempts to call back. I have a warranty but need to find out about approval to repair my Jeep.

i got letter telling me that my truck would be covered 100,000 mile by limited list of repairs. at the first, my truck had problem, i looked at list, i dont see any that my truck needed to repair which mean it is not covered but worth of try, that confirmed. but next thing, my 4x4 has problem, i read list what is covered, and it has confirmed that 4x4 shaft clutcth are on list that they are covering that repair, costed me 600 bucks to fix 4x4 shaft clutcth. i was completely shocked to learns that they do not cover that. forced me to pay 600 bucks to repair that problem.

i am completely [upset] that i wasted 2000 bucks for this and not get any coverage. i got ripped off. i got to find a way to recover my money. that is why i now no longer will buy warranty from letter or anywhere. i only buy warranty directly ford or honda or pontiac or gmc or chevrolet or dodge. its only way i would get guarantee warranty coverage. i cant believe i got tricked and made me spend 2000 bucks! how do i get money back? or did i lose money forever?

I cancelled the Extended Warranty contract on my wife's 2006 Saturn VUE at 3:45 pm on May 29, 2009 by calling Lisa at DEALERSHIP SERVICES. However, they continue to automatically deduct monthly payments - to wit: $126.44 on June 2, 2009.

This is the same company that I filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs on June 7, 2009 for a refund of my cancelled extended warranty on my 2005 Toyota Tundra on March 3, 2009 that I have yet to receive. With a failing economy, I need the money. I am a 100% total and permanent disabled military retiree (U.S. Navy SEAL).

What people need is a solution to this problem and I got one. I contacted the attorney generals in both my state and the state of Illinois and lodged a complaint. I also got a whistle and every time they called I blew loud and long at them, which got their attention also. The result, I no longer get their annoying phone calls.

I have been trying to cancel this warranty since Jan.21 2009. I recieved the product on Jan.21 2009 from UPS. I was not expecting nor was I told that I was going to receive a package . I was told I was going to recieve the warranty in the mail. Not a unknown substance. When I had opened the parcel and found out that I had to put this unknown product into my car. I had tried to call the phone number that was in the pamphlet. There was no answer but directed me to an answering machine. I left a message stating that I was returning the package and cancelled my account.

When I got my mastercard statement in the mail a month later money was still coming out. I then called my mastercard and they gave me 2 phone numbers to call. I called the one number and was told I was not in their system and gave me another number to call which was out of service. I then found the number to call and tried to talk with someone there. I talked to a supervisour about this matter and she had agreed with me that I was not informed in detail about the product that was sent to me.

As living in Canada our oil's and such are way different then in the States. If I would of known about the unknown product that was sent to me I would of not agreed to the warranty. I by any means would not put a product into my car and not know anything about it. Since I was not helped in any way as I'm not getting any help now, but a run around. I had to cancel my mastercard.

Today April 20th 2009 I got a call from a Debra and talked to her on this matter. Now she has been the only one that has told me after talking to several people that I had to send in a letter stating I had to cancel by mail. Also the parcel was sent by UPS I had called them to get proper date and time the parcel was delivered to my house. UPS told me I needed a tracking number. I had called Debra back and she said she didn't have a tracking number for me. Nor a phone number to give me that I could call to get the tracking number other then telling me she had to get her supervisour to try and find it.

I want my money sent to me by mail all of it as i'm getting tired of this running around stuff. If I have to take further matters into my hands legally I will. I was mis informed and mis lead on this warranty package. Debra told me I had to wait 2 days to get the tracking number by email from her supervisour. Which I doubt it very much that I'll get and never did get any more information on this issue so I can prove that I got the parcel 3 weeks after the orginal phone call on Dec 31 2008. Cause Debra said the package had to be returned within 30 days from when it was sent.

As living in Canada everything goes through customs. She had told me that the parcel and a cancellation letter had to be sent within 30 days from when it was sent on Dec 31 2008 and not arriving here until Jan.21 2009 so I had returned the unknown parcel the next day and i was told they never received it back. So by the time it was sent my 30 days was up from the time it was sent to me. I have lost $708.67 and i had to cancel my mastercard so they wouldn't take any more money from me. Also my mastercard had tried to solve this for me with no luck.

I was called and told that "Your warranty is about to expire!" Keep in mind my fiance drives a 2000 Ford Explorer. The warranty should have expired years ago. Also that fact that they addressed me as MR. Pearson. My fiance's maiden name is Pearson. Being we are not married it would be astounding odds that we should have the same last name.

Dave had no clue as to the year make or model let alone mileage. He had no constituent facts regarding my fiance's vehicle. He kept pushing that i give him other phone numbers in order to contact my fiance. He stated that there was a "Final Notice" index card sent to my residence.. Which i know to be false. He stated that there is no way to extend this offer other than today. He did however offer his direct number and extension and first name.

We are listed on the DO NOT CALL LIST. This call was unsolicited and entertaining to say the least. I personally can say i know more about car repair that this man or let alone anyone working for AWS (Automotive Warranty Services).

i purchased an extended warranty and recently submitted a claim. the claim is legimate and the company denied it saying there was a pre-existing condition just because i only had the waranty for 36 days. they have no proof or evidence to support their claim. 800 dollars i had to pay for a water pump on my car because my claim was denied

This clear violator clearly is spoofing the caller ID tag, as I have received "return calls" from other consumers in the Gaithersburg, MD area stating I was the culprit. I had received these calls as well, but would hang up. I received two such complaints, and decided I would investigate a little. I kept a log of all calls I received from the number in question, and further communications from "similar" dialers (which I believe originate from the same solicitor), however the same number is seldom seen. I viewed a Wiki that listed technologies used with caller ID, and found call tracing and call traps are useful for this type of reporting. My phone carrier supports these features by pressing *57 or #57 immediately after the call, then dialing an ISP provided toll-free number to pursue further action.

I believe this may be helpful for anyone who is having this problem. Our household is also receiving mailers with a similar formatted message. I don't want to speculate, but everyone I have spoken with regarding this matter has posted a resume on a Careerhelper website. SPAM may also be attributed to this.

I have been getting calls from this company for over a year, have followed required instructions to cancel my number on their call list to no avail. They have burnt up my answering machine twice by calling me not once, not twice, not three times a day but as much as 10 times a day.

I have several calls daily saying that my auto warranty is bout to expire. The prompt says press 2 to be removed from list and press 1 to speak with a rep. I pressed 2 on several occasions. I pressed one last week and Frank was the rep. Today I press 2 and Kara is the rep. I've asked to be removed and when I asked the company the teller did not know who she worked for. When I ask the Phone Number she did not know that either. I asked however did she make it there not knowing where she's going and who to call if she is to be late. I gave every ext. in the building to be taken off the list. I do not want them to call again.

This company continues to contact me on my cell phone to sell my a new warranty for my car. They are costing me minutes and no matter how often I speak to a person and tell them to stop calling me, put me on the do not call list, they continue to call me. I have told them this is harrassment and still they continue calling me from different numbers.

I have tried to get them to stop. IT NEVER stops! PLEASE STOP CALLING! I have not owned a car that needs extended warranty. I saw a warning on local news about the same issue. They said these phone calls have are linked to identity theft. I don't know how true. I just want the calls to STOP! Everyday for months. Disturbance and annoyance at work. Minutes used on my cell for no reason.

They call my cell phone everyday and home phone - I can't get them to stop. I have told them to take me off their Do Not Call List plenty of timeand they don't. Uses Airtime on my cell phone

Despite being on no call lists I keep getting calls from these people. I have complained to them. It says Caller Unknown on the caller ID, so I end up picking up. Their timing is always poor. I need them to stop.

I have received numerous calls from the Auto Warranty with an automated message. I am on the DNC so they have broken 3 laws. First to telemarket with an automated message, second to call someone on the DNC and third, when I opted to be transferred to an agent, they hung up on me.

I receive calls stating my auto warranty is about to expire. I have no warranty on my vehicle.

I am receiving calls on my cell phone with a recorded voice telling me my auto warranty is about to expire, this is your last chance, things like that. I've always hung up, but today I got the call on my work number. My daughter has gotten the calls on her cell, and she's 13.

Today I pressed 1 to see what I could learn. I spoke with Jennifer, who immediately wanted the make and model of my car, before allowing me to speak. I asked the company name, she said "Warranty Services". I asked for a number to contact a manager, she said the system is not set up for incoming calls. I said I wanted to speak to someone higher up to get the real company name, her response was in the tone of a collector when she said she'd told me the name of the company. I laughed a little and said no you didn't, she continued speaking over me, I just hung up.

I wish I had written the phone number down. This phone has caller ID, but the stupid thing doesn't have any sort of recall of previous calls. Anyway, there it is, please somebody do something about this scam.

This company continually calls me using several different numbers several times a week regarding the warrenty on my vehicle. I have repeatedly told them not to call, but they continue to do so. the continual harassment needs to be stopped.

I recieve calls from "Warranty Services" several times a day, every day of the week. Of course, the number is blocked, so there's not much I can do! They want to sell me a warranty on a car I don't even have anymore. When I ask to be removed from their phone list, they hang up on me.

When I try to ask who's calling or get any info about the company, they hang up on me. After about 100 calls, I finally acted interested enough in the "warranty" to get some info out of the man on the phone, although he seemed very reluctant. The phone number does ring back to the Warranty Services office in California. It is more than bothersome to get multiple calls a day on your cell phone and not be able to put a stop to them.

This company keeps calling all of our phones including our 4 cell phones multiple times even though we asked them to take us off there call list. All of our phones are on the do not call list, so we should not be getting these calls. When we start asking them questions, they hang up and the number that is left on our caller ID cannot be called because it is not a working number. The number is a number you can call to opt out, but even that does not work. We get these calls multiple times a day and all hours of the day and night. I am just afraid that they are going to scam some poor elderly person that does not know any better, I think an article needs to come out to warn our elderly community on these calls.

For a company that is supposedly insolvent, they repeatedly call my house trying to sell me a warranty. I played their game today and asked about a warranty for a 2000 Toyota Solara with 223k miles. They hung. They call at least twice a day.

The number in caller ID is supposedly disconnected when you try to call it back.

This company has called my cell, work, home, family's phones, business (even the polycom in the lab), work blackberry. They have cost me $$$ by calling my cell phone; cell and home numbers are on the Do not Call Registry.

This is a form of harrssment. When I question the rep that calls the guy (this time Richard) hung up on me. Minutes usage on my cell, issues with my employment because my phone(s) keep ringing in meetings.

For over a week I have been getting calls; sometimes twice a day and always from different numbers. when answered a message played about my warranty being expired. I finally dialed the option to speak with someone and asked who the company was and to be removed from the list. I just did this so I do not know if they will honor my request.

I do not know how they got my number. This was on my mobile number so there were charges for all calls received and for the time I had to hold to ask to be removed from the list. The biggest issue has been the aggravation.

I have received numerous phone calls from this company that my car warrenty was about to expire and this was my second notice or last notice to act on the expiration. If only it were the last call, they keep calling. Today I responded back to the number to find out more information about the company to report this scam.

Getting calls a few times a week saying warranty about to expire on car & I must renew. I DON"T EVEN HAVE a CAR. I'm a student. I pressed 1 to speak to person and asked to be removed 7 said I don't have care so I don''t quite know what they are getting out f this, I doubt any more sales...I'm confused. when I pressed 1 the next time and spoke to "Alan" he hung up on me. Can't someone do something?

