    Winnebago recalls model year 2012-2021 Era 170X vehicles

    The shoulder belt weld nut may be installed incorrectly

    Winnebago Industries is recalling 1,806 model year 2012-2021 Era 170X vehicles.

    The weld nut was installed on the wrong side of the bracket where the shoulder belt attaches, reducing the retention strength of the seat belt.

    The shoulder belt upper anchorage may not provide adequate protection to the passenger in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    What to do

    Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will coordinate the inspection of affected units and the installation of a serrated flange nut in the intended weld nut location free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin December 21, 2020.

    Stuffed Foods of Wilmington, Mass., is recalling approximately 1,818 pounds frozen Mac & Cheese Bites.

    The product contains soy, an allergen not declared on the label; the package may actually contain frozen Buffalo Style Chicken Poppers.

    There have are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions to date.

    The following item, which comes in a 9.75-oz. carton containing a plastic bag with 12 pieces of “Mac & Cheese Bites” and lot code 20272 or package code BEST IF USED BY: MAR 22 2022 on the end panel of the carton, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.

      Keystone recalls model year 2020-2021 Cougar trailers

      The inverter may be wired incorrectly

      Keystone RV Company is recalling 1,278 model year 2020-2021 Cougar trailers with the Off the Grid (OTG) Solar package.

      The inverter may have been incorrectly wired, causing power to energize the shore power connection, when in use.

      If the inverter is turned on, and energizes the shore power connection, it can increase the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will test the function of the inverter and rewire it -- as needed -- free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin December 18, 2020.

      Land Rover is recalling 3,084 model year 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque MHEV vehicles.

      The 48-volt electrical system may experience an overload, causing a failure of the Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) and result in a DCDC converter electrical short-circuit.

      An electrical short-circuit poses the risk of a fire.

      Kawasaki Motors recalls Ninja H2 SX, H2 SXSE and H2 SXSE+ motorcycles

      Gear misengagement may cause transmission damage

      Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) is recalling 799 model year 2018-2020 Ninja H2 SX, Ninja H2 SXSE, and Ninja H2 SXSE+ motorcycles.

      In the event of a missed shift, the engine electronic control unit (ECU) programming cannot control a sudden increase in engine RPM.

      If the gears re-engage at a high RPM, damage may occur to the output gear resulting in the inability to shift gears.

      This could cause the engine to lock up, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      KMC will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the ECU software free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin November 16, 2020.

      Kohl’s recalls SONOMA Goods For Life candles

      The candle’s high flames can ignite the surface of the wax

      Kohl’s of Menominee Falls, Wis., is recalling about 512,000 SONOMA Goods For Life branded three-wick candles.

      The candle’s high flames can ignite the surface of the wax or cause the glass to break, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received 29 reports involving high flames and/or breaking glass containers with the three-wick candles, including five incidents resulting in minor burn injuries, and six incidents involving minor property damage including burn marks on furniture, carpet, and/or countertops.

      This recall involves SONOMA Goods For Life three-wick candles, in models and scents that are listed here.

      The candles, manufactured in China, were sold at Kohl’s stores nationwide and online at www.Kohls.com from December 2019, through October 2020, for about $20.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled candles and return them to the nearest Kohl’s store. Consumers with a receipt will receive a full refund and consumers without a receipt will receive a store credit.

      Shyft Group recalls model year 2021 Utilimaster Aeromasters

      The body mount bracket may rub the brake line

      Shyft Group is recalling 323 model year 2021 Utilimaster Aeromasters built on a Ford E-450 chassis.

      The body mount bracket may chafe the brake lines, eventually rubbing through the brake lines.

      If the bracket rubs through the brake lines, braking ability may be negatively affected, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Shyft Group has notified owners, and dealers will inspect the brake line and body mount brackets for adequate clearance.

      Depending on the revision level of the body mount bracket installed on the vehicle, a new bracket may need to be installed free of charge. Any damaged brake lines would be replaced.

      The recall began October 16, 2020.

      YETI recalls Rambler travel mugs

      The magnet slider on the lid can eject and hot contents can spill out

      YETI Coolers of Austin, Texas, is recalling about 241,500 Rambler 20 oz. Travel Mugs with Stronghold Lids.

      The magnet slider on the lid can eject and hot contents can spill out, posing injury and burn hazards.

      The firm has received two reports of the magnetic slider on the mug being ejected after being sealed with hot liquid. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the Rambler 20 oz. Travel Mug with Stronghold Lid sold in a variety of colors. The recall only involves travel mugs with the date code 34204010. The date code is located on the bottom of the travel mug base.

      The SKU is located on the product packaging slip for online orders, and the product receipt for in-store purchases.

      The mugs, manufactured in China, were sold at YETI stores nationwide and online at www.yeti.com during October 2020 for about $35.

      What to do

      Ring recalls Video Doorbells (2nd Generation)

      The doorbell’s battery can overheat, posing fire and burn hazards

      Ring LLC of Santa Monica, Calif., is recalling about 359,000 Ring Video Doorbells (2nd Generation) sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The doorbell’s battery can overheat when incorrect screws are used for installation, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received 85 incident reports of incorrect doorbell screws installed with 23 of those doorbells igniting, resulting in minor property damage and eight reports of minor injuries.

      This recall involves Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) model number 5UM5E5 smart doorbell cameras.

