    The product may contain peanut, almond, milk and soy, allergens not declared on the label

    Giant Eagle is recalling Giant Eagle Dried Island Fruit Mix.

    The product may contain peanut, almond, milk and soy, allergens not declared on the label.

    No illnesses are reported to date.

    The recalled product, with a “best by” date of January 15, 2021, and UPC 3003491435, was sold in the produce department of the Carmel Market District in Indiana, the Edinboro Giant Eagle in Pennsylvania and select Giant Eagle and Market District locations in Ohio.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should dispose of it or return a qualifying receipt to their local Giant Eagle or Market District store for a refund.

    Cookware Company recalls Greenpan SimmerLite Dutch Ovens

    The lid on the dutch oven can explode while it is in the oven

    The Cookware Company (USA) of Irvington, N.Y., is recalling about 11,160 Greenpan SimmerLite Dutch Ovens with lids.

    The lid on the dutch oven can explode while it is inside the oven, posing injury and burn hazards to the consumer.

    The firm has received four consumer reports of incidents, including three reports of the lid exploding while the product was in the oven, resulting in one report of property damage. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves the Greenpan Simmerlite Dutch Oven with Lid. sold in six sizes, 3.5Q-7.0Q, and two colors: Black Metallic and Smokey Sky Blue.

    The top of the lid says “THE DUTCH OVEN” and “GREENPAN.” The bottom of the lid states “Dishwasher Safe. The Dutch Oven Designed and Engineered in Belgium.”

    The bottom of the oven states “Original GreenPan with Magneto2 Induction Technology All Heat Sources Including Induction.”

    There is a four-digit date code laser etched onto the back of the sidehandles. The UPC code is printed on the bottom of the box under the barcode.

    The Dutch Ovens, manufactured in China, were sold online at Greenpan.us, Amazon.com, Macys.com, Surlatable.com, Food52.com and in various independent gourmet kitchen stores nationwide from September 2018, through May 2020, for between $100 and $170.

    What to do

    Consumers should stop using the recalled Dutch Ovens immediately and contact Cookware Company for a full refund or a free replacement glass lid.

      The headboard can separate from the side rails

      Crate and Barrel of Northbrook, Ill., is recalling about 2,440 Parke twin and full beds.

      The headboard can separate from the side rails, posing a fall hazard.

      The firm has received nine reports of incidents of the headboard separating from the frame, including two foot injuries.

      This recall involves Crate and Barrel Parke model twin and full platform beds with a wood headboard and frame. The following SKU numbers and colors are included in the recall.

      The beds, manufactured in Vietnam, were sold at Crate and Barrel stores nationwide and online at www.crateandbarrel.com from December 2018, through January 2020, for about $500 for the twin bed and about $600 for the full bed.

      Jayco recalls Greyhawk, Redhawk and Envoy motorhomes

      The leveling system mounting bracket may fail

      Jayco is recalling 3,629 model year 2016-2018 Greyhawk & Redhawk, and model year 2018 Envoy 100 & 200 Series motorhomes.

      The mounting bracket for the leveling system hydraulic pump may fail and allow the pump or the fluid reservoir to contact the ground.

      If the mounting bracket fails and allows the pump and reservoir to contact the ground and possibly detach or leak hydraulic fluids, the risk of a crash increases.

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners and dealers will add a support bracket to reinforce the existing support bracket free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 14, 2020.

      Mitsubishi recalls Outlander and Outlander PHEV vehicles

      The right rear seat belt buckle may be inoperative

      Mitsubishi Motors North America is recalling 177,000 model year 2014-2019 Outlander and model year 2018-2019 Outlander PHEV vehicles.

      The second-row center seat belt buckle may interfere with the right-side seat belt buckle when the seat backs are folded down.

      The interference may cause the right-side seat belt buckle cover to come off, making the buckle latch inoperable and unable to restrain an occupant.

      An unrestrained occupant has an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.

      What to do

      Mitsubishi will notify owners, and dealers will modify the second-row center seat belt buckle cover, install a new warning label to the second-row seat support base, and provide a new warning label insert for the owner's manual free of charge.

      This recall is expected to begin September 11, 2020.

      Nutraceutical recalls Simplers Botanicals Wintergreen Essential Oil

      The packaging is not child resistant as required by law

      Nutraceutical Corporation of Park City, Utah, is recalling about 14,000 bottles of Simplers Botanicals Organic Wintergreen (Gaultheria Fragrantissiam) Essential Oil.