Constant harassing phone calls to two cell lines and a land line. After asking to be removed numerous times, being insulted and hung up on, I played along. Gave my name as 'Rachel Ray' and told them my car was a 2005 Mercedes 876XL (no such animal). My bogus name and car were immediately located in the computer and guess what? My manufactures warranty was on the verge of expiring. What cons. After doing exhausting research, I found this number for their office. I have been calling them 4 times to their one and hope that I drive then half as nuts as they have me for the past two years. My advice...have some fun, give them a call, or two.

This Warranty Services just called (via an automatic dial system) into a dedicated telephone line between our BRP emergency ops center and one of our 5 nuclear power plant sites. When connected, I asked who this was, they said (car) Warranty Services, and when I asked where they were located, the guy hung up on me. Warranty Services tied up an vital emergency telephone line for a randone auto-dial tele-marketing car.

Constante Telemarketing-Even after followin the instruction to be place on no Call List-All Phones in my Name included all Cellular

they have called my cell phone every day for over 1 month

This automotive warrenty company continuously calls my minor son on his cell phone to sell him an extended warrenty though he does not own a vehicle. He has on multiple occations asked them to stop calling, which they always verbally agree to do so. I asked him to get me the next time they called so I could talk to them.

I asked for the company name and the name of the person calling me. He stated the name of his company is "Warranty Services" and that his name is "J. Morrison", neither of which I could confirm. When I requested to speak to his supervisor he rudely stated "No" and hung up. They also regularly leave messages on my office voice mail. The most recent call came in on Tuesday, May 5 2009 at 3:19 p.m. EDT. These calls are harassing and needlessly upsets my son. It is my understanding that it is illegal to cold call cell phones. These calls consume our cell phone minutes.

I signed up for the car warranty with the verbal agreement that I could cancel my policy within 30 days and receive my deposit back. I did manage to cancel further payments on my American Express card by contacting the finance company with whom these folkd work, but, although I have called, and e mailed the warranty company, and left messages for them to contact me re the return of my deposit, they have not responded, and it has been impossible to get a hold of a live person with whom I might speak. The deposit was $395.00, and I really can't afford to lose that kind of money.

Warranty Services continues to call every single line i have under my name offering extended warranty service. my warranty is NOT about to expire!

i AM on the do not call list! i demand to have this taken care of. i will not be continuously harassed.

Same thing - every day - I get these calls on my personal cell phone, my work cell phone, my home lan line, now my work ext.

A recording comes on saying that my warranty is about to expire on my car and to press 1 to talk to a representative.

I do that and start asking them questions and they hang up. I try calling back the phone number from my cid and it is either invalid or too many digits or not enough digits or busy.

These Call have got to STOP!!!

repeated calls, even though I am on the No Call List. Demand for my name.

I have received calls for over a year on my CELL PHONE as well as my husband on a car we do not own. We have pressed the number asking for no calls in the future, still they come. Finally we have tried to talk to rep.'s and they automatically hang up on us when we ask for no return calls. Still they continue to call. I will be reporting this continual violation to the Federal Communications Commission. My number for one is a cell, for two it is on a do not call list, and three I have made numerous attempts to cease the calls. {Their] business practices used in telecommunications are highly unethical, and against the law.

I have been getting the same phone call for months now--2 to 3 times a week. Each time telling me that my car warranty is about expire. I don't have any car warranties and I am on the Do Not Call list. It says if I push 2 my name will be removed from the list, so I push 2 but it doesn't work I get another call within a day or two.

So, the last time they called 4/30/09 I decided to play along with them so I could figure out who these people were. After giving them information (bogus) we got down to the point that they wanted me to send them $2090. When I questioned them about sending money to someone I didn't know, the person became irate and told me I had wasted his time. I shared with him that he had done the same thing to me by calling me over and over and not removing my name as I had requested. Then he told me to "go to [expletive] hell" and hung up. I was shocked at the language.

In the past 2 years I have received dozens of calls from this company harassing me for renewing an auto-warranty. They called me at home and on my cell most of the time until last week they managed to call me at work. I had it. I finally answered the call to talk to a rep. who told me the name of the company and when I asked to talk to her boss she refused to pass the call and just told me they would put me on a no-call list but I still think it's [lies] and they will call again.

This company needs to be stopped. Their marketing practice is way too aggressive and they are not held accountable for the harassment they cause. Usually when they call I just get a non-descript 1800 # but when they called at work, that number showed up: 603--.

I am constantly getting calls from this company even though my auto is not under any warranty whatsoever. I am on the do not call list, so I should not be receiving these types of calls. I have listened to the taped message and pressed the appropriate number to stop receiving their message, but the calls continue

The are calling me serveral times a day from different numbers. How do I put a stop to it when I call back and ask details they hang up? It told them to put me on the do not call list and they just call from a different number. Annoying and I have to pay for the calls to my cell.

As everyone else, I've been getting the calls and pushing 2 to stop them with no result. I pushed 1. This is pure telemarketing violating the "Do not Call" rules. They have no idea on what car(s) you own. That's why they want your VIN. The VIN then tells them everything they need (year, make, model, etc). I could not get a phone number, supervisor, or even an address. And like others, she hung up on me. Should we go to the FTC?

My wife is disabled and very ill to the point that i need to be accessable to her in case of emergency. We got a cell phone that only i would have the number, so while at work she could reach me without delay. I've dealt with the letters first, then the calling my home phone at any hour now they are calling on my cell phone, texting, voice. This is using so much of the limited time i have and has made me a nervous reck. I know the government is aware of this expensive harrassment (at lease in my case), they use different No. that can't be called back on, if you listen to the eroneous information and dial 9 to opt out you may get a call from them within the hour i did.

called my cell phone unsolicited. man would not identify himself. I asked for their number so I could call back because it was unidentified on my caller id and he would not give it. He said he was from warranty services. According to Washington State Telecommunications laws, they owe me $500 for an unsolicited phone call.

I have recieved a call from them on my work number, my cellphone, my daughter's cellphone (she's 14), and my husband has alos received calls. My other daughter has a trak phione and has recieved phone calls.
The call starts out like a recorded message and in a stern voice informs that your warranty is about to expire and this is the second call. Sounds like a bill collector at first.
I had my number on a no call list I thought.

At first I thought it was legit until I realized it wasn't my warranty company and my children were getting calls. I am not recieveing other cold sale calls.

This company continues to call my cell phone to tell me that my vehicle Warranty has expired. They do not hold my warranty, and it has not expired. They are wasting my cell phone minutes. This is a SCAM

This company has automated calls that I receive about every day or two expressing that this is my last notice before my vehicle warranty expires. press 1 to speak to a representative and 2 to be removed from the call list. Yeah right! I've pressed 2 about 10 times now and keep getting these calls. Finally I pressed 1 to speak to somebody. The first person hung up on me as soon as I started explaining that supposedly being placed on their do not call list isn't working. The next time, the guy indicated that he would remove me from the list. Then the next time after that, the guy indicated that I should contact my cell phone provider and have the number blocked. Umm, no you need to adhere to the anti-trust / privacy laws and stop harassing people when they ask you to! Here's the catch, it's the same company but they call using different numbers.

I know because I've stored there number in my phone as "warranty harassment" and now I have about 3 different numbers stored. Same message / pitch, same instructions, same scam company that won't take me off their call list. So what can I do now, how can this type of company legally exist and continue to harass inocent people without some sort of repurcussion? The only thing that I've been able to get out of them is that there name is supposedly "Warranty Services" and they are located in Sacramento, California. They say no supervisor is present whenever I ask to speak to one and they indicate that they do not have a direct number to call because they are an "outgoing only" business.

i keep getting calls from warranties services. it very frustrating to go through all the protocol's to get my number removed and still get phone calls from them.they call at least four to five times a week! i went as far as to ask them which car they are calling on, they just hang up on me.and the hanging up thing really gets me angry! they always hang up whenever i try to get infromation on the company. what can i do?

Repeat calls from this company, multiple times a day on landline and cell phone (they leave voice mails, using my minutes). They claim they got my information from Chevrolet, although they didn't have any information at all (as they had to ask my name and make/model; I'm now in their system as Bradley Pitt with a 2001 Chevy Corvette, and they didn't blink an eye). Wanted $2600 for a 100,000 extended warranty, payable by credit card or through financing.

The number on the caller ID changes constantly, and some track back to dead exchanges, so their PBX box is programmed to disguise their origin. The only way I got the name of the company was to pretend to be interested in the product until I got a salesperson, then continued to pretend to be interested until I was able to ask, "Is this warrantee through Chevy?" and got the response of whom the warrantee would be through.

They call my cell phone, my wife's cell phone, and our home phone several times a day. The home phone is on the Do Not Call list. They have been told that my wife has not car and not to call again. I told them to not call again, but reading other complaints, they probably won't stop. Annoying to be interrupted so much. Calls on the cell phones cost me minutes unnecessarily.

This company calls every day about extending my vehicle warranty. They have been calling for months. When I ask them to take us off the calling list, they say rude, offensive things or hang up. They refuse to give me any information about their company. I am on the DO NOT CALL registry. How can I get these calls to stop?

I am not even sure what the correct name is for this company. They leave voice mails; call several times a day; and are now calling on my cell phone. If you try to tell them to stop calling they either hang up or get smart with you. These are harrassing phones calls that come EVERY day! A large number of my friends are harrassed by these people also.

I, of course, was the sucker and bought their stupid extended warrenty. After I had paid into it for almost a year my transmission went out and I needed to get it replaced. Low and behold even though the information I received stated I was covered, they wouldn't cover it. There didn't really give me much of an explaination as to why. I was quite disgusted and decided to cancel the stupid thing and the sales man tried to tell me how great their service was and how I should really keep it, ya right I said. Well, he never actually closed out my account so the next month rolled by and the 200.00 was taken out of my account.

I called back and was transfered, no lie, 10 time before I finally got a manager. He said I had to wait 10 business days to receive a check in the mail with the money they took out without authorization form me. So I waited and waited and waited, 10 business days went by.

I called on the 14ths business day and spoke to a manager who said it was mailed out that day. I already waited the 10 days I was supposed to for my money and now I have to wait longer because you guys probably screwed up again? I asked to speak to his manager and was told and I quote, "this phone call will not go past me, I am the manager and the check was sent in the mail. excuse me, who are you to tell me who I can and can't talk to? We'll see about that, I said. I called back and received the corporate number and put in a formal complaint in regards to the whole process.

This company continues to call me under different phon numbers but the gimick is the same. "This is the last wanning your warranty is about to expire" Take option 1 to speak to a rep. I took option 1 and got a person by the name of Mike. He asked what Make and model. I asked him what is the companys name again. He immediatly hung up. I called the number and all it gives is the option to remove your number. That does not work. They wait a few weeks and call you again. I have been called by this company at least 10 times on my cell phone.

This company calls me over and over on my cell phone offering to extend my car warranty. Sometimes they call every hour. When I get through to talk to a rep and tell them to remove my name from their list, they immediately hang up. Sometimes they call so often, I just have to turn off my cell phone.

I started receiving these calls shortly after I had my vehicle serviced at a Mercury dealer using my cell phone as my home phone number. This is a supposed company, trying to sell an extended warranty for your car. We my car has a over 156K miles on it. After 'talking to his supervisor' I was told that Eric could give me an extended warranty for my 13 year old car. Everything sounded fishy. They kept pressuring me into paying a down payment of $395. with payments of $138/month. This is with a '20 discount'. When I was hesitant to signup he asked if the down payment was the problem, I said yes.

