    Keystone recalls model year 2018 Crossroads Sunset trailers

    The vehicle has tires that are incorrect for its weight

    Keystone RV Company is  recalling 882 model year 2018 Crossroads Sunset trailers.

    The trailers may have Sterling Sport tires that are rated for 1760 lbs. instead of tires that are rated for 2040 lbs. as intended.

    The incorrect tires may be overloaded, possibly resulting in tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires with the correct load rated tires, free of charge.

    The recall is expected to begin March 30, 2018.

    Model year 2017-2018 Georgetown RVs recalled

    Brake fluid may leak or air may be ingested during braking

    Forest River is recalling 52 model year 2017-2018 Georgetown recreational vehicles, models GTA31L5, GTA31R5, GTA369XLF, GTA36B5, GTA36B5F, GTA377XLF, GTA378XLF, built on Ford chassis and equipped with Antilock Brake Systems (ABS).

    The brake Hydraulic Electronic Control Units (HECU) on these vehicles may be missing valve block ball plugs, potentially causing a brake fluid leak or air ingestion during electronic brake distribution and/or ABS activation.

    A brake fluid leak or air ingestion can lengthen the distance needed to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Forest River will notify owners, and Ford or Lincoln dealers will inspect the HECU for missing valve block ball plugs, replacing the unit as necessary, free of charge.

    The recall began on January 26, 2018.

      here have been no reports of allergic reactions related to the consumption of this product.

      The product is safe for consumption by those who do not have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk.

      The recalled product was sold in all Weis Markets’ stores.

      ISO Beauty recalls hair dryers

      The cord can become brittle near the base of the dryer

      ISO Beauty of Chatsworth, Calif., is recalling about 74,000 Ionic Pro hair dryers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The cord can become brittle near the base of the dryer, posing burn hazards.

      The firm has received 35 reports of the dryers sparking or smoking, including two reports of flames coming from the dryers and three reported burn injuries to hands or fingers.

      This recall involves the Ionic Pro 2000 and 2000W hand-held hair dryers sold under the ISO Beauty and Proliss brand names.

      The bottom rear of the dryers has “ISO” or “Proliss” printed and model number HD-1820.

      The dryers were sold in the following colors: black, white, white pearl, peacock, white zebra, pink leopard, blue, and giraffe.

      The dryers, manufactured in China, were sold at Groupon.com, Target.com, ISObeauty.com, Proliss.com and Amazon.com from March 2013, through January 2018, for between $30 and $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hair dryers and contact ISO Beauty for instructions on removing the cord and receiving a refund in the form of a credit for a replacement product from the firm.

      Redbarn Pet Products of Long Beach, Calif., is recalling its 7-inch Bully Stick three pack of dog chews.

      The product may be contaminated with Salmonella.

      No illnesses, injuries or complaints have been reported.

      The recalled product, which comes in a 2.4-oz., green plastic bag marked with an expiration date of 112120ABC stamped on the side, and the UPC #7 85184 25105 8 was sold in pet specialty retail stores.

      What to do

      Customers should check the lot code to see if their product was affected, discontinue use of it and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Smokehouse Pet Products of Sun Valley, Calif., is recalling dog treats labeled as Beefy Munchies.

      The product may be contaminated with Salmonella.

      No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

      The the recalled product, which comes in a 4-oz bags marked with UPC 78565857957 and lot 449294 and a best used by date of 10/25/19 stamped on the back, was shipped to sold in Washington, Michigan, North Carolina and Colorado through distributors selling to various retailers.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should discontinue its use and may return the unused portion to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Raws For Paws recalls turkey pet food

      The product may be contaminated with Salmonella

      Raws for Paws of Minneapolis, Minn., is recalling approximately 4,000 pounds of its 5-lb. and 1-lb. chubs of Ground Turkey Pet Food.

      The product may be contaminated with Salmonella.

      Two illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem.

      The recalled product is packaged into 1-pound and 5-pound sealed plastic tubes, also known as chubs.

      The chubs are packaged into regular Turkey Pet Food cases and Pet Food Combo Pack cases, which contain a variety of pet food products.

      The recalled product has case codes of 9900008, 9900009, 9900014, and 9900015.

      The manufacture date of Turkey Pet Food cases is 10/12/2017, and the manufacture dates of Combo Pack cases are between 10/12/2017 and 2/2/2018.

      The recalled product was sold throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa directly to consumers, and through online mail orders.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using it and contact Raws for Paws to determine if their product is subject to this recall, and for more information about disposal or return instructions.

      Fuel vapor or liquid fuel may leak into the engine bay

      Jaguar Land Rover North America is recalling 10,073 model year 2018 Jaguar XE, XF, E-PACE, F-PACE and F-TYPE vehicles equipped with a 2.0L gasoline engine.

      The fuel rail end caps may leak, possibly resulting in fuel vapor or liquid fuel leaking into the engine bay.

      A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel rail, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin March 23, 2018.

