    Tesla is recalling 2,567 model year 2020 Model Y vehicles with a global rear lamp and tow package configuration.

    A software error prevents the illumination of trailer brake lights.

    Trailer brake lights that fail to illuminate during braking increase the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Tesla will notify owners, and has released the firmware update over-the-air (OTA) to vehicles as of September 23, 2020.

    The P2K Bunk Bed System motor may fail, causing the bunk to fall

    Forest River is recalling 67 model year 2021 Coachmen Sportscoach and Forest River Georgetown motorhomes.

    The P2K Bunk Bed System motor may fail, causing the bunk to fall from the stowed position.

    If the motor fails, the bunk may fall while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.

    What to do

    Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the bunk motor free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin November 11, 2020.

    Taher recalls Tator Tot and Sloppy Joe meat products

    The recalled products did not undergo federal inspection

    Taher, Inc., of Plymouth, Minn., is recalling approximately 22,096 pounds of Tator Tot and Sloppy Joe meat products.

    The recalled products did not undergo federal inspection.

    There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

    The following frozen meat items, produced and packaged from Feb. 25, 2020, through Sept. 22, 2020, are being recalled:

    • 16-lb. boxes containing 4 bags of “Fresh Seasons Tator Tot Hot Dish” with lot code 056-282 and barcode 108101060239.
    • 16-lb. boxes containing 4 bags of “Fresh Seasons Sloppy Joe” with lot code 065-269 and barcode 1081010602366.

    The recalled products, which may or may not bear establishment number “EST. 45091” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to institutions and food service locations in Minnesota.

    What to do

    Institutions and food service locations that purchased the recalled products should not serve them, but discard or return them to the place of purchase.

      Failure of the bedlift motor gear may allow the bed to extend

      Lippert Components, Inc. (LCI) is recalling 426 electric motors in LCI Power Bedlift systems, part number 346074.

      The bedlift motor may fail due to internal gear failure, causing the bed to extend from a stowed position.

      What to do

      LCI will notify the recreational vehicle manufacturers that purchased the bedlift systems, and dealers for those manufacturers will replace the bedlift motors free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin November 6, 2020.

      The size and consistency of the product make it a potential choking hazard

      Hadson Toko Trading Co. of Maspeth, N.Y,. is recalling 28.2-oz (800-g) bags of Eishindo Mini Cup Jelly (迷你果凍杯(大).

      The size and consistency of the product make it a potential choking hazard. Small jelly cups have previously been implicated in choking deaths of children.

      No incidents of consumers choking have been reported to date.

      The large clear bags of 50 jelly cups with UPC code 4970481000034 and product code E007 were sold in retail food stores nationwide.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should discard or return it to the store where purchased for a full refund.

      Debris in the hybrid battery may cause a fire

      BMW of North America is recalling 4,509 model year 2020-2021 530e, 530e xDrive, 530e iPerformance, X3 xDrive30e & MINI Cooper Countryman All4 SE, model year 2020 BMW i8, and model year 2021 330e, 330e xDrive, 745Le xDrive and X5 xDrive45e vehicles.

      Debris may have entered one or more of the hybrid battery cells during their production.

      The debris could result in a short-circuit, increasing the risk of fire or injury.

      What to do

      The remedy is currently being developed. Until the remedy is available, drivers will be instructed to not charge their vehicles. Drivers will also be instructed to not drive in manual mode, sport mode, and to not use the shift paddles.

      The recall is expected to begin November 23, 2020.

      The kayaks may fall from the kayak cradle while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      DICK'S will notify owners to return the Kayak Cradle for a full refund with a receipt, or provide store credit without a receipt.

      Sales BSD recalls Homerygardens Extension Cord Splitters

      The wire size of the extension cords cannot handle the appropriate amp load

      Sales BSD of Brooklyn, N.Y., is recalling about 5,700 

      Homerygardens 4-Outlet, 6-foot long Indoor and Outdoor Extension Cord Splitters.

      The wire size of the extension cords cannot handle the appropriate amp load and lacks protective features, posing a fire hazard.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves the Homerygardens Outdoor Extension Cord Splitters that are six feet long, and black with four outlets and an on/off switch.

