    Model year 2017-2021 Autocar Xpert vehicles recalled

    The Automatic Traction Control may malfunction

    Autocar is recalling 75 model year 2017-2021 Xpert vehicles with Wabco Automatic Traction Control (ATC) electronic control units (ECU).

    The ATC ECUs may not be programmed correctly and may malfunction without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Autocar will notify owners, and dealers will reprogram the ATC ECU, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin July 7, 2020.

    MasterPharm recalls Finasteride Plus capsules

    The product contains excessive levels of minoxidil

    MasterPharm is recalling one lot of Finasteride Plus capsules.

    The contains undeclared minoxidil, an antihypertensive drug, at levels greater than those found in FDA approved products.

    Consumption of undeclared minoxidil could result in low blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, and salt and water retention causing swelling.

    The firm has received 33 reports of increased heart rate, retention of water, dizziness and low blood pressure.

    The recalled product, used to treat hair loss, is packaged in orange prescription bottles containing 30 capsules or blue prescription bottles containing 90 capsules.

    The affected lot includes the following 02-27-2020:04@11 and a Beyond Use Date of August 25, 2020, and was sold nationwide on a patient-specific prescription basis only.

    What to do

    MasterPharm is notifying its customers by phone, e-mail, and common carrier letters, and is arranging for return and replacement of all recalled products.

    Patients should stop using and return the product to MasterPharm in self-addressed packaging that has been sent to all customers.

      The products did not undergo federal inspection

      Ideal Foods of North Las Vegas, Nevada, is recalling approximately 3,302 pounds of meat and poultry flatbread pizzas.

      The products were produced, packed and distributed without undergoing federal inspection.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The recalled items containing meat and poultry, produced from October 2019, to April 2020, are being recalled:

      • 13.5-oz. plastic-wrapped cardboard trays containing “culinevo Artisan Style Flatbread Pizza CARNE ASADA”.
      • 13-oz. plastic-wrapped cardboard trays containing “culinevo Artisan Style Flatbread Pizza CHICKEN SPINACH ARTICHOKE”.
      • 16.5-oz. plastic-wrapped cardboard trays containing “culinevo Artisan Style Flatbread Pizza SIZZLIN JALAPEÑO”.
      • 14.5-oz. plastic-wrapped cardboard trays containing “culinevo Artisan Style Flatbread Pizza MEAT LOVERS”.

      The recalled products, bearing establishment number “EST. 45351A” or “P-45351A” inside the USDA mark of inspection, were shipped to a distributor and retail locations in California.

      Lettering on the rear emergency exit window label may be too small

      Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) is recalling 7,979 model year 2010-2020 Thomas Built Buses Saf-T-Liner HDX school buses.

      The lettering on the instruction label for the rear emergency exit window may be too small.

      Small lettering may be difficult for occupants to read, delaying the reaction time to open the exit, increasing the risk of injury.

      What to do

      DTNA will notify owners and send a new label by first class mail to attach to the exit window.

      This recall is expected to begin July 3, 2020.

      United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is recalling a limited quantity of Wild Harvest Organic Basil.

      The product may be contaminated with Cyclospora cayetanensis, a microscopic parasite that can cause an intestinal illness.

      No illnesses, including allergic reactions are reported to date.

      The recall involves Wild Harvest Organic Fresh Basil products packaged in .25-oz, .75-oz, 2-oz, and 4-oz plastic clam shell containers with UPCs: 0071153550450, 0071153550322, 0071153550762, 0071153550323).

      The recalled product has a white sticker with black ink on the back of the container stating: “Product of Colombia” and “112.”

      It was sold at grocery stores in Minnesota from April 18 – May 8, 2020.

      Electrical issue prompts recall of various Hino trucks

      The battery ground cable may be too short

      Hino Motors Sales U.S.A. is recalling 13,700 model year 2020-2021 NV8J, NJ8J, NE8J, NJ8A, NV8A, NE8A, NE8G, NJ8C, NE8C and NV8G trucks.