He tranferred me to a 'finance manager' who told me to cross out what I had written down for payments. Then he offered me the 'employee price' with a down payment of 1/2 (I guess he thought $195 was half of $295). So with a down payment of $195 and monthly payments of $91.37 for 2 years I would have a 5 year 100,000 mile warranty. It still sounded fishy so I asked if I could have a phone number and call them back. They said they won't do that.

I need to make a decision before hanging up the phone. I said I wanted to research their 'company' and he said I would have to keep him on the phone. So I did and I found a lot of complaints about this place.

These people have been calling my house & cell phone going on 3 years now. They must have recieved my information from Dodge or Mitsubishi. They will not tell me where they are but I have seen New Jersey on some of the caller ID's. I have probably asked them & pushed the numbers to have me removed from their list 20 or more times.

I am receiving this call daily from this #. telling me its my last day of warranty for my car. I have a brand new car not affiliated with this call at all. when i get to a representative and tell them to stop calling they hang up immediately. i have gone thru the prompts they offer to discontinue this service and to no avail i am receiving this call daily. if i just hang up they call later until i pick up. i have no further information as to who these people are beside this telephone #

I was callecd toay by J. Conte, who was representing Warranty Administration, located in Brick, N.J. Ms. Conte had access to my vehicular VIN number, my name, address, and unlisted phone number. She proceeded to tell my about an extended warranty for my vehicle, which sounded pretty darn good. Too good. She stated that her company was affiliated with Ford Motor Company, and then started to pressure me for a credit card number or a check number over the phone. She wouldn't give me a call back so I would have time to talk it over with my wife.

I initially relented and provided the information. After hanging up, my suspicions woul not go away. I called Ford Motor Company Warranty Division in Michigan and informed them of the situation and the "deal". The Ford representative very congenially informed me that they had absolutely no affiliation with Warranty Administration. Additionally, FMC does not offer such warranty extensions, an does not make blind calls. The FMC Rep also stated that they do not give out customer information, but owner information is available through the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. (Nice, eh- governmental organizations are giving private information to for-profit scammers)

I called Warranty Aministration and told them of my findings. I told them that they were to cancel any transactions, and if one appeared on my CC statement, they would be hearing from my lawyer. They initially were defensive, then Ms. Conte became hostile and stated that she "was not going to be abused", and slammed down the phone.

I also called my CC company to warn them about the scam and any impening charges which would be challenged.

These people have been harassing me for over a year now. They call me on my cell phone all hours of the day (and night) without shame. I usually try to ignore, or screen, the calls but it's difficult because they're almost always different numbers. When I actually do end up answering the phone and manage to talk to someone, I always say how they're calling my cell phone (which I never freely give out the number to) and that I've repeatedly asked to be taken off of their call list. And every time, they nonschalantly say "Okay, I've made a note of it," and literally hang up on me.

Sometimes it will be days in between calls but more often they call me several times a day. I am unable to change my number due to work and personal reasons but the fact is, I should not have to. I'm surprised that with so many other people with the exact same complaints, no one has taken legal action. I for one will be looking into it.

Keep receiving calls almost every two three days from this company about car warranty.

I have received over a dozen calls from this company. Every time I ask to speak with a supervisor and every time I am told that the person I am speaking with IS the Shift Supervisor. I tell them that I was told by the last shift supervisor that I would be taken off the call list. This is a private number that I do not give out. After I insist that I speak with their supervisor, they hang up on me.

I get about 2 calls per day on my cell phone and home phone from a car warranty company saying my warranty is about to expire. I do not have a car warranty. They call late at night and early in the morning. They also call my 12 and 14 year old sons. All I have from them is the phone number provided. This has been going on for months.

It is harressment and they are costing me minutes on our cell phones

I purchased a 2000 honda oddessey from autoland on 2-7-09 i also purchased a warranty. i recieved the on warranty kit by mail on 2-20-09. my vans engine light came on and started having trouble shifting on 3-5-09. So whenn i went to the dealer to make my payment i informed him of the problem he told me to call the warranty co. so i came home read my warranty info. and watched the dvd theyd sent me and it says take the vehicle to any certified facility and give them the warranty info and theyll take it from there.

So i had called Aamaco because i knew it was a transmission problem and they came and towed my van in. on the same day ammaco told me it is definately the transmission but when they told the warranty co. they ordered them to do a breakdown to see exactly which component co. so aamaco did the breakdown and found out it was the torque converter (the first component listed in the transmisson sect.of being covered) then aamaco notified me to let me know a claims adjusteer had been out and they denied my claim.

So i called them to ask why and they said due to the fact that the torque wasnt broken it was worn and for me to refer to the terms and conditions of my warranty. I am really having a hard time with this due to the fact that i called ammaco to ask them how can you tell if the torque converter is worn or broken and they said not by looking at it that part has to be taking apart and the only time they do that is when they go to rebuild a transmission so how could the adjuster know? Not only that but my warranty is good for 3000 miles and i only put less 900 miles on the car id only had it for less than 30 days before it started giving me problems.

due to not having any transportation i havent been able to pick up the kids that i care for before and after school.

They keep calling and I have followed the prompts to get off the list and they just keep calling. Today 4-17-09 they called my cell again so I waited for a live person when she answered so I asked for the company name and she told me it was Warrenty Services when I asked for her number she just said we will take me off the list and hung up. I dont understand how these people get away with this type of harassment they call my home and all my familys cell phones Thank You

It cost me every time they call because I run my own business so I have to answer my phone even if it shows a blocked #

I had been called by the same company in my cell phone which I only use when called by relatives for emergency reasons. Each of these calls happened while I was at work and sometimes during crucial meetings. I have repeatedly urged this company not to call my phone again but to no avail. This harrassment is totally a violation of my privacy and endangers my work status. I see the long list of complains on this site but where can we find the solution being contemplated or being taken? I hope this is not an aggravation of an already distressful situation.

I have received hundreds of calls over the last year to extend my car warranty. I have repeatedly asked to be taken off their call list. I have caller I.D. and the calls come from all over the country. I have no idea how to make these calls stop.

I have a child with cerebral palsy that takes all of my time. It is complete harassment to have the phone ring sometimes 3-4 times a day from these people calling to ask me to extend my car warranty.

I was contacted via my cell (a number that I don't give out, since I only use it for emergencies) by a company that gave me the impression it was Honda Canada, since I own a Honda CRV, offering an extension on the warranty(ies) I own. Since I am unemployed, and my Honda is from 2001, it seemed to make sense (I am not mechanical), and, as usual, it was a pressure--albeit sophisticated--situation, where the benefits portrayed outweighed all the horrible things described that could happen, like my drive train going, etc. All sorts of mechanical problems I couldn't afford, etc.

So the customer rep offered a special rate in Cdn. dollars (I didn't realize at the time this was a US company) if I paid in one flat fee. Thinking it was Honda itself, I gave him my VISA. I called my brother, a long distance trucker, the next day, and discussed this, and he advised me I didn't need the insurance/warranty renewal and to cancel it. So I called back, only to find out that it wasn't Honda Canada at all, and it took almost 20 minutes to reach someone who explained the process for recovering my $2,600+ dollars CDN--which was far more than quoted to me the day before. The lower fee discussed was charged in US $ to my VISA, and translated into the much higher one in CDN--and VISA, when contacted, told me that I had no recourse with them.

I followed the procedure of the letter, sent registered mail and signed for by Warranty Services on March 2, '09. I also returned the bottle of lubricant, or whatever, along with a copy of my prior letter, requesting the cancellation of my services and my money returned to me promptly. That was sent on March 18th, fyi. I was told initially that once my letter was received, it would take a month for a refund check to be processed and mailed to me. It is now April 15th, 2009, and I have yet to hear one peep or receive one plugged nickel from these shysters. I am hoping you can help me recover my funds, since they are needed for future living expenses.

I am currently unemployed, and living on savings and occasional freelance writing projects. The funds I gave them are huge to me, and represent a significant portion of what I can use to live on this year. With the slowdown in the economy, freelance work has not been coming in as much as expected/hoped, and regaining that money is even more critical than before. I consider Warranty Services to be fraudulent in the method of their approach--certainly by omission, if nothing else. I would greatly appreciate your guidance on how to wrest my funds from them. thank you.

I continue to receive phone calls from their call center. I have asked to be put on their do not call list. When I ask for their company contact information the only thing that I can get them to tell me is Warranty Services.

Warranty Services continues to call me. I have followed the prompts to be removed and they still call. When I follow the prompts and talk to an agent they hang up on me. I do not come across as being angry or upset and simply ask them if I can be removed from their call list and they hang up before I finish my sentence.

This is so emotionally distressing I am not sure if I will be able to cope.

Automotive Car Warranty Services They keep calling with threatening sounding presentations that are poppycock and when told they hang up

Unnecessary stress!

I get a phone call 5 times a day from this automobile warrenty company, I don't know the exact name and it's impossible to call them back and find out. Everytime they call me it's from a different number, but I asked them to remove my number from their calling list every time they call but they still haven't taken it off. Even though I spoke to someone who actually told me they would remove my number from their calling list, but I still continue to get the calls. I just want them to stop calling me, but they won't. I would consider it harassment.

They use several phone numbers which are disconnected the next day. They call at all hours on every phone and refuse to give an addre4ss where I can write or email. They are rude to me and demand info about my vehicle. When I tell them they hang up on me.

They have wasted about an hour of minutes on my cell phone.

Starting in april 2008 i began recieving phone calls with a recording saying that my factory warranty was about to expire. I knew immediatly this was a scam because i already have an extended warranty on my used car. i asked to be removed from the calling list... these calls continued until i quit answering any calls i didnt recognize on my home phone. AND then they started on my cell phone. I requested removal again nothing changed. I pressed 1 for a rep, nothing happened. Yesterday i had had it, i tried asking a rep her business name: warranty services is what she told me, then i asked for the company address do you want the warranty or not? she asked with an attitude. I said no i want your company address and phone number so that i can call a lawyer about filing a harrassment suit.

She got irate so i asked for a supervisor, she told me she was removing my number from their list, i told her that was great i still wanted a supervisor. long story short it escalated into a screaming match. I just recieved another call pressed 1 for a rep, when he picked up i said sir i have asked to be removed and now im tracing your number and he hung up.

I have just started saving all of the numbers to my reject list on my cell phone hoping eventually they will run out of numbers to call me from. After posting this i am actually going to call the telephone companies that issued the phone numbers that i have and report abuse. In addition i am about to call at&t and explain to them they calls that i am recieving and find out if i can get a credit for them.

its just annoying.

I too am/was bombarded with calls from relentless unscrupulous boiler-room do whatever it takes sales drones attempting to sell me a worthless extended warranty. They had been calling me at least 2 to 3 times a week on both my cell and home phone numbers. Now it may just be wishful thinking on my part, but I honestly can say that I truely believe that I have seen a marked reduction in the number of calls that I receive from these thieves since I've responded to their calls in one of three ways (only two of which I can post here on a public message board).

When I first started receiving these calls I too pressed Option #1 to speak to a live person in an attempt to opt out from receiving any more calls from these idiots. After being told No, hung up on, and called a few choice names that even made a seasoned gal like me blush, I decided to reach for my 'ol stand-by... a good loud whistle. Then I waited for them to call again and just as regular as the day turns to night call again they did. So each time that I am able to do so (and I realize that there will be times when this response isn't practical... church, library, etc.), I select Option #1 and as soon as a live person answers I blow as loud and as hard as I can then I hang up. Even if there hasn't been a reduction in the number of calls that I am receiving as a result of using my whistle response... It sure feels good!

