The product may contain methanol not declared on the label

DMM VISSION, S.A. de C.V. is recalling five lots of Cleaner Hand Sanitizer.

The product may contain methanol not declared on the label which can result in nausea, vomiting, headache, blurred vision, permanent blindness, seizures, coma, permanent damage to the nervous system or death.

There are no reports of adverse effects.

A list of the products, shipped nationwide to wholesale distributors between April 27 and June 9, 2020, may be found here.

What to do

Customers who purchased the recalled product should stop using and return it to the place of purchase.
