But the man came out the day after I called and he fixed everything, and it's working fine. I'm a diabetic with neuropathy and I would have to go across town to do and pay for the exercises I do in the tub. Before, my legs were just healing on the outside, not the inside. Now it’s doing both.”

I was happy with the sales rep. He did everything he was supposed to do... I also managed to break the hot water spigot, the stem on it and I picked up and called the company. And they immediately mailed me another one. So there’s a response from the company that was good. I was raised where their name has always been quality and I have no reason to believe that the product they gave will not be a quality product … I would recommend it good.     “American Standard Walk-in Baths was available much sooner than Safe Step was. We already knew a lot about the tub because we had a walk-in tub before. But the lady was very nice and answered what questions we still had. They had a bunch of people come out at once. They thought they would have to knock a wall out to get the tub in, but they figured out a way to not have to do that. They got the whole thing done in one day. It went very smoothly. We now have a walk-in tub that works. It removes a lot of worry when it comes to falling. It comes with grab bars, and my dad loves that it's so big. He loves taking a bath in it. It would always be nice if it were cheaper, but it seems to be worth it.”

    “We initially wanted to go to Costco and buy a tub, and then get somebody to install it. But Steve said he would do all of that. We also wondered about the warranty for the tub, and he went to Brian who told us that it's a lifetime one so we felt comfortable getting the tub from Independent Home. They also worked with us on the price. My mother got the one with the double motor and the threshold was four inches and she liked it. Installation took a little longer than we had anticipated but he got it in and was done by the time Sabbath came around, which was important to us.”
