How DaBella works

Each service starts with a free consultation. During this time, a DaBella representative gets to know your project requirements, takes measurements and delivers a price estimate. They will also discuss your warranty options, timelines and answer any questions you have.

Once the project begins, you’ll work with an assigned team. This person is in charge of ensuring the project stays on track. If you need help paying for the project, they can help you find a payment plan.

After installation is complete, DaBella will provide information about your transferable limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella bathroom remodeling services

DaBella provides acrylic bathtubs and shower conversion services. Because each project is different, you need to consult with a DeBella representative before they can give you an accurate cost estimate. In general, a bathtub replacement can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 or more.

  • Bath replacements: DaBella sells tubs made from nonporous acrylic that resists chips, cracks and strains.
  • Tub-to-shower conversions: Conversions can save space and enhance your bathroom’s functionality. You can also upgrade your new enclosure with bench seats, foot pedestals and grab bars.
  • Walk-in bath remodeling: New baths are protected by the manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty and DaBella’s labor warranty.

Installations take about a day or two. After your project is complete, the company recommends waiting 24 hours before you use your new bath or shower.

DaBella roofing services

DaBella partners with GAF for all residential roofing materials. These include various shingles options. GAF is known in the industry for its long-lasting materials and good warranties, and all DaBella technicians are trained at the GAF factory to provide a high level of service.

Labor fees include the cost of removing your old roof. During the process, the company’s team coordinates with you to find a place for disposal that works best.

DaBella window services

DaBella has its own window brands, Glasswing, and also uses Sheffield, Mezzo and Fairfield windows from Alside. Availability varies by location. All windows sold by the company are enhanced for energy conservation and come with a limited transferable manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella sells triple-pane vinyl windows in the following styles:

  • Awning
  • Casement
  • Double-hung
  • End vent
  • Garden
  • Hopper
  • Picture
  • Slider

You can also customize the color, decorative designs (e.g., enclosed grids, decorative glass), trim finishes and molding profiles to create a look that seamlessly complements the rest of the home.

DaBella financing

Financing is available for all sizes of projects and for borrowers of most credit scores.

The process involves filling out an application form; DaBella uses this information to help you secure approval from one of its lending partners.

Approval is subject to credit requirements and satisfactory completion of finance documents. Once the paperwork is finalized, your project can begin. It's important to note that DaBella is neither a broker nor a lender — third-party lenders arrange the terms and conditions of financing.

DaBella warranties

A warranty comes standard in most cases, although coverage varies by product and service. To file a warranty claim, you have to call DaBella or fill out an online claim form.

  • Roofing: Covered by a two-year DaBella warranty on workmanship and the 50-year GAF Golden Pledge
  • Windows: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the window manufacturer Alside
  • Siding: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a 30-year limited warranty through the siding manufacturer James Hardie
  • Baths: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer Sentrel

Do we recommend DaBella?

DaBella is known for its focus on providing quality products and services, and it often partners with top manufacturers in the home improvement industry. A big benefit of working with DaBella is its free on-site estimate. We also like that the company has customizable solutions and can complete installations quickly for roofing, siding, bathroom and window projects.

They do a good job, but they never call back when we call. Always check up with the customers, whether it’s a visit or a phone call to see how the customers are doing. Always keep your word for any special offers, etc., when you say something like special offers keep your word. When the contractors are doing there, they have to listen to the customers.

Installation went quickly and the house looks much better. Loan arrangements were straightforward. That said, I do have some concerns. The installers just ripped the utility boxes off the wall, damaging the boxes and my solar connection and breaking one light sensor for the lamp by the street and an outlet. Apparently they couldn't be bothered to just remove the screws. I am still waiting for a copy of the warranty and the $350 I was told I would get to help pay for reinstalling the lights on the front and rear of the house. I've tried contacting the person who is listed on my folder as the primary contact without responses.

