    Yangtze Store recalls women’s scarves

    The garments fail to meet the federal clothing flammability standard

    Yangtze Store of Canada is recalling about 640 women’s scarves.

    The scarves fail to meet the federal flammability standard for clothing textiles, posing a risk of burn injuries to consumers.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall involves 100 percent silk Yangtze Store women’s scarves measuring about 67 inches long by 22 inches wide.

    The scarves were sold in black, fuchsia, green, light blue, navy, red, taupe, turquoise, pink, purple and white.

    On Amazon.com, the recalled scarves were sold as “Long Georgette Silk Scarf Butterfly Print.”

    The scarves, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com from January 2017, through April 2018, for between $13 and $15.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled scarves and contact Yangtze Store for a full refund. Yangtze Store is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Golden Star Wholesale recalls ALReef Dried Apricots Sour

      The product may contain sulfites not declared on the label

      Golden Star Wholesale of Troy, Mich., is recalling ALReef Dried Apricots Sour that may contain sulfites, which are not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

      The recalled product, which is uncoded, was sold in a 12-oz., clear plastic container between November 2017, and May 2018, at retail stores in Michigan, New York, Minnesota, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Florida, North Carolina, Virginia, Oregon, Massachusetts, Ohio, Texas and Missouri.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase.

      Ashley Furniture recalls floor lamps

      The lamp's label contains incorrect light bulb use information

      Ashley Furniture Industries of Arcadia, Wis., is recalling about 1,000 Amnon floor lamps sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The label on the lamp states that consumers can use 40-watt light bulbs in the product. However, the socket is only designed to support 25-watt light bulbs Use of incorrect wattage light bulbs can melt the power switch, posing a burn hazard.

      The company has received seven incident reports, including six in the U. S. of the lamp’s power switch melting with four of those resulting in minor property damage. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Signature Design by Ashley Amnon floor lamps with a floor switch and 12 light bulb sockets.

      The portable, electric floor lamps are metal with a bronze finish and measure about 64 inches tall.

      Model number L207971 is printed on a label on the underside of the lamp’s base.

      The lamps, manufactured in India, were sold at Ashley Furniture Home stores, independently owned and operated furniture stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Ashleyfurniture.com, Walmart.com, Wayfair.com and other online retailer websites from February 2017, through April 2018, for between $160 and $300.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled floor lamps and contact Ashley Furniture for instructions on how to receive a full refund of the purchase price. Ashley Furniture is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Del Monte Fresh Produce recalls vegetable trays

      The products may be contaminated with Cyclospora

      Del Monte Fresh Produce N.A. is recalling a limited quantity of vegetable trays containing fresh broccoli, cauliflower, celery sticks, carrots, and dill dip.

      The products may be contaminated with Cyclospora, a parasite that can cause the intestinal illness Cyclosporiasis. The Centers for Disease Control says the infection usually is not life threatening.

      Symptoms may include watery diarrhea (most common), loss of appetite, weight loss, cramping, bloating, increased gas, nausea, fatigue.

      The products, which may be linked to a recent cluster of illnesses, were distributed for sale in clear plastic containers with the following labels and markings:

      The hanging hardware can break and allow the decor to fall

      The Uttermost Company of Rocky Mount, Va., is recalling about 17,000 mirrors and art & wall décor.

      The hanging hardware can break and allow the decor to fall, posing an injury hazard to bystanders.

      The company has received 13 reports of the hanging hardware breaking and causing mirrors and wall décor to fall from walls, including one injury when a mirror fell and caused a laceration to a consumer’s leg.

      This recall involves various types of mirrors, art, and wall décor sold with adjustable j-hook hanging hardware.

      The recalled hardware has item number 1703, 1704, 1705 or 1706 printed on the back bottom portion of the j-hook and on the hardware’s box.

      The recalled adjustable j-hooks measure approximately 3.5 inches long and 0.75 inches wide.

      The mirrors, art, and wall décor, manufactured in China, were sold at Gallery Furniture, Mathis Brothers, Matter Brothers Furniture, RC Willey, Star Furniture stores and other stores nationwide and online at 5thAvenueDesigns.com, Bellacor.com, Build.com, LampsPlus.com, Wayfair.com and other websites from June 2017, through March 2018, for between $50 and $200.

