    Graceleigh recalls Sammy’s Milk Baby Food

    The product may contain the Cronobacter bacterium

    Graceleigh, Inc. d/b/a Sammy’s Milk is recalling all lots of Sammy’s Milk Baby Food.

    The product may contain Cronobacter, a bacterium that can cause severe and sometimes fatal blood infections or meningitis in infants and may not provide adequate nutritional levels of iron.

    No illnesses have been reported to date.

    The recalled product, which comes in a 12.84-oz. white plastic container with expiration dates of 11/2016 – 8/2018, was distributed in California to Mother’s Markets retailers and nationwide by direct delivery from www.SammysMilk.com.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

    FULLBEAUTY brands recalls children’s nightgowns

    The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards

    FULLBEAUTY Brands of New York is recalling about 31,000 children’s nightgowns.

    The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

    No incidents or injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves girl’s Dreams & Co. by FULLBEAUTY Brands knit cotton jersey “daughter Henley” styled nightgown. The nightgowns have picot edge trim and a button placket on the center front of the chest.

    The nightgowns were sold in children’s sizes 6/6X, 7/8 and 10/12 in the following five different prints:

    The style number is printed on the side seam label of the nightgown.

    The nightgowns, manufactured in Pakistan, were sold exclusively online at www.Amazon.com, www.jessicalondon, www.roamans.com and www.womanwithin.com from August 2009, through July 2016, for between $13 and $20.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and contact the firm for instructions on receiving a full refund or a company gift card for 125% of the purchase price. The firm is contacting consumers that purchased the recalled nightgowns.

    Mazda recalls model year 2014-2016 Mazda3 vehicles

    The fuel tank may leak

    Mazda Motors North American Operations is recalling 17,484 model year 2014-2016 Mazda3 vehicles manufactured January 4, 2014, to September 18, 2015.

    The fuel tank may have been improperly handled during manufacturing and, as a result, the welded attachment of the Inlet Check Valve (ICV) may fail and allow fuel to leak.

    A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Mazda will notify owners and, depending on the tank lot number, dealers will inspect the ICV weld, replacing the fuel tank, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin November 1, 2016.

      The products contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.

      The production date is documented on the bag via the following format: VYYMMDD. V=Production Plant Impacted by Recall. YY=Year. MM= Month. DD=Day. For example, a recalled product with the production date of March 10, 2015 would have the following date code on the bag: V150310.

      What to do

      Customers who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk should throw out unused product or return any of it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Hallee recalls bed canopies

      A child can become entangled in the bed canopy

      Hallee, Inc., of Santa Cruz, Calif., is recalling about 1,000 bed canopies.

      A child can become entangled in the bed canopy, posing a strangulation hazard.

      The firm has received one report of a child waking up with the bed canopy netting entangled around his neck. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves all Hallee Starlit Nights Mosquito Net Bed Canopies. The recalled bed canopies are made of 100% white polyester fabric and mosquito netting and have glow-in-the-dark stars sewn onto the fabric.

      The canopies hang from the ceiling or wall above a bed and measure about 400 inches tall, 90 inches wide and 22 inches in diameter. “Hallee” is printed on the label that is attached to the bottom of the canopies.

      The canopies, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively online at www.Amazon.com from July 2016, through August 2016, for about $45.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled bed canopies and contact Hallee for a full refund or a replacement bed canopy with new warning labels. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Model year 2016-2017 Ducati XDiavel motorcycles recalled

      The motorcycles could lose power transmission to the rear wheel

      Ducati North America is recalling 1,433 model year 2016-2017 Ducati XDiavel motorcycles manufactured July 7, 2015, to June 22, 2016.

      The motorcycles may have an insufficiently tightened final drive pulley retaining nut which may result in a loss of power transmission to the rear wheel and increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Ducati will notify owners, and dealers will install a new washer under the final drive pulley retaining nut and increase the tightening torque, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin November 7, 2016.

      Koffee Kup Bakery recalls bread products

      There may be clear plastic pieces in some products

      Koffee Kup Bakery is recalling approximately 99,000 packages of its bread products that may be contaminated with pieces of clear plastic.

      No injuries have been reported to date.

      The recall is limited to the bread products with the “use by” dates 9/30/16, 10/1/16, 10/2/16 or 10/3/16, which are printed on the closure tags of each package.

      Products bearing other “use by” dates were not affected, nor were any of Koffee Kup’s crullers or donuts, which are produced on a different manufacturing line.

      The driver-side windshield wiper arm may break

      Tiffin Motorhomes is recalling 28 model year 2017 Allegro Open Roads vehicles manufactured June 7, 2016, to August 15, 2016.

      The vehicles have a driver-side wiper arm that may sweep off of the edge of the windshield and, when trying to return, the wiper arm may break.

      A broken windshield wiper may reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Tiffin will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver-side wiper pivot shaft and extending linkage, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Glion electric scooters recalled

      The frame of the scooter can break where the unit folds

      Probity Cell of Holdrege, Neb., is recalling about 230 Glion electric scooters.

      The frame of the scooter can break where the unit folds, posing a fall hazard.

      The firm has received three reports of the scooter’s frame breaking, including one hip and elbow abrasion injury.

      This recall involves the Glion SmartScooter Model 100. The foldable electric scooters are aluminum and come in black or white. The scooters are powered by lithium-ion batteries and have a kickstand, two tires and a USB phone charger.

      “GLION” is printed on the standing board of the scooter. The scooters measure about 38 inches long and 5.5 inches wide and 45 inches tall when unfolded.

      The scooters, manufactured in China, were sold Online at www.amazon.com, www.e-bay.com, www.kickstater.com and www.glion-scooter.com from September 2014, to September 2015, for between $380 and $550.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric scooters and contact Probity Cell for a free repair or a store credit toward the purchase of another product.

      The showerhead can be lowered into the shower pan or sink basin

      Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 24 model year 2016 Unity motorhomes, model U24X, manufactured October 15, 2015, to June 16, 2016.

      The vehicles have a showerhead that can be lowered into the shower pan or sink basin.

      In the event of a waste water backup, a submerged showerhead may syphon the waste water, possibly contaminating the fresh water supply, increasing the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will install two guide rings to prevent the shower head from lowering into the shower pan or sink basin, free of charge. The recall began on September 23, 2016.

      The passenger side mirror could move while the vehicle is in motion

      Tiffin Motorhomes is recalling 36 model year 2017 Allegro Bus motorhomes manufactured April 12, 2016, to June 21, 2016.

      Due to insufficient holding power of the mirror arm swivel mechanism, the passenger side mirror could move while the vehicle is in motion.

      If the mirror does not stay in position, it can reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.
