    Albertsons Companies is recalling ReadyMeals Chicken Salad Quad and Chicken Salad Sandwich Club Trays.

    The products contain cashews, an allergen not declared on the label.

    One adverse reaction has been reported.

    A list of the recalled products, prepared in-store at certain Albertsons and Safeway stores, may be found here.

    The recalled products were sold at Albertsons and Safeway stores in Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming.

    What to do

    Customers with an allergy or severe sensitivity to cashews who purchased the recalled products should not consume them, but discard or return them to their local store for a full refund.

    Tesla recalls model year 2017-2021 Model S and Model X cars

    Driving on rough roads or after hitting a pothole may seriously affect power steering assist

    Tesla is recalling model year 2017-2021 Model S and Model X vehicles.

    The electronic power assist steering (EPAS) system may experience a loss of power steering assist when being driven on rough roads or after hitting a pothole.

    A car that loses power steering assist may be harder to steer -- especially at low speeds, increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    The company has released an over-the-air (OTA) software update to recalibrate the EPAS system free of charge.

    Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 31, 2022.

    The running lights may stay on when the headlights are on

    General Motors is recalling 338,735 model year 2021 Yukons, Yukon XLs, Chevrolet Tahoes & Suburbans, and Cadillac Escalade, & Escalade ESVs.

    The daytime running lights (DRLs) may not deactivate when the headlights are on.

    This may cause a glare, reducing visibility and increasing the risk of a crash.

    What to do

    Dealers will update the vehicle's Body Control Module software free of charge.

    Owners will be notified of this issue by mail starting around December 19, 2022.

      Clarks Americas recalls women’s navy blue canvas shoes

      The wearer may be exposed to toxic chemicals benzidine and/or dimethoxybenzidine

      Clarks Americas of Needham, Mass., is recalling about 123,000 pair of Breeze Ave, Breeze Shore and Breeze Step women’s shoes in navy colors sold in the U.S and Canada.

      Prolonged and direct contact with the shoes’ upper material can expose the wearer to the toxic chemicals benzidine and/or dimethoxybenzidine, which can cause adverse health effects.

      No incidents or injuries are reported.

      This recall involves several versions of Clarks women’s shoes sold under the “Breeze” style name. The shoes were sold in the Spring/Summer 2022 season in women’s sizes 5 to 12 and feature blue uppers and white soles.

      The shoes include a label on the inside of the upper that includes the size, month and year of manufacture, and article number.

      The shoes, manufactured in China, were sold at Clarks outlet stores and other stores, including Macy’s, JC Penney, Kohl’s, QVC, Shoe Carnival, DSW and Zappos, and online at Clarksusa.com and Amazon.com from February to October 2022 for about $65.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop wearing the shoes and visit https//www.clarkusa.com for instructions on how to receive a full refund.

      Consumers will need to upload a photo of their shoes in order to determine if they are included in this recall.

      If included, Clarks will send consumers free shipping materials and a pre-paid shipping label to send back the shoes.

      Consumers may also return their shoes to the place of purchase.

      The product can overheat, spark, burn or experience other electrical problems.

      Whele LLC of Boston, Mass., is recalling 544,212 Mighty Bliss electric heating pads.

      The product can overheat, spark, burn, or present other electrical problems, leading to burns, mild shocks, or rashes/irritation.

      The firm has received 31 reports of such injuries.

      This recall applies to the following model numbers manufactured between January 8, 2021, and January 3, 2022, and sold from July 29, 2021, through July 21, 2022, on Amazon.com and Walmart.com:

      • MB-001 (NA-H1121B): Large (12” x 24”) Blue Electric Heating Pad
      • MB-002 (NA-H21C): Extra-Large (20” x 24”) Blue Electric Heating Pad
      • PE-MtyBls-HeatPad-12x24-Gry-V2(NA-H1121B): Large (12” x 24”) Grey Electric Heating Pad

      Customers who purchased the recalled products should:

      Ensure unit is unplugged.

      Safely cut the cord off the device

      Mercedes-Benz recalls model year 2022 C300s

      A variety of electrical issues could lead to a crash or fire

      Mercedes-Benz USA is recalling 6,752 model year 2022 C300s.

      Moisture accumulation in the trunk may leak into the signal acquisition module (SAM), causing an electrical short circuit.

