    Carbon monoxide may enter the cabin

    Forest River is recalling 111 model year 2020-2022 Cardinal fifth wheel recreational vehicles.

    The generator compartment may not be sealed properly, allowing carbon monoxide to enter the vehicle.

    Carbon monoxide inside the vehicle can increase the risk of injury or death.

    What to do

    Dealers will inspect the generator compartment for proper sealant and will apply it -- if necessary -- free of charge.

      The product contains pecans, an allergen not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been reported to date.

      The impacted product, from lot 6Z1L24, was distributed through Gordon Food Service (“GFS”) in retail and wholesale stores in Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.

      What to do

      Customers with an allergy or sensitivity to pecans who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. Instead, they should return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      The owner's manual contains incorrect airbag information

      Bentley Motors is recalling 3,777 model year 2021-2022 Bentaygas, Continental GTs, Flying Spurs, and Continental GT Convertibles.

      The owner's manual incorrectly states that the airbag system will not deploy when the "Passenger Airbag On" symbol is illuminated.

      The incorrect information may change how occupants position themselves in relation to the airbags, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.

      The bottle may not dispense medication properly

      Padagis US is recalling 12-g spray bottles of Nitroglycerin Lingual Spray.

      Bottles of the product, used to relieve an attack or prophylaxis of chest pain due to coronary artery disease, may not dispense medication properly.

      The company has not received any reports of adverse events.

      The recalled product -- including lot numbers 150892, 153199, and 156041, with expiration dates of October 2022, February 2023, and April 2023, respectively -- was distributed throughout the U.S.

      What to do

      Patients who have this product should contact their health care provider for a replacement before returning the recalled product.

      Savaria recalls residential elevators

      Young children can become trapped in the space between the doors

      Savaria Corporation of Canada is recalling about 19,500 Savaria and Garaventa branded residential elevators.

      Young children can become trapped in the space between the exterior landing (hoistway) door and the interior elevator car door or gate if there is a hazardous gap. This could cause serious injuries or death when the elevator is called to another floor.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Savaria and Garaventa branded residential elevators manufactured from 1999 through 2021. Models include: Eclipse, Infinity, Kwiklift, MR, and HR. Model names are located on the elevators’ controllers.

      The elevators, manufactured in Canada, were sold nationwide through a network of authorized dealers and, occasionally, directly to consumers from January 1999, through December 2021, for between approximately $20,000 to $35,000, including installation.

      What to do

      Consumers should keep unsupervised young children away from the recalled residential elevators and contact the manufacturers for instructions on how to measure for space guards to correct any hazardous gap. Space guards will be provided free of charge, and assistance with space guard installation will be provided on request.

      The recalled products, with lot numbers 1141, 1161 and 1162, UPC 842379197598, and “best by” dates May 28, 2022, and June 10 – 11, 2022, were sold through Amazon Fresh stores and Fresh online channels and were distributed throughout the U.S.

      Young children can become trapped in the space between the exterior landing (hoistway) door and the interior elevator car door or gate if there is a hazardous gap. This could cause serious injuries or death when the elevator is called to another floor.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Bella residential elevators manufactured from 2009 to 2021. Models include Symmetry IGD, Hydraulic, and Winding Drum Elevators. The Symmetry brand name is located on the elevators’ controllers. 

      The elevators and parts, manufactured in the U.S., were sold through a network of authorized dealers and, occasionally, directly to consumers nationwide from June 2009, to December 2021, for between approximately $20,000 and $35,000, including installation.

      What to do

      Consumers should keep unsupervised young children away from the recalled residential elevators and contact the manufacturers for instructions on how to measure for space guards to correct any hazardous gap.

      Space guards will be provided free of charge, and assistance with space guard installation will be provided on request.

      Inclinator recalls residential elevators

      Young children can become trapped in the space between the doors

      Inclinator Company of America of Harrisburg, Pa., is recalling about 39,300 Inclinator residential elevators.

      Young children can become trapped in the space between the exterior landing (hoistway) door and the interior elevator car door or gate if there is a hazardous gap. This could cause serious injuries or death when the elevator is called to another floor.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Inclinator residential elevators manufactured from 1979 through 2021. The affected models include Winding Drum (450 – 1,000 lb.), Hydraulic Drive, Chain Drive, Traction Drive and Overhead Cable Drum.

      Serial numbers are located on the elevator controllers, stamped on the rails, or on the outside of the drum for Winding Drum units.

      The elevators, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at Inclinator residential elevators. Parts were sold through a network of authorized dealers and, occasionally, directly to consumers from January 1979, through December 2021, for between approximately $20,000 and $35,000 including installation.

      What to do

      Consumers should keep unsupervised young children away from the recalled residential elevators and contact the manufacturers for instructions on how to measure for space guards to correct any hazardous gap.       Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling 30 model year 2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters.

      The spring-loaded rear step bolt fasteners were not properly tightened.

      Loose bolt fasteners may allow the rear step to separate from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will tighten the bolt fasteners and replace the console and attaching hardware free of charge.

      The vehicle may experience a loss of steering control

      Subaru of America is recalling 1,305 model year 2020 Ascents.

      Due to an incorrect tapered hole in the housing, the front tie rod ends may not fit properly. An improper fit can result in the tie rods and housings being deformed during assembly and service replacement if excessive torque is applied.

      As a result, the tie rods may separate from the housing, causing a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will replace the left and right front tie rod ends and housings free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on February 7, 2022.

      The fender liner may damage brake hose

      Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling 98 model year 2021 Mercedes-Benz and Freightliner Sprinters.

      The front axle fender liner and brake hose may be too close, allowing the fender liner to contact and damage the brake hose.

      A damaged brake hose may leak brake fluid, extending the distance needed to stop the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect the condition and clearance of the brake hose, modify the fender liner trim, and replace the brake hose -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Paint on the zipper pull contains excessive levels of lead

      Native Creation of Seattle, Wash., is recalling about 170 Native Small Wool Sweaters.

      Paint on the zipper pull contains levels of lead that exceed the maximums allowed, which can be toxic or cause other health problems to young children if the paint is ingested.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves Native Creation Small Wool Sweaters for children sizes 0 to 8 sold with dark gray, blue, or black as the base color with multi-colored patterns.

      The sweaters have a hood attached, a zipper along the front, and drawstrings at the top and bottom of the zipper path.

      The sweaters, manufactured in Ecuador, were sold at Native Creation from December 2020, through January 2021, for about $29.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled sweaters away from children and contact Native Creation for a full refund.

      The saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.

      A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

      Cummins recalls X12 Diesel Engines

      The fuel tubes may crack and leak fuel

      Cummins is recalling 10,938 X12 Diesel Engines with part numbers D0S3005BX03 and D0S3009BX03.

      The fuel tubes between the fuel rail and the injectors for cylinders four, five, and six may fatigue and crack, which can result in a high-pressure fuel leak.

      A high-pressure fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      On engines with 75 miles or less, dealers will install vibration isolators to the fuel tubes. Engines with more than 75 miles will receive new fuel tubes with vibration isolators. Repairs will be performed free of charge.

      The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.