      The doorbells have a blue ring at the front and come in two colors: “satin nickel” (black and silver) and “venetian bronze” (black and bronze). And were sold with a mounting bracket and a USB charging cable. The two-way audio doorbell can be hardwired or battery-powered and supports night vision.

      The Ring logo is printed on the bottom front of the doorbell and the model and S/N are on a label on the back of the doorbell and the outer packaging.

      Consumers can determine if their doorbell is included in this recall by entering the doorbell’s serial number at http://support.ring.com/ring-2nd-gen-recall. Only Ring Video Doorbell (2nd Generation) models with certain serial numbers are included.

      The doorbells, manufactured in China, were sold at electronics and home goods stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and Ring.com from June 2020, through October 2020, for approximately $100.

      The tow pole bolts may break

      The Toro Company is recalling 605 model year 2017-2019 model 22618 Log Splitters and model year 2017-2020 model 22618HD Log Splitters.

      The tow pole mounting plates could bend after the log splitter is towed off curbs, over railroad tracks or into potholes, causing the tow pole bolts to break.

      If the tow pole bolts break, the log splitter could tip over or detach, increasing the risk of a crash.

      Toro will notify owners, and dealers will upgrade the attachment plate and add additional reinforcement bolts free of charge.

      Shyft Group is recalling 80 model year 2020 Utilimaster Walk-In vans.

      If depressed to the floor of the vehicle, the throttle pedal may get trapped in the open position by the tread plate installed on the floor at the driver's pedestal.

      A throttle pedal stuck in the open position could increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Shyft Group will notify owners, and dealers will inspect for appropriate clearance between the throttle pedal and the tread plate.

      The cable assemblies on the treestand can separate due to corrosion,

      Alliance Outdoor Products of Lakeville, Minn., is recalling about 3.400 climbing treestands.

      The cable assemblies on the treestand can separate due to corrosion, posing a fall hazard to the user.

      The firm has received five reports of the treestand’s cable separating, resulting in two injuries involving fractures.

      This recall involves 2017 model year X-Stand Climbing Treestand Silent Adrenaline XSCT334 and Apache XSCT355. The model is identified on the box and in the instruction manual.

      The treestands are made from lightweight aluminum, have a black nylon netting seat and padded arm rests and seat bar and a weight capacity of 300 pounds.

      Treestands with a batch number located on the metal plate riveted to the stand that ends in “17” are included in the recall.

      The toggle on the boot can detach from the elastic lace

      Target Corp., of Minneapolis, Minn., is recalling 122,500 pair of Cat & Jack “Himani” and “Jaren” Toddler Boots.

      The toggle on the boot can detach from the elastic lace, posing a choking hazard to children.

      The firm has received five reports of the elastic laces breaking and one report of both the elastic laces and toggle breaking. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall includes the Cat & Jack “Himani” and “Jaren” toddlers’ boots in sizes 5 – 12 with an elastic lace with a toggle at the top that can be tightened to keep out snow.

      The “Himani” boots were sold in navy and pink and the “Jaren” boots were sold in olive, black with multi-colored polka dots, pink with multi-colored polka dots, and navy with rainbows.

      The product’s item number, which can be found here, is printed inside the boot shaft.

      The boots, manufactured in China, were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at Target.com and Google Express from September 2019, through February 2020, for about $30.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled boots away from children and return them to any Target Store for a full refund. If consumers purchased the boots on Target.com, they may contact Target to receive a prepaid return label to return the boots.

      The fresh air intake sleeve for the furnace is too short and does not have proper connection of the furnace to the exterior, allowing furnace exhaust to enter the trailer.

      Exhaust entering the trailer can cause carbon monoxide poisoning, which can pose a risk of injury or death.

      The drawer chests are unstable if not anchored to the wall

      Walker Edison Furniture Company of Salt Lake City, Utah, is recalling about 25,000 drawer chests sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The drawer chests are unstable if they are not anchored to the wall, posing serious tip-over and entrapment hazards that may result in death or injuries to children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves two of Walker Edison’s drawer chests that are made of wood and either painted white, painted gray, painted with wood stain, or covered in a wood imitation laminate.

      The chests have drawers that can be removed and are elevated approximately five inches off the ground with wooden legs.

      The drawer chests are not marked; however, the following model numbers are marked on the boxes: BR3DMILDRDW (840035320847) and BR3DMILDRSG (840035320854).

      Spencer 4-Drawer Chests are marked with the following model numbers: BR4DDRCA (842158142443), BR4DDRWH (842158142436), and BR4DDRWT (842158142450).

      The chests, manufactured in China and Brazil, were sold online at bestbuy.com, pier1.com, amazon.com, target.com, and other online retailers from August 2018, through March 2020, for between about $200 and $300.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled chests and contact Walker Edison for instructions to dispose of the product and obtain a full refund or free replacement.

      Nostrum Laboratories is recalling two lots of Metformin HCl Extended Release Tablets.

      The product, used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults and pediatric patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, showed test results for N-Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) levels in excess of the Acceptable Daily Intake Limit (ADI).

      NDMA is classified as a probable human carcinogen (a substance that could cause cancer)

      There have been no reports of adverse events.

      Lot numbers MET100201 and MET100401 of the 500 mg tablets with an expiration date of May 2022. were distributed to wholesalers throughout the U.S.

      What to do

      Patients using the medication should consult a healthcare professional to obtain a replacement or a different treatment option.