Continuing harrassing phone calls after being told to remove me from their call list. At most recent call (4/4/09), caller became beligerent, wanting to know why I wouldn't want to purchase this warranty. When I told him that the FTC prohibited their continued calls to me, he asked what the FTC has to do with it. I work for a legitimate telebusiness firm, and the FTC has EVERYTHING to do with it! Fines for continued calls start at $5,000 per occurrence.

General irritation at their flaunting the rules and consequesnces of the FTC Telecommunications Act!

They have called me at least 10 times, my wife about 8, and my son (who doesn't own a car) at least 5. Same story as everyone else: they hang up if you ask any questions. I've reported them to the Attorney General's office here in Hawaii and was told there isn't much we can do, since the calls are automated and there is no contact number or known company location. My wife and I have filed online complaints with the Federal Trade Commission; I suggest everyone do the same.

I keep getting called by a company saying the warranty is expired on my car and offering to extend it. Each time i select option 2 which is supposed to remove me fromthe calling list. After the 2nd time they called today 4/7/09 i selected option 1 to talk with someone. A person who would only give his first name as alan answered and said the company was Warranty Services Center. I asked him to remove me from calling list and he hung up line without saying anything.

They call me at all times waking me up and causing me to perform poorly at work and school.

Scam company that keeps calling cell phone over and over about a car warranty. Can't get them to take me off the list. If you look this number up you will see many complaints. I use pay as you go phone. Each time they call me whether I answer or not it costs me money because they leave a message.

Recieved a call today at lunch asking if i want to extend my warranty. After hanging up on this member he called back from the phone number ...if you call it it is his direct line...let him have it!

About once a month, usually around 5-6pm, my land-line phone would ring with something like Florida Call (it varies). I answer it and a recording greets me with information about my supposed car warranty expiring and that I should press one to speak with a rep. (I don't have any car warranties to worry about) So, I press one to tell them to remove my number from all of their marketing databases and a live person answers and demands my immediate information.

I try to tell them to remove my number and they insist on interrupting me with requests for my information. I ask who they are and how can I get back with them, but all they say is that they are Credit Services. I ask for more information about who they are and they become hostile and will not give me more until I give up some of my information. I try to inform them that they are not exempt from the complying with the Do-Not-Call registry rules, but they claim that they're not selling anything.

I get frequent calls from various locations aroun the nation and I can't know when the caller ID is Credit Services or a legitamate phone call from a friend. So, I have to answer it. This is very frustrating and I feel that there's nothing that I can do. Heightened stress.

For years I have been harassed by constant weekly phone calls from this company claiming that my warranty will expire in only a few days, etc. and this is the last call I'll be getting. They use different phone numbers every time they call. If you try to call any of these numbers back you will get a busy signal, the out of service/disconnected recording, or an option to be removed from their lists. (The last one doesn't work.) When I ask for more information (e.g., name, manager, website address, mailing address, etc. etc. etc. they hang up on me). Please, please, please investigate and shut down this company. Clearly they are a scam.

At least on to two calls per day offering an extended warranty on my vehicle. Person refuses to further identify the company and uses abusive language if I persist in questioning about the calls. I have requested removal from the call list but the calls continue, sometimes late at night.

Calls to my cell phone results in charges to my account for each call. Over $100 so far

I am 16, I have no car, I don't have a license or anything, and they call me about twice a day, and I always hit 2 for them to stop calling me, and they never do. So I decided to talk to a representative, and I tried to ask them to remove my name, but they hung up. then they called back later that day, and I decided to screw with them. for my vin number, I started off going 2b63... then i started going %!@$ and then they hung up on me.

I got a good laugh

they have called my cell phone regarding a car warranty I do not have. I assume they are involved in illegal activity of some sort taking advantage of people. They have called many people as there are numerous complaints on the internet. Aren't there laws to protect people from this A class action lawsuit for scam alerts?

It is not right to let people get away with this type of scam activity

Received auto-dial call on my cell phone. Company offered a five year warranty on my '94 Toyota for $569 per year, but only if I committed to it today while on the phone. While talking, I looked up National Dealer Warranty... saw alerts and told them no. They called back, twice.

No purchase, no harm. Total rip-off if they can make a profit on a 15 yr old car w/ 275K miles on it.

I asked not to be called any more don't want their services. larry said [extremely vulgar comment] then hung up

Received a call from this company and automated message said this is the last warning as my car warranty is about to expire. Since I am on the do not call list and this is the 5th time I have heard from them, I pressed one (1) to get to someone to tell them to stop calling me because I am on the do not call list. Person on other end of line (I believe he said his name was Donovan) became very rude and aggressive, said I was not on do not call list and anyway, he could call if he wanted to. Said I could not talk to a supervisor nor did I have any recourse.

This is very upsetting as I have family that is ill and to have my phone tied up by these people is uncalled for. I understand that mistakes happen and calls get through, but to have numerous calls over the last 2 days, I pressed one (1) to talk to someone and then to be insulted by them. The have to be stopped!

I do not like my phone # out to companies who call and try to sell me warrenties on my car. Thet call at all hours and use up my minutes. I have two phones and they call on both. Other people have told me they have the same problem.

They have called me at least one and sometimes twice a week for the last six months. On one occasion I listened to the end and pressed 1 to end the calls. That didn't work! Yesterday I listened and pressed 2 to speak to someone. I aSked their name and why they continue to call me when I'm on the Do Not Call list. She said she would remove me and hung up on me! What a company! They have annoyed me at dinner time for 6 months and I want it to stop!

They have annoyed me to no end interrupting my naps, my sleep, my dinner, my relaxation!

We have received numerous calls warning us about vehicle warranty about to expire. Once I selected 1 to talk to rep and asked for his phone number, he hung up instantly. We are on the do-not-call-list. I also could not find them on the google to find their phone number. I reported them to do not call anyways. I use Caltrain to commute. Caltrain uses unlisted phone numbers to access their loudspeakers on stations. A few days ago we all heard the vehicle warranty pitch all across the platform. Their calling robot called Caltrain station as well.

I receive weekly calls about getting auto warranty, I dial 1 to speak to a representive to get me off their list. I can only get a first name of the person I'm speaking with. They won't tell me where their office is, a return phone#, employee ID or anything. I have asked at least three different times to be taken off list. They say there's a glitch in the system.

We have recieved calls from these people for so long and so many times a day, I can't count. Today I had my grandsons at the doctor and they called. My mom, who has just went through her 2nd bout of cancer, answered the phone. She asked to please be removed, as I have many times. Also try to do the be removed button. Jaime told her maybe. She asked him what he said, then asked for his full name. He said, I want a stripper at home everynight when I get there too...but it's not going to happen.

This is the utmost annoying, time consuming, rude form of harrassement that I know of. Someone needs to buck up and get this taken care of. If I want a service of any type...I will call. So let's end this for all the people. Please take whatever steps necessary to handle this out of control situation once and for all. Thanks

Time consuming Annoying Waste of my time

Recording calling several times each day warning that the warranty on our vehicle is about to expire. The recording varies occasionally stating that this is our second or final warning but they keep calling back. We have pressed their option to opt out but the calls continue.

This is a business and the harrassing calls interrupt the work flo.

Repeated phone calls. They rotate phone numbers and area codes Asked to be removed. Said okay. Asked a second time, got hung up on. Third time, I raised my voice and Tracy lectured me on not needing to talk to a lady like that, and hung up on me.

I was so torqued off I broke my cell phone.

For months now I have been receiving calls on my home/business phone and my cell phone, which I also use for personal and business calls, from this company. They use many different phone numbers that come up on the caller ID. When I answer, I get the same recorded message. I tried to stop the calls by pressing the number stated to remove my name. That didn't do anything. I then started pressing the #1 to be connected to an individual. When I request that I be removed from their company lists, I have received vicious attitudes from these people. Before they hang up on me, I have been called horrible names and I have also had profanity yelled at me. So far today I have received two calls from this company, both different numbers.

The second time I hit #1 and asked the man who answered who this company was. He gave me the name, but then wanted personal information from me. I told him that he better not hang up on me, as I had told many before, that I wanted my name immediately and permanently removed from their company information. He said he had taken care of it. I asked for his name and he said it was Allen Morgan. I demanded an address and working telephone number. He refused to give me either. I then demanded that he transfer me to a supervisor. He said that no one from the company was allowed to give out any information about the company.

I again demanded that I speak to someone that would give me information, and he said he would have to have personal information from me before he could transfer the call. We went back and forth about this as I continued to tell him that I did not provide personal information over the phone. He said that in order for me to speak to a supervisor, that I would need to give him personal information about me and my vehicle in order to justify the transfer. Then he started asking me questions as if nothing was wrong here. I realized that I was wasting my own time with this jerk. I hung up on him. But this company still wins in the end. Now this company is also calling my mother's and my son's cell phone. I should have been keeping a log of these calls from the first. I didn't, but I have since started a log stating date/time called, my actions, and their reactions.

I am so tired of dealing with these calls both on the home phone and my cell phone. I have to answer the calls if I don't recognize the number first, as I could potentially lose business income. And actually I have when I incorrectly thought incoming numbers were from this same company. By the time I went back to erase their message on the voice mail, I found that it was individuals seeking my business. By the time I got back to them they had moved on to another company. The stress is getting to me as it is continuos and ongoing.

This company has been bombing my phone with their automated dialer since the first day I landed back in the US from Iraq - roughly 3 weeks ago. I spoke to Sophie this most recent time - and she told me that they use this website for their Do Not Call list but that most of their customers complain (as i did) that repeated requests to be removed have fallen on deaf ears. She also explained that I could not speak to her supervisor (Tom) because that's not how we do things. She claimed the company's full name was Warranty services - but after doing a google search and seeing the page listed on this website, I'm sure that we're all talking about the same company. She also claimed they were out of California, which jives with the information I found - but NOT with the Chicago, IL address listed on this website.

This company is an organized harassment machine, which uses an autodialer which spoofs its ID and describes itself as calling from anywhere from DC to LA and everywhere in between. I have filed a complaint with the FCC - but I don't expect much out of them.

I keep getting calls from numerous different numbers along with others I didn't save in my phone from Massachusetts offering extended warranties for my vehicles. I don't have a vehicle registered in my name and have asked to be taken off their lists. This is not working

I get 3-4 calls a day during work hours. This could jeopardize my employment

I have been getting call sin my cell phone several times a week. I have asked to be taken off the list - they hang up. I ask to speak to a manger - they hang up. I ask for information like the company name - they hang up. Today I asked for their location - the operator told me Antartica. When I was slo answerin his questions- he hung up.

These calls are wasting time and money on my cell phone. I run my own busienss and am wsting valuable time and resource answering calls and trying to get taken off the list. The oerpator are rude and obnoxio9us which is upsetting me with every call. CAll happen all hours of the day and night which is maddening since I care for elderly parents. Late phone calls are upsetting.

I get phone calls, both at home on two cell phones up to four times a day from this company warning me that my car warranty may have expired. They call from different phone numbers every time. This is harassment. I have pushed 2 to have my number removed probably 50 times to no avail. I have asked for company contact info which they claim not to have. I have asked to be transferred to a supervisor at which point they hang up. I have even sunk as low as to curse at whoever answers when I press 1.