      The ground cable that connects the negative battery terminal to the frame may be too short and may break as a result.

      If the ground cable breaks, the engine cannot be re-started to move the vehicle to a safe area, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Hino will notify owners, and dealers will install an extension bracket to the negative battery terminal and inspect the ground cable terminal for damage -- replacing the cable if damage is found -- free of charge.

      Owners will be notified of the safety risk with an interim letter Mid-June 2020. A second letter will be sent once the remedy is available.

      Harbor Freight recalls Pittsburgh automotive jack stands

      The stand may collapse under load

      Harbor Freight Tools is recalling more than 1.2 million Pittsburgh Automotive 3 Ton Heavy Duty Steel Jack Stands, part numbers 56371 and 61196.

      The ratchet teeth on the jack stand lifting extension post may not engage the pawl to a sufficient depth, possibly causing the stand to fail under load.

      This could pose a risk of injury to people near or under a lifted vehicle

      What to do

      Owners should immediately discontinue use of the jack stands for safety concerns.

      Harbor Freight will notify owners, and stores will provide, in exchange for return of the jack stands, a gift card equal to the shelf price of the jack stands.

      The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      Continuum recalls Lenox 2.5 quart tea kettles

      The tea kettles can expel hot water during use

      Continuum Sales & Marketing of Port Washington, N.Y., is recalling about 1,920 Lenox 2.5 quart tea kettles sold in Canada.

      The tea kettles can expel hot water during use, posing a burn hazard.

      There are no reports of incidents or injuries.

      This recall involves Continuum's Lenox-branded 2.5 Quart Whistling Stainless Steel Tea Kettle with a three layered bottom.

      The tea kettles were sold in a variety of colors, including blue, red, silver, and gold.

      They have a stainless steel flat bottom that measures approximately 7" in diameter and a bent edge that extends approximately 1" beyond the flat portion of the bottom.

      The brand name “Lenox” is written on the sides and the bottom of the kettle.

      The tea kettles, manufactured in China, were sold at HomeSense, Marshalls, and Winners in Canada from August 2017, to December 2018.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tea kettles and contact Continuum for a full refund if proof of purchase is available. If not, consumers will be entitled to a refund of $29.99.

      Noah Clothing recalls men’s reverse fleece hoodies

      The hoodies fail to meet the federal flammability standards

      Noah Clothing of New York is recalling about 1,600 Noah reverse fleece hoodies sold in the U.S., and Canada.

      The hoodie fails to meet the federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, posing a risk of burn injuries.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Noah Clothing-branded men’s 100% cotton brushed reverse fleece, long sleeve, hooded sweatshirts.

      The hoodies were sold in black, Kelly green, bright red and light blue colors and in men’s sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. They have a drawstring around the collar of the neck, color contrasting stitching and “NOAH” embroidered on the front pocket.

      The reverse fleece hoodie is sewn so that the fleece typically seen on the inside of the hoodie is shown on the outside (reverse) everywhere but the pocket and hood.

      The sewn-in label at the neck states "NOAH" with a red cross underneath. The sewn-in care label has additional information that states “RN 150322.”

      The popcorn’s paper bag can catch fire in the microwave, posing fire and burn hazards.

      The firm has received five reports of the popcorn brown paper bags catching fire in the microwave. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

      This recall involves Poppin’ Cobs 10 pack of microwave popcorn on the cob.

      The popcorn is packaged in a brown box with a black top with 10 Poppin' Cobs individually wrapped and 10 brown bags for popping.

      “Poppin’ Cobs” is printed on the front of the box.

      Only boxes with date codes 042121 on the back of the box are included in the recall.

      The popcorn, manufactured in the U.S., was sold at Uncommon Goods stores in Brooklyn, N.Y. from September 2019, through January 2020, for about $18
