    4e Brands North America is recalling ten bottle sizes of hand sanitizers.

    The products may contain methanol (wood alcohol) which can produce nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death.

    There are no reports of adverse events to date.

    Model year 2020-2021 Airstream Interstate motorhomes recalled

    The bolts securing the suspension spring may be too long

    Airstream is recalling 35 model year 2020-2021 Airstream Interstate motorhomes equipped with VB suspension systems.

    The lock portion of the countersink bolts attaching the VB Suspension system to the vehicle may be too long preventing the panhard rod bracket from fully contacting the springs, resulting in bolts absorbing the load instead of the bracket.

    Bolts carrying the load can break, affecting the vehicle handling and increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Airstream will notify owners, and dealers will replace the suspension bolts free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin August 31, 2020.

    Ananda Apothecary recalls essential oils

    The packaging is not child resistant as required by law

    Ananda Apothecary of Boulder, Colo., is recalling about 275 bottles of Wintergreen 100% Pure Essential Oil, Sweet Birch 100% Pure Essential Oil, Super Soother Pure Essential Oil Blend and Breathe Deep Pure Essential Oil Blend.

    The packaging of the products, which contain methyl salicylate, is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall involves Wintergreen, Sweet Birch, Super Soother Blend and Breath Deep Blend Pure Essential Oils in amber glass bottles with black continuous thread closures.

    The white and green/blue label includes the Ananda Apothecary logo, product name, and the volume size of the bottle.

    The table lists the volume sizes for the products and lot numbers which is listed on the top left corner of the label.

    The oils, manufactured in the U.S., were sold exclusively at Anandaessentialoils.com from July 2019, through February 2020, between $2 and $100.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately store the product in a safe location out of reach of children. All known purchasers are being notified directly by Ananda Apothecary about the recall and will receive a full refund for the sample size (0.5 mL) or be sent a free replacement child-resistant closure for the all other sizes.

      Kia recalls model year 2015-2016 Soul Electric Vehicless

      A damaged “Park” mechanism may result in unintended vehicle movement

      Kia Motors America is recalling 3,714 model year 2015-2016 Kia Soul Electric Vehicle.

      The parking mechanism may become damaged if the driver moves the gear shift lever into Park 'P' before the vehicle comes to a complete stop. If the parking mechanism is damaged, unintended vehicle movement may occur when the gear shift lever is in the Park 'P' position and the parking brake is not applied.

      Unintended vehicle movement can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Kia will notify owners, and dealers will update the electronic control unit software free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 7, 2020.

      Sundial Herbal Products is recalling all Sundial Products sold since January 1, 2014.

      The recalled drug products are deemed unapproved drugs based on labeling containing/making drug claims stating the product(s) can diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat or prevent disease. This could result in a delay of appropriate treatment by a healthcare provider.

      No illnesses have been reported to date.

      The front brake hoses may contact the fender liners

      Jayco is recalling 666 model year 2019-2021 Entegra Qwest and Jayco Melbourne and Melbourne Prestige motorhomes built on Mercedes-Benz Sprinter chassis.

      The rear part of the fender liner on the front axle may contact and chafe the brake hose, possibly resulting in a loss of brake fluid.

      Loss of brake fluid can extend the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners, and Mercedes Sprinter dealers will inspect and replace the brake hoses, and the fender liners will be modified free of charge.

      RH US recalls riveted mesh floor lamps

      The lamp’s on/off foot switch can overheat, melt or catch fire,

      RH US of Corte Madera, Calif., is recalling about 1,200 riveted mesh floor lamps sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The lamp’s on/off foot switch can overheat, melt or catch fire.

      The firm has received 11 reports of the lamp’s foot switch overheating, including one report of the foot switch catching fire. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the Riveted Mesh floor lamp with a mesh steel shade, measuring about 74 inches high and 23 inches in diameter. It came with four 60W T9 Edison bulbs and a circular foot on/off switch on the electrical cord at the base.

      SKU number 68270176ISTL is printed on a green label located on the bottom of the lamp base.

      The lamps. Manufactured in China, were sold at RH galleries and outlets nationwide and online at www.restorationhardware.com from November 2012, through March 2019, for between $83 and $825.