      The tractor’s Rollover Protective Structure can fail to protect the operator

      A&I is recalling about 6,500 A& I tractor canopies sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The canopies do not meet design specifications and can cause the tractor’s Rollover Protective Structure (ROPS) to fail to protect the operator in a rollover accident, posing an injury hazard.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves steel A&I tractor canopies sold in green, blue, orange, red and dark red.

      The recalled canopies are sold as a separate attachment that can be bolted to a tractor’s ROPS and come with mounting brackets and hardware.

      The canopies, manufactured in Canada, were sold at John Deere dealers and non-John Deere resellers nationwide from September 2016, through April 2018, for about $350.

      Lorex recalls video monitors

      The video monitor’s batteries can overheat, swell and expand

      Lorex Technology is recalling about 26,300 video monitors sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The video monitor’s batteries can overheat, swell and expand and cause the battery cover to open or come off and expose hot batteries, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

      The firm has received 328 reports of the monitor battery overheating and/or expanding. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Lorex brand video monitors models LW2751, LW2752 and LW2962H used with surveillance video systems.

      The video monitors are black and were sold in two sizes: 7 inches wide by 5 inches tall, and 9 inches wide by 6 inches tall. The video monitors contain a blue lithium polymer battery. “LOREX” is printed on the top left of the monitor screen.

      The model and serial numbers are printed on the top or on the back panel of the monitors. Only monitors with the following model and serial numbers are included in the recall.

      Model year 2017 Range Rovers, Range Rover Sports and Discoverys recalled

      The fuel gauge on these vehicles may give inaccurate readings

      Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 1,917 model year 2017 Land Rover Range Rovers, Range Rover Sports, and Discoverys.

      The fuel gauge on these vehicles may indicate that the fuel level is low and illuminate the warning lamp, when the fuel tank actually has more fuel.

      The engine management software may also cut off the engine when the vehicle has traveled approximately 17 more miles.

      An engine shut-off can cause loss of power brake assistance, and an engine stall would cause a loss of drive power. Both scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will install a software update to correct the fuel level reading, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin July 16, 2018.

      Ketra recalls recessed downlights

      The power supply connectors can have incorrect wiring

      Ketra, Inc., of Austin, Texas, is recalling about 3,400 Ketra D3 recessed downlights.

      The downlights power supply connectors can have incorrect wiring, posing an electric shock hazard to the user.

      The firm has received two reports of incorrect wiring found in the downlights by an electrician.

      This recall involves the Ketra D3 recessed downlights produced between November 4, 2016, and March 14, 2018. The date code is located on a sticker attached to each unit and is in the format KWWYY representing WW-work week and YY-year of manufacture. Only downlights with date codes between K4816 and K1118 are included in this recall.

      The Ketra D3 downlight is typically installed behind a ceiling and the light generated by the LED illuminates the space below.

      The light fixture enclosure measures 18.5 inches by 10 inches by 4 inches, is dark gray and black, and weighs approximately eight pounds.

      The downlight, manufactured in China, was sold at authorized Ketra lighting distributors and specialty audio/video stores nationwide from November 2016, through April 2018, for between $550 and $750.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled downlights and contact the firm to schedule a free inspection and, if needed, repair by a technician.

      Consumers should not try to inspect or repair the units themselves. Warnings and instructions must be followed to disconnect power prior to servicing, removing or replacing the recalled products.

      Forest River is recalling 265 model year 2017-2019 Forest River Vengeance Rogue recreational trailers, models VGT25V-73 and VGT25V-73-W.

      The vehicles may be missing side marker lights in the middle of each side, reducing the visibility of the trailers to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River has notified owners, and dealers will install the missing amber side marker lights, free of charge.

      The recall began June 7, 2018.

      The federal placard contains incorrect tire inflation information

      Forest River is recalling 32 model year 2019 Coachmen Viking recreational trailers, models T17BHS and T17FQS.

      The federal placard states that the tires have an inflation pressure of 65 PSI, when they actually require 75 PSI.

      The incorrect placard could cause operators to underinflate the tires, possibly causing tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