I dealt with this same company for 8 months on my mother's home phone while caring for her due to terminal cancer. They called her phone a few times every day. I explained that my mother was dying and did not need to be bothered by them since her auto warranty was of no importance to her and they STILL did not remove the number. The calls ceased only when she passed away and we cancelled her telephone service. Now, they are calling me. This is harassment and they should be stopped. What can I do?

Called us again today after being told to remove me from their list the past 8 times they have called, today the guy THREATENED TO KILL ME, THREATENED TO RAPE MY MOTHER, THREATENED TO [lewd acts], these people are out of control.

I am in fear for my life

NEW CAR WARRANTY SCAM: This company has called my home phone, my cell phone 2-3 times a day. Each time is it a different person. There is a recording that answers. They call at all hours of the day and evening. They are ruthless. This is a scam. I don't have a new car. The warranty place for new cars told me they don't use this kind of business. Trying to PHISh for personal info. The numbers are fake they don't work. When you call and get one it takes you to a recording. It is horrible. Why can't someone do something about it?

I have been called at least three times a day, they said my car warranty has expired, I told them I want to OPT OUT,, STOP calling me,, but they keep calling! I would ask them what is the name & addresse of the company and they would HANG UP! they expect me to give them $1000 over the PHONE and pay them $2600 for the new car warranty?

they are disrupting my Job and I am going thur a bankrupcy right now!

I am getting 2-3 calls a DAY at my work stating that the factory warrantee on my vehicle is expiring and that this is the last time they will place this call. It has now been over 4 months of these calls. When I press 0 to speak to a representative to stop these calls, I get a person and then when I try to say that I need to be removed from their lists, they hang up. It is coming from area codes 616, 954, etc. Please make these stop.

I am losing time at work having to constantly take these calls. Please make them stop.

I get 3 calls a day offering me an extended warranty on my car. I've tried to say no but the just talk right over me and send me to an automated system. I am being terrorized by these con artists and there's no way to stop them. I've tried calling the number but it doesn't exist. HELP! Is this legal?

Daily harrassing calls sometimes more than 2 times a day. A recording says their records show its my last chance to extend my warranty. Press 1 to speak to a rep or 2 to be removed. I've press 2 numerous times but still get calls every day. I've pressed 1, given bogus vehile info such as my vehicle is a 42 Studebaker, 57 Edsel, 65 chevy biscuayne. They say they can't do a warranty on that old of a vehicle, I say so quit calling me. They hang up. Sometimes they ask if I currently have a waranty, I say no, they hang up. Sometimes ask to speak to their manager, they hang up. I ask to be removed from their list, they hang up. My caller ID shows Cell Phone NV, I can't remember the number but I've tried calling it and its not a real number.

I'm sick of this. This is harrassment and I want to find out who they are and sue them. I'd like to make them eat their phone. I've already filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection. I encourage everyone to file a complaint. The more complaints they get, the more they'll get tired of getting them and maybe they'll actually do something about it.

This is constant rude and annoying harrassment. I work from home and the interruptions are extremely disruptive and I want it to stop.

I continually get calls from this company on my home number and cell number. They say that my car warranty is ready to expire. I have pressed 2 several times to get off the list. They keep calling. I pressed 1 to talk with a real person. Got one but he refused to give me the company address and hung up when I asked to be taken off the list. I am on the do not call list but that doesn't seem to matter to this company.

These calls interrupt me at work and take valuable time away from my job. They call me at home and disturb my family life.

On 6/1/05 I paid $1,599 for a worry free warrenty 84months/100,000 miles for my 2004 GMC Envoy and now have had some problems and can not contact anyone to file a claim. I did not know they had already filed for bankruptcy but still accepted my money

Everything that's been said here is true. You ask to speak to a manager they hang up, you ask to be taken off the list it doesn't happen, you try and call back and the number doesn't work. I'm getting 5-6 calls a week from these idiots. It is federal violation to make unwanted calls to a mobile phone. There's no reason for a do not call list for cell phones, it's against the law already. Check the FCC site. I agree this definitely harassment.

warranty services are calling our emergency hotline 4-10 times daily. and they have not stopped even after many attempts to have them cease. They have also called our in-truck cell phones simultaniously, causing service interuptions to our response teams.

I have received numerous calls from this company about re-activating the warranty on my vehicle over the past several months, I am always told this will be my final notice on the message. I have used the automated system to be removed from the list many times, and have spoken to Telesales reps many times and asked to be removed form their list (they hang up immediately and are very rude and unprofessional).

I received a call today, and asked where the company was based, and I was told by the telesales rep it was Miami, FL. I asked if I could speak to someone at the Headquarters to complain about getting these calls. The Telesales rep hung up immediately. I tried to google the company and found nothing Presently I am getting 2-4 calls per week from different area codes, and I am at the point now where I consider this harrassment. I noticed many complaints on the web site about this very issue. There has to be a way to stop these calls.

I am a sales person, and I work with people from all over the USA. When my cell phone rings I need to answer even if I do not recognize the phone number on my caller ID. The calls are very disruptive, and come at all hours of the day, and sometimes the evening. It also takes up cell phone minutes for every call.

these people call my home number and all 5 lines on my family cell phone since the phones are in my name every day this has been happening from last year. Everyday they call they change their numbers. They keep telling me that my car warranty is going to expire and the funny thing about this is I don't even know how to drive yet alone have a vehicle. It usually comes in the form of a recording then if I need to talk to someone I have to press 1 to talk to someone and when I do to get to the bottom of this they need personal info.

I am now relief that most of the public have reported them, because they are a big fraud. I saw it on the news on Friday 20 March on channel 11. I have even gone to the extent of registering my numbers on the government do not call list on friday 20 March. I have also change my home voice mail to say if you are selling something or a telemarketer I am not interested. I really don't know what else to do. Help!

It's very draining now they are calling my cell phones everyday now. I am scared to answer my phone. I hope the authorities stop them soon. Truthfully I am emotionally drain from all of this.

They just keep calling me. I don't even have a permit or a license, much less a car. How could my waaranty on my vehicle be expired. And if they know it's expired why ask me about the make and model. Wouldn't they have that already? When I asked for a manager or supervisor the lady said oh, ****! and hung up. Who are these people? They really need to be stopped.

They have called my personal cell, work cell, home phone and desk phone at work.

Frequent harassing telephone calls claiming that a nonexistent warrantee on one of my cars has expired, I have lost time at work and at home. I have requested being placed on their do not call list, but they still have been calling. Please help us shut them up and find out how they got my cell phone number.

loss of time at work

Keep getting calls from a company to extend my auto warrenty. The cowards keep hanging up on me when I ask them to take me off the calling list 10+ times. company is breaking fedral regulations will go down!

hang up on people. are cowards.

My family has been harrassed on 4 different phone # by this company re: vehicle warranty expiration. After the recording, we have spoken to rep. and demanded removal of our #s. 1 rep. took all #s and agreed to stop. Still receiving calls! When I wait for rep. now & remind them, they hang up.

Cell phone time, harrassment, Apparently, these people are in the business of harrassment...need to be stopped!

Continued calls on cell phone and work phone. I see many others with same issue when I started to ask about being removed from list he hung up and trying to redial the number shows disconnected. What can we do to shut this company down? This is harassment. Who can help?

They are offering extended warranty. When asked where they got my cell phone number from they did not tell me. They also gave me a number 1-860 and this person claims they are not associated with Warranty Services. Inc. The 1-818 number appeared on my caller id. when i called it, I was given a chance to opt out.

They repeatedly call our cell phones and when ask to stop hang up on us. We are being charged for these calls about once a week.

I am getting calls from Warranty Services which I see from your complaints that this has been going on for years of complaints from this company...why isn't Consumer Affairs doing anything to stop them?

Repeated calls first I ask to be removed from list told done. Next call I ask which car they are calling about and ask where they got the my personal information? They refuse to answer and just want to ask questions. Next call I tell them I was suppose to be removed from the call list and ask to speak to someone who can explain why I was not.

Next call I pretend to be interested and want more info about their company I get told that if I answer some questions I will then be put into direct communication with a company representative. I ask for company name before I give out information and am told that I will be removed from the list and the representative hangs up. How do we get this harrassing kind calls to stop? The Phone company seems to be in colusion with this client as they have set them up with a switch that just rings to an auto response number that does not remove the number from the data base.

The list is very long on the web site It appears that since I did not fall for this deceptive practice nothing will be done?

It's very simple... I get calls from these people ALL THE TIME on ALL MY NUMBERS that are ALL registered with DNC mulitple times in multiple ways. They will not remove my number and I have tried using their Options for stopping the calls. They never stop!

Bottom line, its just plain harrasment. Eats up my cell minutes and interupts me all the time multiple times a week at work and home.

In early March I received a solicitation in the mail indicating that my factory warranty on my vehicle was nearing it's expiration. I figured this to be a bogus solicitation because my vehice is nearly 10 years old and I purchsed it used. That purchase included an extended warratny through the dealership from where I purchased the vehicle.

On March 18th I received a call to my cell phone from a recorded message indicating that my warranty was about to expire and that I needed to take action. The recoreded mesasge indicated that this would be my last notification. I pressed the option to speak with a reprsentative in order to inform them to remove me from thir database. As I spoke to the representative, prior to her being able to solicit any information from me, she acted as though she could not hear me and terminated the call.

This company has been calling my cell phone over a five month period. After the second week, I requested they remove me from their call list. I have requested them to remove me a minimum of 15 times, yet they still call. I get a call from them at least 3 times a week. If I ask to speak with a supervisor, they say they will remove my number and hang up. Inevitably, I still get calls from them. They are rude and will not let a person reasonably let them know how frustrating the continued calls are. Instead, they refuse to let one speak to a supervisor and hang up. An additional frustration is that they call from a variety of numbers making it difficult to just ignore or silence the call. I did find an address for them on the internet listed under a consumer complaint website which is provided above.

There have been no economic consequences of these call, but they certainly stress a person out when trying to be reasonable and let them know not to call. Today I received a call from Willis from Warranty Services, Inc who was rude and hung up when I asked to speak to a supervisor. Literally, I hadn't even set the phone down when I received another call from Latrice with them. Numerous calls a week from them make me not want to answer my phone. On many occasions, I have just turned my phone off because I've received two or three calls from them in one day. This is ridiculous and something needs to be done to keep these people from bombarding people with phone calls.

Calls time and time again all times of day or night tell them not to call again and they call back the next day. I finally got a correct phone nimber. Call them and harrass them just like they harrass us.

They've called my cellphone several times trying to scam me into an auto warranty. I've no previous dealings with them and have never otherwise authorized them calling my cellphone. If they call again, I will be speaking to my state Attorney General and possibly persuing small claims against them.

This telemarketing company has called me everyday for the past month. I used to hang up on them, but they kept calling back and waking my baby up from his nap. The message says that you can push 2 to be removed from the list. I did so, but they still call back. I've started pressing 1 to speak to someone, but as soon as I ask to be removed from their list, they hang up on me.

I asked for their names, and I talked to a girl named Ashly who said that she could take me off the list as long as I gave her the year, make and model of my car. I refused to do so saying that it didn't matter since I wasn't interested. She insisted that the system wouldn't let me out unless I gave her that info. When I asked to speak to her manager she said, I'm hanging up now. They called back today, and I spoke to someone named Chris who said that he works for Warranty Service Center and I asked him to take me off the list and he hung up on me again.

