    The Children's Place Recalls Camouflage Pajama Sets

    The Children's Place is recalling about 28,000 camouflage pajama sets. The screen print on the shirt contains excess levels of lead.

    This recall involves long- and short-sleeved pajama sets. The sets have a blue shirt with a red screen print that reads 'Athletics 90' and coordinating camouflage pants. The pajama sets were sold in boys' sizes XXS (2/3) to XL (14).

    The pajamas were sold at The Children's Place stores nationwide and www.childrensplace.com from December 2006 to January 2008 for between $15 and $17. They were made in Vietnam.

    Consumers should immediately take the pajama sets from children and return them to any The Children's Place store for a full refund.

    Groovy Fashions, Sassy Jammies Doll Clothing Sets Recalled

    The Manhattan Group is recalling about 9,200 sets of doll clothes because they contain excessive levels of lead.

    The recalled doll clothing set features a two-piece pajama set, eye mask and slippers. The pajama top is pink satin and the pants are dark brown with multi-colored flowers printed on them.

    The doll clothes, made in Indonesia, were sold at mail order, Internet and specialty gift stores nationwide from January 2008 through October 2008 for about $12.

    Consumers should take the product away from young children immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund or store credit.

    'Lil Snugglers' Children's Blankets Recalled

    About 74,000 Lil' Snugglers children's blankets are being recalled. The blanket's satin edge can come loose, posing a strangulation hazard.

    The firm has 18 reports of the satin separating from the blanket. No injuries have been reported.

    The recalled children's blankets are 14 inches square with an animal head sewn in the middle. The satin border around the outside edge is about one inch wide. The blankets were sold in the following styles:

    The style number, followed by the P.O. number, is identified on a white tab sewn into the blankets behind the Douglas red label.

    The blankets were sold by specialty stores nationwide and on the Web from April 2005 through December 2007 for about $12. They were made in China.

    Consumers should take the blankets away from children immediately and return it to Douglas for a free replacement blanket or credit toward another item of equal value.

      The Home Depot Recalls Candle Holders

      The Home Depot is recalling about 14,000 candle holders. Sunlight passing through the glass portion can cause nearby flammable materials to ignite, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received one report of a fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

      The sun-shaped candle holder is glass and metal, and was sold in four colors (red, green, blue, and yellow). "15.75" Candle Holder" is printed on the product's hang tag.

      The items were sold at The Home Depot stores in the southern and western regions of the U.S. from January 2008 through March 2008 for about $10. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products and return them to The Home Depot for a full refund.

      Phil & Teds Dash Buggy Strollers Recalled

      Regal Lager Inc. is recalling about 1,600 Phil & Teds Dash Buggy Strollers. The frame handle could fail to latch properly and break, posing a fall hazard to small children.

      The company recalled 44,000 strollers in August after reports of lacerations from the hinge locking mechanism.

      The latest recall involves Phil & Teds Dash Buggy strollers with article #7-1080005 (red) and article #7-10080005 (black). The strollers have a metal frame with three wheels, a cloth seat, and a canopy. The Phil & Teds logo is located on the crotch piece of the harness. The article number can be found on the safety strap hanging from the handle.

      The strollers were sold through various independent juvenile specialty stores and online from July 2008 through September 2008 for between $500 and $600. They were made in China.

      Consumers should stop using this stroller immediately and contact the company for a replacement stroller frame.

      Aqua Lung America Recalls Apeks Scuba Diving Regulators

      Aqua Lung America is recalling about 25,000 Apeks Second Stage Scuba Regulators. These regulators can be missing the diaphragm cover which can cause the diaphragm to become displaced during a dive, allowing water to enter the scuba regulator. This poses a drowning hazard to divers.

      This recall involves Apeks TX, ATX, and XTX second stage regulators that have never been serviced. Apeks and TX, ATX, or XTX is printed on the regulator.

      The regulators, made in England, were sold at authorized Apeks dealers nationwide from February 2000 through June 2008 for between $420 and $1,450.

      Consumers should immediately stop diving with these regulators and visit an authorized Apeks dealer for a free inspection and free installation of a diaphragm cover, if the cover is missing.

      Daiso Recalls Stuffed Dogs

      Daiso LLC is recalling stuffed toys sold in its stores. The stuffed toys contain small parts, posing a choking hazard to young children.

      The recalled toys are creme-colored stuffed dogs with black eyes and nose. Some of the toys have brown spots on the back. A tag attached to the toy is written in Japanese language with UPC codes: 4947678264166 and 4947678246063.

