About DaBella

DaBella is a home improvement company that operates in several states across the U.S. It offers a range of products and services to improve the interior and exterior of your home, including roofing, siding, bathroom remodeling and window replacements.

Pros
  • Free quotes
  • Customizable solutions
  • Quick installations
  • Financing options
Cons
  • Not available nationwide

How DaBella works

Each service starts with a free consultation. During this time, a DaBella representative gets to know your project requirements, takes measurements and delivers a price estimate. They will also discuss your warranty options, timelines and answer any questions you have.

Once the project begins, you’ll work with an assigned team. This person is in charge of ensuring the project stays on track. If you need help paying for the project, they can help you find a payment plan.

After installation is complete, DaBella will provide information about your transferable limited lifetime manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella bathroom remodeling services

DaBella provides acrylic bathtubs and shower conversion services. Because each project is different, you need to consult with a DeBella representative before they can give you an accurate cost estimate. In general, a bathtub replacement can cost anywhere from $6,000 to $10,000 or more.

  • Bath replacements: DaBella sells tubs made from nonporous acrylic that resists chips, cracks and strains.
  • Tub-to-shower conversions: Conversions can save space and enhance your bathroom’s functionality. You can also upgrade your new enclosure with bench seats, foot pedestals and grab bars.
  • Walk-in bath remodeling: New baths are protected by the manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty and DaBella’s labor warranty.

Installations take about a day or two. After your project is complete, the company recommends waiting 24 hours before you use your new bath or shower.

DaBella roofing services

DaBella partners with GAF for all residential roofing materials. These include various shingles options. GAF is known in the industry for its long-lasting materials and good warranties, and all DaBella technicians are trained at the GAF factory to provide a high level of service.

Labor fees include the cost of removing your old roof. During the process, the company’s team coordinates with you to find a place for disposal that works best.

DaBella window services

DaBella has its own window brands, Glasswing, and also uses Sheffield, Mezzo and Fairfield windows from Alside. Availability varies by location. All windows sold by the company are enhanced for energy conservation and come with a limited transferable manufacturer’s warranty.

DaBella sells triple-pane vinyl windows in the following styles:

  • Awning
  • Casement
  • Double-hung
  • End vent
  • Garden
  • Hopper
  • Picture
  • Slider

You can also customize the color, decorative designs (e.g., enclosed grids, decorative glass), trim finishes and molding profiles to create a look that seamlessly complements the rest of the home.

DaBella financing

Financing is available for all sizes of projects and for borrowers of most credit scores.

The process involves filling out an application form; DaBella uses this information to help you secure approval from one of its lending partners.

Approval is subject to credit requirements and satisfactory completion of finance documents. Once the paperwork is finalized, your project can begin. It's important to note that DaBella is neither a broker nor a lender — third-party lenders arrange the terms and conditions of financing.

DaBella warranties

A warranty comes standard in most cases, although coverage varies by product and service. To file a warranty claim, you have to call DaBella or fill out an online claim form.

  • Roofing: Covered by a two-year DaBella warranty on workmanship and the 50-year GAF Golden Pledge
  • Windows: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the window manufacturer Alside
  • Siding: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a 30-year limited warranty through the siding manufacturer James Hardie
  • Baths: Covered by a one-year DaBella warranty and a limited lifetime warranty through the manufacturer Sentrel

Do we recommend DaBella?

DaBella is known for its focus on providing quality products and services, and it often partners with top manufacturers in the home improvement industry. A big benefit of working with DaBella is its free on-site estimate. We also like that the company has customizable solutions and can complete installations quickly for roofing, siding, bathroom and window projects.

