    The vehicle certification label contains incorrect information

    Cruiser RV is recalling 264 model year 2021-2022 Hitch trailers. The vehicle certification label does not have the correct Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed.

    Incorrect GAWR information may cause the vehicle to be overloaded, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Cruiser RV will mail new labels to owners, and dealers will replace them free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on December 13, 2021.

    VidaXL recalls ladders for above-ground pools

    The steps can loosen during use, posing fall and drowning hazards

    VidaXL of Rialto, Calif.. is recalling about 3,200 VidaXL steel pool ladders.

    The steps can loosen during use, posing fall and drowning hazards.

    The firm has received four reports of falls off the pool ladders. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves two models of VidaXL stainless steel pool ladders.

    The ladders measure 47 inches for above-ground pools, with item numbers (SKU) 93122 and 93188 printed alongside the vidaXL.com logo on the horizontal bar in the A-frame.

    The ladders have an A-shape and attach over the above-ground pool edge. There are two gray or blue non-skid plastic steps on each side of the ladder.

    The ladders, manufactured in China, were sold online at vidaxl.com from February 2021, through August 2021, for about $90.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled pool ladders and contact VidaXL for a full refund.

    The firm is contacting all purchasers directly and will instruct consumers to remove two of the ladder’s steps and dispose of the steps and ladder in the trash.

      Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA is recalling 233 model year 2020-2021 XVS95C motorcycles.

      The engine case may leak oil onto the rear tire.

      Oil on the rear tire may cause a loss of control, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Owners are advised to not ride their motorcycles until they are repaired. Dealers will inspect and replace the engine -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      RH recalls outdoor torches

      Torch fuel can leak from the top of the torch canister and ignite

      RH US of Corte Madera, Calif., is recalling about 1,240 Lambeth Outdoor Metal Torches sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      Torch fuel can leak from the top of the torch canister and ignite, posing a fire hazard.

      The firm has received seven reports of fuel leaking from the torch canister. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves RH’s Lambeth floor and tabletop outdoor metal torches with a hexagonal or knurled canister and a brass, iron, slate, or weathered bronze finish.

      The SKU is printed on a green sticker on the underside of the canister, and the SKU or UPC is located on the purchase receipt.

      The torches, manufactured in China, were sold at RH Galleries and RH Outlets nationwide and online at www.rh.com from July 2020, through August 2021, for between $50 and $600.

      What to do

      Consumers should stop using the recalled torches and contact RH for a full refund of the purchase price. If the consumer's purchase price cannot be determined, they will receive a credit instead.

      Consumers will receive a prepaid label and packaging to return the torch lid to RH. After RH receives the returned lid, the company will provide a refund or credit to the consumer.

      RH is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Hart Consumer Products recalls nailers

      The nailer can malfunction and involuntarily discharge a nail

      Hart Consumer Products of Anderson, S.C., is recalling about 15,700 Hart 18-Gauge 2” Brad Nailers.

      The nailer's contact sensor can malfunction and involuntarily discharge a nail, posing a risk of serious injury to the user or bystanders.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Hart 18-Gauge 2” Brad Nailers with model numbers HPNR01, HPNR01B, HPNR01B-SK, or HPNR01BNCA.

      The white, blue, and black handheld tool has the name “HART” on the side of the nailer in white type on a black background and has “18ga BRAD NAILER” on the side of the nail tray/magazine in white type on a blue background.

      The model numbers are located on the side of the nail tray/magazine where the nails are loaded.

      The nailers, manufactured in Vietnam, were sold at Walmart USA stores nationwide and online at www.walmart.com from April 2021, through September 2021, for between $130 and $160.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled nailer and return it to any Walmart USA store for a full refund. Consumers may also return items for free by mail via a scheduled pickup from their home.

      The helmets do not meet the federal safety standard

      ABUS Mobile Security of Chicago, Ill., is recalling about 790 ABUS MountZ youth helmets.

      The helmets do not comply with the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets, posing a risk of head injury.

      No incidents or injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves the ABUS ACM (MountZ) youth medium-sized helmets with about a 21-inch circumference and attached chin strap sold in velvet black and polar white.

      “ABUS” is printed on the left side, front, and back of the helmets.

      The model ACM (MountZ) with the manufactured date of March 2020, or October 2020, is printed on a label on the inside of the helmet.

      The helmets, manufactured in China, were sold at independent bike shops nationwide from April 2020, through October 2021, for about $80.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled helmets and return them to ABUS’ Recall Administrator, Sedgwick, for a full refund.

      The rear suspension fasteners may not be tightened properly

      Shyft Group is recalling 660 model year 2020-2022 Spartan RV Chassis K1 and K2 recreational vehicles.

      The rear suspension mounting fasteners that attach the rear-drive axle to the rear suspension may not have been tightened properly, which could allow the fasteners to loosen or break.

      Loose or broken suspension fasteners can allow the rear-drive axle to shift out of place, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Backyard Play Systems recalls playsets with wooden roofs

      Children can become trapped in the playset

      Backyard Play Systems of Monroe, Mich., is recalling about 5,300 Turbo Racer, Cloud Racer, Captain’s Fort, and Fort Highlander outdoor playsets sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The wooden parts used to reinforce and create a decorative gable design on the wooden roof pose an entrapment hazard to children. Children can become trapped in the gap between the lower part of the roof structure and the bottom of the gable decoration. No incidents or injuries are reported.

      The wooden roof is included with home play equipment marketed under the brand names Yardline Play Systems (models Turbo Racer, Cloud Racer) and Gorilla Playsets (models Captain’s Fort, Fort Highlander).

      The playsets include a solid wood roof with a lookout window, slides, swings, a rock-climbing wall, and other play features.

      The playsets were sold online at Costco.com from March 2019, through May 2021, (Turbo Racer, Cloud Racer) and online at Lowes.com from December 2020, through May 2021, (Captain’s Fort, Fort Highlander) for about $1,000.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled playsets and contact Backyard Play Systems for a free repair kit. The kit includes replacement wood parts, hardware, and instructions.

      If consumers are unable or do not want to do the repair themselves, Backyard will send a representative to perform the repair for them at no charge. The firm is contacting all known purchasers directly.
