    The products may be microbially contaminated

    Beaumont Bio Med is recalling its entire aqueous/alcohol-based product line for human use.

    The firm's contract manufacturer, King Bio, has recalled its products due to possible microbial contamination.

    The administration or use of drug products with microbial contamination could potentially result in increased infections that may require medical intervention, and could result in infections that could be life threatening to certain individuals.

    The firm has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall to date.

    The following products, distributed throughout the U.S. to wholesalers, health professionals and retail establishments and online, are being recalled. Each product is in a 2 Fl Oz Amber Glass and is an oral spray.

    The diesel fuel tank may be damaged and leak fuel

    Erwin Hymer Group North America is recalling 33 model year 2017-2018 Roadtrek RS Adventurous XL, E-trek XL, RS Adventurous, and E-trek motorhomes equipped with a driver's side second row captain seat option.

    The diesel fuel tank may have been damaged during installation of the second row seat pedestal.

    A damaged fuel tank may leak fuel, increasing the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Erwin Hymer will notify owners, and Mercedes dealers will inspect the diesel fuel tank, replacing it as necessary, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin in September 2018.

      The vehicle's high pressure liquid propane hose may leak

      Winnebago Industries is recalling about 1,654 model year 2012-2013 Winnebago Era, View & Via motorhomes. and Itasca Navion & Reyo motorhomes.

      The high pressure liquid propane hoses may harden at the crimp fitting, possibly resulting in a propane leak.

      A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the propane hose, replacing it as necessary, free of charge.

      The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Installation of the sofa may have resulted in damage to the vehicle's rear brake line, possibly reducing braking performance.

      Damage to the rear brake line can increase the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

      H&C Food of Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling Fuzhou Fish Balls that may contain wheat, pork, egg and crustaceans, allergens not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been reported to date.

      The frozen fish balls are in a red and white plastic bag, NET WT: 14OZ (400g); UPC: 6 953006 4 50093.

      The Fuzhou Fish Balls are in two sizes of blue and white plastic bags: Net WT: 14 OZ (400g), UPC: 6 953640 050017, and Net WT:4.5 lbs. (2043g), UPC: 6 953640 05000.

      The recalled products were sold at supermarkets in Queens, N.Y.

      The humidifiers can overheat while in use

      Hawthorne Hydroponics of Vancouver, Wash., is recalling about 470 Ideal-Air 175-pint industrial grade humidifiers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The humidifiers can overheat while in use, posing fire and shock hazards.

      The firm is aware of five incidents of the humidifier overheating. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Ideal-Air 175-pint industrial grade humidifiers that are black and have the “Ideal-Air” logo printed near the bottom.

      The humidifiers, manufactured in China, were sold at GreenCoast Hydroponics, Growers House, Hydro Pros, Urban Garden Center, Red Flag Products stores and other gardening stores nationwide from October 2017, through June 2018, for about $500.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled humidifiers and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund in the form of store credit.

      Camber Pharmaceuticals recalls montelukast tablets

      The package contains the incorrect medication

      Camber Pharmaceuticals of Piscataway, N.J., is recalling one lot of sealed bottles labeled as montelukast sodium tablets.

      The bottle contains losartan potassium tablets.

      The mix-up may pose a safety risk as taking losartan tablets when not prescribed has the potential to cause renal dysfunction, elevated potassium levels and low blood pressure.

      This risk is especially high for pregnant women taking the allergy and asthma medication montelukast because losartan, which is indicated to treat high blood pressure, could harm or kill the fetus.

      Camber has not received any adverse event reports associated with this recall.

      The following product is being recalled:

      • Montelukast Sodium Tablets 10 mg 30 ct., Lot number: MON17384, Expiration date: 12/31/2019, NDC: 31722-726-30

      Montelukast sodium tablets are beige, rounded square-shaped, film coated tablets that are imprinted with “I” on one side and “114” on the reverse.

      Losartan tablets are white and oval-shaped with the letter “I” imprinted on one side and the number “5” imprinted on the reverse.

      What to do

      Patients should contact their health care provider or pharmacist to determine if their medicine has been recalled.

      They should also look at the drug name and company name on the label of their prescription bottle.

      If the information is not on the bottle, patients should contact the pharmacy that dispensed the medicine.

      Rust-Oleum recalls countertop coating

      The product violates the federal lead paint ban

      Rust-Oleum of Vernon Hills, Ill., is recalling about 1,800 containers of Rust-Oleum black satin countertop coating.

      The coating contains levels of lead that exceed the federal lead paint ban. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves one-quart (32 fluid-oz.) containers of Rust-Oleum black satin countertop coating with product number 263209 and batch code P7612D.

      The product number and batch code are printed on the bottom of the can. The can is silver and the label on the can is green and white.

      The label on the can reads “countertop coating,” “black satin,” “renew laminate surfaces,” and “moisture & scratch resistant.”

      The countertop coating, manufactured in the U.S., was sold at Ace Hardware and other stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com and Walmart.com from June 2017, through February 2018, for about $20.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled countertop coating and contact Rust-Oleum. Consumers who have not used the countertop coating will receive a full refund plus $25 to return the product to Rust-Oleum.

      Consumers who have applied the recalled countertop coating will receive a repair kit or replacement of the affected surfaces.

      Core Health & Fitness recalls Stairmaster Stepmill exercise equipment

      The steps can accelerate rapidly without input from the user

      Core Health & Fitness of Vancouver, Wash., is recalling about 3,500 StairMaster-branded 8G Gauntlet Stepmill machines.

      The steps can accelerate rapidly without input from the user, posing a fall hazard.

      The firm has received reports of 52 incidents of steps accelerating unexpectedly, resulting in 12 minor injuries.

      This recall involves StairMaster-branded 8G Gauntlet Stepmill machines with model numbers 9-5250 & 9-5270 sold in red, black and red/yellow. The model number is printed on the base of the unit.

      The recalled machines consist of a revolving staircase and a backlit LCD console.

      The date code is in the YYWW format (1816 means year 2018, week 16). The date code is the section of the serial number at digits 8 – 11. The date code range for SKU 9-5250 is from 1734 to 1823, and from 1813 to 1816 for SKU 9-5270.

      Stairmaster is printed on both sides of the unit and on the shrouds.

      The exercise machines, manufactured in China, were sold at Core Health & Fitness distributors nationwide from October 2017, through June 2018, for between $7,500 and $9,950.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled exercise machines and contact Core Health & Fitness for a free repair. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      The strip light’s fluorescent bulb can overheat

      PetSmart of Phoenix, Ariz., is recalling about 23,400 reptile strip light fixtures sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The strip light’s fluorescent bulb can overheat causing the hood on the light fixture to ignite, posing a fire hazard.

      The company has received six reports of the hood on the recalled light fixtures igniting.

      This recall involves 20-inch and 30-inch All Living Things reptile strip light fixtures that simulate natural daylight and are attached to the top of the reptile’s terrarium.

      The 20-inch fixture has UPC number 73725773305 and the 30-inch fixture has UPC number 73725773306 printed on the packaging.

      The light fixtures, manufactured in China, were sold at PetSmart stores nationwide from March 2017, through July 2018, for about $35 (20-inch) and $40 (30-inch).

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled light fixtures and return them to any PetSmart store for a full refund.
