    Bugatti recalls Chiron, Chiron Sport and DIVO vehicles

    The electronic stability control may malfunction

    Bugatti is recalling 73 model year 2017-2020 Chiron, model year 2018-2020 Chiron Sport and model year 2020-2021 DIVO vehicles.

    After an ignition cycle, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) does not automatically default back to the full-function original mode if the Handling Mode is selected on the Drive Mode switch.

    If the Handling Mode is activated, the ESC System goes into Sport mode. After an ignition cycle, the ESC does not default to the original default mode (ESC Normal Mode). After restarting the car, the Drive Mode remains in Handling mode affecting the ESC performance, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Bugatti will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the software of the affected control units free of charge.

    A recall schedule has not yet been provided.

    Black & Decker recalls CRAFTSMAN 10-inch corded chain saws

    The chain saw can start unexpectedly

    Black & Decker (U.S.) of Towson, Md., is recalling about 82,000 CRAFTSMAN CMECSP610 10-inch corded chain saws with extension poles.

    The chain saw can start unexpectedly without operation of the switch when the extension cord adaptor is connected upside down, posing a laceration hazard.

    The firm has received one report of the recalled chain saw starting without operation of the switch causing a laceration injury to a consumer.

    This recall involves CRAFTSMAN Model CMECSP610 10-inch corded chain saws with extension poles.

    The chain saws are red with black and gray accents. The name “CRAFTSMAN” is on the cutting bar and the motor end cap. The model number CMECSP610 is on the label on top of the motor.

    Only chain saws with date codes of 2019-40 through 2020-35 are included. The date code is laser etched on the underside of the handle base.

    The chain saws, manufactured in China, were sold at Lowe’s and other hardware stores nationwide, and online at www.amazon.com from October 2019, through August 2020, for about $100.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chain saws and contact CRAFTSMAN for a free repair kit.

    Triple E recalls Serenity and Unity motorhomes

    The wire harness may chafe, causing tail light failure

    Triple E Recreational Vehicles is recalling 1,149 model year 2018-2020 Serenity S24CB, 2018-2021 Unity U24MB, U24FX, and model year 2020-2021 Unity U24RL motorhomes.

    When the vehicle is driven with the fresh water tank partially filled, the tank bracket can shift side to side, resulting in the chassis wire harness getting chafed, resulting in a loss of tail lights.

    Loss of tail light illumination could reduce the vehicle's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Triple E will notify owners, and dealers will install an additional bracket to resolve the issue free of charge.

    The recall was expected to begin December 7, 2020.

      L G Sourcing recalls electric fireplaces

      Wiring connectors in the fireplace can overheat

      L G Sourcing of Mooresville, N.C., is recalling about 48,000 allen + roth 62-inch electric fireplaces.

      Wiring connectors in the fireplace can overheat, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received 28 reports of overheating, fire, or smoke. Several of these incidents reportedly caused smoke damage to the surrounding area and in one instance smoke inhalation.

      This recall involves allen + roth brand 62-inch wide, 5,120-BTU infrared quartz electric fireplaces, Lowe’s Item Number 466656.

      The electric fireplaces are housed in a cherry wood-colored cabinet and have a thermostat and remote control. An insert inside the cabinet simulates a wood-burning fire and provides heat.

      “FEBO Flame Electric Fireplace Model Number ZHS-30-A” is printed on a white label on the back of the product.

      The fireplaces, manufactured in China, were sold exclusively at Lowe’s stores nationwide and Lowes.com from January 2013, through April 2018, for about $700.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled electric fireplaces and contact L G Sourcing to receive a free repair kit and to schedule a free in-home repair.

      The wheel/spindle assembly may break away from the axle tube

      Jayco is recalling certain model year 2020-2021 Fifth Wheel Northpoint 387RDFS(LZ) recreational trailers.

      The welds on the axle spindle may fail, causing the wheel/spindle assembly to break away from the axle tube.

      If the wheel/spindle assembly separates from the axle tube, it can increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      The remedy for this recall is still under development.

      The recall is expected to begin December 28, 2020.

      No related illnesses or incidents have been reported to date.

      The following products, sold to retail customers in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas, Utah and Wyoming, are being recalled:

      Isuzu NPR-HD Gas and Chevrolet 4500 (Crew Cab) trucks recalled

      The positive battery cable may be too close to the right-side exhaust pipe

      Isuzu Technical Center of America is recalling 46 model year 2020 Isuzu NPR-HD Gas and Chevrolet 4500 (Crew Cab) trucks with 6.6L gasoline engines.

      The positive cable connecting the battery to the starter may be too long, and may have been routed too close to the right-side exhaust pipe.

      Over time, heat from the exhaust pipe may cause the conduit and insulation to deteriorate, exposing the wires, possibly causing a short circuit which could result in a no-start condition or a fire.

      What to do

      Isuzu will notify owners, and dealers will draw the cable slack away from the exhaust pipe free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin December 28, 2020.

      Fiskars Brands recalls 16-foot pole saw/pruners

      The saw blade and pruner head can drop, posing a laceration hazard

      Fiskars Brands of Middleton, Wis., is recalling about 469,000 Fiskars 16-foot extendable pole saw/pruners sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The telescoping poles of the pole saw/pruner can separate, causing the poles to come apart and fall down and the saw blade and pruner head to drop, posing a laceration hazard.

      The firm has received two reports of the poles separating and falling. Two laceration injuries requiring stitches have been reported.

      This recall involves Fiskars 16-foot extendable pole saw/pruners with model numbers 9463, 9440 and 9441.

      The pole saw/pruners are lawn and garden tools that extend from 7 feet to 16 feet and are used to cut high tree branches with either their pruner (for smaller branches) or their 15-inch hooked wood saw blade (for larger branches).

      The blade is secured to an oval-shaped fiberglass and aluminum telescoping pole set that locks into place through a double-locking system consisting of two orange c-clamps and a black and orange lock and pin mechanism in each of the upper and lower pole assemblies. They have an orange and black pole.

      “Fiskars” is printed on the pole. The model number is printed on the UPC code on the pole.

      The pole saw/pruners, manufactured in Taiwan and China, were sold at home improvement and hardware stores nationwide and online at fiskars.com from December 2016, through September 2020, for about $100 (Model No. 9463) and $65 (Model Nos. 9440 and 9441).

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pole saw/pruners and contact Fiskars Brands to receive instructions on how to destroy and dispose of the product in exchange for a full refund.

      The primary gear of the bed lift motor may fail, allowing the bed frame to drop.

      MPM Medical is recalling one lot of Regenecare HA Hydrogel.

      The OTC product, used topically for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with minor burns, sunburn, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites or minor skin irritations, is contaminated with the bacteria Burkholderia cepecia.

      There are no reports of adverse events.

      The recalled product, which is packaged in 3-oz. plastic tubes and is distributed in boxes of 12 with NDC # 66977-107-03 and the lot number 41262 with date 2021-01 debossed on the tube crimp was distributed to wholesalers and healthcare facilities nationwide.

      What to do

      Adco Trading of Missouri City, Texas, is recalling about 142,740 Sure Scents 2-1 Peaceful Stream/Moonlit Waves Candles.

      The candles’ high flames can ignite the surface of the wax or cause the glass to break, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received two reports that flame height reached above the glass, causing the glass to break. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the Sure Scents 2-1 Peaceful Stream/Moonlit Waves Candle. The candle is approximately 2½ inches tall with the powder blue color wax encased in a glass votive.

      The candles, manufactured in the U.S., were sold exclusively at Dollar Tree stores nationwide from July 2020, through September 2020, for $1.
