Don’t do business with this company. They will deny your claims and they will tell you that they didn’t get the email cancellation. Call your back and have them removed.

This company OX CAR CARE is a scam. Don't sign up for their CRAP. Everything they are saying is not true. They are quick to withdraw their monthly fees, but never send reimbursement checks when they owe you. I even went to one of their recommended shops for an oil change in February 2026 and up until now, they haven't reimbursed me. Cancel your policy with them and try Carshield. I was a member for over a year and I blame myself for that.

This has to be the worst company I ever dealt with. I bought the best plan at the time, the diamond package, they gave everything that was included, especially all parts in the engine compartment, nothing would be paid out of pocket, prior to contract. Three years later, my 1st claim and lo and behold I'm coming out $2166.00 to get my vehicle which is still at the Dealership gong on week #5 because the the only thing they are going to cover is the radiator, and it has to be an aftermarket purchased by OxCar care or they would only pay $250 if it's an OEM part from the dealership.

Worst company ever!! Don't buy! They are non-responsive to emails or complaints to you or BBB and do not own up to contract obligations. They owe me reimbursement for my collision deductible of $500 per contract, and I keep getting the run-around. Stay away!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Ox Car Care. I signed up for a contract that clearly outlined a defined membership term and payment plan. However, after what I understood to be the structured payment period, I continued to be charged $137.92 per month for an additional five months, totaling $689.60 in extra charges. When I contacted customer service, I was told that my agreement had been converted to “month‑to‑month” and that they could change the terms and conditions at any time. This explanation does not align with the written contract I received, which outlines specific terms and indicates that changes require proper notice.

This company is a RIP-OFF!!! Full of foreigners that can't even speak good English. Every time, I turned around, the Dealership would inform me that OxCC stated, I was months behind on my payment for my Lexus, but stupid OxCC was drafting my payment monthly from my account. Only after wasting weeks for OxCC to inform my Dealership that another one of their department records were not matching...as if their incompetence was okay.

I paid for the service for years and I couldn't get nothing done to my car but a oil change. Service sucks and they just took my money

Ox Car Care is a scam. After having coverage for a year I took my car to a mechanic and ox care didn’t want to pay because the mechanic had to be ASE certified which they never mentioned before in the beginning after looking up some mechanics that were ase certified didn’t want to deal with ox care stating that they always has problems with ox care paying so after 1700 dollars later I had to cancel my account because no mechanic wanted to deal with ox care. They recommended for me to get Carshield so that’s what I’ll do.

I had OX Car Care for two years. Found my car had three problems. I took it in. First of all, it took damn now a month for them to work on my car. They finally worked on my car. Ox Car didn’t want to pay for everything on the car, so I had to just get the most important thing first on the car that I can drive it out. Ox Car Care only pay so much money. I had to come out of my pocket, not that deductible for $100.

I was paying on Ox Car Care for over one year monthly $100 my Cadillac Escalade engine piston, went bad part of their policy coverage, I went to file a claim. And what's denied immediately, I also contacted Channel 6 News in Milwaukee, who started an investigation. I was asked to resubmit additional vehicle service information which I did and we're still denied. This company needs to be investigated and lawsuits need to be filed.

After 2 denied claims quickly figured this company was nothing but a scam. They are long on promises short on service. They want you to call their road service which might take days to find a contractor while you are stuck on the side of the road in the middle of the night. Then they want the Auto shop to buy the parts from them. Limited car rental or none at all. Stuck me with a $2000.00 tab and denied the claim anyway.

Ox Car Care is scamming people out of their money for extended car warranties. They take monthly payments estimated $100 to $250 per month and only pay up to 35% of most repairs needed on a used car. Most of their claims are denied and take over 2 weeks to a month to review and respond to a claim. Once you purchase a warranty through Ox Car Care Inc., they sell your policy to a secondary warranty company call Superior who handles your claim. If Superior deny your claim you can not collect anything from Ox Car Care Inc. or Superior. After payment estimated 28 payments estimated $4500, during the last remaining months of my contract, I had an engine problem, a leaking gas valve in the engine and estimated cost to repair was $9,000. Ox Car Care Inc. and Superior refuse to pay.

This coverage is a rip off. 5 months after signing up I had a mechanical breakdown and they refused to cover my vehicle saying the odometer was in question. 5 months of premiums and no coverage and they refused to refund my money. This coverage is a joke.

