    Multipro recalls bassinets

    The bassinets fail to meet the mandatory federal safety standard

    Multipro Bassinet is recalling about 1,000 bassinets that fail to meet the mandatory federal safety standard for bassinets and cradles, posing fall and entrapment hazards to babies.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall involves Multipro bassinets, an Indian style baby cradle with a swing framework and a pair of metal legs on the ends of the middle rod.

    The Cradle N Swing is designed to swing the child back and forth in a bassinet, which is made of polka dot fabric with a mesh opening on the side.

    The bassinet portion attaches to a plastic frame base and is sold in a variety of colors with Multipro written on the outside of the storage bag.

    The bassinets, manufactured in India, were sold on www.Amazon.com from January 2014, through July 2017, for between $20 and $230.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the Multipro Baby Cradle N Swing, disassemble it and throw it away. Customers who purchased the product on Amazon.com have been contacted directly and automatically issued a gift card refund for the full purchase price of the product.

    Duke Sandwich Productions recalls ready-to-eat chicken salad

    The product was packaged in an incorrect container

    Duke Sandwich Productions of Easley, S.C., is recalling approximately 743 pounds of chicken salad.

    The product was packaged with two different product names. The chicken salad was packaged in the pimento cheese container, but it had “Chicken Salad” listed on the lid.

    There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

    The following item, produced on December 27, 2017, with a sell-by date of January 31, 2018, is being recalled:

    • 12 oz. plastic cups containing the “Duke SANDWICH COMPANY CHICKEN SALAD” label on the lid.

    The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. P-34048” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was sold at retail locations in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

      Forest River recalls Prime Time Crusader and Sanibel recreational trailers

      Carbon monoxide could enter the passenger compartment

      Forest River is recalling 170 model year 2018 Prime Time Crusader and Sanibel recreational trailers.

      A bracket used to secure the furnace in place may be missing, allowing the furnace to shift, possibly resulting in the fresh air intake and the furnace exhaust tubes being misaligned with the furnace.

      If the tubes are misaligned, carbon monoxide could enter the passenger compartment, increasing the risk of illness or death. Additionally, flames may escape the furnace during start up, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a bracket to secure the furnace, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 16, 2018.

      Wells Collection recalls Rely Dried Longya Lily

      The product contains sulfites which are not declared on the label

      Wells Collection of Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling 8-oz. packages of Rely brand Dried Longya Lily containing sulfites which are not declared on the label.

      The consumption of 10 mg of sulfites per serving has been reported to elicit severe reactions in some asthmatics. Anaphylactic shock could occur in certain sulfite sensitive individuals upon ingesting 10 milligrams or more of sulfites.

      Analysis of the recalled product revealed it contains 92.9 milligrams per serving.

      No illnesses or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.

      The recalled product, which comes in an 8-oz., clear plastic package marked with ITEM NO: 66066 on the label and UPC code 8-8468702199-8, was sold by retail supermarkets in New York and Texas.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Forest River is recalling 3,297 model year 2015-2018 Cascade and Cherokee recreational trailers.

      The trailer wiring may have been routed improperly, allowing the wires to be pinched between the chassis and the vehicle body.

      Pinched wires may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the trailers, rerouting the wires, as necessary, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 16, 2018.

      Fujifilm recalls digital camera power adapter wall plugs

      The power adapter wall plug can crack, break or detach, exposing live electrical contacts

      Fujifilm North America of Valhalla, N.Y., is recalling about 294,000 power adapter wall plugs sold with Fujifilm digital cameras in the U.S. and Canada.

      The power adapter wall plug can crack, break or detach and remain in the wall and expose live electrical contacts, posing a shock hazard.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves AC-5VF power adapter wall plugs sold with Fujifilm digital camera models XP90, XP95, XP120, XP125, X-A3 and X-A10. The digital cameras were sold in a variety of colors.

      The recalled wall plugs are black and are combined with a power adapter and USB cord that plugs into the adapter. Model number “AC-5VF” is printed on the back of the power adapter.

      The serial number is printed on the bottom of the camera or under the battery compartment lid.

      The power adapter wall plugs, manufactured in China, were sold at mass merchandisers, electronics and membership club stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and other websites.

      The XP90 and XP95 were sold from June 2016, through January 2018, the XP120 and XP125 were sold from January 2017, through January 2018, the X-A3 was sold from October 2016, through January 2018, and the X-A10 was sold from February 2017, through January 2018. The digital cameras were sold for between $160 and $600 with the power adaptor wall plugs.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled power adapter wall plugs and contact Fujifilm for a free replacement. Consumers can continue to charge the camera using the USB cable attached to a computer.

