    Golean DETOX capsules recalled

    The product contains sibutramine and phenolphthalein not declared on the label

    Golean Detox USA of Charlotte, N.C., is recalling all lots of Golean DETOX capsules.

    The product contains sibutramine and phenolphthalein not declared on the label, making it an unapproved drug for which safety and efficacy have not been established.

    The company has not received any reports of adverse events to date.

    This recalled product, marketed as a dietary supplement for weight loss, is packaged in 14 packets containing two (2) capsules per packet, a total of 28 capsules per box, with UPC 8 938510 909013. It was sold nationwide in the USA to customers on Facebook.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should sop using it and return it. The firm is notifying its customers and arranging for return of all recalled products.

    The coach battery compartment door support metal cable may short circuit

    Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 19 model year 2019 Serenity recreational vehicles, model S24CB.

    The coach battery compartment door support metal cable may contact the positive battery terminal.

    If the cable contacts the positive battery terminal, a short may occur, increasing the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will replace the battery compartment door support metal cable with one that is covered with tubing, free of charge.

    The recall was expected to begin in February 2019.

    Harbor Freight Tools recalls propane torches

    The trigger that engages the flame can fail to disengage when the trigger is no longer pressed

    Harbor Freight Tools of Calabasas, Calif., is recalling about 150,000 Greenwood propane torches.

    The trigger that engages the flame can fail to disengage when the trigger is no longer pressed, posing a burn hazard.

    The company has received two reports of the trigger failing to disengage, including one report of a burn injury.

    This recall involves two models of the Greenwood-branded propane torches.

    The torches with no igniter have SKU number 61589 and the torches with a push button igniter have SKU number 61595.

    The torches have a steel nozzle, a flow valve, a blue grip and a black or orange hose. The SKU number is printed on a sticker located on the pipe that leads to the nozzle on the product packaging and on the manual. Only propane torches that do not have markings on the handles or brass knobs are included in this recall.

    The torches, manufactured in China were sold exclusively at Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide and online at www.harborfreight.com from November 2013, through October 2018, for between $20 and $30.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled torches and return them to any Harbor Freight Tools location for a free replacement propane torch.

      Kia recalls model year 2015-2018 Sedonas

      The front passenger airbag may deploy when a child is in the seat

      Kia Motors America is recalling 94,389 model year 2015-2018 Sedonas equipped with manually-adjusted front passenger seats.

      Over time, the Occupant Detection System (ODS) wiring harness located under the front passenger seat may break from the seat being occupied.

      If a child is in a child seat in the front seat, a broken ODS wiring harness will not prevent the front passenger air bag from deploying in the event of a crash, increasing the risk of injury to the child.

      What to do

      Kia will notify owners, and dealers will remove the wire harness clip to prevent the wiring harness from breaking. If the harness is found damaged, the front passenger seat cushion will be replaced. These repairs will be performed free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin March 19, 2019.

      Harbor Freight Tools recalls 12v rechargeable flashlights

      The flashlight can overheat while charging

      Harbor Freight Tools of Calabasas, Calif., is recalling about 500,000 80-Lumen 12v rechargeable flashlights.

      The flashlight can overheat while charging, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

      The firm has received two reports of the flashlight overheating. No injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Harbor Freight 80-Lumen 12v rechargeable flashlights. The small black flashlight has a soft white button located on the side to turn the flashlight on and off.

      The base of the flashlight is a charger that fits into any standard vehicle 12V power port to charge.

      The recalled flashlight’s SKU number -- 64109 -- can be found on the sticker label that also bears the product barcode. The flashlight is approximately 5 inches long.

      The flashlights, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide from August 2018, through January 2019, for between $2 and $4.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flashlights, and return them to any Harbor Freight Tools location for a refund in the form of a $5 Harbor Freight Tools gift card.

      TV Food of San Leandro, Calif., is recalling approximately 27,956 pounds of catfish (Yellow Hito).

      The products did not undergo import re-inspection.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

      The following products, which were shipped to a distributor in Chicago, Ill., and other locations nationwide, are being recalled:

      • 14-oz. vacuum-packed trays containing “Golden Boy, FROZEN FISH CA DONG CA TRE DONG” and “Packed By: MAI SAO Seafood Co., LTD.” printed on the label.
      • 14-oz. vacuum-packed trays containing “Golden Boy, FROZEN FISH STEAK CA TRE CAT KHUC” and “Packed By: MAI SAO Seafood Co., LTD.” printed on the label.
      • 12-oz. vacuum-packed trays containing “Golden Boy, FROZEN FISH CA DONG CA TRE DONG LAM SACH KHONG DAU” and “Packed By: MAI SAO Seafood Co., LTD.” printed on the label.

      D&D Futon Furniture of South El Monte, Calif., is recalling about 800 Sleeper Chair Folding Foam Beds.

      The mattress fails to meet the mandatory federal flammability standard for mattresses, posing a fire hazard.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves the gray D&D Futon Furniture Sleeper Chair Folding Foam Bed which can be used as a chair or bed and were sold in 24, 32, 36, and 48 inches wide sizes.

      The sleeper chair is 6 inches high when configured as a mattress.

      Forest River is recalling 92 model year 2019 Salem and Wildwood recreational trailers.

      The power cord hatch is located above the water heater exhaust, possibly resulting in the cord or the hatch melting.

      A melted cord may result in bare wiring, increasing the risk of fire.

      What to do

      Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will secure the power cord away from the water heater exhaust, free of charge.

      The recall began February 4, 2019.
