Gorton’s Seafood is recalling 504 packages of frozen Gorton’s Fish Sandwich - 100% Whole Fillets.

The product may contain large and/or sharp bone fragments. There have been no reports of injury.

The recalled product, which comes in an 18.3 oz package, with UPC 0 44400 15440 6 and date code 2060F2, was sold at Hannaford Supermarkets in New York and Vermont; Giant Food Stores & Giant Martin's in Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Maryland; Farm Fresh, Food Depot, Green Valley Marketplace, Harvest Fare, Shoppers Value Foods, St Paul Grocery Market, Tiger Market, Tri-Star Supermarket, and Wegmans in Virginia and Maryland; and U.S. military commissaries in North Carolina, Virginia, and Puerto Rico.

Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it. Instead, they should contact Gorton’s at (888) 573-5982 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EST) for more information.
