    What to do

    Jayco recalls Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige and Entegra Qwest motorhomes

    The front seat wiring harnesses may be routed incorrectly

    Jayco is recalling 545 model year 2020-2021 Jayco Melbourne, Melbourne Prestige and Entegra Qwest motorhomes built on Sprinter chassis and equipped with swivel seats.

    The wiring harnesses for the front seats may have been routed incorrectly and could become jammed and damaged in the swivel seat frames.

    If the wiring harness is damaged, the side airbag within the seat may deploy unexpectedly or not deploy as designed in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to occupants.

    What to do

    Jayco will notify owners, and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter dealers will inspect the wire harness routing for both front seats and will repair the wiring and add clips or cable ties -- as needed -- free of charge.

      Thor Motor Coach recalls Daybreak, Four Winds and Chateau motorhomes

      The barrel chair pedestals may separate from the floor in a crash

      Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling 248 model year 2020-2021 Daybreak 23DB, model year 2018-2021 Four Winds 23U, and model year 2018-2021 Chateau 23U motorhomes.

      Bolts of the wrong size were used to secure the barrel chair pedestals, allowing the pedestal to separate from the floor in a crash. If the pedestal were to separate from the floor during a crash, the seat belt anchorages may fail, increasing the risk of injury.

      What to do

      TMC will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the pedestal bolt size, correcting the hardware -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin October 5, 2020.

      The left front axle driveshaft may break

      Kia Motors America is recalling 841 model year 2019 Fortes.

      The left front axle driveshaft may not have been heat-treated, which can cause it to break.

      A broken driveshaft can result in a sudden loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Kia will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the left front axle driveshaft for a heat treatment verification code, and replace it if the code is missing, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin September 2, 2020.

      Haven’s Kitchen of New York, N.Y. is recalling one lot of Golden Turmeric Tahini sauce.

      The product may contain Gingery Miso sauce, which contains soy -- an allergen not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been reported to date.

      The product, which comes in 5-oz pouches under the name Haven’s Kitchen Golden Turmeric Tahini with the Unit UPC Code: 8-18758-02011-5, an expiration date of 10/23/20 and a lot code of 1770., was distributed at the following United Natural Foods Inc. (UNFI) and Dora’s Naturals locations:

      Ducati recalls Streetfighter V4 and Streetfighter V4 S motorcycles

      The flywheel may break causing the engine oil to leak

      Ducati North America is recalling 156 model year 2021 Streetfighter V4 and Streetfighter V4 S motorcycles.

      The generator rotor (flywheel) may break, damaging the generator cover and causing oil leakage from the engine.

      Leaking oil may drip into the path of the rear tire, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory.

      Dealers will inspect the production dates on the generator rotors (flywheels) and replace them as necessary.

      The recall is scheduled to begin September 14, 2020.

      REV Recreation Group recalls Fleetwood Pace Arrow motorhomes

      The battery hold down bracket may be improperly secured

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 145 model year 2019-2020 Fleetwood Pace Arrow motorhomes, models 33D, 36U, 35QS, 35S, 35RB and 35E.

      The auxiliary batteries, located inside the interior step compartment, were secured in place with a metal hold-down bracket secured with carriage bolts and standard nuts.

      This hardware may loosen and allow the metal hold-down bracket to shift or move and make contact with the battery terminals.

      If the bracket contacts the battery terminal it may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and dealers will install replacement battery hold-down mounting hardware free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin September 25, 2020.

      Consumers warned to stop using banned lawn dart sets

      The recalling firm is unable to conduct a recall

      The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Crown Darts UK are warning consumers to stop using and dispose of about 19,800 banned lawn dart sets.

      Lawn darts are banned in the U.S. due to serious risks of skull punctures and other serious injuries, particularly to children.

      Crown Darts UK is unable to conduct the recall.

      There are no reports of incidents or injuries.

      The lawn dart sets were sold for 2, 4 and 5 players and contained 4, 8 and 10 units (darts) respectively, as well as individual spare darts.