      The dogs were sold at Daiso retail stores in California and Washington State from October 2007 through December 2007 for about $3. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately stop using the toys and return them to any Daiso retail store for a full refund.

      Sears and Kmart Recall Play Stoves

      Sears and Kmart are recalling about 17,000 'My First Kenmore' play stoves because of a tip-over hazard.

      A metal bracket connecting the door to the stove can cause a tip-over when the door is opened. This poses a risk of injury to young children.

      Sears has received one report of the product tipping over, resulting in bruises to a child.

      The self-assembled, wooden play stove is painted pink with six white knobs and a timer. The dimensions of the stove when assembled are 11 1/2' W x 13 3/4' D x 32 7/8' H.

      The stoves, made in Taiwan, were sold at Sears and Kmart stores nationwide from September 2007 through November 2007 for about $100.

      Consumers should immediately remove and discard the bracket that connects the door to the stove to eliminate the hazard. Consumers may obtain updated assembly instructions by contacting Sears/Kmart or by visiting either firm's Web site. In some products, the updated assembly instructions are already included and replacement instructions are not required.

      Lithonia Recalls More Indoor Lighting Fixtures

      Lithonia Lighting is recalling about 1,400 indoor lighting fixtures commonly used in stores and warehouses. The glass reflector can separate from the fixture and fall, posing a risk of injury to consumers below the fixture.

      There has been one report of a glass reflector falling. No injuries have been reported.

      The recall involves the Hi-Bay Indoor High-Intensity Discharge (HID) Fixtures, model numbers PG16A and PG21A. The fixture is intended for high-mounting heights (at least 20 feet above floor level) and is used in retail, warehouse and heavy manufacturing locations. The fixtures housing is made of die-cast aluminum.

      The lights were sold by electrical distributors and sales representatives nationwide from January 2007 through May 2008 for between $280 and $350. They were made in the United States.

      Consumers should inspect the fixtures immediately and take down any units with loose glass. Consumers should contact Lithonia Lighting to arrange for a free replacement.

      Play Wonder Toy Sundae Sets Sold at Target

      About 22,000 Play Wonder toy sundae sets sold at Target are being recalled by Battat Inc. The wooden cherries on top of the toy sundae pose a choking hazard to young children.

      The recalled wooden sundae set toy includes six wooden scoops of ice cream, three cherries that attach to the top of the ice cream scoops, banana slices, a spoon and bowl. The ice cream scoops are green, pink, brown, yellow and purple. The sundae set pieces attach to each other with Velcro. Model number DPCI-204-12-0526 is included in this recall and is located on the packaging.

      The sets were sold exclusively at Target Stores nationwide from December 2006 through December 2007 for about $10. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled toy sundae sets away from children and return the toys to any Target store for a full refund.

      Hallmark Recalls Jumbo Snow Globes

      Hallmark Cards is recalling 7,000 jumbo snowman snow globes. When exposed to sunlight, the snow globes can act as a magnifying glass and ignite nearby combustible materials, posing a fire hazard.

      Hallmark has received two reports of the snow globes igniting nearby materials. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves a Hallmark Jumbo Snow Globe in the shape of a snowman with model number 1XAG5093 and UPC code 795902066666. The snow globe measures 11 by 12 by 17 inches. The model number and the UPC code can be found on the back of the hangtag.

      The globes, made in China, were sold at Hallmark Gold Crown stores nationwide from October 2008 through November 2008 for about $100.

      Consumers should immediately remove the snow globe from exposure to sunlight and return it to any Hallmark Gold Crown store for a full refund.

      Studio RTA is recalling about 6,700 TV standards. The stability of the stand does not meet industry standards to prevent TV tip-over, posing a risk of injury or death to consumers.

      This recall involves 'Silhouette' TV stands with black or brushed silver and black frames and three glass shelves. Models included in the recall are 403650 (brushed silver and black) and 404191 (black). Model numbers are printed on the packaging and instruction sheet.

      The stands were sold by Shopko and Boscov's stores nationwide from September 2007 through June 2008 for about $140. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately remove the TV from stand and contact Studio RTA to receive a free repair kit.

      OKK Trading is recalling about 2,000 robot toys. Surface paints on the toys contain excessive levels of lead, violating the federal lead paint standard.

      The recalled robot toys were sold as a four piece set with various colored robots each carrying a gun in one hand and a shield in the other. Interchange Robot is printed on the outside packaging of the product.

      They were sold at Dollar stores nationwide from October 2007 through December 2007 for about $1. The toys were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately take these robot toys away from children and return the toys to the store where purchased for a refund.

