    BMW recalls X5 and X6 vehicles

    The steering column shaft bearing plate may be loose

    BMW of North America is recalling seven model year 2019-2020 X5 sDrive40i, X5 xDrive40i & X5 xDrive50i vehicles, and model year 2020 X6M vehicles.

    The steering column shaft bearing plate may not have been attached properly to the vehicle, allowing it to loosen.

    A loose bearing plate can affect the vehicle's handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    BMW will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the steering column shaft bearing plate and properly attach or replace it -- as necessary -- free of charge.

    A notification schedule has not yet been provided.

    REVIVE Essential Oil recalls various essential oils

    The packaging is not child resistant

    REVIVE Essential Oils of San Francisco, Calif., is recalling about 26,630 bottles of REVIVE Wintergreen & Birch Essential Oil s and REVIVE Sore No More, Ache Away & Breeze Essential Oil Blends.

    The products, which contain methyl salicylate, come in packaging that is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning to young children.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall involves REVIVE Wintergreen and Birch Essential Oils and REVIVE Sore No More, Ache Away and Breeze Essential Oil Blends in 10 mL amber glass bottles with black caps.

    “REVIVE”, “Birch”, “Wintergreen”, “Sore No More”, “Ache Away”, and “Breeze” are printed on the labels.

    The product name, lot number and volume amount are displayed on the label.

    Model year 2019 Mercedes Benz and Freightliner Sprinters recalled

    Incorrect rear leaf spring shims may have been installed

    Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling 26 model year 2019 Mercedes Benz and Freightliner Sprinters.

    The incorrect leaf spring shims may have been installed between the rear axle and the leaf springs possibly affecting the vehicle's handling and increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    DVUSA will notify owners, and dealers will replace the leaf spring shims on both sides, renew the spring brackets, check the rubber buffers for wear, renewing them if necessary, and adjust the headlamps free of charge.

    The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.

      The products may contain methanol (wood alcohol), which can produce nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death.

      There are no reports of serious adverse events to date.

      When a trailer is connected to the vehicle, the trailer brake lights don't illuminate

      Kia Motors America is recalling 86,921 model year 2020 Tellurides with Smart Cruise Control (SCC).

      When a trailer is connected to the vehicle, the trailer brake lights will not illuminate when the SCC applies the brakes.

      Inoperative trailer brake lights can fail to warn other drivers that the vehicle is slowing, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Kia will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional wire harness to the main fuse box to signal the trailer brake lights free of charge.

      The power steering hydraulic hose was assembled with an incorrect fitting, which may cause the hose to fail and result in a loss of power steering assist.

      X-14 Mildew Stain Remover is a bathroom cleaning product used to remove mildew and stains from grout, tile, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.

      The lights lack adequate minimum wire size and overcurrent protection, posing fire and electrical shock hazards.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves a single style of Moravian star lights, including those with incandescent and LED bulbs.

      The lights are a white multipointed star designed to hang from a ceiling, and were sold in two sizes: 12” and 21.”

      The exterior boxes were either red, green or blue.

      The lights, manufactured in China, were sold online at MoravianStarCompany.com and Amazon.com from November 2016, through December 2019, for about $20.

      • 15-oz. plastic-wrapped plastic covered containers containing "Coco's ITALIAN MARKET Take - n - Bake BEEF RAVIOLI WITH LUCIANA'S MARINARA SAUCE."
      • 16-in. plastic-wrapped cardboard trays containing "Coco's ITALIAN MARKET Take - n - Bake Hand Made Pepperoni Pizza" with a USDA mark of inspection represented on the pepperoni label.
