It covers vehicles that most warranty companies won’t, and it has a variety of plan options to fit different needs. CornerStone United provides a range of coverage options for passenger vehicles, recreational vehicles (RVs), off-road vehicles and watercraft. Its vehicle service contracts offer coverage for mechanical breakdowns. Additionally, the company has products to maintain your car’s appearance, such as tire and wheel coverage, dent protection and windshield repair coverage.

The Xtra Series (which is designed for older, high-mileage vehicles) has four plans, ranging from a basic powertrain plan to comprehensive coverage for most vehicle parts. You can also choose add-on options for the three lower-tier plans to customize your coverage.

Meanwhile, CornerStone United’s Xpanded series covers cars up to more than 20 years old or with up to 200,000 miles. The company offers plans for luxury vehicles, such as Alfa Romeos and the Porsche 911 Turbo.

Like other companies with vehicle service contracts, CornerStone United sets coverage limits for how much it pays to repair or replace parts for your vehicle. However, CornerStone United doesn’t specify coverage limits online, so be sure to ask when you get a quote for a contract.

CornerStone United sells its products through select dealerships and doesn’t make its prices publicly available. If you want to purchase a CornerStone United vehicle service contract, contact a participating dealership for a quote. You can call CornerStone United to find a participating dealer in your area.

When purchasing a vehicle service contract from CornerStone United, make sure you review the plan carefully to understand the terms and conditions.

For most contracts, you’re allowed to transfer the plan to the next owner if you sell your vehicle privately (not to a dealer).

To cancel your contract, contact the dealership that sold it to you. If it’s gone out of business, you can contact CornerStone United directly. The cancellation process can take up to 30 days.
