  • Easy to transfer or cancel NAC contracts
Cons

I purchased this coverage on my vehicle. I recently broke down and my cell service was not good. I called them for a tow and was told the fee was $275 and I was covered for $250. I agreed to pay the extra $25 while I was on the phone. The customer service sent me a link by text, I paid the fee and called them back the next morning to see when car would be picked up only to be told the claim was not valid because I didn't stay on the phone while paying the $25. I would have to open another claim and pay again while I wait for the first $25 to be refunded. This is a scam. I will never recommend them. I've called several times and just get out on hold and sent to different departments.

I bought a 2013 Ford Flex Limited from the local Mitsubishi dealer. I asked for the best warranty available. This is what they offered and included it in my financing. Within months, we started having serious mechanical issues. I took my car back to the dealer who sold me the warranty. They diagnosed the issue. The warranty company paid for it. The issue persisted over several more months. In each occurrence, the warranty company paid for it. Eventually, it was determined that the engine wiring harness was faulty and the entire thing would need to be replaced. They said that because of the difficulty that it would require 21 "M" hours of labor, + parts. Once again, it was submitted and accepted. My Flex runs perfectly now. Based on all the other reviews, I assume this Warranty is probably better suited to ASE dealerships than local shops.

If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would. Nina ** is the person handling my father's claim. A five year old has better communication skills and professionalism than she has had handling his claim. We have submitted all the paperwork required on the portal and via email maybe a total of 4 times. I have tried getting ahold of her supervisor. When I get someone on the phone they say they'll email them but they are not able to provide me with the supervisor's information. I will make sure to NEVER buy GAP insurance with National Auto Care. Make sure to file a complaint with NAIC.

Many of the reviews here are from NAC customers, and many of them are not favorable. My review (complaint) is coming from our repair shop. Back in early December we repaired a young lady's vehicle who has NAC coverage. NAC agreed to cover the repair, but only after a bit of back and forth to get the cost down as much as possible on their end. We agreed on a price, the customer's car was repaired on December 12th and she paid us her deductible portion of the bill.

We submitted all of the required documents to NAC via email per their request, and I even called them to make sure that they had received the documents. They indicated that they had received them and I was told that I would receive a call from someone in 3-4 business days who would make the remaining balance due payment. I did not hear from them, so I called and left a voicemail and then sent an email requesting that someone call me with the payment. I received a call the same day from a young lady who sounded like she was driving down the interstate with all of her windows rolled down. She gave me credit card information, the card was declined.

We tried 4 more times and the card was declined every time. She told me that she would check things on her end to make sure there wasn't a hold on the card or something and would call me back in 30 minutes. I never heard back from her. I have tried sending numerous emails since then requesting that someone call me back right away to take care of the payment. It is now January 1st and I have heard nothing from this company. It is very odd that a company like this would make payments to repair shops with a credit card over the phone, rather than send a check similar to an insurance company. The name on the credit card was "Vajira **" which was also very strange. I am hoping to hear from them after the holiday, but if things go as they have the past 2 weeks, I doubt that I will. A very poor way to do business, indeed!!!

I filed for my gap insurance repayment in September 2025 due to a weather total loss in August 2025. During the months of September, October, November and now into December I still do not have movement on receiving my money. I have submitted the correct documents since September and when I call- after being on hold for up to 2 hours I am told they "now" have the correct documents and it will take 7-14 business days for them to reply to me. That time passes and nothing so I call back and receive the same information. I ask to speak to a supervisor and am told there is never anyone available. I am beyond frustrated! This has been months now and I still have not received the gap insurance settlement.

Bought a Silverado from my local dealership with a National Auto Care warranty. I had an issue not for far along into my ownership. Took my truck back to the selling dealer. They were about to get he issue fixed. Only charged me my deductible which is great. Saved me over a thousand dollars has I not had the warranty contract.

Horrible horrible horrible. Don't know how they are in business or haven't got sued yet. They keep on looking for anything to blame the customer so they get away with not having to pay anything. They give you a headache and the licensed shop a horrible headache as well. Then they treat you like you're the third party and they don't want to speak with you at all only with the shop and ask the shop questions of how it happened when the shop has no idea where I was heading or my speed. Try talking to them and they refused to after I'm the one paying them. They're so bad that the licensed shop gave me back my truck free of charge fixed cause they were done getting the runaround with these people. Hope they get what they have coming. Awful. They shouldn't be a thing honestly 🚩🚩🚩.

DO NOT BUY A WARRANTY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!! They will try every excuse to find a reason why they won't cover you. Horrible customer service. I called to report an emissions code and estimate from dealer. She tried telling me exhaust isn't covered. But, emissions itself isn't a part of exhaust system. Even read to her in contract where it said any emissions controlled devices are covered. Refused.

I asked for the supervisor, and while on hold I got hung up on. So when I called right back the next rep tells me it was rejected by another rep so she can't override. Even though she disconnected me before I talked to supervisor. 110% scam. Doesn't even matter what it says in your contract they will find a way to scam out of paying. If you call them don't hang up until you have some kind of guarantee. They will continue talking about it because when they drop your call they will tell you it was already rejected by another rep. AGAIN. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THESE SCAMMERS.

Bought 2 policies for road side assistance and tire coverage from the RV dealership for 1500$ was told how easy they were to work with and a great company. Then drove the RV and had 2 flat tires and called customer service and was told they couldn’t tow our RV because there were more than 2 people in the RV to pay for the repair and submit for reimbursement both were denied because I didn’t take pictures of the tire damage even though were told by the police to stay in the RV because we were on the freeway. Not sure what if anything these policies cover. Would not recommend.
