    Model year 2017 Slingshots, Slingshot SLs and Slingshot SLRs recalled

    The vehicles could experience a reduction of steering and/or front suspension performance

    Polaris Industries is recalling 254 model year 2017 Slingshots, Slingshot SLs, and Slingshot SLRs.

    Three of the bolted connections between the steering and the front suspension may have been insufficiently tightened, possibly resulting in a reduction of steering and/or front suspension performance.

    Reduced steering and/or suspension performance can affect vehicle handling, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Polaris will notify owners, and dealers will replace the affected nuts and bolts, tightening them correctly, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

    Kia recalls model year 2017 Niros

    The vehicle could experience a loss of electric power steering assistance

    Kia Motors America is recalling 135 model year 2017 Niros.

    The recalled vehicles may have a damaged Motor Driven Power Steering (MDPS) connector resulting in a loss of electric power steering assistance.

    Loss of power steering assist would require higher steering effort, especially at lower speeds, which may increase the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Kia will notify owners, and dealers will replace the MDPS motor, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 7, 2017.

    Tegol recalls Outlaw V-5 Series helmets

    The helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in a motorcycle crash

    Tegol, Inc. is recalling 11,487 Outlaw V-5 Series helmets, in all sizes.

    The helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in the event of a head impact during a motorcycle crash. Additionally, they may not stay secured to head during a crash.

    As such, the helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."

    A helmet that fails to meet safety requirements can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

    What to do

    Tegol will notify owners and refund owners the price of the helmet, free of charge. The recall was expected to begin March 20, 2017.

      Aroma Imports recalls Nabelsi brand thyme

      The product may contain excessive levels of lead

      Aroma Imports of Dearborn Heights, Mich., is recalling 450-g and 4.5-kg packages of Nabelsi brand thyme.

      The product may contain excessive levels of lead.

      There have been two cases of high blood levels of lead associated with this product to date.

      The recalled product was distributed from November 7, 2016, until February 22, 2017, to retailers, food service establishments, and wholesalers in Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey and Virginia.

      The 450-g size (UPC: 4670000205314) is packaged in a mostly green foil/mylar bag that is not transparent on either side. The 4.5-kg size (UPC: 6670000205374) packaging is a silver foil/mylar bag.

      The production date for both sizes is 08/20/2016 and the expiration date is 08/20/2018. The production and expiration dates can be found on the back lower left corner of the 450-g package and back lower right of the 4.5-kg package. The 450-g packages are packed 24 per case and the 4.5-kg packages are packed two per case.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Model year 2017 Jaguar F-PACE vehicles recalled

      The vehicle could suffer a loss of drive power

      Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 25 model year 2017 Jaguar F-PACE vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions.

      The recalled vehicles may have been built with a rear driveshaft that is too short, potentially resulting the driveshaft separating from the vehicle.

      If the driveshaft detaches, a loss of drive power would result, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the driveshafts, replacing any that are incorrect, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 1, 2017.

      Heavy loading may cause tire failure

      Airstream is recalling 293 model year 2017 Base Camp recreational trailers.

      When the trailer is heavily loaded, the axle travel may allow the tires on these vehicles to contact the plastic liner of the wheel well or fender, possibly resulting in tire failure.

      Tire failure can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Airstream will notify owners, and dealers will replace the axle to limit the axle travel, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 9, 2017.

      Flagship Food Group recalls frozen burrito product

      The product may be contaminated with hard clear plastic

      Flagship Food Group of Albuquerque, N.M., is recalling approximately 8,622 pounds of a frozen burrito product.

      The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically hard clear plastic.

      One minor oral injury associated with consumption of this product has been reported.

      The following frozen breakfast burrito item, produced on September 22, 2016, is being recalled:

      • 12-oz. 12”x5” paper card with plastic overwrap package labeled as “TRADER JOSE’S BREAKFAST BURRITOS Eggs, Potatoes, Cheese, Turkey Bacon,” lot code 266, SKU 96132 with package code A26616PFFG3 and case code 100-101280.

      The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. P-45574” located on the package, was shipped to retail distribution centers in Illinois and Pennsylvania.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.

      The trailers may not be equipped with a smoke detector

      Keystone RV Company is recalling 30 model year 2017 Cougar and Laredo recreational trailers.

      The recalled vehicles may have been incorrectly equipped with two carbon monoxide detectors instead of one smoke detector and one carbon monoxide detector.

      Without a smoke detector, the trailer occupants have an increased risk of injury in the event of a fire.

      What to do

      Keystone will notify owners and dealers will inspect the trailers and install a smoke detector, if necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin March 17, 2017.

      Prime Time Manufacturing Crusader recreational trailers recalled

      The federal placard contains incorrect axle capacity information

      Forest River is recalling 11 model year 2017 Prime Time Manufacturing Crusader recreational trailers, model CSF338RSK.

      The vehicle's federal placard indicates the trailers have axles with a 7,000 lb. Capacity, when their actual capacity is 6,000 lbs.