Conner ** arrived at our home at the scheduled time of 6:30 on the 18th of May. He is very knowledgeable of everything DaBella offers in installing a walk-in shower. Connor showed us samples of everything we were looking for. Talked about pricing & discounts & we are looking forward to having our new shower installed. I will be happy to write another review after the work is complete. We know that we have hired the right company for this project. You have a lot of satisfied customers & that's what helped us sign the contract. Thank you Conner

DaBella provided an opportunity to replace windows that were old with better, beautiful and fitted windows. They were able to provide windows that are the style I wanted, perfectly fitted to the spaces with much better windows than I had at an affordable price. I live in northern Vermont on a mountain where we get very cold weather and lots of wind. These windows provide better insulation. The installation was done very timely and efficiently. The men were professional, clean, and pleasant. They did a great job and left the house and yard clean when they completed the job.

Our roof is old and in need of serious repair. DaBella provided a professional work crew that not only replaced our old shingles (3 layers) with the new DaBella shingles but they also fixed four broken joists ,no extra charge. Impressive! They started work on our home on Thursday March 5th and completed our roof on Saturday March 7th. Again impressive!.

Our old Chimney at the top of our roof was an eye sore. My wife claimed it must be taking ** because it was loosing bricks and mortar (weight) fast. DaBella had a quick and easy solution. DaBella had a different work crew install our new rain gutters. Again the work crew was excellent. They provided professional service and fixed a rotting wood section that our old gutters were struggling with. Nice! Now our roof looks beautiful. DaBella was easy to work with. They answered all our questions and was able to solve every concern. Consequently we are happy with our new roof and happy with the over all experience we had working with DaBella.

Angie came and did a cold call door knock and mentioned their services, then Michael and Sebastion came out later and did an inspection. It was perfect timing because my roof LOOKED fine but when we got in the attic the boards were just starting to get wet from rain and you could see the wetness. Michael and Sebastion did their best to get the cost down for me and set up the appointment to have the roof replaced.

The guys who did the roof did the whole roof in one day and even cleaned up the yard better than they found it. They worked fast and it looks amazing!!! I like that I won't have to deal with Moss for 25+ years because of the type of shingle used and the 50+ year warranty is transferable if I sell. Sebastion and Michael made sure I knew all the benefits of the materials they use and how well it stands up and how well the warranty covers anything that might come up. I am very happy with the services from Dabella!

We had DeBella install a new shower for us over 10K in price. They subcontract out to professional contractors. We had the work done 11/05/2024 which was past DeBella one year warranty. They told us to get ahold of Sentel who supplies the walls floor and other parts. I got ahold of them, and they said "Doesn't DaBella have a two-year warranty"? I said no. They told me one year warranty. Bottom line is that both are passing the ball. My problem with the shower install is the caulking on the shower entrance it has started to leak enough to wet the throw rug. The installer who did the caulking said, "He was new to this company sub-contracting and caulking wasn't his best thing". So it comes down to the customer has to do the warranty work. Not a good company to deal with. Review written on {May 28, 2026}. Ray

Almost had to call the police to kick these men out of my home that overstayed their welcome 3 hours too many. How they wrestled my husband to let them in my house, use my bathroom and sit at my dinner table is beyond me. They work up a sleeping baby!!! Scared myself and my 2 young girls. Their aggressive approach was not welcomed. My husband asked them numerous times to leave our home as he had to get up for work it was 9:45 pm!!!!

Once they left my table and started walking out my husband after asking them to leave 5 times in English and Spanish they stood in front of my closed front door a length of time that became creepy af. All the while they were laughing and carrying on with their car doors open. Once they walked to their car they stayed in front of my house another 10 min. At this point in time I wouldn’t buy a water hose from them let alone a 35k roof. They need to screen these creepy ** men better. I felt extremely uncomfortable, I get trying to get a sale but no way was I signing a contract for them to leave my home. I really hope they do not come back cause I will be filing a report. This whole ordeal was insanity to the point of harassment. I never felt so threatened in my own home.

BEWARE of DaBella. My children, furbabies and myself are facing homelessness due to a faulty installation of my roof, allowing water to enter for over a year. They repaired the roof 13 months after the first of several leaks, but refused to fix the water damage. It's now 5 years since the first install and my home has deteriorated to near uninhabitable conditions. The roof cap was not straight, the materials underlapped 1/4", exposed nail heads, etc...