DaBella provided an opportunity to replace windows that were old with better, beautiful and fitted windows. They were able to provide windows that are the style I wanted, perfectly fitted to the spaces with much better windows than I had at an affordable price. I live in northern Vermont on a mountain where we get very cold weather and lots of wind. These windows provide better insulation. The installation was done very timely and efficiently. The men were professional, clean, and pleasant. They did a great job and left the house and yard clean when they completed the job.

We had a friendly salesman come to our door and asked if we would like to have their company come and inspect our roof, with no obligation to purchase. We had some leaking this past winter, and thought it would be perfect timing. That following Saturday we had an inspector come down to inspect the roof "an hour drive for him he doesn't get paid for." The inspector was very nice and professional, but I did notice a lack of safety equipment etc and that he drove a coupe not a work truck? After the initial inspection, he asked to go into the attic. As suspected there was mold due to the previous winter's leaking.

The salesman went to his car and wrote three super high quotes for roof replacement. 40k 50k and 60k none of which included mold abatement. As one would do, we wanted to get other quotes and I had mentioned that we wouldn't be "pulling the trigger." today. This is when it went downhill. Instantly quotes dropped, and his tone became more desperate and pointed, offering financing, or asking what we as the homeowner thought was a good price. Frustrated after saying no to him a few times, he had me take a pic of my quotes and stormed off to his car and left.

Upon further research in to DaBella, we learned that the sales staff are commission only. This explained the tone of desperation in his voice. We also learned that DaBella does not use their own crews, but subcontracts third parties, who in some reviews are questionable. Long story short, DaBella is a national farming mill for home improvement sales. They quote and charge high, paying a small sub contractor to do the work and keeping the rest themselves. We also had to follow up calls from home office asking if we would like a more seasoned inspector to come out. We made it very clear that we would not be using DaBella for anything on our home, at which time the caller asked if we would like to be placed on a no call list from them. It's a shame companies operate like this, and probably would have gotten the job from us, if they were a legit home improvement company rather than a money farm.

DaBella of Topeka KS. BEWARE!! Way overpriced! Rotten customer service! If you have the misfortune to have hired them, do not pay them until they clean up all the materials. It took weeks and finally contacting the corporate customer service to get the dumpster picked up out of our driveway. Two pallets of siding and leftover materials left blocking the driveway were never picked up; I finally arranged for Habitat for Humanity to remove the materials and had to pay for someone to remove the wood pallets. The sub-contracted workers and material used were excellent you can get the same material and subcontracted workers for much less from other companies in the area.

Updated on 07/03/2026: I wish I had never heard of DaBella! I kept getting phone calls for a (free roof inspection) and I kept telling them “NO!” They don’t give up, finally I relented. The sales rep showed up about 2:00 pm. Took pictures, gave us the sales pitch and wouldn’t leave. Finally he left at 8:10pm and we agreed, reluctantly. Talk about high pressure sales. He was going to do a one stop close. No chance to talk it over or compare to other roofing contractors. I know why, Dabella has to be way overpriced! I have had buyers remorse ever since.

We didn’t get a firm installation date. They called on a Friday saying they would start the next day. We were 4 hours away from home to attend our granddaughter's graduation from high school school. I was very upset that they wouldn’t change the start date. When we got home they were done. The roof looked fine but we found nails in our driveway and they left a partial pallet of material they didn’t need and it took them over two weeks to come and pick them up and several phone calls. Most calls were not returned.

The next project was new rain gutters. It took over a month to get that done and they put up the wrong color. We agreed that white was fine instead of the brown we had ordered. White is cheaper and we should get some sort of compensation. I’m waiting to hear back from them. All in all the work got done. There was lots of delays, calls not returned, frustration, general dissatisfaction. I would caution everyone who might be reading this that DaBella is about as close to a scam as you can get. DO NOT let them on your property!!!!

