    Surtidoras Bakery recalls marble, banana and blueberry muffins

    The products may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label

    Surtidoras Bakery of Auburn, Wash., is recalling marble, banana and blueberry muffins that may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

    No illnesses have been reported to date.

    The following items, sold under the Surtidoras Bakery brand and packaged in a net weight-1.74 lb., rigid plastic clam shell container without a UPC on the label, are being recalled:

    • Marble Muffin: Sell by dates between 3/18/19 and 3/26/19.
    • Banana Muffin: Sell by dates between 3/19/19 and 3/26/19
    • Blueberry Muffin: Sell by dates between 3/18/19 and 3/26/19.

    The recalled products were sold by retail food stores and specialty Latino food stores in Western Washington between February 16 and March 2019.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled products and are allergic to milk should not consume them, but return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

    Kawasaki recalls Z900 ABS, Z900 RS ABS & Z900 RS CAFE ABS motorcycles

    The front or rear wheel may lock up when braking

    Kawasaki Motors U.S.A. is recalling 497 model year 2019 Z900 ABS, Z900 RS ABS & Z900 RS CAFE ABS motorcycles.

    The ABS hydraulic unit may have been contaminated with debris during the manufacturing process, possibly resulting in the front or rear wheel locking up when braking while riding.

    If the front or rear wheel locks up while braking, there would be an increased risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Kawasaki has notified owners, and dealers will inspect the ABS unit, replacing it as necessary free of charge.

    The recall began February 15, 2019.

    Weatherbeeta USA recalls riding saddles

    The recalled saddles were manufactured with screws that are too short

    Weatherbeeta USA of Edison, N.J., is recalling about 1,700 Collegiate riding saddles sold in the U.S. and Canada.

    The saddles were manufactured with screws that are too short, causing the girth of the saddle to detach from the tree of the saddle, posing a fall hazard to the rider.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall includes 16 models of Collegiate riding saddles. All of the saddles are branded Collegiate and have a Collegiate nail head in the head of the saddle and Collegiate brand printed on the stirrup keeper. The saddles measure between 15 and 18 inches and were sold in black or brown leather or synthetic depending on the model.

    The following models are being recalled:

    The saddles, manufactured in India, were sold at Carousel Tack Shoppe, Rocking B Saddle Shop, Strafford Saddlery and other saddlery stores nationwide and online at www.StateLineTack.com from August 2016, through October 2018, for between about $400 and $1,350.

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled Collegiate saddles and contact the firm for a free repair.

      The trailer may separate from the tow vehicle

      Forest River is recalling 54 model year 2019 Forest River Columbus recreational trailers equipped with MORryde Rubber Pin Boxes.

      The pin box mounting bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, possibly resulting in the trailer separating from the tow vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River has notify owners, and Forest River or MORryde dealers will replace the mounting bolts free of charge.

      The recall began February 25, 2019.

      Forest River is recalling 25 model year 2019 Forest River Wildwood recreational trailers.

      The federal placard indicates an incorrect front tire pressure of 110 PSI, whereas the correct PSI of the front, rear and spare tires is 80 PSI.

      Overinflating a tire may result in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River has notified owners and supplied a corrected federal placard, free of charge.

      The vehicle's door may be unable to be opened by using the external door handle

      Ferrari North America is recalling 582 model year 2017-2019 GTC4Lussos and model year 2018-2019 GTC4Lusso Ts.

      Tension on the door lock mechanism may result in the vehicle's door being unable to be opened by using the external door handle.

      If a door cannot be opened with the external handle in the case of an emergency, it can increase the risk of injury for the driver or passengers.

      What to do

      Ferrari will notify owners, and dealers will install new door locks and cables free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin April 14, 2019.

      Forest River is recalling 2,454 model year 2019 Flagstaff and Rockwood recreational trailers.

      The break-away safety switch may be improperly wired, and as a result, the trailer brakes will not apply in the event that the trailer disconnects from the tow vehicle.

      The trailer's inability to apply the brakes in the event of a separation can increase the risk of crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a new wiring harness to maintain the supply of power to the brake system free of charge.

      Choice Canning Company of Pittston, Pa., is recalling approximately 35,459 pounds of chicken fried rice.

      The products contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

      The following items, produced on February 13, 2019, and February 19, 2019, are being recalled:

      • 22 oz. printed polybag of “FUSIA Asian Inspirations, Chicken Fried Rice, Complete Skillet Meal,” with a packaging date of 2/13/2019, and a Best if Used By date of 08/13/2020 on the label.
      • 22 oz. printed polybag of “FUSIA Asian Inspirations, Chicken Fried Rice, Complete Skillet Meal,” with a packaging date of 2/19/2019, and a Best if Used By date of 08/19/2020 on the label.

      The recalled products, bearing establishment number “P-45217” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to retail locations in California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Minnesota, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard them or returned them to the place of purchase.

      Brush Art recalls WIC nutrition plates

      The plates are incorrectly labeled as microwave-safe

      Brush Art of Downs, Kan., is recalling about 98,000 WIC nutrition plates.

      The plates are incorrectly labeled as microwave-safe. They contain aluminum, which poses a fire hazard if microwaved.

      The firm has received two reports of plates catching fire while in the microwave and one report of the plate melting. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves WIC nutrition plates which illustrate the recommended distribution of the food groups.

      The plates contain dividers that include labels and colorful pictures showing the portion sizes for protein, grains, vegetables, fruits, and dairy. They are 12 inches long x 9 inches wide.

      The back of WIC Nutrition Plate has the safety label, Brush Art website and logo, date code of 7-18 and location of manufacture.

      Units that have an engraved stamp of ISP219 are not subject to recall.

      The plates, manufactured in China, were distributed as a free promotional item exclusively by WIC clinics located in Indiana from August through November 2018.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled plates, and return them to their WIC Clinic for free replacement plates. Replacement plates are being manufactured and will be sent to Indiana WIC clinics when they become available.

      H E B Grocery Company of San Antonio, Texas, is recalling about 12,000 Kitchen & Table 5.5-qt. Sauté Pans with glass lids.

      The glass lid can crack or shatter during normal use, posing a laceration hazard.

      The firm has received eight reports of the glass lid cracking or shattering, including one report of an eye injury.

      This recall involves H-E-B’s Kitchen & Table 5.5 qt. Sauté Pans with glass lids sold in red and gray. There is a Kitchen & Table logo and production date code on the bottom of the pans.

      Only pans with a date code from 05/2018 through 12/2018 are included in the recall.

      The sauté pans, manufactured in China, were sold at H E B stores in Texas and online at www.heb.com from May 2018, through January 2019, for about $30.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled sauté pans with glass lid and return them to H E B for a full refund.

      Forest River recalls Glaval Entourage and Berkshire Coach Ultra motorhomes

      The block heater cable's splice connector could become corroded, resulting in an electrical short

      Forest River is recalling 11 model year 2019 Glaval Entourage motorhomes and model year 2017-2018 Berkshire Coach Ultra motorhomes built on a Ford chassis and equipped with an engine block heater.

      Water and contaminants may get into the block heater cable's splice connector causing corrosion and damage to the connector, which can result in an electrical short.

      Prolonged corrosion of the connector may cause a resistive short, overheating or melting the wiring and increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River has notified owners, and Ford dealers will inspect the block heater cable and replace it if damage is found. If no damage is found, the terminal connector will be packed with grease and reconnected. The repairs will be performed free of charge.

      The recall began on February 6, 2019.

      The company has not received any reports to date of adverse events related to this recall
