    The product may be contaminated with lead

    La Fiesta Food Products of La Mirada Calif., is recalling all lots of Saladitos Con Chile (Salted Plums with Chili).

    The product may be contaminated with lead, but no illnesses have been reported to date.

    The recalled product, UPC 032327028290, was sold in retail stores in California, Nevada, North Carolina, and Georgia from December 1, 2021, through January 31, 2022.

    What to do

    Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. Instead, they should discard or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

    Tesla is recalling 26,681 model year 2021-2022 Model 3, Model S, Model X, and model year 2020-2022 Model Y vehicles.

    A software error may cause a valve in the heat pump to open unintentionally and trap the refrigerant inside the evaporator, resulting in decreased defrosting performance.

    Decreased defrosting may reduce the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Positec USA recalls WORX electric pressure washers

    The sprayer hose can separate from the spray wand during use

    Positec USA of Charlotte, N.C., is recalling about 17,630 WORX band 13-amp 1900-PSI Electric Pressure Washers.

    The sprayer hose can separate from the spray wand during use, posing an impact injury hazard to the user or passersby.

    The company has received 61 reports of spray hose and wand separation, including four reports of minor injuries, including cuts and bruises.

    This recall involves the WORX brand 13 Amp 1900 PSI Electric Pressure Washer with model number WG606.

    The pressure washers are gray and orange with the WORX brand name on the front of the product and “Electric Pressure Washer” on the handle.

    Recalled products have serial number ranges from 20210200078905 to 20210200096490 and from 20210200097286 to 20210200097881. The serial number is located on the product label on the back of the soap tank. The model number can be found on that same label in the upper left.

    The pressure washers, manufactured in China, were sold at Menards stores in the Midwest and other independent hardware stores nationwide and online at https://www.menards.com from April 2021, through November 2021, for about $180.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pressure washers and contact Positec USA for instructions on returning the spray wand for a free replacement.

    Once verified, the firm will provide the consumer with a prepaid shipping label for return of the wand assembly. The company will also provide the consumer with a free replacement. Positec USA is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Harbor Freight Tools recalls pneumatic roller seats

      The connection from the seat to the seat post can break

      Harbor Freight Tools of Calabasas, Calif., is recalling about 478,800 Pittsburgh Automotive Pneumatic Roller Seats.

      The connection from the seat to the seat post can break, posing a fall hazard.

      The company has received 96 reports of the seat weld breaking, including ten reports of minor injuries, including bruises from users falling from the seat.

      This recall involves the Pittsburgh Automotive-branded pneumatic roller seats. The products are red with a 15- to 20-inch pneumatic lift range and have a black storage tray located above the wheels.

      Product Registration Number CA-44417 can be found on a white label located on the bottom of the seat’s storage tray. The item number is printed on a label on the front of the storage tray and the UPC is printed on a label on the underside.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled seats and return them to the nearest Harbor Freight Tools store for a free replacement or full refund in the form of a gift card.

      If consumers are unable to return the seat to one of Harbor Freight Tools’ locations, they should contact Harbor Freight Tools using the toll-free number or email address below to request a prepaid return shipping label for a replacement or a refund.

      Stance recalls kids crew socks

      The bells attached to the socks can detach

      Stance of San Clemente, Calif., is recalling about 10,800 pairs of Kids Reiny Szn Mid-Cushion Crew Socks.

      The bells attached to the socks can detach, posing aspiration and choking hazards to young children.

      The firm has received one report of the bells detaching. No injuries or instances of children putting bells in their mouths have been reported.

      This recall involves the Stance Kids Reiny Szn Mid-Cushion Crew Sock with UPC M: 19107481113 and UPC L: 190107481120. The UPC codes can be found on the back of the hangtag on the sock.

      The socks, sold in children’s sizes medium and large, are brown with a black heel and toe. They have a reindeer image with gold jingling bells attached around the ankle of the socks.

      The socks, manufactured in China, were sold at Stance and specialty and premium apparel stores nationwide and online at www.Stance.com from November 2021, through December 2021, for about $15.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled socks and return them to a Stance store. Consumers can also contact Stance at info@stance.com to receive instructions for a pre-paid shipping label to return the recalled socks.

      Upon return of the recalled socks, consumers will receive a refund in the form of a credit of up to $20 to use on their next purchase on Stance.com or at a Stance retail store. This credit is not transferrable, is not redeemable for cash, and is a one-time usage code.

      The carabiner’s gate automatic closing system can malfunction

      Petzl America of Salt Lake City, Utah, is recalling about 250 Scorpio Eashook Lanyards with Carabiners sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The carabiner’s gate automatic closing system can malfunction, posing a risk of serious injury or death to the user. No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Petzl Scorpio Eashook lanyards with aluminum carabiners at the end of two retractable polyethylene arms.

      The lanyard, designed for via ferrata and adventure park use, supports up to 264 pounds and measures about 30 inches un-retracted. The product measures 43 inches when extended, and the short arm length is about 14 inches.

      SCORPIO is printed on the gray zippered pouch that contains the energy absorber. Petzl is printed on the gray zipper pouch attached to the lanyard, and a serial number ranging from 21A 0000000 000 through 21I 9999999 999 is printed on a white tag in that gray zipper pouch.

      The lanyards, manufactured in France, were sold at Omni Progear, Ouray Mountain Sports, Moosejaw Mountaineering, Backcountry Gear Ltd., and boutique shops nationwide and online at www.petzl.com from January 2021, through February 2022, for about $180.

      AllMeInGeld of Guangdong Shenzhen, China, is recalling about 3,900 children’s nightgowns.

      The garments fail to meet federal flammability standards for children’s sleepwear, posing a risk of burn injuries to children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves AllMeInGeld children’s nightgowns available in three styles: long-sleeved, short-sleeved, and long-sleeved with a matching doll nightgown.

      The nightgowns, made of 100% cotton and sold in children’s sizes 3T through 9, were manufactured in pink stripes with three ribbons at the neck; pink with flower print; pink with unicorn print; pink with lace décor; green, red, and yellow striped nightgowns with a cherry embroidered on the left chest; and blue and pink with printed cherries.

      The nightgowns, manufactured in China, were sold online at Amazon.com from October 2017, through June 2021, for about $16.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled nightgowns away from children and stop using them.

      Customers who purchased the garments from Amazon.com will be contacted through Amazon’s messaging platform and provided with prepaid mailers to return the products for a full refund.

      Home Easy recalls Geek Heat personal heaters

      The toggle power switch can spark when the switch is used

      Home Easy of Fairfield, N.J., is recalling about 3,000 personal electric heaters.

      The toggle power switch can spark when the switch is used, posing a fire hazard.

      The company has received three reports of the toggle power switch causing a fire. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

      This recall involves the Home Easy Geek Heat DH-QN06 personal heaters. The Geek Heat logo is printed on the top of the heater near the vent and the model number is printed on the underside of the heater. The heater measures 20 inches in length, 13 inches in width, and is sold in white.

      The heaters, manufactured in China, were sold at Army & Air Force Exchange Service stores nationwide, at the New Jersey chain of Value Zone stores, and online at amazon.com, walmart.com. target.com and wayfair.com from October 2020, through January of 2021, for about $23.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled heaters and contact Home Easy for a full refund.

      Consumers should destroy the recalled heaters by unplugging the heater prior to cutting the electrical cord. This will make the product inoperable. Consumers should also prominently mark on the product that it is “defective” before following local disposal guidelines.

      Escalade Sports of Evansville, Ind., is recalling about 5,200 Escalade Sports Tennis Tables.

      The tennis table can collapse when consumers lean against it, posing a fall hazard.

      The company has received 78 reports of the tables collapsing, including four reports of minor injuries of scratches and bruises.

      This recall involves the Escalade Sports Ping-Pong T8482F 4-piece AVENGER Table Tennis Table.

      When extended, the table measures 108 inches long by 60 inches wide. It folds to 60 inches long by 22 inches wide. The table includes a mesh net that is 60 inches in length.

      The model number is located on the underside of the table tennis top printed on a white label. “PING-PONG” is painted on the tabletop.

      The tables, manufactured in China, were sold at Target stores nationwide and online at www.target.com from September 2021, to November 2021, for between $100 and $170.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tennis tables and contact Escalade Sports for a free repair kit and installation instructions, or a full refund.

      Escalade Sports requires consumers to cut the net in several places, disassemble the table, and provide pictures to receive a refund. Consumers should not return the recalled tables to Target. Instead, they should contact Escalade Sports for a repair or full refund.

      The hinge-closers can malfunction and not fully self-close gates

      D & D Technologies (USA) of Huntington Beach, Calif., is recalling about 1,500 SureClose READYFIT 180° Hinge-Closer Sets.

      The hinge-closers can malfunction and not fully self-close gates when installed. This can lead to unintended access to pools and other areas, posing injury and drowning hazards to young children.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves OL.MI-branded SureClose READYFIT 180 hinge-closer sets with model numbers 74108333T and 74108335T.

      The hydraulic hardware, which is intended for mounting on gates, was sold with mounting screws and in sets of two hinge-closers per kit with dimples on the end. The recalled hinge-closer sets were manufactured between October 2018, and September 2019.

      OL.MI, and the date code in MM/YY format, are on the end of the body of the hinge-closer and visible when the hinge-closer is in the open position.

      The hinge-closer sets, manufactured in Italy, were sold at fence and gate contractors, distributors, and gate manufacturers nationwide and online at www.shutitgatehardware.com from March 2020, through July 2021, for between $645 and $700, depending on the model.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the hinge-closers and secure access to areas where gates with the hinge-closers are used until they have been replaced.