Original Review: I wish I had never heard of DaBella! They keep calling to set up a "free roof inspection" and even though I said NO several times I finally relented and the rep showed up at 2:00 PM and didn't leave until 8:10 PM.. My wife and I couldn't get rid of him..VERY high pressure sales! We finally said OK and came back the next day with more paperwork to sign and we gave him a down payment. The balance was to be paid or refinanced in two years. During that time we were to have no payment and no interest would accrue. That finally clinched the sale. We weren't given a start date. One day we get a call and they ere going to drop off materials the next day, which they did. Still no start date. We left town the next day to attend our granddaughter's graduation three hours away.

As we are arriving at our destination we get a phone call saying they will be starting the next day, a Saturday and we aren't going to be home! I was livid, I don't want anyone working on our home when we aren't there. But they went ahead and did it anyway. We got home the next day (Sunday) and they were finished, except they left a ballot of unused materials in our driveway. That took several phone calls and about three week before it was picked up. Now we are waiting for them to get our rain gutters installed and we can't get an answer on that and it's been over a month!!! I don't want them to just show up whenever and we may not be home.. I' am seriously considering calling my attorney to see if there is any legal recourse available to me for our overpriced and over promised project.

We are trying to decide if we are being scammed. We went through high pressure sales pitches boasting top services. They did finally have a roof slapped on our house, but no gutters. They were supposed to replace 10 windows, but we’ve heard nothing from them for a month and a half. Then someone came to get our signature for the finished job that hadn’t even been done. We were given three different contact numbers and none of them will answer their phone. I’m inches away from reporting them to our States Attorneys office, the bank they had us sign contracts with and I’ll do whatever I can to lower their BBB rating. This may be a little harsh, but I’m writing this at four in the morning because it’s starting to make me lose sleep. I would never recommend this company. Janet in Washburn.

This is a siding experience. There are so many situations with this job. First the sales pitch is long and they don't give you a quote until you hear the entire presentation is complete. So when the contractor started there was a communication problem. He removed the down spouts right before a rain. I contacted the manager and they would send someone out, it was the contractor that looked lost. There was damage to swing cushions that were cut, large flower pot broken and two outside lights that were not replaced. Workmanship was poor and there was no final inspection. Caulking was not completed and one front window did not get siding. Who does that? This is just a few of the problems we had. I took pictures every day for documention and even sent some to DaBella. A Very dissatisfied customer.

DaBella may be known for providing quality products and service, but that was not my experience. Their sales team was professional and helpful. My issues began with materials, installation, and project execution. I specifically requested and paid for Hardie siding and Hardie trim in a particular color. While the siding installed was correct, a significant portion of the trim was not. Some trim was poorly installed, and some was not Hardie trim at all. During installation, I was told they ran out of materials due to incorrect measurements. Rather than replace the missing material with the product I purchased, they substituted non-Hardie trim in the wrong color.

Before delivery, I clearly stated that materials could be placed on my driveway and deck, both of which had recently been rebuilt, and that no damage should occur. Those instructions were ignored. The delivery and installation process damaged my property, and I was left dealing with both the damage and installation mistakes. DaBella attributed the damage to a subcontracted delivery company and told me to contact them directly. However, I hired DaBella, not the subcontractor, and expected DaBella to properly communicate and manage the project.

As a result of this $70,000+ siding project, I have incurred additional costs and continue to spend time and effort addressing issues that should never have occurred. The damage impacted a recently completed exterior renovation worth more than $160,000, including new driveways, custom stamped concrete, and new Trex decking. I provided photographs documenting the incorrect materials, installation defects, and property damage. Rather than fully correcting the issues, DaBella proposed workarounds instead of replacing the non-Hardie trim with the Hardie trim I purchased.

Recently, a DaBella salesperson visited my home to discuss a roof replacement. I showed him the siding work and explained that, based on my experience, I would neither use DaBella again nor recommend them to others. One of my ongoing concerns involves warranty implications. I was informed that my normal practice of annually power washing my home could create issues if water gets behind the improperly installed trim. If that occurs, resulting damage may not be covered under warranty. In practical terms, the installation issues have left me concerned that routine maintenance could jeopardize warranty coverage for a problem I did not create.

I have not yet filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, DaBella's bonding agents, or other agencies. While others may have had positive experiences, mine was costly, frustrating, and remains unresolved. Based on my experience, I would only recommend using DaBella if you are prepared to closely supervise every stage of the project and verify that the materials and workmanship match what you were promised and paid for.

DaBella has been one of the worst contractor experiences I have ever had. I was sold a shower remodel that was represented as a 1-3 day project, but nearly two weeks later I still did not have a working shower in my only bathroom. Their communication has been vague, reactive, and completely inadequate, with no firm completion date and no meaningful accountability. Even more concerning, when DaBella claimed the missing part had been ordered and shipped, I requested a tracking number for the part needed to complete the project; when I contacted the carrier, they stated they had no record of that tracking number and had not handled freight for DaBella since before the part was supposedly ordered.

After leaving me without a usable shower, providing inconsistent explanations, and offering only a token discount, I have no confidence in this company's representations or project management. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others against hiring DaBella, as they engage in deceptive business practices.

They told us to get ahold of Sentel who supplies the walls floor and other parts. I got ahold of them, and they said "Doesn't DaBella have a two-year warranty"? I said no. They told me one year warranty. Bottom line is that both are passing the ball. My problem with the shower install is the caulking on the shower entrance it has started to leak enough to wet the throw rug. The installer who did the caulking said, "He was new to this company sub-contracting and caulking wasn't his best thing". So it comes down to the customer has to do the warranty work. Not a good company to deal with. Review written on {May 28, 2026}. Ray

Almost had to call the police to kick these men out of my home that overstayed their welcome 3 hours too many. How they wrestled my husband to let them in my house, use my bathroom and sit at my dinner table is beyond me. They work up a sleeping baby!!! Scared myself and my 2 young girls. Their aggressive approach was not welcomed. My husband asked them numerous times to leave our home as he had to get up for work it was 9:45 pm!!!!

Once they left my table and started walking out my husband after asking them to leave 5 times in English and Spanish they stood in front of my closed front door a length of time that became creepy af. All the while they were laughing and carrying on with their car doors open. Once they walked to their car they stayed in front of my house another 10 min. At this point in time I wouldn’t buy a water hose from them let alone a 35k roof. They need to screen these creepy ** men better. I felt extremely uncomfortable, I get trying to get a sale but no way was I signing a contract for them to leave my home. I really hope they do not come back cause I will be filing a report. This whole ordeal was insanity to the point of harassment. I never felt so threatened in my own home.

BEWARE of DaBella. My children, furbabies and myself are facing homelessness due to a faulty installation of my roof, allowing water to enter for over a year. They repaired the roof 13 months after the first of several leaks, but refused to fix the water damage. It's now 5 years since the first install and my home has deteriorated to near uninhabitable conditions. The roof cap was not straight, the materials underlapped 1/4", exposed nail heads, etc...

My deceased son's puppy passed away from respiratory issues last year, and my children and I are always sick. Both my children, my son's bed, and our cats have gone through the floor. My washer, dryer and dishwasher all fell through the rotting floor. So, they're all in my backyard now. I still owe 11 more years on my roof, but will be homeless before then! This company should not be allowed to destroy lives.

Not only was my order done early but the crew did a fantastic job. 2-½ hours to replace 4 windows is efficiency at its finest. I'm loving the new 'climate' indoors now that DaBella's windows provide the insulation.

I’m a retired university professor. Based on my personal experience, I’d give DaBella’s Boise branch negative five stars, if that were possible. This is based on project management, fraudulent communication skills, financial misconduct, dishonest lobbying efforts, and one and two-star reviews. Definitely pay attention to the ratings, along with everything else I mentioned; they reflect what I’ve dealt with and what you likely will too.

