Audi is recalling 13,004 model year 2021-2022 Audi Q3s.
The vent pipe within the fuel tank may have been damaged when the fuel tank was being assembled
This could result in fuel spilling out of the filler neck when the fuel cap is opened, increasing the risk of an injury.
Audi's parent company, Volkswagen, has recalled more than a-half million vehicles this year
What to do
If an inspection of the internal vent pipe shows it's been damaged, dealers will replace the charcoal canister and the fuel tank free of charge.
Owners should receive notification letters sometime around November 4, 2022.
Owners may contact Audi's customer service at (800) 253-2834. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 20DS.