I had my 2022 Dodge Ram 2500 truck starter replaced. The total bill was $488.00 and I paid my $250.00 deductible and Ox Car Care only paid $14.56 leaving me having to pay the remainder of $238.00. After paying $2,200.00 in Premiums and only a $14.56 benefit I chose to cancel the Contract but after sending in the cancelation papers and not hearing back from Ox Car Care for over a month (so they could charge an additional 2 Premiums) they told me later that 2 emails had to be sent to cancel the contracts, Not per Contract that stated to mail them in. Plus they still owe me for 3 oil changes since November 1st in which now they will NOT PAY due to my cancelation of the contracts.

I have paid my policy off and I get a call trying to get me to get another policy saying there were components not covered. I’ve had no claims except oil changes and had to pay for one of those. Done.

Paid on coverage for over a year. Truck broke down. Put it in the shop. They approved the repairs and now they will not pay so I cannot pick my truck up. Dealership has at my truck for 10 months because Car Care is a scam is a fraud. Do not buy a policy from these people. You will regret it.

I keep getting scam calls from Ox Autocare. They use different numbers and call me up to 3 times a day. No legitimate company needs to spam call you everyday multiple times a day. It's the same recorded AI based message.

Rude people. The lady that answers the phone and talks to you is a representative of your company. She needs to learn how to have professional phone conversations. She is very rude. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

My true score for them is less than zero!!!! Last year, my car has some major repairs needed. The cost was right at 10k. My car was in the shop for 3 weeks waiting for Ox Car Care. When they finally approved the repairs, they only covered $1,400 and pretty much told me to kick rocks. So I had to pay out-of-pocket. This year my water pump needed replacing. The repair shop charged $954. I paid it then submitted for reimbursement from Ox Car Care because I couldn't go 3 weeks without my car again. Ox Care Care only agreed to give me $638 back.

I heard about this company, via their advertising. I called, add 3 cars to my policy. Due to unexpected financial problems. I had to cancel my policies. I called, they told me to email 3 canceled policies for cancellation. I called back regarding turn around for refund and was told 30 to 45 business days. This in September. Received 1 payment in Oct. Called back to be told now it 30 to 50 business days. Now it's December 19th and they tell me it nonrefundable due to it a month to month case. This was never explained in writing or verbal from the beginning. Just beware

One piss poor company. They do not pay their claims. They have all kinds of excuses to put you off, but keep taking the money each month. Could not even get reimbursed for an oil change. Avoid at all cost. They are a lying company.

If there was lower that 1 star, that is what OxCarCare deserve. In my opinion, they are a huge scam and I don't recommend at all. I have be paying in on this coverage for years, I have be denied twice. I have maintenance for life on my truck and I take great care of it. After 218,000 miles My truck need a major repair. I did everything right maintaining my truck, but their claim department said my oil drank plug needed to be replaced. My mechanic said bring it in next oil change and we will replace it, It didn't leak, just was wet on pan, this is reason the claim department denied my claim. The mechanics couldn't believe it wasn't approved, such a scam The customer service is difficult to reach; I was forward to several numbers just be put on hold for 45 to a hour. I wish I could be a refund on my monthly payment. Please stay away for this company.

Been with them for 3/4 months, contacted customer service numerous times, hang ups and some more. Requested a copy of the agreement numerous times, they said they would email, as of 12/04/3025, I have no policy numbers or anything to even show I have a warranty. The overall rating is 6.6 FAIR

All seem great until the next day I canceled. They claimed it would be easy. I canceled on 11/28/25. Never got cancellation email. I sent the required email they requested which seem like unnecessary extra work for the customer. Why can't they just cancel over the phone. Ok, so after sending the email they say I will get a confirmation email in 15 minutes or so. I call back, never got that confirmation. I called 5 times, you wait on hold forever even though the hold time say 15 seconds, if about 50 minutes not 15 seconds. I called and waited over an hour. Hung up called again, waited again about 25 minutes.

Won't cover repair. Cause I do my own oil changes so I can show maintenance logs. They took months to decide. Playing get my money games. I am left in cold without money and no vehicle..they are worse than Ford the maker.

Ox Car Care called me in August 2025 and informed me that my towing reimbursement was approved and I would be refunding $100.00. After I watched my mailbox daily for the next two weeks, I started calling every other day, told it was pending to be mailed out. It was still pending the last week of October, so I told them I wanted to cancel my policy because there no way it would take over two months to print a check, put a stamp to mail it to me and they told me cancelling my policy would forfeit my refund. I still cancelled the policy November 1st. They have been calling me everyday since to make the $109 monthly payment. It is November 20th, I am tired of them calling and I really need the money I went on CHATGPT. I not only found out they are required to reimburse me but CHATGPT composed me a rebuttal and complaint to use as needed.

