    PetSmart recalls Top Paw Double Diner Dog Bowls

    The gasket on the bottom of the dog bowls can come off, leaving an unfinished edge

    PetSmart of Phoenix, Ariz., is recalling about 100,300 Top Paw Double Diner Dog Bowls.

    The gasket on the bottom of the dog bowls can come off, leaving an unfinished edge, posing a risk of laceration.

    The firm has received three reports of cuts and scratches to consumers’ hands as a result of handling the unfinished edge on the recalled dog bowls.

    This recall involves the Top Paw Double Diner Dog Bowl with a set of two metal dog food bowls that are elevated off the ground in a metal base surrounded by a plastic gasket.

    The dog bowls have a dog paw print on the front of the bowls.

    The SKU number 5270098 and UPC number 73725775404 is printed on a sticker found on the underside wall of the product, near the embossed paw print.

    The bowls, manufactured in India, were sold at PetSmart stores nationwide and online at www.petsmart.com from October 2017, through June 2021, for about $28.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled dog bowls and return them to any PetSmart store for a full refund.

    A recall has been issued for children’s eating utensils sold in the U.S. and Canada.

    Toyota recalls Yaris vehicles with fuel pump issue

    Toyota is recalling more than 31,000 model year 2019-2020 Yaris, Yaris Hatchback and Yaris Sedan vehicles whose fuel pumps may fail and cause an engine stall.

    This could increase the risk of a crash.

    The low-pressure fuel pump assembly will be replaced by dealers free of charge.

    Owners wishing to contact Toyota customer service may do so by calling (800) 331-4331.

    Faulty children’s eating utensils recalled

    “Cutie Spoovel” children’s eating utensils whose handle can break off and release small parts, posing a choking hazard, are being recalled.

    Ryan and Rose, the manufacturer, says about 18,000 of the utensils were sold in the U.S. and Canada. No injuries have been reported

    Consumers are advised to take the recalled utensils away from children immediately and contact Ryan and Rose at (800) 317-8764 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday, to receive a full refund or a $20 shop credit.

    Possible choking hazard behind puzzle recall

    Some 8,100 Ocean and Safari animal wooden tray puzzles are being recalled by Wee Gallery as the octopus and elephant puzzle pieces can break, posing a choking hazard to young children.

    While there have been no injuries, the company has received six reports of puzzle pieces breaking.

    Parents should take the recalled puzzles away from children and contact Wee Gallery at (800) 282-5149 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET) Monday through Friday for a refund in the form of a $35 gift certificate for the purchase of any Wee Gallery product.

    Frozen cooked shrimp recall expanded

    An earlier recall of frozen cooked shrimp that may be contaminated with Salmonella is being expanded.

    Avanti Frozen Foods says this includes certain consignments of various sizes of frozen cooked, peeled, deveined, shrimp (with some packaged with cocktail sauce).

    Nine reports of Salmonella-related illness have been received to date.

    The recalled products, sold nationwide from November 2020, to May 2021, are listed here.

    Maserati North America is recalling 125 model year 2021 Quattroporte Trofeos and Ghibli Trofeos with optional 21-inch tires.

    The tire placard may have incorrect tire pressure information.

    Tires that are inflated to the incorrect pressure could lead to a loss of vehicle stability and control, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Dealers will replace the placard and update the tire pressure monitoring system free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 17, 2021.

      NRC recalls motorhomes built on Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star chassis

      The stove saddle valves may leak gas

      NRC Modifications is recalling two model year 2019-2020 NRC motorhomes, built on Freightliner Cascadia and Western Star chassis.

      These vehicles are equipped with certain Dometic 3-burner stoves, whose saddle valve securing bolt may be overtightened, possibly damaging the o-ring seal and causing a continuous gas leak.

      A gas leak can increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Dometic will notify owners on NRC's behalf, and dealers will install a remedy kit of gaskets, washers, thread locker bolts and two round orange labels free of charge.

      The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.

      The handle of the Cutie Spoovel utensil can break off

      Ryan and Rose of Bartlett, Tenn., is recalling about 18,000 “Cutie Spoovel” children’s eating utensils sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The handle of the Cutie Spoovel utensil can break off releasing small parts, posing a choking hazard for young children.

      The firm has received three reports of the Cutie Spoovel handle breaking when a child bit down on it. No injuries or reports of choking have been reported.

      The Cutie Spoovel is a transitional eating utensil for young children made out of silicone with a plastic core, and comes in a set of two in various colors.

      “Cutie Spoovel” is printed on the back of the spoon, and RR is printed on the back of the handle on the end.

      The utensils, manufactured in China, were sold online at https://www.ryanandrose.co from April 2021, through July 2021, for about $14.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately take the recalled utensils away from children, dispose of them, and contact Ryan and Rose to receive a full refund or a $20 shop credit.

      Kia Motors America is recalling 253,074 model year 2016-2018 Fortes & Forte Koups, and model year 2018-2019 Rios.

      The trunk latch may become damaged, preventing the opening of the trunk from the inside.

      A person inside the trunk compartment may become trapped, increasing the risk of injury.

      John Deere recalls compact utility tractors

      The rear wheels may fall off during use

      Deere & Company of Moline, Ill., is recalling about 200 John Deere compact utility tractors.

      Rear wheel spacer bolts that were torqued improperly during manufacturing can cause the wheel to fall off during use. This can result in the tractor overturning, posing an injury hazard to the operator.

      The firm has received one report of a wheel falling off. No injuries have been reported.

      This recall involves John Deere compact utility tractors with model numbers 4044M, 4044R, 4052M, 4052R, 4066M or 4066R printed on the hood.

      The recalled compact utility tractors were sold in green and yellow and come in both open operator station and cab configurations. “John Deere” is printed on the hood.

      The serial number is located on the frame on the front right side of the machine near the engine and begins with 1LV.

      The tractors, manufactured in the U.S., were sold at John Deere dealers nationwide from December 2020, through June 2021, for between $30,000 and $56,000.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled tractors and contact an authorized John Deere dealer for a free inspection and repair of the wheel mounting bolts. John Deere is contacting all known purchasers directly.

      Frieyss recalls infant bath seats

      The products fail to meet the federal safety standard for infant bath seats

      Frieyss of China is recalling about 120 infant bath seats.

      The products fail to meet the federal safety standard for infant bath seats, including requirements for stability and leg openings, and can tip over while in use, posing a drowning hazard.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves Frieyss infant bath seats that are blue plastic with four green suction cups on the bottom.

      Stickers featuring clouds, a lion, a sun and a squirrel holding two balloons are on the front bar.

      The seat is about 13 inches wide, 12 inches deep and 8 inches high and are advertised as suitable for baby ages 6 months to12 months.

      A sticker on the packaging states, "(barcode-X002RAO6GV) Baby Shower Chair…Made in China." “Pull rubber tab below to release suction pads from bath” is stamped on the bottom of the bath seat.

      The bath seats were sold exclusively online at Amazon.com in March and April 2021 for about $40.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled infant bath seats and contact Frieyss for instructions on returning the bath seats with free shipping to receive a full refund.

      Enerco Group is recalling 52,188 Enerco and Mr. Heater propane regulators, model numbers 73766 and 73836(G).
