Powur Reviews

My system was "completed" in May 2026. It's now September 28th, and it has still not been activated, so I owe FL's full monthly cost plus the Powur lease. In effect, the new system has effectively doubled my monthly electric bill from over $200 a month to over $400 a month. And my system shuts down during power outages. This is unacceptable.

Powur installed our system with a battery. Worked fine for 2 years or so. Then there was a small issue and I called for a repair. They send someone to fix it and he disconnected my entire breaker box so I could not turn the electric off at all. I ask for an full house battery backup and he sold me a second battery. Then the battery started bloating and I called for repair. Powur claimed to not know about the second battery and the replacement of the first one took 9 months.

The project started in August 2025. Powur had a subcontractor remove old solar panels to replace them with newer ones and add more solar panels to my system with the addition of Tesla battery packs. The removal of the old panels was completed in a couple of days. Contactors left supplies in my driveway for a couple of months until I complained enough for them to come pick up their left over supplies. From August till around November, nothing happened, complete silence, or I get, we are waiting on this or that. During this time, I am paying full electric bills. The installation of the additional panels and battery pack was a complete mess. Stucco damage to my exterior walls, poor anchoring of conduit to walls, touch-up paint splattered on the ground and on equipment, and trash and debris left at home. Nothing till December, and SCE goes to connect the meter adapter to my electrical panel. NOGO, after all this hassle the socket meter is not compatible.

This has been the worst consumer experience of my life. I'm going to go into more details, but I want to bullet point the bad for those who won't read. They literally looted my house, stole tens of thousands from my basement from install, told me that my daughter said it was ok. (I DON'T HAVE A DAUGHTER), but the system also never worked. NEVER. 9 months later, there has been one service call to send a repair person who was only instructed to confirm it wasn't working. That was in September 2025 and it is now February 2026. Not only does it not work, but because it was installed improperly, my electric bill went up, 3,100%. That is a fact. They will not respond. Customer service is non existent.

We have not had a great experience with Powur, the system had never completely worked and we have had to have repair several times a year. Now they want $350. to come out and again repair a system that never fully works.

Sales rep is great at hounding a senior citizen to sign up for solar, put the panels and creating the loan. But after that don't expect any support when the battery backup system isn't working to generate any power, and we are having to continue to pay the local electric company in addition to the loan for the solar panels.

YOUR SALESPERSON RONALD (VENEZUELAN) CAME TO MY MOM'S RESIDENCE AT: **, Arcola, TX 77583, he lied to my 82-year-old Mother and told her that she did not have to pay for panels. My Mom has suffered lung issues due to the installation of the panels. I have tried since 2023 to retrieve the agreement and to no avail. The agreement was in Spanish and she requested in English. I have sent several emails and no response for a settlement of either getting the panels out of her garage or picking up the equipment. I would like to speak to Jonathan ** the owner of the company, or I will further take this to an attorney. My contact number is ** or email: **.

OMG, I want the rep's all these 5 star people had! The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because they actually eventually installed my system and I eventually got it turned on.... 6 1/2 months later! There was HORRIBLE communication, and that was only thru email. Absolutely impossible to talk on the phone, not even once. They kept making the same mistakes over and over. The only reason I got anything done was because I got ahold of the phone number of the installers they used. And I would talk with them and they would communicate with Powur. The work I had to do with them, the installers and the power company should have entitled me to a paycheck! I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemies....then again....