      As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."

      Incorrect axle information on the placard can result in the trailer being overloaded, causing a loss of control and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners and dealers will replace the Federal placard with a corrected placard, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin May 2, 2017.

      REV Recreation Group recalls motorhomes with fuel pump issue

      The external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter may not be properly secured to the chassis

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 742 model year 2015 Fleetwood Bounder Classic motorhomes, 2015-2016 Fleetwood Terra motorhomes; model year 2016-2017 Fleetwood Storm, Holiday Rambler Admiral XE and Fleetwood Flair motorhomes, and mode;l year 2017 Holiday Rambler Vacationer XE motorhomes.

      The recalled vehicles, equipped with an Onan 5.5 kilowatt generator, have an external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter that may be improperly secured to the chassis.

      If the fuel pump or filter detach or become loose, a fuel leak may result, which in the presence of an ignition source, can increase the risk of a fire or explosion.

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the mounting of the generator's external fuel pump and in-line fuel filter, securing them as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin April 28, 2017.

      The product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No consumer complaints or illnesses have been reported to date.

      Porsche recalls model year 2017 vehicles with windshield issue

      The windshield may detach from the vehicle in a crash

      Porsche Cars North America is recalling 21 model year 2017 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet, 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, 911 Targa S, 911 Targa 4S, 911 Turbo Cabriolet, 718 Boxter and 718 Boxter S vehicles.

      During manufacturing, the windshield may not have been properly bonded to the vehicle, allowing it to detach in a crash.

      As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 212, "Windshield Mounting."

      Separation of the windshield from the vehicle during a crash could increase the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will rebond the windshield, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Regeneca Worldwide recalls herbal and dietary supplement products

      The recall was ordered by a federal court

      Regeneca Worldwide is recalling its entire line of herbal and dietary supplement products pursuant to a consent decree entered by the federal court for the Central District of California.

      The recall applies to all products manufactured and sold between June 1, 2011, and February 8, 2017. These products include, but are not limited to all lot numbers of RegeneSlim, RegenErect, RegeneArouse, RegeneBlend, RegeneBoost, RegeneBlast, and RegeneFit.

      The recalled products were sold on line nationwide online using the company's websites, and through a direct sales force within the U.S. and Puerto Rico for both consumption and retail sales.

      The company has ceased doing business in the U.S.

      What to do

      Consumers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them immediately and return them to the place of purchase for a possible exchange.

      R.W. Beckett recalls fuel oil valves

      Fuel may leak, posing a fire hazard

      R.W. Beckett of North Ridgeville, Ohio, is recalling about 18,000 Firomatic fusible safety valves.

      The safety valve stem does not properly seal and shut off the flow of fuel, allowing fuel to leak and posing a fire hazard.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Firomatic ½ inch FPT Fusible Safety Valves series 200 Fusible Inline valve, 1/2F X 1/2F Out. The valves are located on the fuel lines that lead to oil-burning appliances.

      The valves have a UL metal ring on top of the body of the valve stamped with “FIROMATIC SERIES 200.” “Firomatic” is cast into the body of the recalled valves.

      The valves, manufactured in China, were sold at HVAC wholesale distributors including Ferguson Enterprises, FW Webb, Johnstone Supply, RE Michel Co and Sid Harvey Industries nationwide and from September 2011, through September 2016, for about $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately contact R.W. Beckett for a free repair kit or a replacement valve and free installation.

      A&H Focal recalls 29 products marketed as dietary supplements

      The products may contain erectile dysfunction ingredients not listed on the label

      A&H Focal is recalling 29 products marketed as dietary supplements because many contain PDE-5 Inhibitors (i.e. sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil, etc.) which is the active ingredient in an FDA-approved drug for erectile dysfunction (ED).

      That makes the tainted dietary supplements unapproved drugs.

      The undeclared active ingredients pose a threat because the PDE-5 Inhibitors may interact with nitrates found in some prescription drugs such as nitroglycerin and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels. Consumers with diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or heart disease often take nitrates.

      The following products sold mainly through Asian Markets located in New Jersey and New York, are being recalled:

      Craftsman portable table saws recalled

      The table saw’s stand can collapse unexpectedly

      Rexon Industrial Corp., Ltd. of Taiwan is recalling about 46,000 Craftsman portable table saws

      The table saw’s stand can collapse unexpectedly, posing laceration and impact injury hazards to the operator.

      The firm has received 11 reports of the table saw collapsing, including nine reports of injuries to fingers and hands, including broken bones, lacerations, a shoulder strain, and a partial fingernail amputation.

      The recall involves model number 137.415030 Craftsman brand 10-inch table saws. The table saws sit on a black metal foldable stand. “15 AMP 10-inch table saw,” “Sears Brands Mgt. Corp.” and the model and serial numbers are printed on a silver label on the front.

      Serial numbers included in the recall begin with the following letters:
