    Unilever recalls various dry shampoos

    The products may contain benzene, a human carcinogen

    Unilever United States is recalling dry shampoos from Dove, Nexxus, Suave, TIGI (Rockaholic and Bed Head), and TRESemmé produced prior to October 2021.

    The products may contain elevated levels of benzene, which is classified as a human carcinogen.

    Exposure to benzene can occur by inhalation, orally, and through the skin and it can result in cancers including leukemia and blood cancer of the bone marrow and blood disorders.

    The company has received no reports of adverse events to date.

    A list of the recalled products with their UPC codes, which were sold throughout the U.S., may be found here.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled products should stop using them and visit UnileverRecall.com for instructions on how to receive a refund.

    Tesla recalls more than 24,000 model year 2017-2022 Model 3s

    The vehicle's seat belt buckle and anchor may not be assembled incorrectly

    Tesla is recalling 24,064 model year 2017-2022 Model 3s.

    The second-row left seat belt buckle and second-row center seat belt anchor may have been reassembled incorrectly during vehicle service.

    This can impair the performance of the seat belt in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

    What to do

    Tesla Service will inspect and reassemble the seat belt anchors --  as necessary -- free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed by December 20, 2022.

    Children’s sleepwear recalled by Ekouaer

    The children’s bathrobes fail to meet flammability standards

    Ekouaer is recalling about 9,200 children’s bathrobes. The company says bathrobes fail to meet the flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a burn hazard.

    The garments fail to meet the flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries.

    No incidents or injuries are reported.

    This recall involves Ekouaer children’s hooded bathrobes made of 65% cotton and 35% polyester, sold in short-sleeves and long-sleeves and in sizes 110, 120, 130, 140 and 150.

    The long-sleeve bathrobes were sold in 11 colors: aqua blue, Christmas pattern, grid pattern, navy blue, pink, pink rainbow, purple, purple rainbow, rose red, red, and sky blue.

    The short-sleeve bathrobes were sold in seven colors: aqua green, navy, pink, purple, red, rose, and white.

    The bathrobes, manufactured in China, were sold online at www.amazon.com from March 2020, through July 2021, for between $19 and $38, depending on the style.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately take the recalled sleepwear away from children and contact Ekouaer for a full refund.

    Consumers who purchased the bathrobes will be asked to destroy the garments by cutting them in half and send the recalling firm a photo of the destroyed garment.

    Upon receipt of the photo, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

    Ekouaer and Amazon will contact all known purchasers.

      Sumitomo recalls Falken Pro G5 CSV tires

      The tread base rubber was not cured properly

      Sumitomo Rubber USA, LLC (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Falken Pro G5 CSV tires because of a potential serious safety issue.

      The recall includes  Falken Pro G5 CSV tires in sizes 235/65R17 104V, 235/65R18 106V, 245/50R20 102V and 265/50R20 111V.


      Because of an inadequate sulfur level in the tread base compound, the
      tread base rubber was not cured properly.


      This may lead to tread separating from the tire, causing vehicle instability,
      increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace the tires free of charge.

      The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials

      Bob Evans Farms Foods of Xenia, Ohio, is recalling approximately 7,560 pounds of Italian pork sausage.

      The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically thin blue rubber.

      There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions.

      The following raw item, produced on September 8, 2022, is being recalled:

      • 1-lb. chubs containing “Bob Evans Italian Sausage” with lot code XEN3663466 and a “USE/FRZ BY” date of 11/26/22, with a time stamp between 14:43 and 15:25.

      The recalled product, bearing establishment number “EST. 6785” inside the USDA mark of inspection, was shipped to retail locations nation-wide.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.

      VW recalls Golf R A8s and Golf GTIs

      The radiator may be attached incorrectly to intercooler

      Volkswagen Group of America is recalling 8,038 model year 2022-2023 Golf R A8s and Golf GTIs.

      The radiator may not have been attached correctly to the intercooler, which can result in a damaged coolant hose.

      A damaged coolant hose can leak, causing the engine to overheat, increasing the risk of fire.

      In addition, large amounts of coolant spilling onto the roadway can increase the risk of a crash to other vehicles.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect the radiator and replace any damaged parts -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Letters notifying owners of the issue are expected to be mailed November 18, 2022.

      Clorox recalls 37 million bottles of Pine-Sol cleaners

      The products may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa

      The Clorox Company of Oakland, Calif., is recalling about 37 million bottles of the following cleaning products produced between January 2021 and September 2022:

      • Pine-Sol Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, and Lemon Fresh scents,
      • CloroxPro Pine-Sol All Purpose Cleaners, in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, Lemon Fresh, and Orange Energy scents, and
      • Clorox Professional Pine-Sol Lemon Fresh.

      Original Pine-Sol (Pine scent) is not included in this recall.

      The recalled products may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, an environmental organism found widely in soil and water.

      People with weakened immune systems or external medical devices who are exposed to Pseudomonas aeruginosa face a risk of serious infection that may require medical treatment.

      The bacteria can enter the body if inhaled, through the eyes, or through a break in the skin.

      Those with healthy immune systems are usually not affected by the bacteria.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Pine-Sol Scented Multi-Surface Cleaners in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, and Lemon Fresh scents, CloroxPro Pine-Sol All Purpose Cleaners, in Lavender Clean, Sparkling Wave, Lemon Fresh, and Orange Energy scents, and Clorox Professional Pine-Sol Lemon Fresh Cleaners.

      The products contain date codes beginning with the prefix “A4” and followed by a five-digit number less than 22249, and are sold in bottles of 28, 48, 60, 100, 144, and 175 fluid ounces.