These calls are interfering with my work. (I work from home.) They also wake up and upset my baby.

This company continues to call my home phone and tell me that my auto warranty is past due! These people are calling me illigaly and will not stop. When actually spoke with DAVID, I asked to be removed from the calling list and he hung up on me! Can someone help me get these loser off my phone?

I have been receiving these calls for a long time now. The last time I spoke with them I asked them to take my numbers off their list. He supposedly took my two numbers down and put it on the do not call list. However, I just received another call. This time I asked the representative what company this was. She said, Warranty Services and then hung up on me. Very disturbing, irritating and annoying.

I usually get a automated call from different numbers from a company that identifies itself as Warranty Services. The message says that the factory warranty is about to expire and so on.. I am registered on Do not call list and I have specifically asked the representatives who answered my call to ramove my number from the list. All of them confirmed that my number will be removed from their list but I still keep reveiving these annoying calls.

Economic damages are precious cell phone minutes that get used up because of the calls.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone that my vehicle warranty is about to expire and before when I call the number back it is no longer in service or disconnected 2 min later? finally I got a guy that gave me a number and called the company federal auto insurance I know this is a scam I have told them many many times not to call me and they still do. I thought that it i illegal to call cell phones for telemarketers any way why is nothing done about this.

I want what ever the law is to be thrown at them. what ever it takes for them to never call anyone again to make it sound like a warrenty is going to expire or any other lies!

These people have called 7 times. # times I told them to put me on their DO NOT call list. I have chosen option on the robot call to do not any more. If I choose to speak with someone and tried to get their address or info they hang up on me. How can I charge them $1000 FOR HARRASSMENT, if I DON'T HAVE AN ADDRESS. I TRY TO CALL NUMBER BACK AND IT IS NOT A VALID NUMBER. The caller ID is a lie. can't someone stop this harrassment. i have been called everyday for the last 3 days!

They have called me incessantly despite my asking them to stop calling. Every day, at inappropriate times, sometimes two or three times a day. I have HAD it!!!

I stop what I'm doing to answer the phone or they wake me up. They pretend to be a recording sometimes when they are live, whatever it takes. They are now harassing me.

For several months now I have been called, on and off, sometimes 3 or more times daily by Warranty Services. There are times that I am having a scheduled consultation that I pay for with my homeopathic M.D., which requires my concentration and continuity, and if I do not answer this company's call they just keep on calling and calling. Even if I try to answer just to stop the beeping on my caller ID, I am not able to do it quickly enough. I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which makes it difficult enoughfor me just to deal with one thing at a time.

When I first started getting these calls I called back, and the person who answered was very nasty and intimidating. I asked why they were calling me if I do not even have a car, and he just hung up on me. I am a young person on Social Security Disability and have not even driven a car for about 15 years. I need to use my time with the homeopath on the phone wisely, as I pay by the amount of time used. The Dr. calls me at my appt. time, so I cannot dial *70 to prevent the non-stop call waiting beep tone. Medicare and Medicaid will not pay for these consultations, and homeopathic medicine is the ony thing that has been keeping me alive. I struggle all year to save enough money for these appts.

Also, I am on the Do Not Call List, and frankly, they are the only company that calls me. When I tried to get their address by calling 411, I found out that they are not listed. It seems like the company is a crew of people who truly get off on being sadistic bullies just because they can, because nobody sees them--how cowardly--they can't even think of a way to make money that benefits society. This is the problem with the abuse of democracy in our country, and it includes the reason for its recent downfall. Do we need a dictatorship or Communism to make people grow up?

Increased symptoms of my illness, including confusion, anxiety, depression, fatigue, inability to take care of myself, financial loss.

This companied has called me on my cell phone repeatedly and has called my minor son's cell phone repeatedly. If I try to ask for information such as what state they are in they hang up on me. Every time they call I ask them not to call again. They continue to call. I have no idea where they got our cell phone numbers, they are not listed.

The only damage is my cell phone ringing at work and the use of our minutes. My son has a prepaid telephone and so minutes are used when they call. I am not looking for money here, I want this company stopped.

My phone number has been in the do not call registry since dnc was created. A few telemarketers like this one call anyway. These guys are very annoying because they call everyday. I have asked them for their phone number and other information each time they call, however they just hang up. The only thing I know to do is file a complaint with the do not call registry like others are doing. They will eventually pay the piper.

time ... a little anger about it.

Called my cell phone even though its on the do not call list. Refused to say who he was or anything other than This is the warranty service center

annoyed

Unsolicited call saying that my vehicle warranty was to expire. When I asked if he was from Ford. He said they work for all manufactures. I pressed him for the location that he was calling from and he said that they had call centers all over the country. I ask for their call back number and office location and he said I was asking way too many questions and hung up. Clear scam

Waste of time

I keep getting phone messages on my cell and home phone that my warranty is expiring on my car. (My car is 13 yrs old with 260k miles)The auto recording never leaves a return number. My number is completely un-published so I don't know how they would have gotten it, much less my cell#. Their call is always busy when you call back. On the half-dozen occasions when I've been home and answered their call, they agreed to remove my numbers from their system but the calls just keep coming in anyway. Several times they hung up when I asked for a supervisor.

The calls to my cell are wasting expensive minutes and to my home wasting recording time on my answering machine.

This company calls people on an endless basis intimidating them by saying things like last chance to renew your warranty .... when I don not even have a car. I have called this company at their 1-800 number (talked with Dylan who pretends to be a supervisor but they all pretend to be supervisors. They usually do not even give their name) but they are adamant they want to enter into a contract and will not let you speak with management. Many people seem to be affected by those calls from what I see on the internet.

Those calls are psychologically and physically disturbing as they are intimidating and suggesting that I may be in trouble if I do not renew or sign a contract with that company. I do not have a car but my wife worries about our regular insurance. Those calls are also creating an economic damage in the sense that calls on my cell phone are charged by the phone company as regular calls. At any rate, those calls are a waste of my time and I want them to stop immediately.

This company continues to harrass me with phone calls, generated by an autodial. What can be done??

I have received cell phone calls. I work for a private phone company and trouble shoot phones and phone calls. As fast as I receive these calls, they have to be on an auto-dialer. I block one number on my cell and another one shows up.

The consequences are that annoying calls do not stop; other calls that are important do not get through, and your cell phone minutes are used.

I work at an auto dealership and I get at LEAST 10 calls a week from this fake warranty company, which proves that they just call anyone and everyone using random numbers. I also get countless customers who call me upset because they think that our dealership is making those calls to them and that their warranty through us is expiring. Today I finally had enough, I answered the phone and it was that recording so I pressed 1 to talk to a representative. When she answered I asked her what the name of their company was and all she would say was Warranty Services, so I then asked where they were located and all she would say was we are located in a regional call center ugh.

Anyway this HAS to be illegal what they are doing, they are stealing from people. The finance guy at our dealership says that the reason these people haven't been shut down yet is because they are untracable. That is a bunch of [lies] to me because if the police really wanted to find these people they could trace it through bank transactions, so that is no excuse. I am just absolutely shocked that these people haven't been shut down yet and it is completely RIDICULOUS.

They are stealing from the public and scamming people

I got this recording telling me my auto warranty is about to expire and that this is my final chance to extend it and that to do so I must press 1, so I did. I pressed one because I am on a DO NOT CALL list and when the male answered, he said, Warranty Services, how may I help you?, and I asked, Yes, the name of your company is Warranty Services?. He said Yes'. i then said, I am on a DO NOT CALL list and would like my name removed from your list. He replied, Okey Dokey, I really don't care. and then hung up.

Have we really become so powerless that we can't even put a stop to prank businesses calling people? There's another one called Credit Services that does the same thing. they are a little more professional about it though. The continuing harassment of these telemarketing companies is a nuisance and an invasion of privacy. It also interrupts important business time that is very costly. Time is priceless and needs to be accounted for.

This 'so called' company called me to tell me my warranty on my car is going to expire (which is true) and said it was time to extend that warranty. I asked them to tell me how they knew that and the make of my car. The woman said my name and hung up! I called back..they answered and hung up! This caller has phoned our home numerous times and we did not answer because the caller ID said WEST PALM BEACH.

today I decided to answer and this is what I got. This has happen to me before when the caller would not answer MY questions re: the car warranty. I don't recall that company name because it happen a few months ago. My concern here is the woman said my name! YOur assistance would be appreciated. I am concerned about my identity and these people should be stopped!

I have caller ID but no number showed up. I pressed one to speak to a rep. I asked him what the company name was he said Warranty Services, I asked him for his phone number and he said we do not have that information. I then told him that I was on the No Call list and if I got another call I was going to contact The Federal Trade Commission. He then said okay and hung up.

Frustration, I get a call at least once a week

I get a jphone call just about every night on my home phone stating they are a warranty car service. All they ask is what kid of car I have. When I ask them for their name, they will not give it or the name of their company. Last night the person called me ( a female) and becasue I asked for her name and company, she called me a b@#$% and hung up. I do not have caller -ID , but my friends at work do, and have also been harrassed by these people. Please make them stop!

I keep receiving calls from warranty service center on my CELL phone I requested to be removed several times and they still keep calling. When I request information on their company they hang up.

This calls are eating up my minutes everytime they call i stay on the phone so i can speak to someone and have my number removed to no avail.

I've received several computer generated calls on each of my 3 phone lines (all of which are registered on the DO NOT CALL registry and have been for years - - I have the confirmations to prove this.) You have to choose an option to get to an operator, who then collects the basics (year, make and model of your vehicle). Funny, they call me repeatedly to tell me this is the second and final opportunity to extend my vehicles warranty since it's about to expire, and they don't even know who I am or what car I drive. HELLO SCAM! - After several attempts at trying to get my numbers removed, I resorted to straight out honesty and asked for the company name and a phone number. They hung up on me.

Today when they called, I played along, acted interested. I asked what the name of the company was and they stated that the warranty was underwritten by Consumer Direct and provided me with a URL. So I said, So you work for CDW? to which I got a plain old NO, and nothing more. I got the pricing information and asked for a number to call back since I'd need to clear it with my husband. BAM! GOTCHA! When I called back, I was able to get the company name and address. Then I checked to see that my number was indeed verified on the DO NOT CALL registry and filed a complaint with them. Now, I'm doing so here.

Can't these people be stopped? This is such a scam and they do NOT respect people's wishes. As I understand it, this is illegal! The last time they called me and hung up, I got on the phone with my phone service provider, and they couldn't do anything to block the number since it was blocked and originated from a call center. They've called 4 times on my home office number and twice on my cell phone. I've asked to be removed from their call list 3 times and been hung up on. Enough already.

Frustration and annoyance.

These people are out of control. When I told him I didn't want to be called any more he just laughed. They just keep calling and harrashing people.

Driving me crazy

constant harassing phone calls won't stop on my cell phone. An obviously fake business and after all the complaints I just saw on the internet its out of control. Don't we have right! These people need stopped. I get calls at least 2 or 3 a day from different area codes. Its harassment.

I'm sick of them harassing people! It should be stopped and this company pay the consequences for fraud!

On Saturday February 21, 2009 around 10:30 am, someone called my elderly father and told him that his auto insurance (not warranty) was going to expire in 3 days and would he like to renew? He said yes and gave the caller the following information: His debit card number Mothers maiden name Address and home phone number His date of birth My two sisters, my father and I are all on his account and we manage his finances.

