    Ducati recalls motorcycles with Brembo front brake master cylinders

    The cylinders may fail, leading to the loss of front braking ability

    Ducati North America is recalling 8,000 model year 2015-2018 1299 motorcycles (including STD, S, FE and SL models), Monster 1200 motorcycles (including S and R models), Multistrada motorcycles (including S and PP models), model year 2015-2017 Panigale R, model year 2016-2018 XDaviel S motorcycles and model year 2017-2018 Scrambler 800 Café Racer motorcycles.

    The motorcycles are equipped with Brembo front brake master cylinders that may fail, resulting in the loss of front braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will replace the front brake master cylinder piston, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin February 15, 2018.

    Hempler Foods Group recalls pepperoni sticks

    The product may be contaminated with piecesof metal

    Hempler Foods Group of Ferndale, Wash., is recalling approximately 4,068 pounds of pepperoni sticks that may be contaminated with extraneous material -- specifically pieces of metal.

    There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products

    The following item, produced on October 10, 2017, is being recalled:

    • 2.25-lb. vacuum-packed packages containing “HEMPLER’S FAMILY CLASSIC PEPPERONI NATURAL SMOKE FLAVORING ADDED” with a “packed on” date of 10/10/2017 and case code 59716.

    The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. 6410” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was distributed for institutional use and shipped to retail locations in Eastern Washington.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

    Condies Foods recalls Veggie Cups

    The product may contain milk and egg, allergens not declared on the label

    Condies Foods of Kearns, Utah, is recalling 166 cases of Veggie Cups with the code date “USE THRU 01/05/2018.”

    The product may contain milk and egg, allergens not declared on the label.

    There have been no documented illnesses at this time.

    The recalled product, which is supposed to be a broccoli, celery, carrot, and ranch dip called Veggie Cup 6.5-oz. , has a level reading “Fresh Fruit” with UPC 5077722265 and the code date “Use Thru 01/05/2018” on the side.

    It was shipped to Coremark Distribution centers that sent the product to stores in Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, Nebraska, Utah and Wyoming.

    What to do

      REV Recreation Group recalls motor homes with satellite dish issue

      The satellite dish may detach from the roof

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 69 model year 2018 Fleetwood Axon, Bounder, Flair, Southwind, Pace Arrow and Pace Arrow LXE motorhomes, and model year 2018 Holiday Rambler Navigator, Navigator XE, Reno, Vacationer, and Vacationer XE motorhomes.

      The satellite dish on these vehicles may detach from the roof the vehicle is being driven and become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and dealers will resecure the satellite dish to the roof with a metal reinforcement, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 9, 2018.

      The vehicles contain incorrect circuit breakers

      Forest River is recalling 108 model year 2016-2018 Berkshire XLT motorhomes.

      Incorrect circuit breakers were used that may not contact the electrical sub-panel correctly.

      If the breakers do not contact the sub-panel properly, the electrical resistance can cause excessive heat, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect circuit breaker, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 8, 2018.

      Polly Ann ice bars recalled

      The products may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label

      California Popsicle, doing business as Polly Ann Ice Cream, of South San Francisco, Calif., is recalling ice bars that may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      One complaint of an allergic reaction was received from a customer in Canada.

      Products were distributed to distributor customers located in CA, NY, and Canada from 08/03/2017-08/31/2017. The products were further distributed by customers to various Chinese markets potentially nationwide.

      The following products, shipped to distributor customers in California, New York, and Canada from August 3-31, 2017, are being recalled:

      • Polly Ann Mango Ice Bar UPC#7-00730-28866-1
      • Polly Ann Red Bean Ice Bar UPC#7-00730-26868-7
      • Polly Ann Green Bean Ice Bar UPC#7-00730-26666-9

      The recalled products are packaged in cardboard boxes with four bars per box. The UPC is on the side panel of each box under the Nutrition Facts panel. Expiration dates range from 07/01/2018 through 07/31/2018.

      Vilo Home recalls Marseille dining benches

      The foam seat cushion and base can crack in the middle and cause the bench to collapse

      Vilo Home of Santa Fe Springs, Calif., is recalling about 200 Marseille dining benches.