      This could lead could lead to various malfunctions, such as rear exterior lighting failure, unintentional rear seat folding, and rearview camera failure, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.

      Additionally, an electrical short circuit might increase the risk of a fire.

      What to do

      Dealers will install a cover for the SAM free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 11, 2022.

      Myx recalls exercise bicycles

      The pedals can loosen and/or detach posing an injury hazard

      Myx Fitness of El Segundo, Calif., is recalling about 162,000 MYX I, MYX II and MYX II Plus connected exercise bicycles.

      The pedals can loosen and/or detach when not properly tightened at installation, posing an injury hazard.

      The firm has received 864 reports of the pedals loosening or detaching, including 75 reports of injuries resulting in bruises and cuts.

      This recall involves all MYX I, MYX II and MYX II Plus connected exercise bicycles.

      The black or white stationary bikes measure 55 inches long, 21 inches wide and 47 inches high.

      They have a 21.5-inch swiveling touchscreen, pedals with clips and straps, and adjustable handlebars and seat.

      Myx is printed on the side of the bicycles.

      The exercise bikes, manufactured in China, were sold online at www.MyxFitness.com and www.amazon.com from November 2019, through July 2022, for about $1,400 for the MYX I and MYX II bikes, and for about $1,600 for the MYX II Plus bike package.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled exercise bikes until the pedals are properly tightened per the instructions that Myx is providing consumers by email.

      Consumers should contact Myx to schedule a free, in-home repair if their bike’s pedals have previously detached and have not already been repaired by Myx. Instructions are also available at https://www.myxfitness.com/pages/cpsc.

      Tire pressure monitoring problem behind recall of Dodge Challengers, Chargers and Chrysler 300s

      The Tire Pressure Monitoring System sensor system may fail

      Chrysler is recalling 44,212 model year 2022 Dodge Challengers, Chargers and Chrysler 300s, expanding a recall from earlier this year.

      The sensor battery for the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) may fail and cause the sensor to become inoperative.

      If those sensors don't work, drivers wont be alerted to low tire pressure. In addition, a TPMS warning light that is on because of a failed battery sensor will mask an actual tire pressure failure issue.

      Either of these conditions can result in tire failure and increase the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will inspect and replace the TPMS sensors -- as necessary -- free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are should be in the mail by December 16, 2022.

      The heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system's controls may fail

      Ford Motor Company is recalling 31,339 model year 2022-2023 Transit vehicles.

      The heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system's controls -- including those for defog and defrost -- may become inoperative.

      The inability to control the defrost or defog function decreases the driver's visibility under certain driving conditions, increasing the risk of a crash.

      What to do

      Dealers will update the remote climate control module software free of charge.

      A half million Black+Decker garment steamers recalled

      The steamers can expel, spray or leak hot water posing a burn hazard

      Empower Brands is recalling about 518,500 Black+Decker Easy Garment Steamers.

      The steamers can expel, spray or leak hot water during use, posing a burn hazard.

      The firm has received 241 reports of hot water expelling from the steamer, including 32 reports of burns, two of which were second-degree burns.

      This recall involves Black+Decker ModelHGS011 Easy Garment Steamers with date codes 102ZJ through 210ZJ located on the plug blades.

      The steamers were sold in a variety of colors with the name Black+Decker located at the base of the steamer.

      The steamer measures about 11 inches high by 6 inches wide and has a large handle and model numbers printed on the bottom of the steamer and on all sides of the color package, and UPC codes are printed on the sides, back and bottom of the color package.

      Only steamers without a green dot on the bottom of the package or a notched triangle on the underside of its upper assembly are included in this recall.

      The steamers, manufactured in China, were sold at Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond and other stores nationwide, including online at www.walmart.com, www.target.com, www.bedbathandbeyond.com and www.blackanddeckerappliances.com from June 2021, through September 2022, for between $16 and $23.

      Johnson Health Tech recalls Horizon Fitness treadmills

      The treadmills can unexpectedly accelerate, change speed or stop

      Johnson Health Tech Trading of Cottage Grove, Wisc., is recalling about 197,000 Horizon T101-05 treadmills sold in the U.S. and Canada.

      The treadmills can accelerate, change speed or stop without user input, posing a fall hazard.

      The firm has received at least 874 reports where the treadmills unexpectedly changed speed or stopped, including 71 reports of injury, including bruises, abrasions and two broken bones.