We happen to know that his everything is current with his cars. A little while after the call, he started feeling uneasy about the call and called the bank to cancel his debit card. $395 was debited from his checking account. This is clearly a scam that we would like to pursue. Your help is appreciated and I have provided what I have found online regarding this company. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist your efforts.

$395 and having to cancel my Dad's debit card, my time and my sisters time to investigate and follow up

This company has called several times in the past several months. They called three times during the week of February 16-20. They called again today, February 23. When they call: 1) the phone rings causing me to stop what I am doing, go to the phone, and answer; 2) there is a recording telling me that my warranty is about to change, so I need to talk with a representative to take care of it; 3) I wait for the representative; 4) when the representative comes on the line, he or she immediately asks for my auto type and year; 5) when I ask he or she a question about what change my warranty will have or which company they are with or their phone number, they hang up on me. Several weeks ago, I told the representative who called to stop calling.

Now every time they call, I stay on the line to get a representative so I can ask questions to try to get information on the company. The most I have been able to get is that: 1) the name of the company is the Warranty Service Center; 2) they service all types of warranties; 3) they really know nothing about my car warranty; they are calling random phone numbers. I am on the DO NOT CALL list and do not want these calls. I have never done business with this company, so they have no right to call. The continued calls constitute harrassment in my opinion. I wish the Attorney General or some attorneys or some other legal officials would find these people and get the calls stopped.

It is upsetting. Several times when I have been watching the phone, waiting for an important call from a family member, the phone has rung and I have rushed across the house to it only to find it is the recording from these crooks. When the phone line is busy with their harassing recorded calls, my family cannot get through with their important calls. Several times, I have run the lenth of the house to get to the phone only to be upset it was all for these peoples cursed recorded call. Almost every day when I check my answering machine after being out of the house a while, there is a recorded call from these same people. I am tired of the harassment!

Group talked my 82 year old mother into purchasing an extended warranty on her 1996 Jeep. At a cost of $1845.00. She has given them a down payment of $250.00, they will not return money until she returns a packet of information and fuel additive to them. To date my mother has not received the packet.

My son and I paid 1975.00 ea for warranty extensions for our vehicles through National Dealers Warranty. We just received a notice saying that they have gone out of business by the entity that was supposed to be paid the money for our warranty. We now have no warranties and have been ripped off for our 1975.00 ea. Is there anything we can do??

We are out of pocket a total of 3,950.00 and no warranty.

They regularly call from the number saying my car warrantly will expire. I press 1 to speak to a rep. I ask them where there office is located, they refuse to tell me, then they hang up on me.

I am tired of being harrassed by these people, and them abusing my telephone line which I pay for.

Recorded messages are received at our home phone number at least once a day. When I talk to the very rude representative, she refuses to give any info, except for the company name, demands to know my name and then says That's not who I'm looking for. We are on the no call list.

General aggravation at being disturbed, called away from whatever I am doing. I would never do business with this company, so there hasn't been any real economic harm to us.

I've received at least 5 calls telling me this is the second and last notice that the warranty on my car is about to expire and to press 1 to speak to a rep. I have spoken to 3 reps to have my name/number removed from their list. The first rep said sure but didn't even confirm my number and when I pointed this out she said - Oh yeah. What's your number? She also refused to provide any information on which car for security reasons - yeah right!

The 2nd and 3rd reps were both somewhat polite and assured me that they would remove me but I'm still getting these calls. When I asked one what company they work for, they repeated what seemed to be a scripted line: I represent Warranty Services. Screams scam - I just wish they would take me off the list!!!

personal annoyance and time.

Hey, it was an obvious scam the minute I answered the phone. I've heard from these buffoons before and I usually got fed up and hung up on them, but THIS TIME I had some fun at their expense! All of you out there should do the same thing! Here's what I did... My phone rings and lists an unlisted number on caller ID. I hear a computer tell me to press one if I want to save my car's warranty. I hold and wait for buffoon #1 to come on. After about 5 minutes, a man with a heavy foreign accent starts reading from a script...saying things like we've given you many opportunities to save your car's warranty, blah blah, etc...and then he starts listing prices and coverage.

I let him ramble on for several minutes, and I kept him on the phone and kept getting him more excited as I would sound glad he called to help me! Imagine Buffoon #1's excitement when I said I want to go ahead and pay the full $2900 right now and save my car's warranty! He transfers the call to Buffoon #2 who has an obnoxious New York or New Jersey accent (no offense, fellow Americans) and he gets right down to business. He wants to know what credit card I wanna use, and so I kinda told him hmm, let me think about it for a minute here... and then after keeping Buffoon #2 on the phone long enough to get him a little frustrated, I asked him for one of HIS credit card numbers and told him to put the $2900 bucks on HIS card so that I didn't get scammed! And then I simply hung up on the idiots.

Hey, yall have some fun with these fools. Keep em on the phone. Let them got through their entire intimidation sales pitch, and let 'em think they've got a real sucker on the line...let them waste their time. Go along with it until the very last minute, and then tell them to [get lost], scammer! and hang up on them. If the majority of the calls they make end up similar to this, sooner or later they'll be climbing the walls in frustration. Hopefully, they'll eventually go out of business.

Had lots of fun with the scammers!

A computerized message from Warantee Services came to my work cell phone to tell me that my warantee for my new vehicle was expiring, and that this was the last warning I was going to get because they had already warned me (which wasn't true, as far as I know). I pressed 1 for more info, but when I spoke to the woman who answered, she would NOT tell me who she was, what company she represented, or what vehicle she was referring to. She told me that the computer database would call with reference to which vehicle she was talking about. She was very rude, and I have no idea if this was legitimate or not.

Of course, I do not want to void any warantee that I might have, since I have two cars & a company car. When she would not tell me who she was, however, I became suspicious. I passed her along to my husband, but when he asked her what vehicle she was referring to, she rudely restated the info about the computer database calling & hung up on him. I very much doubt that this call is legitimate, but I would appreciate hearing about it if it is. I'll also check with my fleet manager at work. The number that they called from was, but that number doesn't connect, needless to say.

There were no real consequences, other than that I am nervous that this was a legitimate call & that I might have voided a legitimate warantee by not being able to respond.

auto warranty scam, they use a recording, but then when you hang on they hang up on you. Major complaints all over the web. Florida just lets them keep on doing it. today I spent over an hour on line trying to find out why these companies get away with this for so long. The phone company should pull the plug on them after the first 100 complaints. I guess the phone company justs wants the income and does not care about right and wrong. Imagine that in this country; money before legality.

How many times do we have to complain for these calls to stop coming in. After the prerecorded message they say press 1 to speak to a service rep. I have 3 times and told them to please stop calling when I told the operator that today she just hung up on me. Wow not only calling people they are not suppose to but they are rude also.

I have put a complaint in to the do not call registry, to you and to the attourny generals office maybe somebody will do something about this company

BEWARE!!! For the last 6 months I have been recieving automated calls about every other day on my cellphone saying that my car warranty is about to expire press 1 to speak to customer service and 2 to be removed from the list. I have repeatedly pressed 2 and still recieve the calls so I have pressed 1 to speak to a rep on 5 different occasions and when I ask her to remove me from the calling list I am promptly hung-up on. When I try to call the number back I get a busy signal. Do not trust this company. I don't own a car that has a warranty about to expire. They are presenting themselves as my manufactures' warranty service to get a sale of insurance that is on the shady side and possible not even legit. BEWARE!!!

I received a call from this company and stayed on the line to tell them to put me on their no call list. The agent Joe was very rude and I informed him he was being disrespectful and unprofessional. He did not think he was and was arguing with me. I informed him I was not 2 yrs. old and furthermore my vehical is only 6 months old and that I knew the warrenty is not about to expire.

When I demanded to speak to his supervisor, after the third time I asked, he admitted he was calling from his phone. I asked for the company name and number, and after giving me the name he tried to beat around the bush with the number. I kept repeating over and over about him giving me the number when he said Do you have caller ID or can't you afford it? Needless to say I got angry. I have been trying to get through on that number but get a recording stating all circuits are busy.

I have a history of panic attacks and for the most part am able to control them now. This experience has set my health back. Up until this point I have been able to control my attacks without medication, but as of right now I'll be searching for the medication I have not taken in over 2 yrs.

This company continues to call me on my home office line after I have told them that we want to be removed from the list. We are also registered with the national do not call list. They continue to call 2-3 times per day. When you ask to speak to a manager or ask questions about the company I have been told to not waste their time and am hung up on or just hung up on in general.

They are calling on my home office line that I use for business. Their constant calls are harrassing as well as disruptive to my work. The calls need to stop.

I bought a warrany from a call dealership with this warranty. Not only did it take upwards of 4 hours for each question on a claim, some times it took more then 1 business day. The claims department refused to pay for items clearly stated as covered on the warranty. I also asked for a copy of all conversations about my claim, I've got documented proof of calls from my cell phone and emails that were never documented one of those calls I was placed on hold for over 40 minuts. The records are untrue and lies in some cases.

One such statement placed on this record is that I said I would lose my job, no such thing was said by me, my parents have a spare auto and I was using that and I had no fear of losing my job because this company did not want to approve covered items or not approve them. How can you have an agreement and the other person pick and choose which parts they want to uphold? Are we as the consumer just screwed no matter if it's in writting or not.

I'm a young nursing student and couldn't afford the extra stuff I should not have had to pay for. Still waiting from their resoluation department to get back to me with what they are going to do. However have read several complaints online and it didn't work for anyone else. Wish me luck!

Every night I get a phone call from these people, every day its a diffrent number. i have asked very politely to remove me from their call database but every day i receive calls from these people.this has been going on for about 6 months now. i have kept most of their numbers on my phone.

just a hassle, is there a website were i can go and have my number removed from these scamming businesses?

My wife and I get calls, practically everyday on our cell phones, business phones about a factory warranty on our cars. It is a recording and when you press 1 to talk to someone they ask further questions about your background. They will not give you a number to call back

cost of my cell calls and a total annoyance

They won't stop harassing me. They are calling up to 2 times a day and lying about the their location, information, names and they told me that they are a 3rd party vendor who is hired by insurance companies. The guy was rude on the phone hung up and another guy (didn't get the name) was using some extremely graphic language when spelling his name and was very creepy. They won't remove my name and I am on the national Do Not Call registry. This has really taken up way too much of my time.

My economic damages are my time and cell phone bill. The physical or emotional damage is the harassment, verbal/psychological abuse. In addition to agitating my blood pressure, headaches and sever stress pains in my chest from the heated conversations.

I purchased a 7 year extended warranty for my car from Warrantybynet. Vemeco the Administrator authorized the claim. Vemeco refers me to Heritage. Heritage will not pay, says it is now with Butler. Butler has moved to Ohio and is not paying. I have a $1485 claim from 06/08 that is unpaid. I still have 14 months of coverage left on the policy.

I had to shell out the $1485 from my pocket at the service center. The original warranty boosted that all claims would be paid by credit card ffrom their insurer directly to the service center.

I spent $150 for an extended warranty through this company. The warranty is supposed to cover drivetrain, steering racks, ps pumps etc. My steering rack went out while the vehicle was still covered and the company is saying they will only pay $300 towards this repair. A new steering rack and labor is $1600. They will only pay to have the rack remanufactured. They will not purchase new original equipment parts

now that random, excessive, repeat phone calls on extending my car warranty has diminished, it appears that now they are bypassing phone calls and sending mailers with the same deceptive sales pitch. I saw a news spot recently where someone from some government agency said if nobody complains, nothing will be done. I used to get weekly phone pitches with urgent messages to extend a warranty. Now its happening via junk mail. Therefore, I am complaining. about this misleading process. I realize nothing can be done, but I was surprised about the issue with phone calls when nobody cared.