      The packaging of the product, which contains methyl salicylate, is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Simplers Botanicals Organic Wintergreen (Gaultheria Fragrantissiam) Essential Oil in 5 mL amber bottles with white continuous thread closure.

      The blue and white label on the front of the bottle displays the Simplers Botanicals logo, product name and volume. A bar code on the back of the bottle includes the UPC code 617626625472.

      Products manufactured after January 2019, have a white push and turn closure that is child-resistant.

      The oils, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Earth Fare, Vitamin Shoppe and Mom’s Organic Market nationwide, Whole Foods (Southern and Northern California, New England, Midwest, Pacific Northwest, South, Rocky Mountain region), and other stores, online at Gary’s World of Wellness and Lucky Vitamins (Pennsylvania) from August 2013, through February 2019, for about $9.

      What to do

      The axial pivot pin on the towbar may loosen or fail.

      If the axial pivot pin loosens or fails, it may result in separation of the hitch and activation of secondary safety features, increasing the risk of a crash.

      Hafiz Foods of Houston, Texas, is recalling approximately 675 pounds of chicken samosas.

      The product contains poultry that did not undergo federal inspection.

      There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following ready-to-cook, frozen chicken items, produced from May 2020, to June 29, 2020, are being recalled:

      • 12-oz. box packages labeled “RAZA FOODS Chicken Samosa” with date codes 05/21, 06/21, or 0518021 through 0629021, or 5182021 through 6292021 (inclusive).
      • 12-oz. box packages labeled “TAZA CHICKEN SAMOSAS” with date codes 05/21, 06/21, or 0518021 through 0629021, or 5182021 through 6292021 (inclusive).
      • 100-oz clear plastic bags containing approximately 100 chicken samosas that do not bear any labeling or codes.

      The recalled products, bearing establishment number “EST. 44163” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to retail and deli locations in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia.

      The plastic bag items were donated to community organizations in the Houston, Texas, area in May and June 2020.

      The products, which contain methyl salicylate, come in packaging that is not child resistant, posing a risk of poisoning to young children.

      This recall involves Miracle Botanicals Wintergreen Essential Oil and Birch Essential Oil in 5 mL, 10 mL and 30 mL amber glass bottles with black caps.

      “Miracle Botanicals”, “Sweet Birch” and “Wintergreen” are printed on the white label.

      Each bottle displays the product name.

      The oils, manufactured in the U.S., were sold online at MiracleBotanicals.com, Amazon.com and Etsy.com from July 2016, through April 2020, for between $8 and $19.

      The alternator terminal nut may loosen

      Kia Motors America is recalling 5,385 model year 2020 Sedonas.

      The battery positive (B+) terminal nut on the alternator may not have been tightened properly during assembly, possibly causing it to loosen over time.

      If the alternator B+ terminal nut loosens, electrical arcing may result, increasing the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Kia will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the alternator B+ terminal nut, tightening it -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin August 14, 2020.

      Cooper Lighting Solutions of Peachtree City, Ga., is recalling about 39,000 All Field and Prism RGBA light fixtures.

      The lenses on the fixture can loosen, separate from the fixture and fall, posing a risk of injury to people below.

      The firm has received three reports of lenses falling from All Field fixtures at indoor facilities in the U.S. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves All Field AF, AN, ST series and Prism RGBA PM series light fixtures with the following model numbers.

      TAP Worldwide is recalling 22 Rubicon Express 4.5" and 5.5" Super-Flex suspension lift kits, part number JT7147, sold for installation on 2020-2021 Jeep Gladiator vehicles.

      The fitment guide for the lift kits may have inaccurately stated that 40" tires are compatible with the kit; however, installation of 40" tires can affect vehicle stability in certain emergency maneuvering situations.

      Reduced vehicle stability from installing 40" tires can increase the risk of a crash during certain emergency maneuvering situations.

      Harbor Freight Tools is recalling 118,000 pairs of Pittsburg Automotive Three Ton Heavy Duty Steel Jack Stands, SKU number 56373.

      The jack stand base seam weld may fail under load, allowing the stand to drop suddenly, increasing the risk of injury to people near or under a lifted vehicle.

      What to do

      Owners should immediately discontinue use of the jack stands for safety concerns.

      Harbor Freight emailed all known customers on July 7, 2020, but has not yet provided the date that they will mail customers a notification letter.