The Boise reps acted like they walked on water at the beginning. Before the project began, they asked if I was happy so far. I said I was. A salesman took my phone and went on to give DaBella a very high rating—supposedly on my behalf. I found out later that he not only gave them a very high rating, but an exceedingly high one. This was before the project even started. But that’s just the beginning of this horror story.

A good friend (a former Green Beret) was there when one of the Boise salesmen offered me a $30,000 discount. The reason? I financially supported and still support an orphanage with over 200 kids (many with special needs, such as Down Syndrome). He seemed very sympathetic, but buyer beware. I found out the rate they actually charged me was $17,000 more than the highest competitors for similar projects.

On top of that, they leaned in heavily to false and exaggerated sales pitches. Case in point: They insisted my siding had serious damage. They emphasized that replacement was the best solution. But another professional and I observed the process. In a nutshell, the workers’ claims were untrue. There was also a great deal of laziness and arbitrary actions on their part. They promised to replace a number of boards, because hornets tend to nest in moist areas. At least, that’s what they claimed. That might be true. But they just covered the boards up after a number of follow ups. That’s what led me to later replace the sidings. But the horrors continued.

They also didn’t install the bathroom window, which was a part of the contract we drew up. And they destroyed my lawn on the south and east sides of my home. Last I checked, they claimed to support home improvement, not home destruction! On top of all these issues, they brought many supplies without any protective covers whatsoever during heavy rain and snow. I followed up, but they took no further action. This weather continued for several weeks.

If these experiences sound familiar, they should. These are similar to those of other customers who’ve reviewed DaBella. Many have said that workers didn’t start at the promised time. Not even a week or two close to the promised time, for that matter. They also made it clear that management made minimal to mediocre efforts to help them solve their problems.

Then there’s the matter of compensation and follow-up. DaBella’s Boise manager promised to compensate me for the siding, incomplete bathroom window, and the lawn destruction. After emails, texts, calls, and visits to their office, they didn’t respond in any shape or form. The proof is in the pudding. Yet another horrific twist: the financing.

I got a surprise email from a financing company, without any heads-up from DaBella. I also got a 9.99% interest rate, rather than the promised 8.5%. And my signature was forged on the financial documents they sent. Let me just restate that DaBella never gave me this financing company’s name. I never signed a single document for this company. The financing company claims they’re “investigating” the matter, but they haven’t given me the investigative summary I’ve requested. In a nutshell, I don’t want my fellow Americans, especially vulnerable seniors, going through this. Please be very cautious when it comes to DaBella’s promises, especially in Boise.

Trespassing is not a sales tactic—it is a liability and a matter for law enforcement. I am submitting this report to warn others of the disturbing and predatory tactics used by this company’s sales representatives in San Diego. My recent encounter involved two individuals who utilized aggressive, "manosphere"-style dominance tactics and blatant harassment. Despite being asked to leave my private property several times, the representatives refused to vacate. Instead, they engaged in manipulative banter, attempting to insinuate that I was at fault for the interaction. Their refusal to respect a direct request to leave shifted the encounter from a solicitation to a criminal trespass.

I was ultimately forced to physically escort them to my property line. Even as they were being removed, they continued to "lecture" me on why their presence was necessary, claiming I was "failing to help myself" and labeling my self-defense as "aggressive." This is a clear attempt to gaslight a homeowner while actively violating their property rights. This behavior is unsafe, unsolicited, and unprofessional. Using psychological manipulation and trespassing as a "sales tactic" is not only a failure of corporate ethics but a significant liability and a matter for law enforcement. Homeowners should be wary of allowing these individuals near their premises.

High-pressure sales. Shoddy work. Nice windows. Won't honor what was discussed and promised. I would NEVER recommend this outfit to anyone!!! Prices well over reasonable. Did not do the work as discussed. This job looks good, but isn't done properly. Only gave a 1-star as there was no quarter-star or lower.
