    The LP gas line may be routed incorrectly

    Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling 731 model year 2020-2021 Omni and Magnitude motorhomes, expanding an earlier recall.

    The LP gas line may have been incorrectly routed through the rear suspension leaf springs, which could damage the line and cause a gas leak.

    A gas leak increases the risk of a fire.

    What to do

    Dealers will reroute the LP line as needed, free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 18, 2022.

    Olight Ecommerce Technology recalls flashlights

    The flashlights can be turned on inadvertently and overheat while stored

    Olight Ecommerce Technology of Somerset, N.J., is recalling about 215,100 M2R Pro and Warrior Mini flashlights.

    The flashlights can be turned on inadvertently and overheat while stored in a holster or a consumer’s pocket, posing a burn hazard.

    The firm has received 127 reports of flashlights turning on inadvertently and overheating, resulting in 22 reports of burn injuries. Three consumers reported receiving second-degree burns.

    This recall involves M2R Pro and Warrior Mini flashlights.

    The M2R Pro was sold in black, camouflage, desert tan, OD green, Patriotic Edition, gunmetal gray, orange, blue, ocean camouflage, purple, white, and antique bronze colors. The dimensions of M2R Pro are approximately 5.37 inches (L) x 1.16 inches (D).

    Warrior Mini was sold in black, desert tan, camouflage, spring 2 Ti, summer 2 Ti, autumn 2 Ti, winter 2 Ti, eternal 2 Cu, and red colors. The dimensions of Warrior Mini are approximately 4.19 inches (L) x 0.91 inches (D). Olight and M2R Pro or Warrior Mini are printed on the flashlights.

    The flashlights, manufactured in China, were sold at Olightstore.com, Amazon.com, and through small independent stores nationwide from November 2019, through November 2021, for between $48 and $120.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled flashlights and contact Olight for a full refund in the form of store credit or for a free replacement flashlight. The firm is reaching out to all known purchasers directly.

    Danby Products recalls free-standing and slide-in electric and gas ranges

    The ranges can tip over when a heavy weight is placed on an open oven door

    Danby Products of Findlay, Ohio, is recalling about 1,700 Danby brand free-standing and slide-in electric and gas ranges.

    The ranges can tip over when a heavy weight is placed on an open oven door and the anti-tip-over bracket is not secured to the wall or floor. This poses a tip-over hazard and a risk of burn injuries from hot foods or liquids in cookware.

    No incidents or injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves free-standing and slide-in electric and gas ranges sold by Danby Products Limited in white, black, and other finish colors.

    The model number is located on the oven frame or under the electric stovetop and is visible after opening the door or lifting the stovetop. Only units listed here are included in the recall.

    The gas range serial number is located on the oven frame inside the bottom drawer. The electric range serial number is located under the electric stovetop. “Danby” is printed on the stovetop.

    The ranges, manufactured in Mexico, were sold at Home Depot, ABC Appliance, and other appliance stores nationwide. They were also sold at business-to-business distributors, including Almo Distributing, Penna Inc., Home Depot Pro, and Tri State Distributors from June 2021, through November 2021, for between $560 and $740.

    What to do

    Consumers should contact Danby Appliances to determine if their unit is part of the recall and to schedule a free in-home service call to inspect the product. Experts will check the range’s anti-tip bracket and ensure it is securely installed.

    Consumers are cautioned not to place any objects on the open oven door until the range’s anti-tip bracket has been inspected and repaired, if necessary.

    Consumers should not return the recalled ranges to the place of purchase, as retailers are not prepared to take the units back. Danby is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      The products contain benzene

      HRB Brands is recalling all lot numbers of its Sure and Brut aerosol sprays.

      The products contain benzene, which is classified as a human carcinogen. There have been no reports of adverse events to date.

      A list of the recalled products may be found here.

      The products were sold throughout the U.S., except for the 154-g container of Brut Aerosol Deodorant, which was sold in Canada.

      What to do

      Consumers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them if the expiration date is on or before August 2023. Those who have products fitting that description should discard them.

      Petzl recalls PIRANA descender canyoneering devices

      The user's rope can get caught or wedged in the PIRANA blocking slot

      Petzl America of Salt Lake City, Utah, is recalling about 3,600 PIRANA descender canyoneering devices sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The user's rope can get caught or wedged in the PIRANA blocking slot and stop or suspend the climber, posing a drowning risk if the user is under a waterfall or pool.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the Petzl PIRANA descender, an aluminum adjustable friction descender device for canyoneering. The descender has three rope installation options that allow the user to select the degree of friction before initiating a descent. A friction spur allows the user to increase braking power during descent. A plastic ring keeps the connector positioned to facilitate rope installation while the device is connected to the harness.

      The descender comes in orange (D005AA00) and black (D005AA01) with serial numbers ranging between 19 F 0000000 000 and 22 A 9999999 999. The serial numbers are located on the frame of the product.