      Rico brand of Salt Lake City, Utah, is recalling Tofu Breakfast Burritos that may contain soy, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been reported to date.

      The recalled product is a twelve ounce burrito wrapped in white paper with a label containing green and yellow around the border, and orange in the center. The Rico brand logo is printed on the top portion of the label with two Julian dates -- 2687 and 0028 -- on the back.

      It was distributed to grocery stores in Cache, Weber, Salt Lake and Utah counties in Utah.

      The front airbag inflators could explode

      Mazda North America Operations is recalling 160 model year 2006 B-Series vehicles.

      Upon deployment of the passenger side and driver side front airbags, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflators to explode.

      Sharp metal fragments could strike the vehicle occupants, potentially resulting in serious injury or death.

      What to do

      Mazda will notify owners instructing them not to drive their vehicles. Dealers will replace the inflators free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin January 19, 2018.

      Coldwater Creek recalls snow globes

      Light refraction through the globes can singe or melt items

      Coldwater Direct of Hingham, Mass, is recalling about 43 snow globes.

      Light refraction through the globes can singe or melt items in contact with or in the immediate proximity, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received one incident report of damaged property. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Coldwater Creek snow globes with reindeer or a snowman inside.

      The Reindeer snow globe, style 13826 and model number XC7484, has two white reindeer inside and a brown and cream base with a wind-up key at the bottom.

      The Vintage Charm snow globe, style 13660 and model number 3WGL120, has a silver snowman inside and a silver base.

      The Grasslands Road logo and style number appear on separate labels located on the underside of the globe. The style number is the ninth through fourteenth digits printed on the price label. The model number is printed on the product packaging.

      The snow globes, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Coldwater Creek stores nationwide, Coldwater Creek catalog and online at www.coldwatercreek.com from October 2017, through December 2017, for about $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled snow globes and contact Coldwater Creek to return the product free of cost for a full refund. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      The federal placard incorrectly lists the Gross Axle Weight Rating

      Keystone RV Company is recalling 12 model year 2018 Hideout recreational trailers, model 310.

      The vehicle's federal placard incorrectly lists the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) as 5,080 lbs and the tire size as ST225/75R15D with 65 PSI.

      The correct GAWR is 5,200 lbs and the correct tire size is ST225/75R15E with 80 PSI.

      These vehicles, thus, fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      Incorrect label information may cause the operator to underinflate the tires, possibly resulting in their failure and an increased risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Keystone has notified owners and provided a corrected federal placard, free of charge.

      The recall began on December 27, 2017.

      Forest River is recalling 41 model year 2018 Coachmen Galleria motorhomes, models GAB24FLM, GAB24QM and GAB24TM.

      The inverter was installed using a lead wire that may not be able to handle the amperage draw. If the lead wire cannot handle the draw, it may melt, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River recalls Salem and Wildwood recreational trailers

      The federal placard on the vehicles contains incorrect tire information

      Forest River is recalling 133 model year 2018 Salem and Wildwood recreational trailers.

      The federal placard on the vehicles incorrectly states that the trailers are equipped with ST215/75R15 Load Range D tires; however, the installed tires are size ST205/75R15 Load Range D.

      As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims," and these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      If the operator installs tires of the wrong size, vehicle handling may be affected, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners and provide corrected federal placards, free of charge.

      The recall began on December 18, 2017.

      Water may enter the 12-volt harness connectors

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 347 model year 2018 American Coach American Dream, American Revolution, Fleetwood Discovery, Discovery LXE, Holiday Rambler Endeavor, Endeavor XE, and Monaco Marquis recreational vehicles.

      Water may enter the 12-volt harness connectors due to missing gaskets or the placement of the pin connectors, potentially causing an electrical short which can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect, and if necessary, install a gasket for each affected harness pin connector and re-route harnesses that terminate near luggage compartment number five, free of charge.

      Newmar Corporation is recalling 2,915 model year 2016-2018 Bay Star, Bay Star Sport, Canyon Star, Dutch Star, Essex, King Aire, London Aire, Mountain Aire, New Aire, Ventana and Ventana LE motorhomes.

      The vehicles may have a loose power connection at the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), possibly resulting in a build up of heat and increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the electrical connection at the ATS, tightening it as necessary, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 17, 2018.