      What to do

      Consumers should stop using and unplug the recalled lamp immediately and contact RH for a full refund of the purchase price. RH is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Forest River recalls No Boundaries travel trailers

      The protection device on the electrical circuit may fail

      Forest River is recalling 71 model year 2021 No Boundaries 10.5 and 10.6 travel trailers with Dometic CFX3 Series chest refrigerators (models CFX3 35, CFX3 45, CFX3 55IM, CFX3 75DZ, CFX3 95DZ and CFX3 100).

      The protection device on the electrical circuit may fail when the refrigerator is connected to both AC and DC power, allowing the AC/DC power supply to back feed through some or all of the other appliances (such as the air conditioner, water pump, lights, furnace, etc.) that are connected to the 12V DC system. A voltage overload may result, causing DC appliances on the same circuit to fail.

      A voltage overload may cause electrical damage and increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      The remedy is still under development.

      This recall is expected to begin August 11, 2020.

      Land Rover issues second recall for Range Rovers and Range Rover Sports

      The vehicle's doors may open unexpectedly

      Land Rover is recalling 6,211 model year 2013-2016 Range Rovers and model year 2014-2016 Range Rover Sports previously recalled and repaired in 2019. However the repair may not have been completed properly.

      Due to a problem with the Key less Vehicle Latching System (KV Latch), the Unlatched doors may open while the vehicle is in motion, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Land Rover will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for any issues with the KV system, disabling the KV mechanisms if necessary, and update the KV Latch software free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 28, 2020.

      The packaging is not child resistant

      Pranarom of Minneapolis, Minn., is recalling about 960 bottles of Pranarom Wintergreen Essential Oils.

      The product, which contains methyl salicylate, comes in packaging that is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning to young children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Pranarom wintergreen (Gaultheria fragrantissima) essential oils in .17 fl. oz. (5 mL) amber glass bottles with white caps with the UPC code 8-59493-01067-2 and lot numbers 99WI1233016BNv2 and OF31274v2.

      The white label on the bottle displays the Pranarom logo, product name and the volume amount of the bottle.

      The UPC is located on the back of the label. The lot number is printed next to the UPC on the bottle and on the bottom of the product packaging.

      The oils, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at small, independent grocery stores and food cooperatives nationwide, and online at www.rosemarygarden.com from June 2018, through April 2020, for about $7.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately dispose of the product and contact Pranarom for a free replacement product.

      Forest River recalls model year 2020-2021 Vengeance trailers

      Improperly spaced landing legs may collapse

      Forest River is recalling 370 model year 2020-2021 Vengeance trailers, models VGF351A13-81, VGF371A13-81, VGF383V16-81 and VGF4007V-81.

      The fifth-wheel landing legs may not be seated properly with enough space between the brackets which are welded to the chassis, allowing the fifth wheel to slip down the landing leg and puncture the floor of the vehicle.

      The punctured floor can increase the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will correct the spacing of the landing leg installation to the chassis from 17 1/2" to 17 3/4". These repairs will be done free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 10, 2020.

      KIND recalls Oats & Honey Granola with Toasted Coconut pouches

      Sesame seeds are not listed as an ingredient in the product

      KIND Healthy Snacks is recalling a limited number of Oats & Honey Granola with Toasted Coconut pouches.

      While sesame seeds are not listed as an ingredient in the product, the label does list “sesame seeds” under the “May Contain” statement.

      No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

      The recalled product, sold in a plastic pouch, and available in two sizes -- 11 ounces (UPC: 60265217186-4) and 17 ounces (UPC: 60265225101-6) -- was sold through retail stores and ecommerce sites nationwide.

      The following “Best By Dates” are on the bottom of the pouch:

      • For the 11-oz pouch, the Best By dates range from April 4, 2021 to June 1, 2021
      • For the 17-oz pouch, the Best By dates range from April 30, 2021 to June 1, 2021

      What to do

      Porsche recalls model year 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupes

      The front axle differential bracket may come loose

      Porsche Cars North America is recalling 14 model year 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S Coupes.

      The front axle differential bracket may not have been tightened correctly. If it comes loose, the differential could cause damage to surrounding components.

      Components such as the fuel tank or drive shafts may become damaged from the loose differential. Damage to the fuel tank can result in fuel leakage, which in the presence of an ignition source may increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Porsche will notify owners, and dealers will remove the front axle differential to check the screw threads, and to inspect surrounding components for any consequential damage.

      Depending on the inspection result, the front axle differential will be reinstalled or replaced using new screw joints torqued to the required specification.

