    Kroger recalls Yellow Sponge Cake Dessert Cups

    The product contains milk, an allergen not declared on the label

    The Kroger Co. is recalling Kroger Dessert Cups –Yellow Sponge Cake containing milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

    One customer illness has been reported to date.

    Kroger is recalling the following item:

    The recalled product was sold in all stores operating under names Kroger, Owen’s, Pay Less, Scott’s, Gerbes, Ruler Foods, Dillons, Baker’s, Food4Less and Jay C, in Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not it, but return it to a store for a full refund or replacement.

    Consumers with questions may contact Kroger at 1-800-KROGERS, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. (ET) and Saturday through Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (ET).

    Highland Ridge recalls fifth wheels and travel trailers

    The LED ceiling lights may produce excessive heat.

    Highland Ridge RV is recalling 3,379 model year 2017 Open Range, Highlander, Light and Roamer and Mesa Ridge fifth wheels and Mesa Ridge, Light, Roamer and Ultra Lite travel trailers.

    The LED ceiling lights may produce excessive heat, increasing the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Highland Ridge will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected LED ceiling lights with a different light, free of charge. The recall began on May 23, 2017.

    Model year 2014 XLR Hyperlite toyhaulers recalled

    An axle issue could result in the loss of vehicle control

    Forest River is recalling 487 model year 2014 XLR Hyperlite toyhaulers.

    The vehicles have an axle equalizer knurled bolt (axle shackle locating bolt) that may not be properly seated in the chassis axle hanger.

    If the equalizer knurled bolt is not installed properly, it may not secure the axle properly, allowing it to shift and result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace any equalizer knurled bolts and nuts that were improperly installed, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on June 28, 2017.

      Kreative Kids recalls children’s robes

      The garments fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear

      Kreative Kids of Pomona, Calif., is recalling about 7,600 children’s robes.

      The garments fail to meet flammability standards for children’s sleepwear posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall includes eight styles of children’s 100-percent polyester, hooded robes. The robes were sold in sizes 4-6 and 7-9 in the following styles: purple elephant, lion, pink bear, lady bug, blue puppy, duck, monkey and princess cat.

      A label sewn in the robes has item number 2013NW081 and “Kreative Kids” printed on it. The robes also have a hood, long-sleeves, a belt, cinched back and two front pockets.

      The robes, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com and at gift and specialty stores in California, Iowa, New York, Ohio and Texas from September 2013, through April 2017, for between $15 and $17.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled robes away from children and contact Kreative Kids for a full refund.
