    ACG recalls model year 2016-2017 Moke vehicles

    Incorrect windshields may have been installed in the vehicles

    American Custom Golf Cars (ACG) is recalling 72 model year 2016-2017 Moke vehicles.

    These vehicles may have been built with windshields that do not have laminated glazing.

    If the non-laminated windshield shatters in the event of a crash, it can increase the risk of injury.

    What to do

    ACG will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the windshield, replacing any that are not properly labeled AS-1 windshields, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin March 15, 2018.

    First Aid Research recalls Bacitraycin ointment

    The packaging is not child resistant as required by law

    First Aid Research of Jupiter, Fla., is recalling about 500,000 packages of Maximum Strength Bacitraycin Plus Ointment with Lidocaine.

    The packaging is not child resistant as required by the Poison Prevention Packa ging Act, posing a risk of poisoning to young children if they put it on their skin or ingest it.

    No incidents or injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves Maximum Strength Bacitraycin Plus Ointment with Lidocaine. The recalled ointment is in a white, one ounce tube with “Bacitraycin Plus” printed on the front in green. Lidocaine is one of the two active ingredients listed on the back of the tube.

    The tube measures approximately 5 inches long by 1 inch wide. The lot number is printed on the end of the tube.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately place the recalled ointment out of the reach of children and contact United Exchange, the product’s importer, for instructions on how to receive a full refund from the place of purchase.

    Model year 2018 Range Rover Velars recalled

    Fog or condensation may not clear from the windshield and windows

    Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 7,090 model year 2018 Range Rover Velars.

    The air inlet door linkages for the ventilation system may detach, preventing the system from clearing fog or condensation from the windshield and windows.

    If condensation or fog cannot be cleared, the driver's visibility may be affected, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software to control the length of movement of the ventilation actuator arm, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin April 23, 2018.

      The firm has received six reports of metal stars detaching, including five reports of lacerations.

      This recall involves Cat & Jack Girls’ Star Studded Skinny Jeans sold in sizes 4 – 18P with metal stars on the front bottom portion of the legs.

      “Cat & Jack” and the words “Super Skinny” are printed on the inside waistband of the jeans.

      Blue Ridge Beef of Eatonton, Ga., is recalling lot#GA1102 of Kitten Grind raw pet food.

      The product may be contaminated with Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes.

      The FDA has received a complaint of two kitten deaths, including one death caused by Salmonella septicemia.

      The following item, sold in 2-lb. frozen chubs, is being recalled:

      • Kitten Grind – Lot# GA1102 – Manufacturing date: 11/02/2017

      The lot, containing 20 cases or 300 chubs of product, was sold in Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee and North Carolina.

      InSinkErator recalls SinkTop switch accessory for garbage disposals

      Water can get into the power module, posing a fire hazard.

      InSinkErator of Racine, Wis., is recalling about 1.4 million InSinkErator Single Outlet SinkTop Switches.

      Water can get into the power module, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received 40 reports of water causing overheating damage to the power module and outlet beneath the sink. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves InSinkErator Single Outlet SinkTop Switches that mount to the sink or countertop and is an alternative to the traditional wall switch for a garbage disposal.

      The model numbers are 76703, STS-SOSN, 78251 and 74300, and can be found on the back of the power module. InSinkErator is written on the front of the power module.

      The switches were sold with a chrome, white, or satin nickel button/bezel as an accessory for garbage disposals.

      Garbage disposals activated by a wall switch are not affected by this recall.

      The switches, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at home improvement stores, online websites and through plumbing contractors and outlets from 2005 to October 2017 for between about $50 and $90.

      What to do

      Kansas City Baking Company recalls ready-to-eat meat products

      The products contain wheat, eggs, soy and milk, allergens not declared on the label

      The Kansas City Baking Company of North Kansas City, Mo., is recalling an undetermined amount of ready-to-eat meat products.

      The products contain wheat, eggs, soy and milk, allergens not declared on the label. In addition, they did not undergo federal inspection.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

      The following ready-to-eat items, produced from February 2017, to February 27, 2018, and do not bear any dates or codes, are being recalled:

      • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of “BREAKFAST BURRITO SAUSAGE.”
      • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of “BREAKFAST BURRITO BACON.”
      • 11-oz. foil wrapped packages of “BREAKFAST BURRITO CHORIZO.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “BACON QUICHE PIE.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “SAUSAGE QUICHE PIE.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “CHORIZO QUICHE PIE.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “SAUSAGE BACON QUICHE PIE.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “HAM QUICHE PIE.”
      • Individually wrapped packages of “HAM AND PARMESAN CROISSANT.”