      The extension cord splitters, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com and Walmart.com from March 2019, through August 2020, for between $11 and $23.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled extension cords and contact Sales BSD Inc. to return the product for a full refund. Shipping and handling will be at no cost to consumers. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      The power seat wiring may short circuit

      Jayco is recalling 433 model year 2019-2021 Entegra Aspire, model year 2020-2021 Anthem & Cornerstone, and model year 2021 Reatta, ReattaXL, & Jayco Embark motorhomes with Villa power seats.

      The power seat wiring may become chafed due to poor routing, and no protection, or melt from exceeding the 14 gauge wire amp capacity.

      Damaged power seat wires may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners, and the dealers will place the seat wiring in the loom and secure it with wire ties free of charge.

      The remedy regarding the switch and exceeding the amp capacity is still under development.

      The recall is expected to begin November 29, 2020.

      The shifter cable may disconnect from the transmission

      Shyft Group is recalling five model year 2015-2019 Utilimaster Ram ProMaster fleet vehicles.

      The transmission shifter cable may separate and disconnect from the transmission, causing the vehicle to not perform shifts intended by the driver and the gear shift lever position not matching the actual transmission gear.

      The driver may be unaware of the actual gear position and unintended vehicle movement can occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Shyft will notify owners, and Chrysler dealers will replace the transmission shift cable, free of charge.

      The engine block may suffer damage and leak oil

      Forest River is recalling model year 2020-2021 Dynamax Isata vehicles.

      Inadequate warmup protection can cause a lack of oil film on the engine connecting rod bearings while the engine is reaching operating temperature. This can result in engine damage and connecting rod failure, which could potentially puncture the engine block.

      A damaged engine block may leak oil, which can contact hot engine or exhaust components, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and Chrysler dealers will reprogram the engine calibration software to enhance the engine warm up protection free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin November 6, 2020.

      Westinghouse Lighting recalls outdoor ceiling fans

      The fan blades can crack and break

      Westinghouse Lighting of Philadelphia, Pa., is recalling about 3,000 Great Falls outdoor ceiling fans.

      The fan blades can crack and break, posing an impact injury hazard.

      The company has received 62 reports of the fan blades cracking or breaking, including one report of an impact injury.

      This recall involves Westinghouse Lighting’s Great Falls 52” outdoor ceiling fans with four dark walnut blades, frosted amber glass and an LED lamp.

      The fan blades are 22 inches long and have an oil rubbed bronze finish.

      Model number 72043 and a product order number of 016555, 016761, 016647, 017157, 016648 or 017349 are printed on the top of the fan’s motor housing.

      The fans, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com, Homedepot.com, Wayfair.com and independent distributors nationwide from October 2019, through August 2020, for between $170 and $200.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled ceiling fans and contact Westinghouse Lighting for instructions on receiving a free replacement blade kit.

      B&G Foods is recalling Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers.

      A limited number of the cracker boxes were inadvertently filled with foil wrapped pouches of peanut butter cookies, which contain peanut, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

      The recalled product, which comes in a 6-oz. Box, with a UPC of 8-19898-01015-8 and a best by date of April 25, 2021, was sold in retail stores nationwide.

      Customers who purchased the recalled product and are allergic to peanuts should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      HKC-US recalls Harbor Breeze Kingsbury ceiling fans

      The light globe can fall from its housing

      HKC-US of Memphis, Tenn., is recalling about 280,000 Kingsbury 70-inch ceiling fans.

      The light globe can fall from its housing, posing an impact and laceration injury hazards.

      The firm has received 76 reports of the light globe falling, including four laceration injuries.

      This recall involves Harbor Breeze’s Kingsbury indoor ceiling fans manufactured before December 2018.

      The bronze finish fans come with five reversible blades in a distressed mocha finish and have a 70-inch blade span. They also have a frosted glass light and a remote control.

      The manufacture date in MM-YYYY format can be found on a label on top of the motor housing.

      The fans, manufactured in China, were sold at Lowe’s stores nationwide and online at Lowes.com from April 2010, through December 2018, for about $230.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately contact HKC to request a new owner’s manual and light kit label to help ensure correct installation of the light globe.
