About DaBella

Pros
  • Free quotes
  • Customizable solutions

  • Financing options
Cons
  • Not available nationwide

How DaBella works

Each service starts with a free consultation. During this time, a DaBella representative gets to know your project requirements, takes measurements and delivers a price estimate. They will also discuss your warranty options, timelines and answer any questions you have.

Once the project begins, you’ll work with an assigned team. This person is in charge of ensuring the project stays on track. If you need help paying for the project, they can help you find a payment plan.

After installation is complete, DaBella will provide information about your transferable limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella bathroom remodeling services

DaBella provides acrylic bathtubs and shower conversion services. Because each project is different, you need to consult with a DeBella representative before they can give you an accurate cost estimate. In general, a bathtub replacement can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 or more.

  • Bath replacements: DaBella sells tubs made from nonporous acrylic that resists chips, cracks and strains.
  • Tub-to-shower conversions: Conversions can save space and enhance your bathroom’s functionality. You can also upgrade your new enclosure with bench seats, foot pedestals and grab bars.
  • Walk-in bath remodeling: New baths are protected by the manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty and DaBella’s labor warranty.

Installations take about a day or two. After your project is complete, the company recommends waiting 24 hours before you use your new bath or shower.

DaBella roofing services

DaBella partners with GAF for all residential roofing materials. These include various shingles options. GAF is known in the industry for its long-lasting materials and good warranties, and all DaBella technicians are trained at the GAF factory to provide a high level of service.

Labor fees include the cost of removing your old roof. During the process, the company’s team coordinates with you to find a place for disposal that works best.

DaBella window services

DaBella has its own window brands, Glasswing, and also uses Sheffield, Mezzo and Fairfield windows from Alside. Availability varies by location. All windows sold by the company are enhanced for energy conservation and come with a limited transferable manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella sells triple-pane vinyl windows in the following styles:

  • Awning
  • Casement
  • Double-hung
  • End vent
  • Garden
  • Hopper
  • Picture
  • Slider

You can also customize the color, decorative designs (e.g., enclosed grids, decorative glass), trim finishes and molding profiles to create a look that seamlessly complements the rest of the home.

DaBella financing

Financing is available for all sizes of projects and for borrowers of most credit scores.

The process involves filling out an application form; DaBella uses this information to help you secure approval from one of its lending partners.

Approval is subject to credit requirements and satisfactory completion of finance documents. Once the paperwork is finalized, your project can begin. It's important to note that DaBella is neither a broker nor a lender — third-party lenders arrange the terms and conditions of financing.

DaBella warranties

A warranty comes standard in most cases, although coverage varies by product and service. To file a warranty claim, you have to call DaBella or fill out an online claim form.

  • Roofing: Covered by a two-year DaBella warranty on workmanship and the 50-year GAF Golden Pledge
  • Windows: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the window manufacturer Alside
  • Siding: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a 30-year limited warranty through the siding manufacturer James Hardie
  • Baths: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer Sentrel

Do we recommend DaBella?

DaBella is known for its focus on providing quality products and services, and it often partners with top manufacturers in the home improvement industry. A big benefit of working with DaBella is its free on-site estimate. We also like that the company has customizable solutions and can complete installations quickly for roofing, siding, bathroom and window projects.

I think with any home project there is always something that can overlooked or not paid close attention to and for my roofing project, it was the drip edge. My home has a white siding exterior including the soffits and trim, but they for whatever reason got me black colored drip edges, which I didn’t expect and the roofers had started installing. Apparently they typically have only worked with black or brown drip edge, but I didn’t know that. So I called the DaBella office, told them about the situation and thankfully they were able to get me the white drip edge that same day so the roofers could replace what they had installed and finish their work.

