We worked with Joshua during the sign up and he was wonderful. That part was wonderful. Freedom set up the installation schedule and we cut our holiday short to make it back because Freedom said the homeowner had to be there. We were there. When the crew came out, they told us, "I'm so sorry. We can't do it." I said, "What what's going on?" They said, "Well, it was never set up to have the SECO disconnect you. And the reason it was never set up is 'cause the guy dropped the ball and forgot to get the permits." So I told them to get Freedom on the phone. They did that and they finally got that guy. He said, "I dropped the ball." I was pissed because we cut our vacation short. I said I'm done. So then they said, "Well, can we install half of it?" I said, "Don't install a damn thing."

I canceled it and they came back. The district president ended up calling and apologizing. I told him, "The only way you can make it right is if you take $15,000 off and I have it within a week. and I better not have an issue." They did and installed it. The installation guys were phenomenal. I told Freedom that I don't want that other guy anywhere near my account. After that, it was fine. Freedom Solar worked really hard to make it right, and they did. They didn't try to upsell me. I liked the product. Joshua explained it to me. He was really good. At the end after everything was installed, they came and I got on the phone for half an hour, and he explained how to do everything and what to do next, and how to run my Tesla battery and how to sign up with SECO.

Freedom Solar is installing right now, and the crew on site is good. They showed up on time. They keep me in the loop about what they’re doing and what kind of timeframes. The only thing was that there were just way too many different people reaching out to me, which was confusing. And I never really had a single source of contact throughout the whole process of getting it set up. I’ll get texts from different people. But also, anything that was not right, their team bent over backwards to take care of everything.

As an example of what happened, when the salesperson came out to meet with us and talk about the proposal plan, there was an incentive for us to get our air ducts sealed up, which sounds good. But at the time, when the air duct people came out to do the work, they asked me if I wanted either the upstairs or downstairs unit done. And it was not communicated to me at the time of the proposal that I would only choose one. And so, I called Freedom, and they said it was their fault. So, they took care of it, and they just got the work done.

I chose Freedom Solar because it was referred by one of their clients that I know and trust. So, that was where I kind of got in the loop with it, and that was what got me to talk to their salespeople about the process. But when I started taking a look at it, we had another issue. Because when we were talking about what size system I needed, I gave their salesperson all the data he needed to come up with a plan.

He came back a few weeks later and said we gotta add six more solar panels because we’re not at the percentage we need to be at. And it’s gonna cost us much more money. And I told him that we can back out on this if they mess it up because I already gave him all the information he needed. But Freedom ended up honoring what needed to be done at the price that they quoted me. So, they installed six more panels at the price that they quoted me."

I had a good experience with Freedom Solar and didn't have any problems. From the bottom to the top, all the people that came out were nice and polite. They explained everything from beginning to end, and if I went out and asked any of the guys what they were doing, they explained it to me. I even asked the guy that came out with the drone, and he showed me how it worked. I’m 71, so they really had to explain things because I don’t know anything about any of it. Even if they explained until the cows come home, I wouldn’t get some of the ins and outs, but what I didn’t understand, my daughter does. She sat in on a lot of it and talked to the salesman when he came to the house, so she really knew more about it than I did.

I’m just surprised that more people don’t know about solar. In my neighborhood, our electric bill is $400. I have a brand-new air conditioner, but my electric bill is the same as it was last year, it didn’t go down at all. My old air conditioner was at least 30 years old, and you would expect the bill to go down a little, but it did not. So, that $400 electric bill was a big selling point for me.

I was looking for a solar installation on my new house. So, I did some online research and Freedom Solar was one of the options. I reached out through their website and got in touch with the salesperson. They came up and we had a meeting at my house. He reviewed everything.

The inspections and everything have gone really well. I'm really satisfied with the whole team and how they worked with me. But still, we have to get the actual installation done, which includes things like city inspections or permits and HOA permits. I was told that it would take around four months to complete. It would be around October when we'll actually install the solar panels.

They showed me clearly what my savings would be and what the best options are. We discussed multiple options as well. So, it was pretty convincing. They also try to understand my goal for this project and also what price range I want to stick to. They provided all the options, all the numbers.

I met them a couple of times, because it's a big purchase. And they made me feel comfortable with the whole process that we will be going through. And until now, it has been really great. And I hope it continues until the installation as well. So, the team has been really good. I’ve been really happy with them. I’ll definitely recommend them.

From start to finish, the interaction with representatives, especially the salesperson Mike, was commendable. The entire process, from the initial call to the home visit and evaluation, was handled with professionalism. Mike's approach was detailed and informative as he assessed our prior electricity usage from our CPS bills to determine the right number of solar panels. I ended up installing 22 panels, producing anywhere between low 50s to 20s in kilowatts, depending on the weather conditions.

The Freedom Solar app allows me to track the system's performance efficiently, although the breakdown provided by my energy provider could be improved. The app keeps me informed of the energy exported back to the grid, providing a daily overview.

I wholeheartedly recommend Freedom Solar Power to anyone considering solar energy. Their professionalism and consistent communication throughout the installation and post-installation process were impressive, though the frequent follow-up calls could be dialed back.

While I usually hesitate to give perfect ratings, I would confidently rate Freedom Solar a 5 for quality customer service and overall service, though I'd give a 4 for pricing and online tools as there is room for enhancement.

Looking into solar energy made sense, and I found Freedom Power when I searched the internet. I talked to several different companies and one would think I was the only person they were dealing with because all the salespeople responded very quickly to any comments or questions I had. They were all very eager to talk to me when I was exploring the option of going with their company. That was my same experience with Freedom Power. I signed up and the installation team was fine.

I've been with Freedom Power since last November, and my experience with them has been good. We had the salesperson as our customer service representative, and when they were in the selling process, they were very responsive, but their post-installation response time is a little slow. For example, part of the deal was they would pay for any early termination fee I had with my previous electricity provider and I'm still waiting for that. I also had a question about the efficiency or how the system was working.

I sent an email to the sales representative, which has been really our only contact with this company and he said he forwarded on to their service department. That was a week ago. I sent him an email today asking when I should hear from them. He hasn't responded. Freedom Power is a little lagging on the post-installation service and I'd advise people to be aware of that. Like any company, their post-installation service is not gonna be the same as the sales process was.

My colleague attended some fair in town where they had a representative from Freedom Power. He talked to them and mentioned the company to me when we were discussing about solar energy services. I was looking for solar after I bought a new house at the time. So, I talked to Freedom Power and that whole process went through. On the technical side, they were great and the professional work they did was really good. Their reps were also able to answer my questions. As an engineer and with a background in electrical engineering, I was aware about things. But from technical side, there are things that I was not aware of and the representative made a good effort to make me understand.

But on the finance side, there were some aspects that I was not aware about or I was not informed by the representative at the time, which I come to know now. It put on a big financial burden on my part. Also, in getting everything set up, I had to go to different iterations of installing stuff and I had to do battery as well as an EV charger. After the first solar system installation, I had to do a little nagging on the people to process the things, which was a little bit of a hassle for me. I had to stay active to make sure that they are doing things at the right time.

Freedom Power Solar had good reviews with some of the bigger companies, plus they had the Tesla batteries. I liked their reliability and Freedom Power did everything when I decided to go with them. All I did was just supply them with my electric bill. I wanted to have a battery backup system as my power is constantly blinking or going out. Also, I wanted to get off the grid. The panels have been awesome. I got an app on my phone for tracking my production and it’s perfect. If I have a storm coming, it automatically starts generating 100% of the batteries. People better hurry up and get solar.