My deceased son's puppy passed away from respiratory issues last year, and my children and I are always sick. Both my children, my son's bed, and our cats have gone through the floor. My washer, dryer and dishwasher all fell through the rotting floor. So, they're all in my backyard now. I still owe 11 more years on my roof, but will be homeless before then! This company should not be allowed to destroy lives.

I’m a retired university professor. Based on my personal experience, I’d give DaBella’s Boise branch negative five stars, if that were possible. This is based on project management, fraudulent communication skills, financial misconduct, dishonest lobbying efforts, and one and two-star reviews. Definitely pay attention to the ratings, along with everything else I mentioned; they reflect what I’ve dealt with and what you likely will too.

The Boise reps acted like they walked on water at the beginning. Before the project began, they asked if I was happy so far. I said I was. A salesman took my phone and went on to give DaBella a very high rating—supposedly on my behalf. I found out later that he not only gave them a very high rating, but an exceedingly high one. This was before the project even started. But that’s just the beginning of this horror story.

A good friend (a former Green Beret) was there when one of the Boise salesmen offered me a $30,000 discount. The reason? I financially supported and still support an orphanage with over 200 kids (many with special needs, such as Down Syndrome). He seemed very sympathetic, but buyer beware. I found out the rate they actually charged me was $17,000 more than the highest competitors for similar projects.

On top of that, they leaned in heavily to false and exaggerated sales pitches. Case in point: They insisted my siding had serious damage. They emphasized that replacement was the best solution. But another professional and I observed the process. In a nutshell, the workers’ claims were untrue. There was also a great deal of laziness and arbitrary actions on their part. They promised to replace a number of boards, because hornets tend to nest in moist areas. At least, that’s what they claimed. That might be true. But they just covered the boards up after a number of follow ups. That’s what led me to later replace the sidings. But the horrors continued.

They also didn’t install the bathroom window, which was a part of the contract we drew up. And they destroyed my lawn on the south and east sides of my home. Last I checked, they claimed to support home improvement, not home destruction! On top of all these issues, they brought many supplies without any protective covers whatsoever during heavy rain and snow. I followed up, but they took no further action. This weather continued for several weeks.

If these experiences sound familiar, they should. These are similar to those of other customers who’ve reviewed DaBella. Many have said that workers didn’t start at the promised time. Not even a week or two close to the promised time, for that matter. They also made it clear that management made minimal to mediocre efforts to help them solve their problems.

Then there’s the matter of compensation and follow-up. DaBella’s Boise manager promised to compensate me for the siding, incomplete bathroom window, and the lawn destruction. After emails, texts, calls, and visits to their office, they didn’t respond in any shape or form. The proof is in the pudding. Yet another horrific twist: the financing.

I got a surprise email from a financing company, without any heads-up from DaBella. I also got a 9.99% interest rate, rather than the promised 8.5%. And my signature was forged on the financial documents they sent. Let me just restate that DaBella never gave me this financing company’s name. I never signed a single document for this company. The financing company claims they’re “investigating” the matter, but they haven’t given me the investigative summary I’ve requested. In a nutshell, I don’t want my fellow Americans, especially vulnerable seniors, going through this. Please be very cautious when it comes to DaBella’s promises, especially in Boise.

Trespassing is not a sales tactic—it is a liability and a matter for law enforcement. I am submitting this report to warn others of the disturbing and predatory tactics used by this company’s sales representatives in San Diego. My recent encounter involved two individuals who utilized aggressive, "manosphere"-style dominance tactics and blatant harassment. Despite being asked to leave my private property several times, the representatives refused to vacate. Instead, they engaged in manipulative banter, attempting to insinuate that I was at fault for the interaction. Their refusal to respect a direct request to leave shifted the encounter from a solicitation to a criminal trespass.

I was ultimately forced to physically escort them to my property line. Even as they were being removed, they continued to "lecture" me on why their presence was necessary, claiming I was "failing to help myself" and labeling my self-defense as "aggressive." This is a clear attempt to gaslight a homeowner while actively violating their property rights. This behavior is unsafe, unsolicited, and unprofessional. Using psychological manipulation and trespassing as a "sales tactic" is not only a failure of corporate ethics but a significant liability and a matter for law enforcement. Homeowners should be wary of allowing these individuals near their premises.

It has been a long time since I have dealt with a business like this, and I hope to God it will be the last. I was looking for a quote on siding for my home, and then they started talking about windows on if I have a lifetime warranty. I said I have a lifetime warranty as that is why I bought them, so he started with the everyone's lifetime warranty is not really a warranty... blah, blah, blah Then as he knows I am getting numerous quotes and discuss options and what kind of payment do I want to be at. I said forget about the payment, I just want a quote and we started out in the 40K area, and in the end we were down to 24K. Again, "How is your credit as we can get great financing on great credit." Like I do not know this.

I told them I have walked out of Auto dealerships many times for the crap they are doing, and finally they left. At 0800 the very next morning from their office saying, "Hi Gregg. We were just out there, how old is your siding, as we have some other alternatives." I said, "You guys were just out here and know all of the information," and hung up. In the afternoon I got another phone call from them with the same BS, and I told them to never contact me again. I blocked their number and would never deal with such a low life company as this that hounds you, and I still have others coming to give me bids. They are rude, arrogant, and a piece of crap.

Sales pitch was convincing and services offered sounded great, however, the real issues was the lack of professionalism. One rep lied saying they were only going to look at the outside but the 2nd rep said that was wrong and needs to see the inside too. Rep was then pushy and refused to listen to consumer. I see why they have a high success sales is because they basically force consumers to buy their products/services. We told the rep to give us time to think about it but he just wouldn't listen. We asked him to leave multiple times but he refused even telling us "I can't leave" and continuously tried to force us to buy. Luckily, my partner came home and got him to leave but this isn't sales pitching, it's harassment. I didn't feel safe in my own home and wondered if my partner wasn't home, what could've happened. It took another man to get him to listen, as a woman this is concerning.

Makes me wonder, what kind of people do they hire and what kind of training do they give? They emphasize communication but they fall short on it by lying to us in the first place and definitely lack respect for the consumer and listening skills. We would've purchased the services if only he would've been respectful and listened. Because of this, we ultimately decided not to go with DaBella and will not recommend to others.

We contracted with DaBella for roofing and siding in northern Arizona. What followed was a months-long exercise in miscommunication, delay, and internal dysfunction far worse than any government bureaucracy we’ve ever engaged with. We dealt with:

      • Failure to provide color samples and codes as promised despite repeated requests (leaving us to guess at matching colors for trim)
      • Materials delivered incorrectly, causing weeks of delay
      • Chaotic and unresponsive project coordination with no empowered single point of contact
      • Unresponsive regional managers who failed to deliver on several things sales people promised
      • Repeated follow-ups were required to fix install problems
      • Long unexplained pauses in work
      • Mistakes and quality issues after completion
      • Project manager actually asking for our advice on how to fix their logistical problems
      • Installers finally arriving to repair their siding mistakes with no prior notice while we had guests in our home
      • No available contact information allowed us to escalate concerns to corporate managers when regional managers were unresponsive

      • A nominal discount only after repeated threats to escalate via consumer complaints

DaBella appears to operate as a siloed bureaucracy. Sales, project coordination, installation, and management do not communicate effectively (or at all?) with one another. Getting someone empowered to make decisions was nearly impossible. We experienced ghosting, internal forwarding of emails with no follow-through, and repeated assurances that did not materialize into action.

We are reasonable people and have never written a review like this before. We wanted this project to succeed. Instead, we had to document everything, attempt to escalate repeatedly, and manage the company rather than the other way around. If you choose to work with DaBella, document everything, expect delays, and assume you will need to attempt escalation to management more than once and settle for mediocrity in the final product.