      The recalled products, which do not bear the federal mark of inspection, were shipped to café locations in Kansas and Missouri.

      Harley-Davidson recalls Detachable Saddlebags

      The saddlebag latching arm may disengage

      Harley-Davidson Motor Company is recalling 895 Detachable Saddlebags, part numbers 90201561, 90201645, 90501552, 90201644, 90201555 and 90201513.

      The saddlebag latching arm, part number 90200481, may disengage, allowing the saddlebag to separate from the motorcycle during driving.

      Should that happen, the saddlebag can become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Harley-Davidson will notify owners, and dealers will install a kit onto the affected saddlebags that prevents the arm from unlatching inadvertently, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin in early March 2018.

      Woodstream recalls Mosquito Magnet traps

      The traps can become damaged if cleaned while powered on

      Woodstream Corporation of Knoxville, Tenn., is recalling about 28,000 Mosquito Magnet traps.

      The traps can become damaged if cleaning it while powered on with the company’s Quick Clear Cartridge kits, and can propel broken pieces of the regulator, posing an injury hazard to consumers.

      There has been one report of damage to the mosquito trap line regulator while using the Quick Clear Cartridge kits. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Mosquito Magnet traps and Quick Clear Cartridge kits.

      The traps are designed to attract and capture mosquitoes and other insects into the vacuum, where they dehydrate and die.

      They connect to a 20 gallon propane tank and measure about 30 to 35 inches tall, and were sold in green or green/gray combination with a black and green plastic stand.

      “Mosquito Magnet” is printed on the top front of the units, with the model name, model number and serial number printed on the back of the traps. The traps use Woodstream’s Quick Clear Cartridge kits to clean out the nozzle after changing propane tanks.

      Forest River is recalling 157 model year 2016-2018 Forest River XLR Toyhauler recreational trailers, models XLT25KW, XLT25KW-W, XLT28KW and XLT28KW-W.

      The safety chains on these vehicles do not exceed the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of the trailer.

      If the trailer becomes uncoupled, the existing safety chains may fail, allowing the trailer to separate from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the safety chains with chains that exceed the vehicle's GVWR, free of charge.

      Winnebago Industries is recalling 101 model year 2018-2019 Winnebago Revel vehicles. The roof luggage rack mounting brackets may crack, allowing the luggage rack to detach from the roof of the vehicle.

      If the luggage rack detaches from the roof while the vehicle is being driven, it can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      The remedy for this recall is still under development. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Forest River recalls model year 2018 Crossfit vehicles

      Water may enter the trailer tow module

      Forest River is recalling nine model year 2018 Crossfit vehicles, models CFB22CF, CFB22CFEB and CFB22DF, built on Ford Transit chassis equipped with a trailer tow module.

      Water can enter the tow modules and corrode the wiring causing issues such as rapidly flashing turn signals, loss of instrument panel display, an electrical short and possibly the deployment of seatbelt pretensioner.

      An electrical short can increase the risk of a fire. Turn signal, instrument cluster or seatbelt pretensioner problems can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River has notified owners, and Ford or Lincoln dealers will add a drainage hole in the driver's door stepwell and incorporate a fuse into the vehicle's wiring harness, free of charge.

      The recall began on February 27, 2018.

      Goodman Manufacturing recalls modular blowers

      The labels on the serial plate have incorrect electrical information

      Goodman Manufacturing Company of Houston, Texas, is recalling about 1,730 modular blowers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The labels on the serial plate have incorrect electrical information that could result in installers and servicers using undersized wiring or incorrect fuse/circuit breaker parts, posing a fire hazard.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves modular blowers used with heating and cooling systems sold both separately and as part of complete heating and cooling systems under the Goodman, Amana, and Daikin brand names.

      The recalled products have model numbers beginning MBR1200AA, MBR1600AA, MBVC1600AA and MBVC2000AA, and serial numbers beginning 1704, 1705 and 1708. Some recalled modular blowers were installed with no brand name listed.