      This recall involves Horizon Fitness T101-05 folding treadmills with a running area that measures 55 inches long by 20 inches wide and has a 33-inch-wide console.

      The display has red LEDs that provide workout information to the user. Horizon T101-05 is printed on the treadmill’s serial number label. The name of the model and the serial number are located on the metal frame near the power switch. The serial number starts with the letters “TM”.

      Only treadmills with the following serial numbers are included in this recall:

      • T101-05 China TM734
      • T101-05 Vietnam TM486

      The treadmills were sold at Dick’s Sporting Goods and Johnson Fitness & Wellness stores nationwide and online at www.HorizonFitness.com, www.Amazon.com, www.DicksSportingGoods.com, and www.JohnsonFitness.com from March 2018, through October 2022 for between $600 and $1,000.

      What to do

      Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled T101-05 treadmills and contact Horizon to receive a free USB with a software repair to install on the treadmills.

      Owners should park their vehicles outside and away from structures and other vehicles until it has been repaired.

      A remedy is currently under development.

      Foster Farms of Farmerville, La., is recalling approximately 148,000 pounds of fully cooked frozen chicken breast patties.

      The product may be contaminated with extraneous materials -- specifically hard clear pieces of plastic.

      There are no confirmed reports of injuries.

      The following fully cooked, frozen, breaded item, produced on August 11, 2022, is being recalled:

      • 80-oz. plastic bag packages containing 20 pieces of “CHICKEN PATTIES BREADED CHICKEN BREAST PATTIES WITH RIB MEAT” with best by date “08/11/23,” establishment number “P-33901,” and lot code “3*2223**” in inkjet print on the back edge of the packaging as well as “7527899724” under the barcode.

      The recalled product was shipped to Costco distribution centers in Arizona, California, Colorado, Utah and Washington, and may have been further distributed to Costco retail locations.

      What to do

      Customers who purchased the recalled product should not consume it, but discard or return it to the place of purchase.

      The Anti-Lock Brake System module may cause an engine compartment fire

      Hyundai Motor America is recalling 44,396 model year 2018 Santa Fe Sport vehicles, expanding the recall issued earlier this year.

      The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) module could malfunction and cause an electrical short, which could result in a fire in the engine compartment while the vehicle is parked or being driven.

      A fire in either case poses the risk of an injury.

      What to do

      Owners should park their vehicle outside and away from structures until it has been repaired.

      Dealers will replace the ABS multi-fuse free of charge.

      Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 26, 2022.

      The basketball goal can detach from the wall and fall to the ground

      Goalsetter Systems of Evansville, Ind., is recalling about 18,000 Goalsetter wall-mounted basketball goals.

      The goals can unexpectedly detach from the wall and fall to the ground, posing a risk of injury and death.

      A 14-year-old boy was killed when a basketball goal fell on him in June 2018. Additionally, the firm has received four reports of incidents of the goal detaching from a wall, in which a consumer sustained severe facial injuries, and another suffered a fractured leg.

      This recall involves all Goalsetter Adjustable and Fixed Wall Mount Series and GS Baseline Series 72-inch, 60-inch, 54-inch, and 48-inch wall-mounted goal systems.

      The basketball goals have a white Goalsetter logo (a white basketball to the left of the word “Goalsetter” printed in the lower left corner of the backboard).

      The basketball goals were sold at SCHEELS stores and basketball equipment stores nationwide, and online at www.amazon.com, www.dickssportinggoods.com, www.walmart.com, www.competitiveedgeproducts.com and www.target.com from November 1999, through June 2022, for between $919 and $2,250.

      What to do

      Consumers should stop using the recalled wall-mounted basketball goals immediately and contact Goalsetter for free removal of the goal with a full refund or a free inspection of the installed wall-mounted goal and free installation of an additional safety bracket.

      Daimler Vans USA (DVUSA) is recalling 124,305 model year 2019-2022 Mercedes-Benz Sprinters and Freightliner Sprinters with a manual parking brake and 7-speed automatic transmission.

      The guide bushing on the parking pawl may fatigue, which can cause the parking pawl not to engage and result in vehicle rollaway.

      This could increase the risk of a crash

      What to do

      When you take the vehicle to a dealer, the software of various control units -- including the electronic stability and transmission control units -- will be updated free of charge.

      Owners will be notified by letter beginning around December 19, 2022.