      All work will be performed free of charge.

      This recall is expected to begin August 25, 2020.

      ITECH 361 is recalling 18,940 bottles of All Clean Hand Sanitizer, Moisturizer and Disinfectant.

      The products may contain methanol (wood alcohol) which can produce nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death.

      There are no reports of adverse events to date.

      The recalled product, which is used as a hand sanitizer and moisturizer, and packaged in one-liter plastic bottles with UPC Code 628055370130, was sold by retailers nationwide.

      Jayco recalls model year 2017 North Point fifth wheel trailers

      The leaf springs do not provide adequate suspension support

      Jayco is recalling 1,409 model year 2017 North Point fifth wheel trailers.

      The leaf springs in the front and rear suspension of the vehicle do not provide adequate load support and may allow the tires to contact the surrounding structure under certain dynamic load conditions.

      Tires contact with the wheel well or surrounding structure may cause damage to the tire, or cause premature tire wear and loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will install a rubber bump stop into the top sides of the axles, as well as inspect the suspension and replace any defective leaf springs as necessary.

      Tires with visible damage will be replaced as well.

      All repairs will be performed free of charge. 

      This recall is expected to begin July 17, 2020.

      The lid can become energized, posing an electric shock hazard

      Lidl US Trading of Arlington, Va., is recalling about 1,840 Silvercrest bread makers.

      The bread maker’s lid can become energized, posing an electric shock hazard.

      There has been one incident of the bread maker becoming energized. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Lidl’s Silvercrest bread maker. It is a rectangular shaped white and silver appliance with an electronic display, buttons, and a lid on the top.

      Affected units have IAN 319996, IAN 304926, or IAN 295433 on a sticker on the bottom of each machine and on the product packaging. ”Silvercrest” is imprinted on the front of the machine.

      The drawbar and coupler may fracture

      Forest River is recalling two model year 2016 Amera-Lite Cargo Van trailers, model ALD612SA.

      The thickness of the steel tubes used to manufacture the trailer's drawbars may be insufficient for the vehicle's Gross Vehicle Weight Rating.

      The drawbars can fracture and fail during operation, potentially resulting in a loss of control or the trailer detaching from the tow vehicle. Either scenario increases the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will replace the drawbars free of charge.

      GloryBee Wintergreen Essential Oil recalled

      The product's packaging is not child resistant as required by federal law

      GloryBee Natural Sweeteners of Eugene, Ore., is recalling about 540 bottles of GloryBee Wintergreen Essential Oil.

      The product, which contains methyl salicylate, comes in packaging that is not child resistant as required by federal law, posing a risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves GloryBee Wintergreen Essential Oil in amber glass bottles with black caps. The essential oils were sold in 0.5 fl. oz. (15 mL), 1 fl. oz. (30 mL), 4 fl. oz. (118 mL) and 16 fl. oz. (473 mL).

      “Wintergreen,” “Gaultheria procumbens,” “100% Pure Undiluted,” the GloryBee logo and the volume amount are printed on the brown labels.

      The lot numbers for the recalled products are printed on the front of the label. The UPC codes are located next to the barcode.

      The oils, manufactured in the U.S., were sold online at GloryBee.com and at specialty and health food stores nationwide from October 2016, through August 2019, for between $4 and $57.

      Forest River recalls model year 2021 Palomino Columbus recreational trailers

      Exhaust fumes can re-enter the trailer through the slide-out room seals

      Forest River is recalling nine model year 2021 Palomino Columbus recreational trailers, models CMF389FL, CMF389FLC and CMF389FLW.

      As built, the furnace vents under the rear slide out room, allowing exhaust fumes to re-enter the trailer through the slide-out room seals.

      Exhaust fumes that enter the unit through the slide seals may result in carbon monoxide poisoning or death.

      What to do

      Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remedy the location of the furnace vent.

      This recall is expected to begin August 5, 2020.

      Granules Pharmaceuticals recalls Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets

      The medication may be contaminated with a probable cancer-causer

      Granules Pharmaceuticals of Chantilly, Va., is recalling 12 lots of Metformin Hydrochloride Extended-Release Tablets.

      Analysis shows the prescription oral medication, used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood glucose control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus, exceeded the Acceptable Daily Intake Limit for the impurity N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA).

      NDMA is classified as a probable human carcinogen (a substance that could cause cancer).

      The firm has not received any reports of adverse events.