      The foam seat cushion and base can crack in the middle and cause the bench to collapse, posing a fall hazard.

      The company has received two reports of the benches cracking in the middle and collapsing. No injuries have been reported.

      The recall involves Marseille dining benches with four legs.

      The benches, sold in black and brown with beige linen seat cushions, are made of rubber wood and measure about 52 inches by 18 inches wide.

      The model number is VH1103 and can be found on the product label on the bottom of the bench.

      The benches, manufactured in Vietnam, were sold at Amazon.com, Wayfair.com, Hayneedle.com and various home furnishing stores nationwide from June 2017, through September 2017, for about $150.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled benches and contact Vilo Home for a full refund.

      The federal placard may contain an incorrect tire pressure recommendation

      Forest River is recalling 25 model year 2018 Sandpiper and Sierra recreational trailers.

      The federal placard may incorrectly indicate the recommended tire pressure to be 110psi, while the actual tire pressure should be 95psi.

      Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims," and these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      Tires incorrectly inflated to 110psi, can wear prematurely, potentially causing a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a corrected Federal Placard, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 12, 2018.

      Comfort Research recalls bean bag chair covers

      The zippers on the covers can be opened by children who can then crawl inside and become trapped

      Comfort Research of Grand Rapids, Mich., is recalling about 1,200 Ultra Lounge bean bag chair covers.

      The zippers on the covers can be opened by children who can then crawl inside, become trapped, suffocate or choke on the bean bag chair's foam beads.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Comfort Research’s Ultra Lounge bean bag chair covers.

      The natural polyester Sherpa, teardrop-shape bean bag chair cover measures 28 inches by 28 inches by 36 inches and has two zippers on the exterior.

      The covers were sold without foam bead filling in a DIY package with three sewn-in tags. One tag reads “id COLORS” on the front and “RN48711” on the back. The second tag has the UPC label code “PO#12991” or “PO#13539” on the front. The third tag has the care and use instructions printed on one side and the warning notice on the other.

      The chair covers, manufactured in the U.S. and China, were sold at Kroger, Meijer and Shopko from April 2017, through August 2017, for between $30 and $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take bean bag chairs with the recalled covers away from children and contact Comfort Research for a full refund.

      Honda Fury motorcycles with replacement fuel tanks recalled

      The replacement fuel tank may be missing welds around the mounting bracket

      American Honda Motor Co. is recalling 20 model year 2017 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles and 2010 and 2016 Honda VT1300CX Fury motorcycles that received a replacement fuel tank. The fuel tank may be missing welds around the mounting bracket.

      If the welds are missing, the mounting bracket can separate from the tank, allowing fuel to leak and increasing the risk of a fire in the presence of an ignition source.

      What to do

      Honda will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the fuel tank welds and, as necessary, replace the fuel tank, free of charge.

      The recall was expected to begin in December 2017.

      Newmar recalls model year 2018 Bay Star and Bay Star Sport motorhomes

      The front side marker lights are not connected to the wiring harness

      Newmar Corporation is recalling 194 model year 2018 Bay Star and Bay Star Sport motorhomes.

      The front side marker lights on these vehicles may not be connected to the wiring harness. Additionally, when the headlight high beams are activated, the low beams may not illuminate as intended.

      As a result, the vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

      If the front side marker lights are not connected to the wiring harness, and the low beams do not illuminate when high beams are activated, visibility to the operator and to other drivers can be reduced, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will connect the front side marker lights to the wiring harness, and ensure the low beam lights illuminate with high beam activation, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 10, 2018.

      Driver seat positioning may damage the battery supply cables

      Aston Martin The Americas is recalling 1,953 model year 2005-2009 DB9, and DBS vehicles.

      The battery supply cable on these vehicles may become damaged when the driver seat is positioned in the full rearward location.

      If the battery cable is damaged and then grounded, the short circuit can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Aston Martin will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the battery supply cable for damage, and install a routing block to keep the battery supply cable from being compressed by the seat, free of charge.