We really did not want to write this review—and would never have written this review if any DaBella manager had ever taken the time to call, apologize, and have a conversation with us (we’ve given them several weeks since completion to respond and we have still not even received the vacation voucher they promised us when we signed our contract).

DaBella Roofing installed a full roof replacement in 2021. We paid for a double-layer underlayment system and specific flashing components designed to prevent water intrusion. Within four years, the roof began leaking and caused interior damage. During inspection, it was confirmed that only a single layer of underlayment was installed, and certain flashing components we paid for were not present. The installation did not reflect what we paid for, and those discrepancies raise serious concerns about contract fulfillment and quality control.

We filed a warranty claim over four months ago. Since then, communication has been inconsistent. Calls have gone unreturned, follow-ups have not occurred as promised, and we have repeatedly had to initiate contact ourselves. Although DaBella has agreed to replace the roof, they are refusing to cover the cost of removing and reinstalling our solar panels — an expense made necessary by their original installation failure. If the roof had been installed correctly in 2021, we would not be in this position.

Dabella gets zero star. They are criminal scam artists. Breach contract, breach peace, damage your property, and do not follow standards, leaving roof in worse shape than before they began. They are a fraud, forcing you to pay for their damages, then they want to file against warranty to force manufacturer to pay them again to repair their own damages. Their acts are intentional. They do not leave when asked. Oh must trespass them. They terrorize, leaving you in a state of fear. They should be in jail and company shut down. They are criminals and my warning to any reader is, do not even allow Dabella on your property. If they call, immediately hang up. They are bad people.

DaBella was hard to communicate with once we had signed the contract to have the work done. Tried calling a direct number to our project manager and got put on hold in the general calls list, waited on hold for 20 minutes and gave up. Whoever ordered the materials didn't order enough board for our house, and then the contractor had to stop work until he could pick up the materials he need to finish the job. Too much of some material was sent while not enough of other materials was sent. The project is done but there are a lot of extra products that they have given us a lot of hassle about picking up. I can't even get my car back into the garage until all this extra product is picked up. They communicated to the finance company that our project was completed. As far as we are concerned it's not completed until the extra product is gone. Who knows when that will be. Not happy at all!

Got these windows installed in Austin Mn, whole house was done. They had to come back several times due to many issues, not insulating around the windows, windows not installed correctly, ice buildup inside windows, mold around my windowsills. Then they finally replaced all of them completely and we have the same issues again. They are coming a third time to see what happened...Would never recommend them to anyone. Very poor workmanship and quality.

My parents live in East Wenatchee, and recently a group from Dabella came through and sat down my 74 year old stroke-victim-father down for three hours to convince him to purchase a roof. Luckily they did not agree to it. I have attached the estimate which is a minimum of $40,000 for 2500 ft.² of roofing and 120 feet of gutters. The high end was $60,000. There are all sorts of reports online about this company and they should be investigated. I live in Lake Stevens, Washington and paid less than half of this amount for a larger roof where labor rates and disposal fees are higher.

I had you installed Hardy board on my house 3 times, they had to come out 2 times. I had to call the corporate office because they just blew me off. Then the expensive cost, I paid for half, financed half, since then it's been a big rip off. 193 a month with may 40 dollars paying off the actual loan, while 140 a month goes into the bank's pocket.

You said a 750 was a good credit rating, yet for some reason, that 9 percent interest actually turned into 9 percent compounded daily. 18,000 the split it over 30 years so 160 payment at 193 dollars a month to pay off 18,000, you're riping off people, lying to them, pushing them into contracts they can't afford. By the 15th of this month, I will be paying off the 13,000 plus that's still left over.

Then the bank charges you 305 to clear the hold on the house that they put on. So yes, this is crappy to pull on seniors who have no clue. Luckily, I took the accounting course at Chemeketa Community College in Salem, Oregon. I got my tax preparation certificate. Now, after going through this, I wish this on no one and I wish you'd be clear about the hidden crap in your charges.