      The lawn darts are about a foot long (30 cm), have polypropylene flights (fins) designed to be held at the tail, with a brass body ending in a stainless steel spigot (peg). They were sold in assorted colors including red, blue, yellow, purple, pink, orange, ivory and green.

      The CROWN DARTS logo is printed on the product.

      The lawn dart sets, manufactured in the UK, were sold online at www.crowndarts.com from May 2004, through June 2020, for between $15 and $139.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the lawn dart sets and destroy and dispose of them to prevent further usage.

      Xtreme Outdoors recalls Little Guy Mini Max Trailers

      The trailer may exceed the towing capacity of the tow vehicle

      Xtreme Outdoors is recalling 145 model year 2020 Little Guy Mini Max Trailers.

      The curb weight, Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) are understated on the certification label, affecting how well the trailer may be towed.

      There is a risk that the trailer may exceed the towing capacity of the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a vehicle crash.

      What to do

      Xtreme will notify owners, and dealers will send new certification labels for all trailers affected by this recall free of charge.

      Unsold units that are outside Xtreme Outdoors control will also be issued new paperwork with the correct information.

      The recall is expected to begin September 7, 2020.

      Moisture can enter the Top View rear camera holder and result in a reduction in the clarity of the rear view camera image.

      A reduction in the quality of the rearview camera image can reduce the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

      The products may be contaminated with extraneous materials

      Sun Valley Foods of El Paso, Texas, is recalling ready-to-eat (RTE) beef and chicken taquitos and chimichangas containing FDA regulated diced green chilies.

      The products may be contaminated with extraneous materials -- specifically hard plastic -- that may pose a choking hazard or cause damage to teeth or gums.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following items, produced by Ajinomoto Foods North America and shipped to retail locations nationwide are being recalled:

      • 19.2-oz. carton containing 16 pieces labeled as “Great Value Flour Chicken Taquitos Tortillas Stuffed with All White Chicken Meat & Monterey Jack Cheese” with a best if used by date of “11 JUL 2021” and “P5590” printed on the side panel.

      The rear swing arm spare tire carrier bracket may fail

      High Altitude Trailer Co. (HATC) is recalling six model year 2019-2020 XT50 trailers retrofitted with a black rear swing arm spare tire carrier.

      The weld on the retrofitted rear swing arm bracket may fail causing the rear swing arm, spare tire, and any other attached items to break away from the trailer frame.

      If the rear swing arm spare tire carrier bracket weld fails, the spare tire may separate from the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      HATC has notified owners, and dealers will add reinforcing welds along the top seam of the swing arm bracket and trailer frame free of charge.

      For customers not in the immediate region, the manufacturer will coordinate with a local welding repair shop to add the welds and reimburse the shop directly.

      The recall began July 28, 2020.

      Transform recalls four-drawer chests

      The chests are unstable and can tip over if not anchored to the wall

      Transform SR Holding Management of Hoffman Estates, Ill., is recalling about 19,000 Essential Home Belmont 2.0 four-drawer chests.

      The chests are unstable and can tip over if not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves 4-drawer chests with plastic drawer glides sold by Transform under the Essential Home brand and identified as the “Belmont 2.0” model.

      The chests measure approximately 29.8 inches in height and 27.7 inches in width, and were sold in four colors: black, pine, walnut and white.

      The manufacturer’s name, “Kappesberg Moveis,” and the model number “F214” can be found on the instruction manual that came with each chest.

      The chests, manufactured in Brazil, were sold exclusively at Kmart stores nationwide and online at Kmart.com from March 2018, through April 2020, for about $60.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chests if they are not properly anchored to a wall and place them in an area that children cannot access.

      For chests purchased on or after February 11, 2019, contact Transform to receive a free anchoring kit and upon request, a one-time, free in-home installation of the wall anchor kit.

      Indian Motorcycle Company is recalling 2,742 model year 2019 Scout and Scout Bobber motorcycles equipped with Anti-Lock Brake Systems (ABS).

      After the manufacturing process, air may remain trapped within the brake system, possibly reducing brake performance and increasing the risk of a crash.

      There are no reports of adverse events to date.
