Recalls in December 2018

Chukar Cherries of Prosser, Wash., is expanding its earlier recall of Ultra Dark Chocolate products.

The products may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

No allergic reaction has been reported to date.

The following products, sold in plastic pouches, net wt. 7.5-oz. with UPC codes and Best By dates on the back side of the package, are being recalled:

The recalled products were sold at retail stores in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Automobili Lamborghini is recalling 1,152 model year 2011-2014 Gallardo Coupes and Spyders.

The Engine Control Unit software may erase trouble codes after the ignition is turned off, not illuminating warning lamps and preventing drivers from being warned of safety system problems the next time that they are driving.

If the warning lamps do not indicate a safety system failure such as an engine or fuel injection system malfunction, continuing to drive the vehicle with a faulty system and no warning can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

What to do

Lamborghini will notify owners, and dealers will reflash the engine software with the appropriate procedure, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin December 14,2018.

Maserati North America is recalling 6,301 model year 2014-2015 Maserati Quattroportes and Ghiblis.

The fuel lines may have been damaged during production, possibly resulting in a fuel leak.

A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

What to do

Maserati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel line assemblies, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin January 15, 2019.

Ducati North America is recalling 1,663 model year 2018-2019 Ducati Panigale V4, V4 S, and V4 SP motorcycles.

The oil cooler output port may crack, causing an oil leak which can increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the oil cooler, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin January 24, 2019.

Foremost Groups of East Hanover, N.J., is recalling about 700 glass shower doors and panels.

The pivot hinges can fail and cause the glass door panel to separate from its frame, posing impact and injury hazards.

The firm has received 86 reports of incidents, including 73 reports of the pivot hinges failing and the glass doors separating from their frame and falling and 13 reports of the glass doors separating from their frame and shattering. No injuries have been reported.

This recall involves the pivot hinges on all Cove and Suave models of shower doors and panels.

The recalled pivot hinges were delivered with shower doors and panels which are made of glass and have a silver, brushed nickel or oil rubbed bronze metal frame and door handle.

The shower doors and panels, manufactured in China, were sold at Home Depot, Hoods Discount Home Center, Menards and other stores nationwide and online at Build.com, Houzz.com, Wayfair.com and other websites from January 2018, through July 2018, for between $800 and $1,100.

What to do

Polaris Industries is recalling 11,371 model year 2015-2016 Polaris Slingshot, Slingshot SL and Slingshot SL LE motorcycles equipped with a backup camera.

The back-up camera may fail internally, possibly melting the voltage regulator and blowing the fuse for that circuit, thereby preventing the taillight from functioning properly.

The melted voltage regulator can increase the risk of a fire. The loss of a tail light can increase the risk of a crash.

What to do

Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the back-up camera, as necessary, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin December 6, 2018.

Grand Design RV is recalling 119 model year 2019 Grand Design Imagine recreational trailers, built on D28H, D35, D40 or D44 trailer axles.

The inner hub bearings may not have been sufficiently greased, which can cause them to overheat and fail.

If the bearings overheat, the hub may fail, affecting handling and increasing the risk of a crash.

What to do

Grand Design will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and repair the hubs and bearings, as necessary, free of charge.

The recall is expected to begin December 19, 2018.

Kwik Trip of La Crosse, Wis., is recalling Kitchen Cravings Strawberry and Mixed Berry Parfaits.

The products may contain traces of cashews or almonds, allergens not declared on the label.

No adverse reactions have been reported.

• The Kitchen Cravings Strawberry Parfait comes in an 8.25-oz. cup, with UPC CODE 3977918435.
• The Kitchen Cravings Mixed Berry Parfait comes an 8.25 oz. cup, with UPC CODE 3977918436.

The recalled products were sold at Kwik Trip convenience stores in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa (Kwik Star) with a sell by date on or before December 6, 2018.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled products and are allergic to cashews or almonds should return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.
