    John Deere recalls Gator Utility Vehicles

    The vehicle may not slow down or stop, posing a crash hazard

    Deere & Company of Moline, Ill., is recalling about 8,500 Gator Utility Vehicles.

    The dust boot on the throttle cable can come loose, resulting in the vehicle not slowing down or stopping, posing a crash hazard.

    The company has received two reports of the dust boot on the throttle cable coming loose. No reports of injuries.

    This recall involves John Deere Gator Utility Vehicles with model number XUV590i or XUV590i S4 printed on the hood and the “John Deere” and “Gator” brand names printed on the cargo box.

    The serial number, located on the frame on the rear of the machine above the hitch, begins with 1M0590 and fall within the ranges on the chart below.

    The recalled utility vehicles come in several colors and have four-wheel suspension with side-by-side seating for two or four people depending on model.

    The vehicles, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at John Deere dealers nationwide from January 2016, through March 2017, for between $10,000 and $12,900.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled utility vehicles and contact a John Deere dealer for a free repair. John Deere is contacting all registered owners of the recalled vehicles directly.

    Teavana recalls flip tumblers

    The flip tumblers can leak hot liquid, posing a burn hazard

    Teavana of Seattle, Wash., is recalling 25,200 Teavana flip tumblers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

    The flip tumblers can leak hot liquid, posing a burn hazard.

    The company has received 12 reports of the tumblers leaking, including one report of a burn injury to a consumer’s abdomen.

    This recall involves 14-oz. Teavana flip tumblers used for steeping hot tea. The recalled tumblers have a clear plastic cap with a welded black base that screws onto a stainless steel tumbler.

    The tumblers were sold in black and silver and measure about 10 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter. “Teavana” is printed on the side of the tumbler.

    The tumblers, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Teavana stores nationwide and online at Teavana.com from October 2016, through February 2017, for about $40.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flip tumblers and return them to a Teavana store location (except for two stores: Columbia Mall, Columbia, Md., and Dallas Fort-Worth Airport, Texas) or contact Teavana for a mailer label to get a refund in the form of $45 Teavana store credit.

      The Whole Foods Market store in Dedham, Mass., is recalling single-serve organic vanilla yogurt parfait cups with strawberries and granola.

      The granola contains almonds, an allergen not declared on the label.

      One allergic reaction has been reported.

      The recalled product is packaged in single-serve clear plastic containers labeled as “Organic Vanilla Yogurt Strawberries and Granola”, PLU number 25826 with a “Sell by” date between April 2, 2017, and April 11, 2017.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product may bring their receipt to the store for a full refund.

      Keystone recalls model year 2017 Cougar recreational trailers

      The circuit breaker cannot be used in close proximity to the liquid propane storage

      Keystone RV Company is recalling 43 model year 2017 Cougar recreational trailers, models 326RDS, 327RKL, 333MKS, 336BHS and 359MBI.

      The recalled vehicles were built with a manual-resetting 12 volt circuit breaker, which cannot be used in close proximity to the liquid propane storage.

      If the breaker sparks when it is being manually reset, it can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the trailers and replace the breaker with one that automatically resets, as necessary, free of charge. The recall was expected to begin April 7, 2017.

      The products contain pecans, an allergen not declared on the label

      Food Evolution of Schiller Park, Ill., is recalling approximately 150 pounds of Mediterranean-style chicken cous cous salad products.

      The products contain pecans, an allergen not declared on the label.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

      The following ready-to-eat Mediterranean-style chicken cous cous salad items, packaged on March 31, 2017, with a use-by date of April 7, 2017, are being recalled:

      • 12.01 oz. clear plastic containers containing “Mediterranean Style Cous Cous Salad with Sweet Basil Dressing, Distributed by Roundy’s Supermarkets, Inc.”

      The recalled products, bearing establishment number “P-34309” inside the USDA mark of inspection, shipped to Roundy’s Supermarket locations in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.

      The preformed fuel hose can develop small holes or cracks

      KTM North America is recalling 487 model year 2016-2017 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT motorcycles.

      The preformed fuel hose can develop small holes or cracks, potentially causing a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the presence of a ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      KTM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the defective fuel hose, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Wegmans Food Markets is recalling its brand of Original Killer Brownies with Pecans.

      The product may contain peanuts, an allergen not declared on the label.

      There have been no reported injuries or illnesses associated with this recall.

      The recalled product (best-by dates 03/21/17 through 4/5/17 only) with UPC number 20818400000 was sold between March 16 and April 4, 2017, only in 15 Wegmans stores in the following areas of New York State:

      REV recalls Fleetwood Bounders and Holiday Rambler Vacationers

      The federal placards incorrectly list the tire size

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 42 model year 2017 Fleetwood Bounders and Holiday Rambler Vacationers.

      The vehicles are equipped with federal placards that incorrectly list a tire size of 235/80R 22.5 G when the actual tire size is 255/80R 22.5 G.

      As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      If the operator were to replace the tires according to the information on the federal placard, it could increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and dealers will install a corrected label, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 5, 2017.

      Newmar recalls motorhomes with suspension issue

      The vehicles could suffer a partial loss of steering

      Newmar Corporation is recalling 600 model year 2017-2018 Dutch Star, 2016-2018 Mountain Aire and London Aire, and 2012-2018 Essex and King Aire motorhomes built on a Spartan Motors chassis.

      The ball joints on the independent front suspension modules can loosen and separate, leading to a partial loss of steering, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Newmar will notify owners, and Spartan service centers will remove, clean, apply thread locker, reinstall and torqued the ball joints, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 21, 2017.

      Sock and Accessory Brands Global of Advance, N.C., is recalling about 14,500 infant caps sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The button on the top of the cap can detach, posing a choking hazard.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves John Deere gray infant baseball caps with a green tractor design. The caps were sold in one size (infant 6-12 months). Style number “JSH721HF ” and manufacture date 11/2016 are printed on the sewn in care label inside the back of the caps.

      The caps, manufactured in China, were sold at Tractor Supply Company and farm and ranch stores nationwide from January 2017, through March 2017, for between $10 and $16.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the infant caps away from young children and contact the firm to receive a full refund, including shipping cost.

      Entegra Coach is recalling 1,727 model year 2012-2013 and 2015-2018 Anthem; 2013 and 2017-2018 Aspire; and 2012-2018 Cornerstone motorhomes built on a Spartan Motors chassis.
