    REV recalls American Coach American Eagle and American Heritage motorhomes

    The rear air deflector may detach from the vehicle

    REV Recreation Group is recalling 163 model year 2016-2019 American Coach American Eagle and model year 2016 American Heritage motorhomes equipped with factory-installed rear air deflectors.

    The center mounting plate for the rear air deflector may have been installed incorrectly with screws that may loosen, possibly resulting in the air deflector detaching from the vehicle.

    If the rear air deflector detaches from the motorhome, it may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    REV will notify owners, and dealers will properly secure the rear air deflector to the fiberglass cap with rivets free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin September 10, 2019.

    The Body Control Module may indicate an inaccurate fuel level

    Alfa Romeo is recalling 21,915 model year 2018-2019 Giulia and Stelvio vehicles.

    The Body Control Module (BCM) may indicate an inaccurate fuel level that displays higher than the actual amount.

    If the vehicle is operated without enough fuel in the tank, it could stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Alfa Romeo will notify owners, and dealers will update the BCM software free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin September 13, 2019.

      The products were produced, packed and distributed without undergoing federal inspection.

      There no no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

      The following items, items produced July 30, 2018, through July 31, 2019, are being recalled:

      • 136-oz (8.5-lbs) plastic bags containing approximately 100 pieces of “TOP TASTE PORK & VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS.”
      • 136-oz (8.5-lbs) plastic bags containing approximately 100 pieces of “TOP TASTE CHICKEN & VEGETABLE DUMPLINGS.”

      The recalled products, bearing establishment number “EST. 19856” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to wholesalers in New York.

      PreGel America of Concord, N.C., is recalling a single lot of Lemon 50, a powdered flavoring.

      The product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No illnesses or injuries have been reported to date.

      The recalled item, with product code 306038 and lot number 381081U279N located on the back of the packaging, is packaged in 2-kg (4.4-lbs) bags, eight bags per case.

      It was produced on April 18, 2018, and has a best before date of April 17, 2020.

      Lemon 50 was sold in Arkansas, California, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Vermont, Washington, Wisconsin, Canada, Guatemala and St. Lucia.

      Kia Motors America is recalling 11,423 model year 2019 Optimas equipped with Gamma 1.6L Turbo-GDI or Theta II 2.0L Turbo-GDI engines.

      A software error in the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) system may cause the braking assist function to not engage when a stationary vehicle is detected.

      Improper intervention of the Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist can increase the risk of a crash.

      Super Jumper recalls trampolines

      The welds on the metal railings can fail, posing fall and injury hazards

      Super Jumper of South San Francisco, Calif., is recalling about 24,000 Super Jumper trampolines sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The welds on the metal railings (legs) can fail, posing fall and injury hazards.

      The firm has received 97 reports of the welds on the metal railings breaking, resulting in four minor injuries.

      This recall involves Super Jumper 14-foot trampolines, and 14-foot and 16-foot combo trampolines with enclosures sold without reinforcement clamps.

      The Super Jumper logo is printed on the center of the trampolines’ mat. The trampolines have a black mat, gold springs and a blue pad covering the springs.

      The 14-foot models have six metal legs and the 16-foot combo has eight metal legs.

      The trampolines, manufactured in China, were sold online at Wayfair.com, Amazon.com, Hayneedle.com, and Overstock.com from November 2011, through June 2019, for between $200 and $400.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled trampolines and contact Super Jumper for a free repair kit which consists of reinforcement clamps that clamp around the trampolines’ welded joints.

      London Bridge recalls sock and wrist rattle sets

      Rattles sewn inside can detach, posing a choking hazard

      London Bridge is recalling about 7,500 infant sock and wrist rattle sets.

      Rattles sewn inside the socks and wristbands can detach, posing a choking hazard to young children.

      The firm has received one report of the stuffed rattle portions detaching. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves a set of matching baby socks and wristband which contain a small rattle sewn inside the wristband and the toe of each sock.

      The sets were sold in various colors and styles, including strawberry, ladybug, animals and sports themes ans is labeled for ages 0-6 months.

      The hang tag on the product has the London Bridge name and logo and ‘Baby Wrist Rattle and Rattle Sock Set 0-6 months.’

      The back of the hang tag includes fiber content and care information, Batch #608315, Date code October 2018 and the Item # (LB5000, LB5001, LB5002, LB5003, LB5004, LB5005, LB5006 or LB5007).

      The sock and wrist rattle sets, manufactured in China, were sold at independent boutique stores nationwide from January 2019, through May 2019,  for about $7.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the sock and rattle sets, take them away from children and return them to the store where they were purchased or contact London Bridge to receive a full refund.

      The airbags may be deactivated or deploy inadvertently

      Porsche Cars North America is recalling 7,517 model year 2016-2017 911s & Boxsters, and model year 2016 Caymans & Panameras.

      The airbag Electronic Control Unit (ECU) may have a defective power supply capacitor that can result in airbag deactivation or inadvertent deployment of the airbags.

      Deactivated airbags increase the risk of injury. Inadvertent deployment of the airbags increases the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will install new software and replace the air bag ECU as necessary free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin September 15, 2019.

      Subaru of America is recalling 166 model year 2019 Ascents.

      The center support bolts for the driveshaft may loosen, possibly resulting in the front portion of the driveshaft disconnecting.

      If the front end of the driveshaft separates, it can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driveshaft assembly, including the center support brace, free of charge.

      The recall was expected to begin July 26, 2019.

      Tristar Products recalls magnetic trivets

      Magnets can detach from the trivets, posing an ingestion hazard to children

      Tristar Products (an Authorized Partner) of Fairfield, N.J., is recalling about 350,000 magnetic trivets.

      Magnets can detach from the trivets, posing an ingestion hazard to children.

      When two or more magnets are swallowed, they can link together inside the intestines and clamp onto body tissues, causing intestinal obstructions, perforations, sepsis and death. Internal injury from magnets can pose serious lifelong health effects.

      The firm has received one report of magnets detaching from a trivet and being swallowed by a child. The child suffered intestinal perforations and blockage, requiring surgery.

      This recall involves Tristar Products (an Authorized Partner) magnetic trivets sold with Copper Chef 10-Piece Cerami-Tech Nonstick Cookware Sets and sold separately.

      The trivets attach to the bottom of hot metal cookware, allowing it to be placed on tables.

      The trivets have four magnets encased in silicone and come in copper, burgundy, blue, and black colors.

      Each set includes an 11 inch square pot with glass lid, steamer tray, fry basket, 11 inch fry pan with glass press, 9.5 inch square pot with glass lid, a cookbook, and two magnetic trivets.

      The trivets, manufactured in China, were sold by QVC from October 2017, through October of 2018, for between $75 and $120 when sold as part of the cookware set and $10 when sold separately.

      What to do
