    Forest River recalls Cherokee recreational trailers

    The shore cord inlet wiring insulation may cause a fire

    Forest River is recalling 9,261 model year 2019-2021 Cherokee recreational trailers.

    The shore cord inlet wiring insulation may not have been sufficiently stripped back, causing a poor connection with the set screw.

    A poor electrical connection can increase the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will remove the inlet, and rewire or replace the inlet completely -- if necessary -- free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin December 2, 2020.

    Homestead Creamery recalls glass-bottled products

    The bottle may have a strong sanitizer odor

    Homestead Creamery of Wirtz, Va., is recalling various glass-bottled products.

    The bottles may have a strong sanitizer odor which may affect the taste and quality of the product. There is no known health risk associated with the issue at this time.

    No serious illnesses have been reported to date.

    The best by date of the bottle is located on the side of the bottle cap.

    Shipments of the products in returnable glass bottles were started on October 15, 2020, in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York through retail stores, direct delivery and wholesale distributors.

    Eggnog and custard round, non-returnable glass bottles with the best by date of November 15 were shipped to Fresh Market stores in Alabama, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia starting on October 14th, 2020.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled products should return the bottles to the place of purchase for a full refund.

    Bombardier recalls Can-Am Ryker motorcycles

    The front wheels may detach

    Bombardier Recreational Products is recalling 6,866 model year 2020 Can-Am Ryker motorcycles.

    The front wheels may have been improperly installed, possibly resulting in their separation from the motorcycle, posing a crash risk

    What to do

    Bombardier will notify owners, and dealers will check the tightness of the front wheel and reinstall the red locking clip.

    The recall was expected to begin November 2, 2020.

      Gorilla Commerce recalls oven liners

      An ill-fitting liner poses a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning

      Gorilla Commerce of Westport, Conn., is recalling about 1,600 heavy duty oven liners.

      If the oven liner is not cut or configured for the exact specifications of the oven and it is placed over any vents or other openings in the oven, carbon monoxide can build up, posing a risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.

      The firm has received one report of a consumer’s carbon monoxide alarm going off when using an oven with the recalled oven liner. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Gorilla Commerce heavy duty black fiberglass liners sold in a set of three. Extra Thick and Gorilla Grip with a gorilla logo is printed on the packaging.

      The liners, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com and GorillaGrip.com from June 2020, through August 2020, for between $8 and $12.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled oven liners. The company has notified all known purchasers. Consumers who have not received their refund should contact Gorilla Commerce.

      A gas leak may occur in the cooking stove

      REV Recreation Group is recalling 1,567 model year 2020-2021 Fleetwood Flair, Bounder, Southwind and Fortis and Holiday Rambler Vacationer, Invicta, and Admiral motorhomes with a Dometic propane gas stove, model R1731 or R2131 manufactured November 2018 or later or model S31 manufactured November 2018 or later.

      In certain stove serial number ranges, a gas leak may occur in the cooking stove, posing the risk of a fire..

      What to do

      REV will notify owners, and Dometic dealers will repair the affected stoves free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin December 4, 2020.

      Aston Martin The Americas is recalling 21 model year 2017 DB11s, model year 2019 DB11 V8 Volantes & DBS Superleggeras, model year 2019-2020 Vantages, and 2020 Superleggera Volantes.

      The front seat air bag fasteners may not have been tightened correctly.

      Loose fasteners can cause improper airbag deployment, increasing the risk of injury.

      The recall is expected to begin November 5, 2020.

      Whole Foods Market is recalling prepared macaroni & cheese from stores in five states.

      The products contain egg, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No allergic reactions have been reported to date.

      A list of the recalled products were sold at stores in Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, D.C., may be found here.

      The recalled products were sold in plastic containers and in family-style meal kits with Whole Foods Market scale labels in the prepared foods department -- available both hot and refrigerated.

      The products were also available from the chef’s case counter and from Whole Foods Market online and catering menus.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should bring a valid receipt into stores for a full refund.

      The shifter cable may disconnect from transmission

      Prime-Time Specialty Vehicles is recalling 20 model year 2014-2019 Paratransit vehicles with 3.6L engines.

      The transmission shifter cable may separate and disconnect from the transmission, causing the vehicle to not perform shifts intended by the driver and the gear shift lever position not matching the actual transmission gear.

      The driver may be unaware of the actual gear position and unintended vehicle movement can occur, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Prime-Time will notify owners instructing them to take their vehicles to Ram dealers for the necessary repairs free of charge.

      Mueller Austria recalls onion choppers

      Hands and fingers may slide into the blades

      Mueller Austria of Oakland, Calif., is recalling about 106,000 Mueller Austria Onion Chopper Pros.

      The product’s locking tab can detach from the rest of the unit during use, causing hands and fingers to slide into the blades.

      The firm has received 266 incidents of the tab breaking, resulting in 137 laceration injuries to the hands and fingers.

      This recall involves models of the Mueller Austria Onion Chopper Pro, model number M-700.

      The gray and green choppers come with two stainless steel discs, 4-cup clear container and cleaning brush.

      Only onion choppers that have a locking tab that can be pushed towards the blades in order to properly lock into place are included in this recall.

      The Mueller Austria logo is printed on the side of the chopper.

      The model number is located on the product itself or on the chopper’s packaging.

      The choppers, manufactured in Hong Kong, were sold online at Amazon.com from September 2016, through July 2020, for about $20.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled onion choppers and contact Mueller Austria for a free replacement model with a newly-designed locking tab.
