Kia recalls model year 2013-2014 Optimas again

The low-pressure fuel hose may leak

Kia Motors America is recalling 72,848 model year 2013-2014 Optimas repaired under a previous recall.

The low-pressure fuel hose may be damaged or missing heat-protective tape. This can result in a fuel leak that increases the risk of a fire.

What to do

Dealers will replace the low-pressure fuel hose free of charge.

Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 15, 2022.