Overall, the roof project process was fine. I got a good price for my roof, but there were a few moments of misunderstanding which in the end, have so far turned out to be ok. The rook looks great. One thing I will say is that if you are thinking on financing because you don’t want to give you’re money away so quickly, but can actually pay it off - don’t finance. The bank they work with charges a $75 processing fee on the front end and then a $75 closing fee, as well as ~9% interest rate that accrues daily (i.e. 0.09/365). I luckily reached out to the bank about 3 days after the job was done, which is when the interest starts accruing, and only had to pay around $13 in interest but the $150 in fees to process the loan were annoying. So like I said, if you can pay it off in 2-3 lump sums without getting financing involved, do it.

We were offered a free roofing estimate by a DaBella representative who knocked at our door unanticipated. He was not aggressive about engaging us in conversation but knowledgeable and helpful in answering our questions, and with our agreement, arranged for Sean Foche to do an estimate the next afternoon. Sean surveyed the exterior and interior structural integrity of the roof, demonstrated with photos and careful, thorough explanation the implications of the decline in the roof’s effectiveness. He listened carefully to our questions, encouraging us to ask them all, and offered helpful and knowledgeable answers that reflected his full understanding of the roofing repair process, the qualifications of the roofers and materials used.

Similarly Sean explained the costs, financing options and anticipated scheduling patiently, continually checking to assure our understanding. The work was done within 3 weeks of that encounter. The roofing crew worked hard in challenging heat, and the roof was done efficiently and within the anticipated time. The work supervisor (Jonathan) was willing and able to keep us informed throughout. Post project clean up was thorough and effective. The roof is beautiful, and we believe it will add significantly to the value of our house.

I’ve had a truly positive experience with DaBella’s team in Boise so far. From the first interaction with their canvassers to the in-depth conversation with their sales representatives, I’ve consistently felt respected, informed, and heard. What impressed me most was how they followed my lead instead of pushing a sales agenda. They took the time to listen to what I was actually looking for—what mattered to me—and tailored the conversation to that. There was no pressure to go with an expensive, “Cadillac” solution I didn’t want or couldn’t afford. Instead, they helped me explore realistic, budget-friendly options that still address my home’s needs.

Even more impressive was their attention to detail and the clarity of their communication. They showed me actual photos of what they found and backed up their concerns with well-explained research. There was no guesswork, no scare tactics—just thoughtful explanations. They were very honest about what needed immediate attention versus what could wait 3–5 years, and I appreciate that kind of transparency.

Most importantly, they respected not only my budget, but also my current capacity—what I can realistically take on at this stage of life. That level of understanding made all the difference. I didn’t feel like just another lead; I felt like a person they genuinely wanted to help. I’m looking forward to working with them as I move forward at my own pace with what’s needed in my home and my life. It feels good to have a trusted team in my corner.

Elisha and Damen provided a roof and attic inspection. The timing for us was good. Damen showed and pointed out issues we had with the poor quality work of our builder which is now causing issues in the attic. DaBella appears to be a professional company interested in making the situation right. Sounds a lot like a home improvement program I watch years ago. Quality work is MORE than worth the effort and a little extra cost. We probably could have paid for a “roofer”, at less cost, to replace our shingles and NOT fix our attic issues. Problem is, we would have required the underlying attic issues to be fixed in a few years – for more cost, maybe almost twice.

This is a VERY positive review of Elisha and Damen for helping us fully understand the issues we have and the repair/replacement we will get with DaBella. I’ll provide a follow-up to this review when the actual work is completed. I’m very optimistic the company will provide quality work that fully meets or exceeds our needs. Recap – to this point DaBella appears to be a company interested in totally “fixing” the problem. Thanks – and hope this helps others feel comfortable in working with DaBella.

Johnny ** approached me in a very respectful manner about my sighting, and asked if he could do a free assessment to see how my sighting was doing, right. My house is twenty plus years old, so I knew it was going to be about time to do some more work on it. He very carefully went over all the details before we signed any contracts and let us know that we needed to do two walls and not all four. I like that because it kept the cost down quite a bit.

Another thing I was really happy about was some of the discounts that he let us know about. For instance my husband is a veteran and we are retired so we got some discounts for those things which help whisk the cost. Um, one of the nice things about Johnny is that he let us know the timeline of when the project was going to be completed and gave us really good feedback 4. Any question that we had regarding the project and that was a huge relief.

