    Polaris recalls model year 2011-2016 GEM electric vehicles

    The lower main frame tube may crack

    Polaris Industries is recalling 1,946 model year 2011-2016 GEM E2, E2L, ELXD and EL electric vehicles.

    The lower main frame tube may crack which can result in failure of the secondary upper cab frame.

    Failure of the upper cab frame can increase the risk of injury or crash.

    What to do

    Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional frame brace to the lower ame tubes, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin in August 2018.

    CVS Health 12 Hour Sinus Relief Nasal Mist recalled

    The product was found to have had microbiological contamination

    Product Quest Manufacturing is recalling Lot# 173089J of CVS Health 12 Hour Sinus Relief Nasal Mist, a clear, colorless liquid.

    The product was found to have had microbiological contamination identified as Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

    Repetitive use of a nasal spray containing a gram-negative pathogen can potentially lead to colonization and subsequent infection which can be life threatening in certain consumers, such as those with cystic fibrosis or immuno-compromised.

    The company has not received any reports of adverse events related to this recall.

    The product, used as a nasal decongestant and packaged in a 0.5-fluid ounce bottle that is placed in an individual folding carton, was distributed Nationwide to retail outlets.

    16,896 units were released with UPC code 50428432365 and an expiration date of 09/19. Lot 173089J and EXP 09/19 is coded on the side panel of the carton.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using it and return it to the place of purchase, or discard it.

    The generator's exhaust may enter the trailer

    Jayco is recalling 62 model year 2018 Jayco Octane travel trailers, models VH and VF, equipped with an optional generator.

    During production, the generator exhaust pipe may not have been installed, allowing the generator's exhaust to enter the trailer.

    Exhaust entering the trailer can increase the risk of injury.

    What to do

    Jayco has notified owners, and dealers will install any missing generator exhaust pipes, free of charge.

      Yamaha recalls MT and XSR series motorcycles

      The chain guard may contact the drive chain and break

      Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is recalling 3,493 model year 2018 Yamaha MT-07J, MT-07JC, XSR700J, and XSR700JC motorcycles.

      The bolts that connect the drive chain guard to the swingarm may loosen, possibly causing the chain guard to contact the drive chain and break.

      If the chain guard breaks, it may fall onto the road, creating a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

      The helmets may not protect the wearer adequately

      Badass Helmet Company is recalling 765 Trooper motorcycle helmets, model TR001.6, in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and 2XL.

      The helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in the event of a head impact during a motorcycle crash and they may not stay secured to the rider's head.

      Additionally, the label inside the helmet may be incorrect in that it does not list the actual helmet manufacturer and does not list the model of the helmet.

      A helmet that fails to meet safety requirements can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

      Van Oriental Foods of Dallas, Texas, is recalling approximately 10,385 pounds of heat treated but not fully cooked and not shelf stable pork egg rolls.

      The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials -- specifically soft plastic.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of the recalled product.

      The following product, produced on May 30, 2018, with shelf life of 12 months if frozen and 11 days if refrigerated, is being recalled:

      • 5.4-oz. packages containing two pieces of “VAN’S KITCHEN 2 EGG ROLLS PORK GRAB AND GO” with lot code 18150, a Julian date of 18150A and various “FRESHNESS DATE/BEST IF USED BY” dates.

      The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. 13219” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

      Rena Ware recalls Nutrex Pressure Cookers

      The recalled pressure cookers can discharge steam at lower pressures than intended

      Rena Ware International of Bellevue, Wash., is recalling about 700 Nutrex pressure cookers.

      The recalled pressure cookers can discharge steam at lower pressures than intended, posing a burn hazard to consumers.

      The firm has received 13 reports of unintended depressurization, including five reported burn injuries.

      This recall involves Nutrex pressure cookers with model number 2153. The pressure cookers are silver colored with black handles with a blue gasket is attached on the inside of the cover.

      Model number 2153.DW, the month and year of production and Rena Ware are stamped on the bottom of the unit. “DONG WON” is stamped on the base of the main valve. “DWM” is stamped on the blue gasket.

      The pressure cookers, manufactured in South Korea, were sold through Rena Ware sales representatives from December 2015, through June 2018, for between $750 and $820.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pressure cookers and contact Rena Ware for a free repair. Rena Ware is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Zebra Technologies expands recall of thermal printer power supply units

      The power supply units can degrade and corrode over time

      Zebra Technologies of Lincolnshire, Ill., is expanding its recall of Power supply units for Zebra brand thermal printers to 1.37 million from the 166,000 recalled in December 2016.

      The power supply units can degrade and corrode over time when exposed to moisture and overheat, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received a total of 30 reports of the power supply units overheating or catching fire, including a fire that spread from the connector to the printer, damaging the printer and surrounding work space. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall expansion involves power supply units that serve as the power source for models of Zebra manufactured thermal industrial printers (sold under the Zebra brand, including co-branded or re-branded) used to make bar codes and other commercial labels.

      The recall is being expanded to include power supply units manufactured by the FSP Group between October 1, 2006, and December 31, 2012. The Zebra logo or FSP North America logo, date code and part number are printed on the power supply unit.

      The power supply units were either sold as after-market kits or included with the sale of the following models of printers manufactured by Zebra:

      Miller Fireworks of Holland, Ohio, is recalling about 3,800 ball bullet rocket fireworks.

      The fireworks are overloaded with pyrotechnics intended to produce an audible effect, violating the federal regulatory requirements for this product.

      Overloaded fireworks can result in a greater than expected explosion, posing burn and explosion hazards to consumers.

      The fireworks are banned hazardous substances and are prohibited from being sold under the Federal Hazardous Substances Act

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves ball bullet rocket fireworks packed in bags of four with model number LB6103 and M-150 cracker fireworks packed in boxes of 36 with model number LA150B. The model numbers are printed on the packaging.

      The recalled ball bullet rocket fireworks were sold with four different colored fireworks and have “Ball Bullet Rocket” printed on the packaging. The M-150 cracker fireworks were sold in a yellow/orange box and have “Legend Fireworks M-150 Cracker 36 Pieces” printed on the front of the box.

      The fireworks, manufactured in China, were sold at Fremont Fireworks stores in Indiana, Miller Fireworks and J&W Fireworks stores in Ohio and Red Falcon Fireworks and Rocky’s Fireworks stores in Michigan from May 2017, through June 2018, for between $4 and $13.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled fireworks and return them to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Newmar recalls model year 2018 motorhomes with electrical issue

      The vehicles' slide-out rooms may move in or out unexpectedly

      Newmar Corporation is recalling 930 model year 2018 Newmar Bay Star, King Aire, London Aire, Mountain Aire, Bay Star Sport, Canyon Star, Dutch Star, Essex, New Aire, Ventana LE, and Ventana motorhomes.

      When the ignition key is in the off/accessory position and the battery disconnect is on, the slide-out rooms on these vehicles may move in or out unexpectedly, increasing the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Newmar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the slide-out room controller, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 27, 2018.