Very bad. I am trying to cancel my subscription but they are playing games with me. I called them, He told me I would get my refund of $130.00 but never did. Stay away from Oxcare they are not on the Up and Up. Might call my Attorney and sue them.

Ox car care is nothing more than a supplement to your car repairs. It is not a warranty. My understanding of a warranty is that if you need repairs, the warranty covers it and that’s not what car care is doing for me. My car is currently in the shop, needing a rack and pinion steering assembly and ox car care are not covering the repairs. According to the representative that I spoke with it’s because I took the car to a dealership. Please be mindful of this company for they are not what they advertise to be.

I have been waiting approximately 45 days for my approval to get my vehicle fixed. They want to blame it on shortage of adjusters, but that isn't my problem. I have had to rent vehicles, borrow vehicles and Uber to get around. I have probably put more out on getting transportation to get around. Looking forward to what excuses they come up with this time.

If I could give them a -10 stars I would. They are absolute scam artist and they do not hold up their end of the deal whatsoever. They take your money and don’t do anything for you. Please stay to get a refund and drag it out for months then all of a sudden you don’t qualify.

This is the worst warranty company ever. They never answer the claims department phone. It will ring for 15 mins and then you are asked to leave a message but they won't return your call. The tactic is to make you so frustrated that you quit trying to call them. Do not buy this crap warranty.

Oxcarcare is nothing but a scam, they jusy take your money and don't honor thier contract, my car had a mechanical breakdown that was clearly covered by my contract and my car sat for over there weeks, the mechanic and I gave them everything they needed to for the ajusters to approve the work to be done but they never did, I couldn't even get a rental car which was in the contract also, they will keep you on hold for 30 mon at a time then keep transferring you to wrong departments, and when you get upset you're the problem. Go figure! I finally paid out of pocket to get my car fixed and had to go threw hoops to get my contract canceled, BUYER BE AWARE, STAY WOKE, TELL EVERYBODY YOU KNOW, FRIENDS, FAMILY, THEY'RE JUST A BIG INSURANCE COMPANY TAKING PEOPLE'S MONEY. SCAMMERS, SCAMMERS!!

The service sucks. They won't honor my warranty. I been paying since last yr and still no service. I filed a claim back in August and it's October now. Can someone give me a call because I don't trust it anymore.

The worst. This is a fraudulent warrant company. They take your money and provide zero services. Please be aware. Do not allow them to scam anyone else. They spread false advertising and does absolutely nothing for their customers.

Predator company that feeds on the elderly. They tried to scam my 80 year old mom who has dementia. I called to cancel and explained her mental condition and that I was her power of attorney and took care of her finances. I was told that the cancellation process was started and that I would receive a confirmation call. The only calls I received were from OxCar saying that they had not received payment. I was told to write a letter and email it to cancellations@oxcarcare.com.

This company representative has lied more than one time. I ask to cancel. Representative stated what I need to do. I follow their instructions. I even played their game they stated that I could get my money back. Dealing with another company called Exclusive National Auto Club who suppose to be affiliated with Ox Auto Care. What happened? Needless to say still did not get money back. In fact this company stated that it takes 30 days for the process to take place. I called Exclusive National Auto Club representative stated that I needed to wait 45 days to get my money back. After playing their game I decided that this company is scam. They're telling people what they can do when they're not doing absolutely nothing but taken people's money. Shame on these companies. A risk that I took to think that there's good companies out there.

It's now day 13, my customer is waiting for approval for a repair which they say is 15-30 days. I've never had to wait this long to get an approval or no approval from a warranty company. Buyer beware if you're thinking of buying from Ox, your car will be broken down, and you'll be left waiting.

I purchased the policy around June 2024 and made monthly payments. However, I later discovered that I already had an existing extended warranty with another company. On the same day my most recent payment was taken, I contacted Ox Car Care to cancel my policy. I was instructed to send a cancellation letter to the Maintenance Department, which I submitted right away.

Ox care has no consideration about their clients. The reason I made this statement is because they can not give you a clear answer on why they can't give the service that they promise and you are paying for. My mechanic submitted claim almost 4 weeks and still haven't heard anything. I call and they say still under evaluation with me still being without transportation. To me that's a breach of their service contract that they promise.

I had some bad wiring in my truck. I took it to the dealer. To have it fixed. Afterwards Ox Car Care stated they do not pay for wiring problems. How convenient. Maybe this is why they only have a one star out of five review.