      The cleaning products, manufactured in Forest Park, Ga., were sold online at Amazon.com and additional retailer websites, and at Walmart, Sam’s Club, Dollar General, Target, Home Depot, BJ’s, Kroger, Dollar Tree, Lowe’s, Publix, and other major retailers nationwide, for between $2.50 and $12.50.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled products, and take pictures of the 12 digit UPC code and the date code, dispose of the product in its container with household trash.

      They should then contact Pine-Sol for a full refund of the purchase price, with receipt, or of the manufacturer’s suggested retail price, without receipt.

      Juvo Plus recalls children’s butterfly net sets and action figure playsets

      The toys contain excessive levels of certain phthalates and lead

      Juvo Plus of Monrovia, Calif., is recalling about 22,500 butterfly net sets and army action figure playsets.

      Components of the recalled toys contain levels of certain phthalates and lead that exceed the federal phthalate and lead content standards.

      Phthalates and lead are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Juvo Plus’ insect-catching butterfly net sets and Blue Panda/Soldier Force Playset army action figure playsets.

      Each butterfly net set was sold with three nets in blue, green and orange. The butterfly net has a telescoping handle that extends up to 34 inches with a rubber grip at the end that matches the color of the net. When not extended, the net measures 15 inches long. The net measures 8 inches deep. Juvale is printed on the product packaging.

      Each army action figure playset comes with 300 individual army-styled action figures, displays and set pieces including but not limited to: soldiers, tanks, planes and flags.

      The eight SWAT figures measure about 3.5 inches tall and have flexible joints. The other soldiers measure about 1.5 inches tall.

      The set comes with a plastic bag for storage and transport that has green trim, zipper closure and green handles on top.

      “Blue Panda,” “Military Playset” and “300 PCS,” or “Soldier Force Playset” and “300 PCS” are printed on a carboard sleeve located inside the plastic bag.

      The recalled toys, manufactured in China, were sold as follows:

      • The butterfly net sets were sold at Amazon.com, eBay.com, Facebook.com, Kroger.com, Overstock.com, Target.com, Walmart.com and Wish.com from September 2017, through June 2022, for about $10.
      • The action Figure playsets sold online at Amazon.com, Bluepanda.com, eBay.com, Facebook.com, Groupon.com, Kroger.com, Overstock.com, Target.com and Walmart.com from February 2018, through June 2022, for about $35.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled butterfly net sets and the action figure playsets away from children and contact Juvo Plus for a full refund of the purchase price.

      Consumers will be asked to register their butterfly net sets and submit a photo of the disposed product with the nets cut and the handles initialed and dated.

      For the action figure playsets, consumers will be asked to register their product, certify that the product will no longer be used and has been disposed of as directed, and submit a photo of the disposed product. Upon receipt of the photo and validation, consumers will be issued a full refund of the purchase price.

      The threads in the recalled woven baby blankets can come loose and detach posing choking, entrapment and strangulation hazards.

      No incidents or injuries are reported in the U.S.

      This recall involves Mittal International chenille weave baby blankets sold in cream, blush, taupe, mint, gray, lavender, ivory, ochre, pale blue, sage and terracotta colors with a “Made in India” hangtag with an elephant design.

      The blankets have fringe around the edges and measure about 32 inches by 40 inches.

      The high pressure fuel pump may fail

      Chrysler is recalling 60,413 model year 2020-2022 Jeep Wranglers, Ram 1500s, and model year 2021-2022 Jeep Gladiators equipped with 3.0L diesel engines.

      The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) may fail, causing an engine stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

      So far this year, Chrysler has recalled nearly 1.5 million vehicles.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace the HPFP, and inspect and replace additional fuel system components -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      A small white ball in the toy poses a choking hazard to infants

      Just Play of Boca Raton, Fla., is recalling about 9,300 Early Learning Centre Little Senses Lights & Sounds Shape Sorter toys.

      The red cube that is part of the toy can come apart or detach during use and release the small white ball inside the cube, posing a choking hazard to infants.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported in the U.S.

      This recall involves the Early Learning Centre Little Senses Lights and Sounds Shape Sorter toys.

      The toy has a white and gray base, holds six colored, shaped pieces with lights, and makes sounds and music. “Little Senses” is printed on the side of the base.

      The toy was marketed for children between ages 6 to 36 months of age.

      The item code for the sorter toy, 82756, is located on the base of the main unit.

      The batch code production dates, which are located on the base of the main unit, and correspond to date of manufacture, are:

      The fastener connecting the front upper control arm and steering knuckle may have been tightened improperly.

      This could cause the steering knuckle fastener to separate, resulting in a loss of vehicle control which could increase the risk of a crash.

      Dealers will inspect and -- if necessary -- tighten the steering knuckle fastener free of charge.

      The lithium-ion batteries can ignite, explode or spark, posing fire, explosion and burn hazards.

      The firm has received six reports of incidents involving fire, explosions, or sparks, including four reports of burn injuries.

      This recall involves Ancheer e-bikes with model number AM001907.

      The model number can be found on the e-bike packaging and in the instruction manual but not on the bike itself.

      A water bottle shaped cylindrical battery distinguishes model AM001907 from other models.

      The bikes are black and have 26-inch wheels. “Ancheer” is printed on the downtube.

      The e-bikes, manufactured in China, were sold online at www.aliexpress.com, www.ancheer.shop, www.amazon.com, www.ebay.com, www.newegg.com, www.overstock.com, www.rakuten.com, www.sears.com, www.walmart.com and www.wish.com from January 2016, through June 2022, for between $280 and $930.