      Ellaroo Recalls Infant Sling Carriers

      Ellaroo is recalling about 1,200 'Ring Sling' infant carriers. The aluminum rings on the carriers can bend or break. This can cause the fabric to slip through the rings and infants to fall out of the carrier.

      Ellaroo has received four reports of the rings bending and two reports of rings breaking. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall includes Ellaroo Ring Sling baby carriers with item numbers 2101 and 2102 printed on the outside of the product box. The Ellaroo Ring Sling has a fabric carrier with two aluminum rings that is worn by the user to carry an infant up to 35 pounds. The carriers are sold in mahogany, mango stone, brasilia and malay color prints. Only sling carriers with lot numbers 03/07 and 07/04 printed on a label, under the size label, inside the Ring Sling are included in the recall.

      The carriers were sold at juvenile product and department stores nationwide and online, including BabiesRUs.com, from June 2007 through February 2008 for about $100. They were made in India.

      Consumers should immediately stop using the sling carriers and contact Ellaroo for instructions on returning the carriers for a repair or replacement Ring Sling.

      Spiderman Water Bottles Spiderman water bottles sold exclusively at Sears are being recalled. Screws under the bottles lid can come loose and fall into the cup, posing a choking hazard to children.

      The firm has received three reports of screws coming loose under the water bottles lid. No injuries have been reported.

      The recalled plastic water bottles have a Spiderman picture on the cup and a Spiderman figure on the screw-on lid. The water bottle is red, white, blue, and black and measures nine inches high.

      The bottles were sold at Sears stores nationwide from July 2007 through August 2007 for about $10. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled water bottles away from children and contact Fast Forward LLC for instructions on returning the water bottles for a full refund.

      Gardeners Supply Recalls Candle-Powered Carousels

      Gardeners Supply Company is recalling about 1,500 candle-powered carousels. The candle holder placement on the base of the carousels is too close to the structure, allowing the candle flame to come in contact and ignite different parts of the carousel, including the fans, trees and deer, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received three reports of the carousels catching on fire. No injuries have been reported.

      The recalled candle carousels are made of yellow pine and stainless steel and measure about 9 inches in diameter by 13 inches high. The candle measures about 4 inches high. The candle carousels generate heat which rotate the fan blade and can cause the center platform to spin. The carousel is made of wood with cutouts of trees and deer.

      The carousels, made in China, were sold by Gardeners Supply retail stores in Burlington and Williston, Vt. and Gardeners supply catalog distributed nationwide and on the internet at www.gardeners.com from September 2008 through November 2008 for about $30.

      Consumers should stop using the carousel immediately and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund. Consumers also can mail the product to Gardeners Supply Returns, 5 New England Drive, Essex Junction, VT 05452.

      Brents-Riordan Inc. is recalling about 7,400 children's hooded sweatshirts and jackets. The garments have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children.

      This recall involves the Youth Hooded Sweatshirt (item # 11037Y-39) and the Youth Insulated Bomber with Hood (item # 1113Y-39). The item number is found in a label located underneath the care label. The sweatshirts have a camouflage design and 'Photoflauge' is printed on them.

      The items were sold at various retail stores nationwide from July 2007 through December 2007 for between $20 and $30. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard or return the sweatshirts to either the place of purchase or Brents-Riordan for a full refund.

      Reebok-CCM is recalling about 1,000 hockey helmets. The helmets' chinstrap can unexpectedly disengage while in use. If this happens, the helmet could fall off, posing a risk of head and neck injuries.

      'Bonafide Love' hooded sweatshirts sold at Nordstrom stores are being recalled. The garments have a drawstring through the hood, which can pose a strangulation hazard to children.

      This recall involves the Bonafide Love childrens hooded sweatshirts. The sweatshirts are reversible and come in two styles. The hearts and stars style is green and in the front has a heart surrounded by pink stars. On the reverse, it is hot pink with light pink dots. The Robots style is gray with drawings of robots and pink hearts. On the reverse, it has a zebra-like pattern with gray and black stripes. Bonafide Love is printed on a label sewn into the collar.

      The sweatshirts were sold at Nordstrom retail stores nationwide from November 2007 through December 2007 for about $40. They were made in China.

      Consumers should immediately remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard or return the sweatshirts to Nordstrom or to Seventy Two Inc. for a full refund.

      This recall involves 4-inch by 6-inch hanging picture frames. The wooden frames are white with decorations in different colors, and with a coordinating ribbon attached to the top.

      The frames were sold at Babies R Us stores nationwide from August 2007 through November 2007 for about $10. They were made in China.
