    There have been no reports of allergic reactions to date.

    The recalled product, which comes in a 3-compartment container with sell by dates affected of August 25 – September 5, 2021, was sold in the deli department of stores in the following locations:

    Gas One recalls propane adapter hoses

    The hose can swell during use causing gas to leak

    Gas One of Commerce, Calif., is recalling about 19,500 Gas One propane adapter hoses.

    The hose can swell during use causing gas to leak, posing a fire hazard.

    The firm has received five reports of adapter hoses swelling. No injuries have been reported.

    This recall involves Gas One 50140 propane adapter hoses which are designed to be used with propane gas tanks.

    The hoses include the following model numbers: 50140-08, 50140-012, 50140-05GA, 50140.

    The recalled propane adapter hoses are part of manufacturer batch numbers Pearl River 3Q20 and Pearl River 4Q20 which is stamped on the hose.

    The hoses, manufactured in China, were sold online at www.amazon.com, www.ebay.com, www.gasone.com www.homedepot.com and www.walmart.com from December 2020, through February 2021, for between $9 and $18.

    What to do

    Consumers should immediately stop using the adapter hose and contact Gas One to obtain a free replacement.

      Baking Institute Bakery recalls carrot cake

      The product may contain walnuts, coconuts and milk, allergens not declared on the label

      The Baking Institute Bakery of Northbrook, Ill., is recalling Carrot Cake, that may contain walnuts, coconuts and milk, allergens not declared on the label.

      No illnesses have been confirmed to date.

      The “Carrot Cake” was distributed to retail stores in northern Illinois.

      The recalled product, which comes in a 6-inch and 8-inch round size plastic container with a black base and a clear dome lid container marked with UPC codes 813749010014 (8-inch) and Carrot Cake 8500244836235(8-inch), was sold in retail stores in northern Illinois.

      What to do

      Customers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to walnuts, coconuts and milk who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      The brake lights may not function

      Indian Motorcycle Company is recalling177 model year 2020 Scout Bobber Sixty motorcycles.

      An engine control unit (ECU) update may have caused the brake lights to become inoperable, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Owners will be asked to inspect their brake lights, and advised to not ride their motorcycle if the brake lights are inoperable.

      If the brake lights are not functioning, dealers will re-flash the ECU free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 27, 2021.

      KBF of Astoria, N.Y., is recalling Banoful Top Orange Biscuit food treats.

      The product may contain milk, an allergen not declared on the label.

      The recalled product, which comes in an 8.11-oz., orange plastic package marked with MFG 15.06.2020 on the top, UPC code is 8-941114-001427 and an expiration date of 14/06/2022 stamped on the side, was sold in retail stores nationwide and through mail orders.

      Ivena International recalls shower benches

      The shower bench can collapse during use, posing a fall hazard

      Ivena International of Singapore is recalling about 81,000 teak shower benches sold in the U.S and Canada.

      The shower bench can collapse during use, posing a fall hazard to the user.

      Consumers have reported 81 incidents of the shower benches collapsing, breaking during use, or falling apart -- including four reports of people being injured in falls.

      The four injuries included a fractured tailbone, persistent head and body aches and bruising.

      This recall involves Ivena 20” teak shower benches made of light brown teak with padding on the feet.

      The seat and bottom shelf have a row of wood paneling. Item number 1049998 and UPC 8886474018015 are printed on the exterior packaging.

      The bench has a label that says, “100% wood from well-managed forests.”

      The benches, manufactured in Indonesia, were sold at Costco stores nationwide and online at Costco.com from October 2018, through June 2021, for about $80 in stores and $90 online.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the shower benches and return them to Costco for a full refund. Costco is contacting all purchasers directly.

      A fuel leak may occur from the fuel hose between the fuel pump and the remote fuel filter head.

      A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Cummins will replace the fuel hoses free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on October 3, 2021.

      Recall Roundup: Land Rover recalls Range Rover Sports and LR4s due to possibility of fuel leak

      Kids' toy shaving kits are also being recalled

      Nearly 112,000 model year 2010-2013 Range Rover Sports and model year 2010-2016 LR4s with 3.0L V6 or 5.0L V8 engines are being recalled.

      Land Rover says it's because the fuel outlet flange mounted on the fuel tank may crack, possibly resulting in a fuel leak, which could pose a fire risk.

      The automaker's dealers will replace the fuel outlet flange free of charge.

      Juratoys recalls children’s shaving toys

      Juratoys US says excessive levels of phthalates, which are toxic if ingested by young children, is behind its decision to recall recalling more than 13,000 Janod Children’s Shaving Kits.

      The brown trim of the shaving kit bags contains levels of a regulated phthalate that exceed the prohibition of specific phthalates.

      Banned phthalates are toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

      Six batches of the toy are included in this recall:

      • 10024/ J06548/ 062020
      • 10166/ J06548/ 072020
      • 10279/ J06548/ 092020
      • 10460/ J06548/ 112020
      • 10551/ J06548/ 022021

      Parents should take the kits away from their kids immediately and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

      Because the products did not undergo federal inspection, S AS Foods Enterprises is recalling approximately 3,768 pounds of beef and chicken empanadas.

      The following frozen, fully cooked items, shipped to retail consignees in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin are being recalled:

      • 1-lb. zip-lock bags or clear, plastic containers with “SAS Food EMPANADAS DE POLLO CHICKEN PATTIES.”
      • 1-lb. zip-lock bags or clear, plastic containers with “SAS Food EMPANADAS DE CARNE BEEF PATTIES.”

      No illnesses have been reported.

      Consumers who have any of the recalled products should not eat them, but discard or return them to the place of purchase.

      Recalls are out for Husqvarna and Svartpilen motorcycles

      KTM North America is recalling roughly 1,500 Husqvarna Motorcycle 701 Vitpilen and 701 Svartpilen motorcycles.

      According to the company the license plate holder could contact the rear wheel and increase the risk of a crash or injury.

      Work by the dealers -- which will be done at no cost to owners -- includes inspecting and realigning the gear teeth on the license plate holder and swingarm, and making sure the rear wheel axle collar is tightened properly.

      KTM North America is recalling 1,506 model year 2018-2020 Husqvarna Motorcycle 701 Vitpilen and model year 2019-2020 701 Svartpilen motorcycles.

      The gear teeth on the license plate holder and swingarm may be positioned incorrectly, possibly resulting in a loose rear axle nut, causing the license plate holder to contact the rear wheel.

      License plate bracket interference with the rear wheel can increase the risk of a crash or injury.

      The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 38548” inside the USDA mark of inspection. However, the recalling company has no affiliation with Establishment 38548.

      The Step2 Company of Streetsboro, Ohio, is recalling about 1,600 StepUp Sidekick Learning Towers sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The storage tray with cup holders and step can come loose from the tower, posing a fall hazard to the child.

      The firm has received 20 reports of the storage trays or steps coming loose from the tower, including one child sustaining minor bruises after falling from the tower.

      This recall involves Step2’s StepUp Sidekick Learning Tower for children.

      The tower can be used as a helper stool and as a chair. It has a white plastic exterior with a gray tray with two cup holders, seat and a step.

      Manufacture codes included in this recall are 10-2020, 3-2021, and 5-2021 which can be found on the removable seat/step.

      Model number “4134” is molded into the bottom of the tower.

      The towers, manufactured in the U.S, were sold online at Step2.com and at Amazon.com during May 2021 for about $100.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled StepUp Sidekick Learning Tower and contact Step2 for a full refund or a credit on Step2.com of equivalent value or an Amazon gift card, if purchased via Amazon.com.