      Jayco recalls Eagle EA, EB, ED travel trailers

      The federal and cargo carrying capacity labels may contain incorrect information

      Jayco is recalling 461 model year 2018 Eagle EA, EB, ED travel trailers.

      The federal and cargo carrying capacity (CCC) labels on these vehicles may incorrectly list the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) as 11,750 lbs, when it is 11,700 lbs. If the GVWR is incorrect it can allow the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

      As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners and provide them with a corrected label, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 28, 2018.

      Guymon Extracts of Guymon, Okla., is recalling approximately 4,202 pounds of fully cooked pork soup.

      A processing deviation that may have allowed potential spore-forming pathogen growth including Clostridium botulinum and Clostridium perfringens.

      The following item, produced and packaged on January 3, 2018, is being recalled:

      • 2.2 lb. - 10 polybag pillows packed in paper cartons containing “Pork Soup with Rendered Pork Fat (from bone)” with lot code 010218-1, a product code of 61306 and a best before date of Dec. 22, 2019.

      The recalled product, bearing establishment number “Est. 32161” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was sent to distribution centers and were further distributed in California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Texas and Washington.

      The battery door may open, allowing the battery to fall out

      Lance Camper Manufacturing is recalling 1,164 model year 2018 travel trailers, models 1985, 1995, 2185, 2155, 2295, and 2375.

      The vehicle's battery may move within its compartment while the vehicle is in motion, causing the battery door to open and allowing the battery to fall out.

      If the battery falls out of the compartment while the trailer is being towed, it may become a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Lance will notify owners, and dealers will install a retrofit strap kit to keep the battery from moving, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin February 15, 2018.

      Lenovo recalls ThinkPad laptops

      An unfastened screw can damage the battery causing ovearheating

      Lenovo Inc., of Morrisville, N.C., is recalling about 83,500 ThinkPad X1 Carbon laptops (5th Generation) sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      An unfastened screw can damage the battery causing ovearheating, posing a fire hazard.

      There have been no reports of overheating in the U.S.

      This recall involves 14-inch ThinkPad X1 Carbon 5th Generation laptops sold in silver and black. The product name “5th Generation Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon,” the machine type 20HQ, 20HR, 20K3 or 20K4 and the serial number or S/N are printed on the bottom of the laptop.

      Laptops manufacture dates from 16/12 through 17/10 (for December 2016 through October 2017) are included in the recall. The manufacturing date codes can be found on the bottom of the laptop.

      The laptops, manufactured in China, were sold at Lenovo.com, CDW, Insight, Connection, Zones, and to other PC resellers from December 2016, through November 2017, for between $1,100 and $2,600.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately visit https://support.lenovo.com/X1C_5GEN_RECALL to see if their laptop is included in the recall and for assistance in locating the nearest authorized repair center for inspection and repair. If the laptop is included in the recall, stop using it immediately.

      Tiffany recalls crystal mugs

      Hot liquids can cause the mugs to crack or break

      Tiffany and Company of New York, N.Y., is recalling about 3,300 Wheat Leaf crystal mugs.

      The mugs can crack or break when used with or exposed to hot liquids, posing burn and laceration hazards.

      The firm has received six reports of the mug breaking when hot liquid was poured into it. No injuries have been reported.

      The recall involves 11-oz. Wheat Leaf crystal glass mugs that measure about 3.5 inches tall and 3 inches in diameter, with a handle. They are clear with a wheat leaf pattern etched into the glass.

      The mugs have a blue sticker stating “TIFFANY & CO. Made in Slovenia. CRYSTAL GLASS.” “TIFFANY & CO. 13559” appears on the bottom of the mugs.

      The mugs, manufactured in Slovenia, were sold at Tiffany & Co. stores, online at www.tiffany.com, in the Tiffany & Co. 2017 Home and Accessories catalog and through the “Tiffany For Business” sales channel in the U.S. from October 2017, through December 2017, for about $60.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mugs and contact Tiffany & Co. for a full refund plus a $100 gift card. Consumers can return the mug for a refund and gift card through one of three options:

      1. return the product to a local Tiffany & Co. store

      2. return the mug using a pre-paid return shipping label provided by the firm or

      3. contact Tiffany & Co. to dispatch a shipping carrier to the consumer’s location to pick up the mug. 

      If the mug is broken, do not attempt to return it. Carefully dispose of the glass and contact Tiffany for the refund and gift card. The company is directly contacting consumers who purchased the recalled mugs.

      Liquid propane can flow to unlit stove burners

      Jayco is recalling 26 model year 2018 Eagle travel trailers, model 333BHOK.

      The flame on the Furrion cook top can become inverted or go out when the furnace is turned on, however, liquid propane (LP) gas will continue to flow to the burners.

      LP gas flow to an unlit stove burner may result in an explosion, increasing the risk of injury.

      What to do

      Jayco will notify owners, and dealers will install two wood panels to prevent air from the furnace affecting the stove burners, free of charge.

      The recall is expected to begin March 1, 2018.
