    Dollar Tree Recalls Glass Votive Candle Holders

    The holders can shatter while in use

    The firm has received one report of the glass votive candle holder shattering. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves frosted or clear glass votive candle holders with French vanilla scented candles. The votive candle holders are 2 1/2 inches tall. Model number 976127 and date code 1010 are printed on the bottom of the glass votive candle holder.

    The candles were sold at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, Deal$ and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores nationwide from December 2010 through April 2011 for about $1. They were made in India.

    Consumers should immediately stop using the candle holders and return them to the store where purchased for a full refund.

    Sage Creek Organics Recalls Children's Sleepwear

    Violates federal flammability standard

    Sage Creek Organics is recalling about 600 sets of children’s sleepwear. The garments fail to meet the federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear posing a risk of burn injury to children.

    This recall involves long sleeve boys’ and girls’ pajama sets that were part of the Enchanted Forest Collection, Forest Friends Collection or Golden Dragonfly Collection. The sets were sold in sizes 6 months to 4T in the following colors: cream and green; dark blue and light blue; and, pink and lilac.

    Small boutiques sold the sleepwear nationwide and online at the company’s website www.sagecreekorganics.com from August 2010 to February 2011 for approximately $35. The sleepwear was made in India.

    Consumers should immediately return the garments to either the place of purchase or to Sage Creek Organics for a full refund.
