    Target recalls Room Essentials 4-drawer dressers

    The dressers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall

    Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn., is recalling about 178,000 Room Essentials 4-drawer dressers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

    The dressers are unstable if not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.

    The firm has received 12 reports of dressers tipping or collapsing, including tipping over on two three-year-old children. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves Room Essentials 4-drawer dressers sold in three colors. The dressers measure 41 7/8 inches tall by 31 ½ inches wide by 15 11/16 inches deep.

    Model number 249-05-0103 (black), 249-05-0106 (espresso), or 249-05-0109 (maple) is printed on the product’s packaging.

    The dressers, manufactured in Denmark, were sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com from January 2013, through April 2016, for about $118.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using a recalled dresser that is not properly anchored to the wall and place it in an area that children cannot access. Consumers should return the recalled dresser to any Target store for a full refund.

    Erwin Hymer Group recalls model year 2016-2018 Hymer Aktiv RVs

    The exhaust pipe may melt the rear bumper cover

    Erwin Hymer Group North America is recalling 195 model year 2016-2018 Hymer Aktiv recreational vehicles, built on RAM Promaster chassis and equipped with a Continental kit (CK).

    The exhaust pipe may melt the rear bumper cover and the taillight wiring, causing the tail light not to function, increasing the risk of a crash. Additionally, the exhaust heat can burn anyone contacting the bumper cover immediately after the vehicle has been operated.

    What to do

    Erwin Hymer has notified owners, and dealers will install a new tailpipe that redirects the exhaust down, away from the bumper area, free of charge. The recall began on September 1, 2017.

    Coborn’s recalls American Rye and Caraway bread

    The products contain milk, soy and egg, allergens not declared on the label

    Coborn's is recalling American Rye Bread and Caraway Bread containing milk, soy and egg, allergens not declared on the label.

    No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

    The following items, distributed and sold at Coborn’s and Cash Wise Stores in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota; Marketplace Foods stores in Western Wisconsin; and CobornsDelivers in the Twin Cities Metro area, are being recalled:

    The recalled products have an expiration date of September 7 or earlier.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled products and are allergic to soy, milk and/or egg should return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund or destroy it.

      Forest River recalls model year 2018 XLR ToyHaulers

      The federal placard may contain incorrect tire and rim combination information

      Forest River is recalling 34 model year 2018 XLR ToyHaulers, models XLT23KW and XLT23KW-W.

      The vehicles' federal placard may not provide the incorrect tire and rim combination information of ST225/75R15/E tires needing 80 PSI and rims of 16X6.0JJ.

      As such, the vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

      If the information is incorrect, operators could install the incorrect size replacement tires, which can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners and provide a corrected federal placard, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 23, 2017.

      Thor Motor Coach recalls Four Winds, Chateau and Freedom Elite RVs

      The liquid propane hose may become pinched and leak fuel

      Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling 860 model year 2018 Four Winds, Chateau and Freedom Elite recreational vehicles.

      The liquid propane (LP) hose may sag and become pinched between the frame and the leaf spring u-bolts, potentially damaging the hose and causing a propane leak, posing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      TMC will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the LP hose routing and install additional P-clamps or relocate the P-clamps to properly secure the hose, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 23, 2017.

      Simply Fresh Foods recalls San Francisco Seafood Salad

      The product contains milk, an allergen not declared on the individual cups inside the carton

      Simply Fresh Foods of Buena Park, Calif., is recalling 272 cases of of San Francisco Seafood Salad Made with Greek Yogurt.

      The individual cups inside the carton may be mislabeled as Seafood Salad with Real Mayonnaise and does not declare "milk." The outer carton is correct and has the correct ingredient statement which declares "milk."

      It may be consumed safely by consumers who are not allergic to milk and have no other concern with milk.

      No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

      The following item, which comes in a 4-pack of 4-oz. single serve cups, with the Use By date code 10/15/17 B10 on the back of the outer carton, is being recalled:

      • Carton: UPC 47502 19701 San Francisco Seafood Salad with Greek Yogurt 4 4-oz. (113 g) cups - Net Wt. 16 oz. (1 LB) 454 g
      • Single Serve Cup: UPC 47502 19001 San Francisco Seafood Salad with Real Mayonnaise Net Wt. 4-oz.

      The recalled product was distributed through retail stores in Arizona, Utah, Washington, Oregon, Indiana, and Georgia.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products may return it to the place of purchase for a full refund, or discard it.

      Forest River recalls Rockwood and Flagstaff recreational trailers

      The spindle nut on the axles may not have been torqued to properly

      Forest River is recalling 69 model year 2018 Rockwood and Flagstaff recreational trailers equipped with Dexter Axles.

      The spindle nut on the axles may not have been torqued to the proper specifications.

      The overtightened nut may cause the hub bearings to fail and the tire and rim to separate from the axle resulting in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and Dexter axle dealers will inspect and replace any suspect bearings, hubs, and spindle nuts, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 19, 2017.

      L.L. Bean of Freeport, Maine, is recalling about 2,000 toddler sweater fleece pullovers.

      The snaps on the fleece pullovers can detach, posing a choking hazard.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves L.L. Bean toddler sweater fleece pullovers sold in sizes 2T, 3T and 4T.

      The pullovers have blue trim and were sold in three colors; deep garnet (red), heather gray and light lilac with four snaps, two pockets and the L.L. Bean logo tag on the front.

      Item number 300206 and lot 02/17 are printed on woven tags in attached to the neckline of the pullovers.

      The garments, manufactured in Jordan, were sold exclusively at L.L. Bean stores nationwide, L.L. Bean catalog and online at www.llbean.com from April 2017 through August 2017 for about $50.

      What to do

      Ameriwood Home recalls chests of drawers

      The chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall

      Ameriwood Home of Tiffin, Ohio, is recalling about 1.6 million Mainstays chests of drawers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The chests of drawers are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that can result in death or injuries to children.

      The chests do not comply with the performance requirements of the U.S. voluntary industry standard (ASTM F2057-14).

      There is one report of an injury after a chest of drawers tipped over onto a four-year-old.

      This recall involves Mainstays four-drawer chests of drawers with plastic drawer glides and a single decorative pull on each drawer.

      The composite wood chests were sold in six colors: alder, black forest, white, weathered oak, walnut and ruby red. The chests measure 40 5/16 inches high by 27 11/16 inches wide by 14 11/16 inches deep.

      Model numbers included in the recall are 5412012WP, 5412301WP, 5412328WP, 5412015WY, 5412301WY, 5412012PCOM, 5412015PCOM, 5412026PCOM, 5412213PCOM, 5412214PCOM, 5412301PCOM, 5412317PCOM, and 5412328PCOM. The model number is printed on the instruction manual.

      The chests, manufactured in the U.S. and Canada, were sold at Walmart stores and other retailers nationwide and online at Walmart.com from April 2009, through May 2016, for about $60.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using any recalled chest that is not properly anchored to the wall and place it into an area that children cannot access.

      Forest River recalls Prime Time recreational trailers

      The Gross Axle Weight Rating is listed incorrectly on the federal placard

      Forest River is recalling 33 model year 2018 Prime Time recreational trailers, models WCF32WB, WCF34WB, and WCF37WB.

      The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on the federal placard is listed as 6,160lbs when the axle is only rated for 6,000lbs. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      The incorrect GAWR may cause the vehicle to be overloaded and the axle to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the incorrect federal placard and cargo carrying capacity label, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin October 16, 2017.