This will be on Google also. The whole roofing experience was terrible based on the sales rep. First, I will say the roofing crew did a great job. Worked hard. They did make a mistake on the porch and said I will have to pay for it. This was corrected by Katie promptly. Jose was professional and did a great job of communication with us and the crew.

Now the sales rep, Austin, still makes me so mad no went through with the deal. He showed up, I said I had one hour to discuss the estimate. After one hour he would not leave my house after multiple requests. He continued to ignore my requests as I continued to ask him to leave. Then on top of this he had the audacity to ask me if my wife would be alright if I made this $20,000+ decision without her approval. Then he asked me to call her at work to get an answer. Now we are way past the allotted one hour. During the discussion he said I need to value his time and how it’s important which is why I needed to give him an answer asap. I was so irritated and uncomfortable that I was considering calling the police. In addition, instead of giving me a price he kept asking me what I can afford a month. I finally told him I will give him an answer that night after talking to my wife.

That night I texted him we can forward, but since I didn’t jump on the offer he gave me earlier that day that the shingles that I requested were all of a sudden out of stock. I told him per text, "Please don’t play games with me." He went on to say that his valuable time is limited and didn’t know if he could still give me a deal. After 20 minutes he offered me another color which I reluctantly agreed to. Two days later he came to our house for signatures. I explained that we had half an hour due to my daughter's recital. Then once again the process went past the time allotted. Running me through the signatures. I was so irritated to get him out of my house.

First, I am upset with myself with giving in to this high pressure sales. I wanted a roof, but the thing that stands out from this experience was how rude Austin was in this process. It was disgusting. And shame on me for allowing it. I honestly do not know to this day what I paid for this roof. Even when I look back at the whole experience, all I think about was the sales person’s tactics. I will put this review on Google. I have a neighbor who needs a roof and the only thing I recommend is to avoid this company.

Why do "DaBella" employees ignore NO TRESPASSING signs? Can they not read? Do they think laws don't apply to them? What's going on? They seem creepy and entitled.

My experience at first I thought was good and then I sat with it and realized that they used sales tactics for the reduction of price they overquoted and then reduced it. For a combined install of windows and siding they started off at 90,000 and then reduced it down to 58,000. They also use manipulative sales tactics because I had asked for a certain price and in blind faith and exhaustion after over six hours, signed the contract. Figuring I was good to go, then later reread the whole contract & found out that it was eight grand more that I told him than what I wanted to pay. Shame on me for not catching it sooner. Other companies have been sued for this practice.

My first human contact with DaBella is named Zsahari. She inspected, provided pictures and explained the issues and new roof expenses. She estimated the age of my current roof, by current regulation changes, vs how it was put on 30+ years ago. She provided samples of what will be used, and reasons it's needed. She estimated replacement, including plywood sheets, with proof they will be needed. No other estimate received included this, it would have been a huge additional expense. Only one other roofer even spoke to me any amount of time before giving an estimate. She found a price and monthly payment I can live with. She found financing, with decent interest, no payment penalties, without a hard hit on my credit report. She assures me she will be available through the entire process. She was very professional and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions, some I did not think to ask. I'm looking forward to the rest of her crew being the same.

This company has super aggressive marketing. They go door to door month after months or even weeks after weeks, with out of town individuals who never take "No" for an answer and will not remove address from contact list. One time they tried to tell me the decorative markings on my brick house was a sign of failure. Obviously well trained in their sales tactics, but not well trained in good customer service. I would never recommend just based on that. They should honor 'do not contact' and train their door to door manipulators better. I live in Logan Utah.

I am a new home owner and 10 days after my income changed, they weren’t willing to help me out with canceling the project because I didn’t want to continue because I knew I no longer would be able to pay. Every time I called to speak to someone, it was, "I’ll have them call you" and I wouldn’t get a call, multiple attempts, I finally talked to someone today Jan 13 and he said that if I break contract that I would still have to pay 50% of the 15000 back to them. They have no compassion for an honest person not trying to put myself in a hole that I can’t pay at the end. It seems all they want is money and not trying to satisfy customers.