      Consumers can identify these recalled units with the above model and serial numbers. Model and serial number labels are located on the front panel of the unit.

      The blowers, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at heating and cooling equipment dealers nationwide from April 2017, through October 2017, for between $350 and $750.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled modular blowers and contact Goodman for a free inspection and to receive a new product label and electrical instructions. For any units that were installed incorrectly, Goodman will replace the wiring and/or

      Goodman recalls air conditioners and heat pumps

      The outdoor fan motors can overheat

      Goodman Company of Houston, Texas, is recalling about 537,400 Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners/Heat Pumps (PTACs) sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The outdoor fan motors can overheat, posing burn and fire hazards.

      The firm has received nine reports of PTACs catching on fire, including one report of smoke inhalation with medical attention.

      This recall involves Goodman, Amana, York International and Energy Knight branded Packaged Terminal Air Conditioners and Heat Pumps (PTACs).

      The recalled units are beige and the brand name is printed on most of the units’ control covers.

      Models that begin with the following prefixes are included in this recall: EKTC15, EKTH15, PMC15, PMH12, PMH15, PTC15, PTH12, PTH15, UCYB15 and UCYH15.

      Only units with the first four digits of the serial numbers in the range between 1001 and 1709 are affected.

      The model number and serial number are located on a label behind the front cover of the unit.

      Most of the recalled PTAC units are installed in hotels, motels, schools, apartment buildings and commercial spaces to provide room climate control.

      The PTAC units, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Goodman and heating and cooling dealers nationwide from January 2010, through February 2018, for between $700 and $1,400.

      What to do

      Consumers should contact Goodman for a free repair kit and installation by an authorized technician.

      Commercial owners are being contacted directly and will be provided with free repair kits.

      Double Cola recalls Cherry Ski

      The product contains "Red #40" and "Yellow #5," allergens not declared on the label

      The Double Cola Company is recalling approximately 200 cases of Cherry SKI product which are labeled incorrectly.

      Only the Cherry SKI products with the new design are being recalled, which were delivered to the southern Illinois, Evansville, IN and Winchester, OH markets. No other products of the Double Cola Company are being recalled.

      The cans show "Red #4" under ingredients, which is incorrect. The ingredients should include "Red #40" and "Yellow #5,” dyes that may cause an allergic reaction.

      No medical illnesses or harmful effects have been reported thus far.

      The recalled product, coded A8023EV10:25 through A8023EV11:40, was delivered to the southern Ill., Evansville, Ind., and Winchester, Ohio markets.

      Graco Children’s Products of Atlanta, Ga., is recalling about 39,200 Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 Highchairs sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The highchair’s rear legs can pivot out of position making the chair unstable and posing a fall hazard to a child in the highchair.

      The firm has received 38 reports of the rear leg pivoting out of position, including five injuries to children who got bumps and bruises when their highchair fell over when they were in it.

      This recall involves Graco Table2Table 6-in-1 highchairs with model number 1969721.

      The 6-in-1 highchairs convert to six different modes, including a traditional highchair, a booster seat and toddler chair and table.

      The highchair’s cushion is white with gold and gray polka dots. The model number is printed on a label on the underside of the toddler seat and on a label on the back of the booster seat.

      Graco and Table2Table highchair are also printed on the label on the underside of the toddler seat.

      The highchairs were sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide from October 2016, through December 2017, for about $100.

      What to do

      Double Insight of Canada is recalling about 104,000 Gem 65 8-in-1 multicookers.

      A manufacturing defect can cause the multicooker to overheat and melt on the underside, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received 107 reports of overheating, five resulting in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Gem 65 8-in-1 model multicookers, a multifunctional, programmable cooking appliance, which includes the functions of roasting, baking, stewing, slow cooking, rice cooking, searing/sautéing, steaming and food warming.

      Instant Pot is printed on the front of the multicookers. Gem 65 8-in-1 and a batchcode of 1728, 1730, 1731, 1734 or 1746 are printed on the rating label on the underside of the product.

      The multicookers, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Walmart stores nationwide and online at www.walmart.com from August 2017, through January 2018, for about $80.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled multicookers, unplug the unit and return it to Walmart to receive a free replacement.