      The descenders, manufactured in France, were sold at REI, Karst Sports, Backcountry.com, www.petzl.com, and other websites and outdoor stores nationwide from July 2019, through January 2022, for about $39.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled PIRANA descender devices and contact Petzl for a full refund, including shipping. Consumers will be provided a postage-paid label to return their recalled descender.

      Morgan Foods recalls Skyline chili

      The product contains milk, wheat and soy, allergens not declared on the label

      Morgan Foods of Austin, Ind., is recalling approximately 2,205 pounds of Skyline chili.

      The product contains milk, wheat, and soy, which are allergens not declared on the label.

      Additionally, the cans labeled as chili may actually contain cream of chicken soup.

      There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following item, produced on December 21, 2021, is being recalled:

      • 10.5-oz. cans containing "Skyline CHILI ORIGINIAL CHILI" with a lot code "L2121", product code "CHC8T UPY" on the bottom of the can, and a best by date of December 21, 2023. The cans are packed in trays marked as "Skyline Original Chili" with an expiration date of December 21, 2024.

      The recalled product, bearing the establishment number "EST. 6806" inside the USDA mark of inspection, was shipped to retail locations nationwide.

      What to do

      Customers with an allergy or sensitivity who purchased the recalled products should not consume them. Instead, they should discard it or return it to the place of purchase.

      Candies Tolteca of Fresno, Calif., is recalling Saladitos (Salted Dried Plums) and Saladitos con Chile y Limon (Dried Plums with Chili & Lemon).

      The products may be contaminated with lead, but no illnesses have been reported to date.

      Both items come in 1.5-oz portions packaged in a clear cellophane bag. 

      The SALADITOS (Salted Dried Plums) appears on a Blue TOLTECA brand label and is identified with UPC Code 704927600694.

      The SALADITOS CON CHILE Y LIMON, (Dried Plums with Chili & Lemon) appear on a Green TOLTECA brand label and is identified with UPC Code 704927600700.

      The recalled products were sold in California, Nevada, and Utah at retail stores, including supermarkets, gas stations, and convenience stores.

      The string that connects the beads can come untied, releasing the beads and posing a choking hazard to young children.

      The firm has received six reports of detached beads, including one report of a child placing a bead in his mouth.

      This recall involves 12 different styles of wooden teethers:

      The resin and medium-density fiberboard (“MDF”) menorahs can burn or catch fire when holding lit candles, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received three reports in the U.S. of the menorahs burning or catching on fire when holding lit candles. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

      This recall involves resin and medium-density fiberboard (“MDF”) menorahs with inserts for nine candles. The menorahs were sold in the following shapes: llama, brontosaurus, stegosaurus, T-rex, castle, rainbow, rainbow platform, and emojis.

      The menorahs were sold with a white hangtag with an image of a blue and silver menorah and the following text: “FESTIVE LIGHTS HANUKKAH MENORAH.”

      One of the following style numbers is printed on the label on the bottom of the menorahs: 262933, 263407, 263417, 262950, 856166, 856168, 856179, 856182, 856189, 856192, 856262, 856266.

      The menorahs, manufactured in China, were sold at Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Homesense stores nationwide from November 2021, through January 2022, for between $8 and $15.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled menorahs and return them to any Marshalls, HomeGoods, or Homesense stores for their choice of either a full refund or a refund in the form of a store gift card.

      Lovevery of Boise, Idaho, is recalling about 180,000 Steel drinking cups with handles sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The handle can detach from the cup, posing a choking hazard to young children.

      The firm has received 70 reports of the handle of the drinking cup becoming partially or completely detached, including two incidents where a child had the cup handle in his mouth. No choking injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves a stainless-steel drinking cup included in Lovevery’s Inspector Play Kits for children aged seven to eight months.

      The recalled cups have a handle and measure 2.25 inches tall. Only cups with a handle are included in this recall.

      The cups, manufactured in China, were sold online at www.Lovevery.com as part of the Inspector Play Kit from July 2018, through July 2021. The Inspector Play Kit sold for about $80.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled drinking cups away from children, stop using them, and contact Lovevery for a free replacement cup.

      Consumers will receive a free replacement cup after registering on the firm’s website, uploading a photo of their defaced cup with “X Recalled X” written inside of the cup with a permanent marker, and affirming to Lovevery that the cup will be recycled according to local guidelines or discarded in the trash.

      The brushes do not have an immersion protection device, which could pose an electrocution or shock hazard to the user if it falls into water when plugged in.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves the BrushX Styler, Dryer & Volumizer, also called the BrushX One and the BrushX Gen.2 hot air brushes. The brushes were sold in black and black/pink color combinations. Recalled brushes have a “not waterproof” symbol to the left of the CE mark on the rear of the brush.

      The brushes, manufactured in China, were sold online at mybrushx.com from April 2020, through August 2021, for between $44 and $55.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled hot air brushes, destroy them by unplugging the unit and then cutting the cord, and email a photo of the destroyed product to BrushX at replacement@mybrushx.com to receive a free, upgraded replacement product.