After the project was complete, he was excellent at keeping in touch with us and answering lots of little questions that popped up for us. I consider that excellent customer service. One of the things I liked quite a bit was that the contractor was able to create a frame for our solar panel electrical outlet and our electrical outlet so that we didn't have extra costs for those companies to come out and remove them and reinstall them. The overall project went when really well and smooth and surprisingly quick. The work crew did their job and I really liked how the end result looked. I appreciated the high quality materials that were used and eventually want to get the other 2 outside walls of my house done with the same type of material and would absolutely use the same company again. And we got a pretty good color match to the original siding, as well.

DaBella Roofing installed a full roof replacement in 2021. We paid for a double-layer underlayment system and specific flashing components designed to prevent water intrusion. Within four years, the roof began leaking and caused interior damage. During inspection, it was confirmed that only a single layer of underlayment was installed, and certain flashing components we paid for were not present. The installation did not reflect what we paid for, and those discrepancies raise serious concerns about contract fulfillment and quality control.

We filed a warranty claim over four months ago. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Calls have gone unreturned, follow-ups have not occurred as promised, and we have repeatedly had to initiate contact ourselves. Although DaBella has agreed to replace the roof, they are refusing to cover the cost of removing and reinstalling our solar panels — an expense made necessary by their original installation failure. If the roof had been installed correctly in 2021, we would not be in this position.

Dabella gets zero star. They are criminal scam artists. Breach contract, breach peace, damage your property, and do not follow standards, leaving roof in worse shape than before they began. They are a fraud, forcing you to pay for their damages, then they want to file against warranty to force manufacturer to pay them again to repair their own damages. Their acts are intentional. They do not leave when asked. Oh must trespass them. They terrorize, leaving you in a state of fear. They should be in jail and company shut down. They are criminals and my warning to any reader is, do not even allow Dabella on your property. If they call, immediately hang up. They are bad people.

DaBella was hard to communicate with once we had signed the contract to have the work done. Tried calling a direct number to our project manager and got put on hold in the general calls list, waited on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. Whoever ordered the materials didn't order enough board for our house, and then the contractor had to stop work until he could pick up the materials he need to finish the job. Too much of some material was sent while not enough of other materials was sent. The project is done but there are a lot of extra products that they have given us a lot of hassle about picking up. I can't even get my car back into the garage until all this extra product is picked up. They communicated to the finance company that our project was completed. As far as we are concerned it's not completed until the extra product is gone. Who knows when that will be. Not happy at all!

I had you installed Hardy board on my house 3 times, they had to come out 2 times. I had to call the corporate office because they just blew me off. Then the expensive cost, I paid for half, financed half, since then it's been a big rip off. 193 a month with may 40 dollars paying off the actual loan, while 140 a month goes into the bank's pocket.

You said a 750 was a good credit rating, yet for some reason, that 9 percent interest actually turned into 9 percent compounded daily. 18,000 the split it over 30 years so 160 payment at 193 dollars a month to pay off 18,000, you're riping off people, lying to them, pushing them into contracts they can't afford. By the 15th of this month, I will be paying off the 13,000 plus that's still left over.

Then the bank charges you 305 to clear the hold on the house that they put on. So yes, this is crappy to pull on seniors who have no clue. Luckily, I took the accounting course at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. I got my tax preparation certificate. Now, after going through this, I wish this on no one and I wish you'd be clear about the hidden crap in your charges.

This is at least the third time in the past year and a half "DaBella" employees have ignored MULTIPLE NO TRESPASSING/NO SOLICITING signs, and come to our front door to bother us anyway. This is trespassing in Washington, a crime. The moment you ignore a NO TRESPASSING sign and walk onto private property anyway, you're trespassing! Why do "DaBella" employees ignore NO TRESPASSING signs? Can they not read? Do they think laws don't apply to them? What's going on? They seem creepy and entitled.