I get at least 5 calls a week about my car warranty expiring - I see there are multiple complaints about this situation on your website. I've tried to get the company information but just get hung up on. What is being done about this nuisance? I've even told them I'm on the do not call list but they do not give company information so you really can't complain about them directly.

CONSTANT AGGRAVATION

The call was a message regarding that my vehicles warranty was to expire, push one for a representative or two if I did not want to keep the warranty, I chose one...the real person ask me for my vehicle registration number and make, I replied they called me and would they not have that information. and I ask them how they got my phone number the next thing I heard was a CLICK.

I do not know what the damage will be, they could have been slamming my phone using it for other scams, I just think this kind of thing needs to be sent to my Attorney General in the state where I reside, and I will do that next. He is good at expediting answers for anything I have sent him.

This recorder keeps calling me telling me my factory warrenty has expired and to speak to a representive press __number? I keep telling them that I am not interested and to STOP calling me, and the recorder keeps calling me weekly. I have received probably average about 7-10 calls regarding this. I keep asking them to stop and they wont.

It is making me insane and i do not appreciate the extra stress in my life. I am a single mother and I do not wish to deal with such nonsense. They are invading my privacy. This is NOT fair.

Received notification! At my legal mailing address. Possible scam notification #8801979436 (vehicle warrenty record)+ VEHICLE WARRENTY TERMINATION. Also received recorded messages on my cell phone.

None Known to anyone YET?

I purchased an Extended warranty for my dodge durango in Jan 2006 and am now just finding out the company is out of business and my ext warranty may be worthless. In addition I found out that contracts, including mine, were being issued stating that American Resources Insurance Co. Inc. was the insurer of the warranties.

In fact, ARIC only covered policies in 8 states, MI, AL, GA, SC, KN, TN, VA and IN and only for the period 10/1/05-9/19/06. Any contracts issued outside these states or periods had Capital Assurance, RRG as the insurer but they are not an insurance company. Everyone selling these policies including ARIC did not know these policies contained this false protection.

My warranty is through 2013 and now I may not have any warranty protection to cover repairs for 4 more years.

My 2003 Ford Escape just turned 100k miles and is running great thanks to me doing my own scheduled maintenance like oil/filter changes, ATF changes, belts, plugs, etc. In November 2008, after being relentlessly bombarded by automated telemarketing calls just about everyday from US Auto Warranty, I decided to call them and see what they were about. To make a long story short, they offered a 100k 7 year extended Platinum coverage warranty initially for $3400 which is totally crazy. After a 1/2 hour of the typical sales pitch, they offered the same warranty at $1825. It sounded pretty good since my car was over 100k miles so I purchased the plan careful to only pay in monthly installments of $72 plus the initial downpayment of $89 with the promise that I could cancel and receive a TOTAL REFUND after I had a chance to review the contract details.

After receiving and reviewing the details in the contract booklet, I just noticed that in their Maintenance Requirements section, where it stated that ALL future engine oil and filter changes must be done by a COMMERCIAL service facility and you must provide the verifiable service receipts and invoices in the event of a claim and HANDWRITTEN receipts WILL NOT be accepted. Maintenance must be continued as outlined in the vehicle owner's manual!Since I would NEVER think of taking my car to some of these repair garages and joints whose so called mechanic are questionable to say the least, I do ALL my own vehicle maintenance as mentioned earlier.

So I contacted US Warranty customer service to check if this would nullify the warranty since I only had product purchase receipts and my own maticulous maintenance records to provide and the peace of mind that I did the work properly! When asked, the representative told me that it would be NO PROBLEM, so I requested that I get the acknowledgement in writing from US Warranty and he said that he would check with them and get back to me shortly! What a joke! I must of called 15 times for the status of my request and the customer service reps DO NOT return your calls, NEVER answer when you call prompting you to always leave a voice message, and they REFUSE to accept and respond via email telling me that they were having technical difficulty responding to my email inquiries!

After waiting almost a 1 1/2 months, I finally got a call from Claudia of customer service who stated that US Warranty WILL NOT allow do-it yourself vehicle maintenance which will VOID any contract repairs. So I requested a FULL REFUND immediately. US WARRANTY is a RIPOFF and a waste of money as they will do their best NOT to pay your auto repair claims using various tricks and play on words through the contract details itself so BEWARE and DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME with this coverage.

Since I do all my scheduled auto maintenance myself as I have worked in the industry for over 28 years, I was initially told by the US Warranty reps that this would be NO PROBLEM and would have no affect on the warranty. When I requested this affirmation in writing from them, they refused and stated that now do-it-yourself oil changes and maintenance would NOT VOID any warranty repair claims. I have just requested a FULL refund as they promised I could and will be waiting.

Solicited call from this Warrenty Group informing me the warrenty on my vehicle was due to expire and if I wanted it extended to stay on the line. When I asked them which warranty they were referring to she said it was confidential information and she did not have it in front of her. When I asked her what vehicle she was referring to she said it was probably a vehicle between the years of 1994 to 2004. I asked her again to tell me the warrenty and vehicle name and she could not provide the information. I asked if she was a legitimate group and she said yes. I informed her because she could not provide the warrenty group or vehicle to remove me from the call list. She quickly hung up.

Harrassing, emotional, exhausting, annoying, etc.

NUMEROUS times a day a company calling themselves Warranty Services calls all three of my business lines, my three cell phone lines, and my home. Every number is on the do not call registry. I pushed 1 and spoke directly with Thomas who told me they would not stop calling and hung up on me! I have researched this online to find thousands of people are dealing with the same thing I am.

Loss of productive time as well as taking up lines of my businesses!

The call started off with a recorded message telling how my warranty on my car had expired or was about to. The person that answered the phone when it was transferred only wanted to ask me what type of car I owned. Any questions that I would ask he would ignore and go right back to the same question he just asked me. I requested as to how my number was received. I was told that any questions were to be directed toward the warden.

A second later I was speaking with a person that identified himself as the warden. When I asked if this was a facility I was informed yes and that he had told the prisoner that called me to return to his cell. I again asked if he was calling from a faculty and the name of it, the male identifying himself as the warden started laughing and hung up.

I got the Warranty Services recording regarding an expiring Warranty. I pushed No.1 on the phone and a fellow who said his name was Charles came on the line. He said something like Good Morning, how can I help you today? I said Charles, can you stop calling me? He said Absolutely not, Sir. We are going to keep calling you and hung up.

Loss of personal time.

On Friday Dec 12 at about 7 pm a telemarketer informed me that the warranty on my Subaru had expired and that I should renew it immediately with a 5 year extension. He talked me into giving him my bank routing number and informed me that the amount was for $195.00.

My account was immediately charged with a debit of $195.00. I went to the Subaru dealer, who informed me that I still had an active warranty on my car. He informed me that it was a scam. I called the bank and they advised to freeze my account, however the debit charge had already been processed. I was informed that a new bank account would be created and it would take a week to process this.

They call my house they call my cell phone and they are relentless and will not stop. They change their phone number all they time and when you call the number is not working.

Keep getting calls for extended warranty service on my car. My children are getting them on their cell phones also. Every phone number is then disconnected after calling back. I have called Verizon and they can only offer changing phone numbers

please help. I want my name and number removed off the car warranty calls no one can do this. thanks.

Receive automated phone calls. Fear tactics definitely employed. Hit 9 key to talk to a representative. When I got a person and stated I'd received a random call and would like to know the company name, he hung up on me. I did *69 in hopes of retrieving the number. I AM on the do not all list, do not have any car even eligble for a warranty, so these people are in definite violation.

I received a call from this phone number telling me that this was my last chance to do something about my car warranty. I did what the voice instructed me to do & a person came on the phone and asked what was the year & make of the car, & I said I don't know what vehicle you are talking about. At this time the person hung up on me. It seems to be a scam.

I received a letter stating that my vehicle's 36 month/36,000 mile factory warranty coverage had expired. They pushed me to Call Immediately and used the fear factor of You can't afford to be without coverage! The envelope came with no return address or identifying features. They do not mention any make or model of my vehicle in the letter. They use a standard warrantee period as a guess. Bottom line is that they have no idea if the addressee has a vehicle because they don't provide any facts about it.

I have been receiving several calls from a group called Automotive Warranty Services. There is an automated message which tells me I am receiving my last call to extend my warranty service. If I press 1 I am directed to an operator who asks for my credit card information after giving me a quote to extend my automotive warranty. I tried to get a mailing address from the operator in order to locate where the business resides but he hung up on me when I asked.

I receive between 3-5 calls from this service per week which slows down my time at work and ties up my phone lines.

It appears I was sold a worthless extended auto warranty over the phone. The seller of the extended warranty I am told by the person who process claims has gone out of business.

Need refund on extended warranty, because claims are not being honored. I can not afford to pay repair bill $1,865.00.

*69 revealed unreachable number. I was called by an machine with the message to extend my car warranty and this was my final notice. I pressed 1 to reach a lice agent. I got account services after being on hold due to agents helping other customers. I asked him where he got my information and what information he had. He had my name, but no car information. He wanted my car VIN, insurance and registration information ready when he transfered me to another agent (I got the notion that he was scanning me to see if I really wanted to extend my service). He also stated that his records showed that my warranty was to expire (it had been expired for 7 years!). He told me that he got my information from a major manufactors who give out a list of clients.

I told him to remove my name from that list. He argued with me and raised his voice repeatedly as I tried to squeeze him for all the information that I could. After calling the auto dealership who sold me my car and extended warranty (also raised his voice and verbally abusive as he denied all connections and talking over me), I called the warranty service with whom I did actually have service with. They kindly said that they would never give my name out and ONLY deal with the dealers who sell the cars. Next time, I will ask for caller ID numbers, addresses, and formally ask to be put on the DO NOT CALL list. They don't know though...it's a scam, but I don't know how they get my name. I really depend on the Consumer Protection agency to rectify these calls. I am unlisted in my phone book and registered with the government's DO NOT CALL list.

On 11/26 my cell got a call from Warranty Services - and like everyone else the automated message final call, your warranty is going to expire - I pressed 1 to transfer. I got a Inez, typically I like to know a persons last name with whom I am talking to especially if this is business, so I asked, is this a first name or a last name, his reply, first, and I asked the last name.. I think asked Inez G what company he was calling from and he said shut the **** up and proceeded to hang up. Definitely a Fraudulent company using abusive behavior.

i recieved a phone call about an extended warranty on my car. i was then given a 1-888 number to call. i called then number it seemed like a good idea so i accepted, however was i wrong! I was then instructed to pay $200 for the first months payment and they would then send the warranty information. So They took the first payment, but i never recieved any warranty

it was a scam, but was i too late for the $200 had already been taken out. so now im going through much chaos with the Better Business Bearau, my car company, my bank.

I have asked on at least 3 or 4 separate occasions to be removed from their list. Each time I am told I will be removed and within a month or two I receive another call from them. I've now received 2 calls within 1.5 weeks and both times asked to be removed and threatend that I would sue them, as they are required by law to remove me upon request. At that point, I am told that I would be removed and they then proceed to hang up abruptly. Based on the fact that I continue to receive calls from this company, they do not comply with my request.
