    Sanders recalls Fudge Mini Bites

    The product may contain almonds, an allergen not declared on the label

    Sanders is recalling its Milk Chocolate Covered Fudge Mini Bites that may contain contain almonds, an allergen not declared on the label.

    No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

    The recalled 3.75oz Milk Chocolate Covered Fudge Mini Bites were distributed throughout several Michigan retail stores.

    The recalled product comes in a 3.75-oz.,, gray and black package marked with lot 8109 FL and Best By Date January 31, 2019 ink-jetted on the rear, and was sold in retail stores throughout Michigan.

    What to do

    Amerisun recalls snow blowers

    The snow blower may get stuck in drive mode

    Amerisun of Itasca, Ill., is recalling about 46,000 PowerSmart snow blowers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

    The pulley bolt can loosen and cause the snow blower to get stuck in drive mode, posing an injury hazard.

    The firm has received 20 reports of loose pulley bolts -- 15 in the U.S. and five in Canada -- including eight reports of the snow blower getting stuck in drive mode. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves model years 2015 – 2017 Amerisun PowerSmart gas-powered 2 Stage snow blowers.

    The snow blowers are red and black and have “ POWERSMART ” printed on the driving controls plastic cover.

    The model number can be found on the PowerSmart sticker located on the metal auger housing just below the chute. The serial number can be found on the bar code sticker below the PowerSmart sticker.

    The snow blowers, manufactured in China, were sold at Home Depot stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Ebay.com, Homedepot.com, Lowes.com, Walmart.com, and other websites from July 2015, through February 2018, for between $500 and $800.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled snow blowers and inspect their snow blower to determine if it has a loose pulley bolt. Consumers with a loose pulley bolt should contact Amerisun for a free repair kit or for instructions on how to get the bolt tightened free of charge.

      Model year 2019 Keystone Cougar fifth-wheel trailers recalled

      The propane compartment may not be sealed properly

      Keystone RV Company is recalling 95 model year 2019 Keystone Cougar fifth-wheel trailers, models 28GS and 27RLS.

      The propane compartment may not have been sealed properly during manufacturing, which if there were a propane leak, could allow the propane gas to seep into the living quarters.

      A propane leak into the living area can increase the risk of injury or fire.

      What to do

      Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will seal the inside of the LP compartment along the floor line and side wall, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin July 9, 2018.

      Vernier Software & Technology recalls circuit boards

      The circuit board switches can overheat, posing a burn hazard

      Vernier Software & Technology of Beaverton, Ore., is recalling about 4,200 Vernier Circuit Board 2 ( VCB2).

      Two switches on the VCB2 can get stuck between positions causing them to short out and overheat. If the switches overheat, the metal case of the switch can become hot, posing a burn hazard.

      The firm has received 10 reports of circuit board switches overheating. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall only involves the green-colored Vernier Circuit Board 2 that is 10 inches wide by 6.5 inches high, and is used to teach students about the fundamentals of electrical circuits.

      The Vernier name, logo, product name (Vernier Circuit Board 2) and order code (VCB2) are printed in the upper right corner of the product.

      Recalled units were shipped between August 2015 through April 10, 2018 represented with the different revision mark codes of ‘VCB2 REV 1 PPRL 2015’ and ‘VCB2 REV 1A PPRL 2015’ printed below the pins 35, 30, and 31 on the lower section of the product.

      The circuit boards, manufactured in the U.S., were sold online directly to customers by Vernier Software & Technology, by phone, catalog and dealers from August 2015, through April 2018, for about $130.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled circuit boards and return them to the firm for a free repair. Instructions for returning the units are available on the firm’s website. Vernier is contacting known customers directly.

      Porsche Cars North America is recalling three model year 2018 Porsche Macan S and Macan vehicles.

      The vehicles have a control unit that may fail and prevent safety-related functions such as driver display alerts and possibly impair drivability and post-crash functions.

      Failure of the control unit may increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected control unit, free of charge.

      GE Lighting recalls LED tube lamps

      The lamps could pose electric shock and electrocution hazards

      GE Lighting of East Cleveland, Ohio, is recalling about 46,000 packages of two LED tube lamps, or 92,000 individual lamps.

      The pins on one end of the lamp can be energized during installation/removal, posing electric shock and electrocution hazards.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves GE Lighting’s 31243 LED13T8U840 LED two pack tube lamps, which are most often used in garages, basements, workshops and utility rooms.

      The GE logo and model information are printed on a label near the tube’s base.

      The softgell capsules are out of sequence

      Allergan is recalling one lot of TAYTULLA birth control sample packs.

      A physician has reported that four placebo capsules were placed out of order; specifically, the first four days of therapy had four non-hormonal placebo capsules instead of active capsules.

      As a result of this packaging error, oral contraceptive capsules, that are taken out of sequence, may place the user at risk for contraceptive failure and unintended pregnancy.

      The TAYTULLA pill pack is a 28 count blister card that has 24 “active” pink softgel capsules (with hormones) with “WC” printed on the outer shell in white to be taken for 24 days, followed by 4 maroon softgel capsules (without hormones) also imprinted with “WC” on one side to be taken for the next four days.

      Starcraft RV is recalling 102 model year 2011 Starcraft BC and BD and model year 2013 Comet BA, BB and BC camping trailers equipped with a Lippert Power Roof Lift Mechanism.

      The manual over-ride feature on these power lifts may be misused, potentially resulting in torque from the drive motor damaging the lift mechanism.
